I had an agreement with Lush Lawn that they would apply organic fertilizer only and absolutely no weed control. Also, I informed them when they called my home to ask me to sign on with their service that I would require an advance call before they came out. I further stated that if they were unable to provide an advance call that I would not sign up. I explained that I had two pitbull dogs and would need to have to make sure they were inside before they could come onto the property. I further explained that they would possibly bite and that they would run away if the gate was left open. Additionally, I explained that one of the dogs has severe allergies and could not be exposed to weed control chemicals. They agreed to call in advance and not to apply weed control, so I proceeded with the service agreement. They called in advance for the first application on 3/17/20 and provided the correct product and I paid the bill. The second time that they came out on 5/29/20, they did not call first and my son was home. He observed them spraying a chemical and when I returned home I could smell the chemical and I did not observe any organic fertilizer pellets which I would see if they had applied it. I immediately called and spoke to someone at Lush Lawn and expressed my dissatisfaction. I was informed that they no longer call and only send emails. I checked my email and did not receive a notice. When I verified the email address, they sent it to a wrong address, of which I did not provide to them. I asked to have a supervisor call me and never received a call back. I received a second bill and again called and was told that a supervisor would have to call and that they could not waive the bill even though the service that they provided was wrong. Same with the third bill. Now I have a collection notice. They are unwilling to provide any support or adjust the bill or reapply the correct product. Obviously, there is nothing that could be done about the chemical application and one of the dogs had to go to the vet after being on the lawn two days later. I feel that it is inappropriate for them to expect payment for a product that I specifically objected to and did not apply the correct product as per our agreement. I received a notice from Universal Credit Services on 7/17/20 as they have sent the bill to collections. I contacted the credit company as directed and was told that they could do nothing about it. I was told that I would have to pay the bill and try to get my money back from Lush Lawn. This clearly would not happen because I could not even get a return call from them to address my dissatisfaction at the time of the improper service. I subsequently filed a complaint with the Revdex.com.

I just had a bad experience with Lush Lawn I only ordered one application for weed and crabgrass but they did the second application and charge me for it. During this time I noticed weed and crabgrass growing in my yard and I reported this after their second application and when they came out they made swirls all over my yard ith their truch and there was still weed and grass left in my yard. call my cell phone and my house phone requesting payment. I tried to work things out with them but they would not cooperate so I just paid them and told them to cancel my service I strongly do not recommend this service to anyone

Regarding Ms. complaint, we have the following response. Ms. has been a customer of Lush Lawn since May of 2018. In 2018 she requested Round 1 treatment, but it was past the time it could be applied effectively, and a round 2 treatment was scheduled. Each year since, Lush Lawn has provided her with the same service, Rounds 1 and 2 of lawn care treatments. These treatments are respectively 1) Pre-emergent weed and crabgrass control and granular fertilizer, and 2) Fertilizer and blanket-spraying of weed control. Her program renewed in 2019 and 2020 for the same treatments.

In 2020 we applied these treatments to her yard on 3/12/2020 and 5/20/2020, which completed her services for 2020. On 6/22/2020 she contacted us regarding excessive weeds and crabgrass on her property. Even though our guarantee is for customers who purchase a full, not a partial, treatment program, we scheduled a service call and performed and additional weed control treatment on the property at no additional charge to her on 7/1/2020. On 7/13/2020 she spoke us us and requested that we cancel service for her in the future, to which we complied.

We feel that the treatments were applied properly and per our agreement with her. As such we do not feel that a refund is justified.

Company stole my money and won’t refund it. I try to contact them and they are avoiding me. Been over 30 days.

I now have to make a claim with my bank to get a refund. No service was ever provided to me. I signed up online. Canceled the next day.

Buyer beware.

Thank you for leaving a review for us. I would like apologize for a couple of problems we caused. First, was the spring aeration/overseeding. We don't do overseeding in the spring because pre-emergent treatments put down after the service will prevent the grass seed from germinating. It was an error on our website that allowed you to place an online order - we've since fixed that, and for that I'm sorry. Regarding your refund, I confirmed today that it has been processed and will be in the mail to you. It shouldn't have taken us that long to fill out a form and send it through to be processed, but it did and I'm sorry. I hope that we can work with you in the future. We do a good job in the field, I'm sorry that we didn't get a chance to prove it to you.

