Luna Skincare Reviews (%countItem)

I Ordered a "free" sample of a skin cream pay only shipping and handling $4.95 on Sat Oct 8 which it was a trail offer they gave I think it was 14 days for the trail period but ti turned out that it was not from the time you received the product but from the time you actually purchased the product. On Oct 25th @ 3:58 am there was a charge for $89.95 on my credit card from a company named HSkin ? never heard of and there was no number to call on my credit card statement. So I had to do some research to find who was charging my credit card and what it was for. Which took a little bit of time. I finally found a number to call and they said that I did not call within the fourteen days of the trail so I was charged $89.95 for the SAMPLE!!!! I spoke to three different people for over 50 minutes total and not one person could really help me. They told me that I was suppose to call the number on on the packaging slip to cancel or returns BUT THERE IS NOT A TELEPHONE NUMBER OR AN MAIL ADDRESS ON THE PACKAGING SLIP- IT STATES for BEST RESULT USE 3-6 MONTHS. AND THEN STATES "for all returns and cancellations please call her 24 hour customer service number at Email WHICH IS COMPLETELY BLANK. Finally the pending charges now say 10/26/2017 Mybeautycreams XXXXXXXXXX Ca. But the product that I purchased was called LUNA SkinCare not any of the names that where listed on my credit card. I think that they do that on purpose. They cancelled my monthly "recurring order" but refused to refund the "purchase price" of the sample bottle. They offered to give me it for 1/2 price but I did not receive any additional product but the sample Also I did not SEE ANY IMPROVEMENTS in the time I used it. This company is despicable and should be prevented from xselling items on the internet BUYERS BEWARE! They have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and PRODUCT. I would tell everyone I know not to do business with this company EVER!!!!

This product suggests that is best to allow 60 days to enjoy the benefits of the product, yet you need to return in 14 days if not satisfied.
On 10/11/2017, I purchased a 30 day trial for two skin products and was charged $9.90 for shipping. Actually, I was ordering one product, and got stuck with the second product, because there was no place on the website that allowed me to refuse the second product.
I began the process of trying to contact Luna Skincare last week and could not find a phone number or a contact email until today.
Today, 11/6/2017, I called to cancel my account, thinking that I was ahead of the 30-day trial period.
I requested a cancellation, to which they agreed. Then they informed me that my credit card had been charged roughly $180.00 because I had not canceled within the 17 free trial period.
The Packing slip, which came with the products had a place where their email should have been listed; it was not. It also had a space where their phone number should be used to contact them; there was no phone number.
I believe this company uses false advertising to promote this product, and also uses deceptive marketing in not allowing me to reject the second product while ordering.
I offered to sent the remaining product back, which they said I could do, but no credit would be issued.
I am seeking a full refund, because $180.00 is an awful lot of money to lose on the technicalities of advertising with smoke and mirrors. I also am in hopes that a change in business practices will take place, so others do not fall victim to this scam. This is no way to build a good business.

Desired Outcome

As stated above, I am seeking a full refund. I am willing to return the unused product, at my own expense. In the reading material sent with the product, it suggests that you should give the product at least 60 days in which to receive the best results. How am I supposed to cancel within 14 days, if it takes 60 to do the product justice. This is deceptive!

My debit card was charged 89.95 after I had, in writing, canceled and closed my acct after previously ordering a"free"sample that was to cost 5.95.
I ordered a free sample on 10/12/17 but didn't do my homework on the company before ordering. After ordering I googled the company and they had horrible reviews about their payment policy. I quickly called and attempted to cancel the order. The customer service agent quickly began trying to talk me out of it saying "Aww just one bad review you should not want to cancel because of that, call me back in 20 days. I assume he was hoping I would forget. Instead I sent an email to customer service asking them to cancel order 8ADFAXXXXX immediately and that I didn't want to wait to cancel and that they could charge the 5.95 and they were unauthorized to make any other charges to my account. After a few back and forth emails with the customer service team who insisted I change my mind, I finally got a response on 10/15/2017 that my account was closed and I would receive no further charges. On October 29, 2017 my debit card was charged 89.95 on a cancelled and closed account and I don't have any product. When I emailed them the morning of October 30, 2017 and asked why would my closed account be charged. I received a call from a woman saying that I can not cancel my account by email. I told her, "I received an email from someone at your company, I assume your customer service representative saying that my account was closed on October 15, 2017 and no other charges would be made. I then told her that I had reported the fraud to my bank. She then told me she can no longer talk to me or refund my money unless I told my bank that the charge was not fradulent. I refused to do that because IT IS A FRADULENT CHARGE. If the company agreed not to charge my account and then proceeds to charge it, I consider that fraud. What other name is their for such behavior?

Desired Outcome

I expect the company to immediately refund my 89.95. I also would like to see them revise their policies but I guess if they've been getting away with this type of behavior they probably wont. All I am seeking is my 89.95.

Due to the error in cancellation, we charged the customer on 10/29/2017 for the eye serum after the trial period exceeded in the amount of $89.95.

We will gladly refund the customer in full for the eye serum in the amount of $89.95 and apologize for the erroneous charge. Here is the refund confirmation:

Company will not take refund and return my money.
On October 7, 2017 I purchased a free trial of two skin care products from Luna Skincare for shipping and handling $5.95 and $4.95 respectfully. The products were shipped and received. Next thing I know, this company debited my bank account on October 26, 2017 for $87.35 and $89.95. And according to the company I signed up for a recurring monthly debt when I signed up for the free trail. No where did I see the terms and conditions stating that this would occur if I accepted the free trail.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of of #177.30.

Answered survey, offered 2 free items if I paid shipping. Received 2 items for shipping paid. 20 days later charged full price for items.
Started June 5, 2017. Received two creams for what I thought was a free trial. Twenty days later was charged full price for both items. Have received those items each month since. I have returned all items and attempted contact by mail. No response. Contacted by email, they requested I call them. I did not sign up for this intentionally, emailed again and they will only request I call them.
I should not have to call them because this happened through the computer. It should be taken care of on the computer.

Desired Outcome

Want them to stop shipping these creams and refund my credit card for each shipment. They have charged me almost $200 each month since June. I am a retired person on limited income. This was an error that I have attempted to correct.

Ordered a "free" sample of a skin cream pay only shipping and handling. was subsequently billed $89.95 for my monthly "recurring order". When I called the operator told me that there were terms and conditions at the bottom of the web page that stated I had 16 days to cancel or I would be enrolled in a monthly recurring order. They canceled the recurring order but refused to refund the "purchase price" of the sample bottle. the terms and conditions is a long document with fine print. This company is despicable and should be prevented from preying upon others with their deceptive practices.

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) Although I know it is not possible, i would prefer they be put out of business.