We hired Lush Lawn to treat our yard earlier in the year. They had been coming out to our house each month, providing their service, and sending us the bill. We were paying the bill each month without question, but was perplexed with seeing lack of improvement in our lawn. Then in Oct, we just so happened to be at the house when the Lush Lawn worker come out to provide the monthly service. Unbeknownst to him, we were watching him from our windows and were flabbergasted with what we witnessed. The weed/feed service we were supposed to receive includes two parts: an application of pellets/seeds and then the lawn is to be sprayed. However, what we witnessed was a very shoddy application of the pellets/seeds, just haphazardly random throwing of a mere couple handfuls of pellets/seeds which in no means provided a thorough/adequate coverage of the lawn. As for the spay treatment, the worker got on his motorized vehicle that holds the tank with the spray solution. I watched him try to drive onto the lawn, but due to the street curb on one side and a lining of rocks on another side of the lawn, he was not able to get onto the lawn. At which point, he drove this spray vehicle back into his trailer. I was expecting to see him don a spray tank on his back and shoulders and walk around the yard to apply the spray. But, he didn’t. He just drove away.

The ”service” we witnessed was so incredibly poor and such a waste of money that I immediately called Lush Lawn’s office and voiced a complainant and have also cancelled our service with them. However, despite this absolutely poor service treatment on at least the day we watched (nothing saying that each month’s service wasn’t also this poor, which explains why we didn’t see improvement in our lawn), Lush Lawn still says we owe them for the service provided that day. I told them the service was too poor to justify payment. However, they insist the service was fine and that payment is owed. They have been absolutely harassing us for payment, calling and mailing invoices incessantly. Now, they say they are going to report me to a collection agency for this payment.

Unfortunately we didn’t look at Lush Lawn’s ratings on Google prior to hiring their services. But, with this harassment from them, I have since looked at their ratings. Sure enough, the comments I read from many are very similar to what we have experienced. Poor service, poor quality, and harassment.

I am sharing this with you to make you aware of Lush Lawn. Stay away from them. They are horrible.

Lush Lawn did service for me this year and did a service that I did not ask for and charged me a additional $83 on top of my monthly service. I called to get it taken off and finally was given a chance to pay half for a service that I did not authorize. Now Lush Lawn is calling and emailing me everyday for $83 after we already came to an agreement for me to pay for a service that I did not ask for. Beware of Lush Lawn I will never use there service again. The employees are trying to make extra money by adding Unauthorized services.

The service was $80 and you agreed to pay half. Once we receive payment we will removed the remaining balance on the account, and you will no longer receive notifications about the balance due. My husband gave his credit card to you so that a payment of $40 can be taken off of his card.

Zero stars would be more appropriate. Terrible work ethic. Would call, would show if it is a payable service. But when it came to reseeding which would be a free service would not show up. Would always say it's not the right time in the season for it so it never got done. But they kept coming out for fertilizer treatments and over fertilized the lawn. It looked absolutely terrible it was burned up! We went and purchased grass seeds put them down and watered everyday and brought the grass back ourselves. They do not care about their customers just want the money. Refuse to call back when messages are left. Many calls, many promises and no follow through. Should of read reviews before calling them. Got them from Fox 2 News they should take them off their list of referrals. Will never do business with them again will also put them on social media because it was so bad working with them just terrible, terrible company.

Thank you for stating responsibility for your actions. However it is very unfortunate that you are not accepting responsibility. You are asking for us to call you as a response to the claim that you had a remedy to your internal issue you claimed to have fixed. In my complaint I stated that you never returned my call. So how many times am I to call? Your response tells me that you have not fixed anything you should be reaching out to your customer not the other way around. I will not be calling you because you did not make me feel valued when I was trying to do business with your company and I don't feel valued now. I recommend folks do not do business with this company. Do not waste your time or money. A complete waste. You would think after all these complaints you would try to do better but you just don't get it so sad.

Lush Lawn technicians did not cover the entire property. They missed large areas that I was paying for. I paid for slit seeding, which was performed, but in the incorrect areas. The areas that were supposed to be done, the application was ineffective and this was confirmed by 3 service managers of Lush Lawn. During the slit seeding grass seed was spread in my gravel driveway, resulting in grass growing there. They did come out and do a driveway de-vegetation. The slit seeding was supposed to be redone in the fall, but was never completed. I am now being told that the service was effective and that I would have to pay for it. I have argued back and forth with COO Ken *** on this matter, but he refuses to acknowledge the large bare spots in my grass that were supposed to be taken care off by the slit seeding. During the summer I was constantly harassed by Lush Lawn to pay for the slit seed balance, even though I was told by them that that bill would be put on hold until the service could be re-done. During the summer I also paid for weed control and fertilization. I experience a large amount of crab grass, I call them out to look at it and they agreed it was not treated properly. Their fix for this was a crab grass post-emergence treatment with over seeding to take care of the newly created bare spots. They did that service, the crab grass went away, but when it was time for the over seeding I had to argue for it. The technician told me that aeration should be done in conjunction with the over seed, but because this was a "free" over seed, aeration would be extra. After arguing with them on multiple phone calls, they agreed to aerate at no charge. When the technician arrived, he did not aerate and then lied on my account saying that I refused it. When the oversee was done, again more grass seed was spread in my gravel driveway and patio this time. I have asked for another driveway de-vegetation, but have been told NO by Ken ***. During the summer I was also paying for perimeter pest control. I was told by the salesman that it would prevent all bugs from coming in the house and if a bees nest ever formed on the property they would come out and take care of it for free. Not only did I constantly find bugs in my basement, I also had a bees nest in the house. I called Lush Lawn about these items 4 times. The only thing they did was send someone out to do an extra application. The extra application did not fix anything. Lush Lawn has agreed to refund me 3 of the 6 applications, but that is not satisfactory. Recently we have also discovered the chemicals being used are not safe for pets, even after the recommended time to keep pets off the lawn after they were applied. Our dog lost most of its hair over the summer on her paws and face. We thought this was maybe allergy related, but could not get it to stop with changing food or bedding. It only stopped once Lush Lawn stopped their applications. Our dog did not have any of these same issues over the past 5 years. This was the first time we have ever seen it and it just so happens that this is the first time we have used Lush Lawn for this kind of service.

The owner of lush lawn refuses to send a revised invoice reflect the changes he offered. I do not trust their AR department to be honest about paying based on a verbal exchange. I am not saying that I am in acceptance of this resolution, but to be considered I require a revised invoice.

• On 9/3/2019, while aerating our lawn, the service person broke one of our sprinkler heads. I discovered this on 9/4.
• On 9/5 I called Lush Lawn and told them about the sprinkler head. She said the manager would come out in about 5 business days. No one came out.
• On 9/16 I called the office again and someone came out later that day, took the broken sprinkler head, said they would have to order the part and that the repair should be done within about a week. No one came out or called us after 9/16.
• On 10/11 I called and requested an update on the repair. A woman called me back and said they were reviewing the situation and someone would call me back within a couple days. No one called back.
• On 10/17 I called the office and spoke to Karen and she said she would put a call in to the service manager, Travis, to have him call me. No one called.
• On 10/21 I called the office and spoke to Becky and she said she would notify Travis to contact me. No one contacted me.
• On 10/23 I sent the company an email (on their website) explaining the issue and asking for help to resolve it. No one contacted me.
• On 10/24 I sent the company a text (on their website) requesting help to resolve this issue. No one contacted me.
• On 10/27 I sent the company a 2nd text (on their website) requesting help to resolve this issue. No one has contacted me.

Services don't work. Technicians do not cover entire areas if any at all. Guarantees given are worthless. Be aware, terrible company to work with. Avoid at all costs. When I originally inquired with them, I first received a quote and then all of a sudden they showed up to start working before I gave them the go ahead. That should have been my first sign to cancel. My yard looked better last year with no treatments. Perimeter pest control was completely ineffective. They did over seeding for free to make up for all the crab grass they didn't prevent and ended up filling my gravel drive with grass. Offered a driveway devegetation, but never showed up to do it. I have been on the phone with them every week all summer, total waste of time. Working on getting my money back currently.

After giving Lush Lawn a third time to fix our problems with them, they came out and Fertilized the neighbors lawn and put the bill in their mailbox. Needless to say that is so unacceptable, we canceled and requested a refund for services or some type of compensation, but they have not responded. Terrible and shocking!

The office staff is very polite but there are problems somewhere in the company. I am trying to oversees my lawn but to do that I need to have enough time for the seeds to grow prior to blowing out my sprinklers.

I prepaid for lunch lawn to aerate to help me with overseeing. I called them a month ago and asked if they could put a rush order so I could start my process. The response was absolutely and we'll be out within 5 business days. 14 days later I called and asked if they could come out as they haven't yet. The response, I'm sorry we haven't made it, yes within 3-5 business days.

Several days later I called and asked to speak to management as this was my 3rd attempt at getting someone out. They "sent" an email for me.

I called a week later since nothing was even scheduled and another email was "sent." I also requested a call back.

Day 31... Nothing yet... So now my story becomes permanent on Yelp, google, Facebook, yellow pages. And I'm going to dispute the charge with the credit card as this could very easily be a deceptive and fraudulent business practice.

I strongly don't recommend this company. They advertise decent prices but don't deliver on any front except being polite every time I spoke on the phone. I will give them credit for that.

I have contacted the company several times. I will update and Mark the issue as resolved if they refund me as they agreed to on a recorded line. I'm not going to hold my breath as they have lied on each of our interactions, but we'll see.

1 star is too much. Before you hire this company, research “lush lawn reviews” first and you will see, on multiple websites, how much negative feedback this company has received from consumers who hired them. This is the worst company and the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with.

I have a big problem with moss in my grass and they sold me a 6-treatment soil enrichment program to run over the course of the spring and summer, followed by aeration and over seeding between the end of August and early October..

Treatment 1 on April 25 was soil testing to help determine what my soil needed. I was told the results would be in within 2 weeks. However, I did not receive the soil sample results until the first week of September. I called them 7 times and sent 2 e-mails between early May thru the end of July to find out where my test results were. I was always told someone would look into it and they would get back to me. My calls were never returned and my e-mails went unanswered.

By the time I finally received the results in September, it was too late to do the 6 soil treatments, and the soil/moss problems in my yard are much worse now. Lush Lawn did not do the job they said they would, my yard is worse, I reached out to them 9 times over the summer to get the soil treatments back on track and they did not deliver. Ironically, in spite of all the they still expect me to pay for the soil testing.

They have been sending me notice after notice for weeks to demand payment for the soil test, $85. I do not believe Safari Tree can expect their customers to pay for the mistakes made by their employees. I would gladly have promptly paid for the test results if I had received them.

I have spoken with their accounts people and have provided them with a written detailed timeline of my calls to them and the lack of response. They still expect payment.

I pad Lush Lawn for Grub-Preventative application for my lawn on in July. They have never applied the service. I have asked for a refund but have not heard from them.

I was a customer of Lush Lawn for a full year and thought I was enrolled in their Extender Program as I was told by the sales person when signing up. It turns out I was actually enrolled in an a la carte program which I was ultimately billed more money for than the Extender Program. I was never told I was being enrolled in this different program and was under the impression that I was in the Extender Program and would be receiving those services. Since I was not in the program I signed up for, I never received grub treatment this summer and had a grub infestation which caused nearly 50% of my back yard to die and had to be ripped out and replaced with new sod. My yard has always been a pride point for me and was in great shape before using Lush Lawn. It looks terrible now. I've called multiple times per week for the past 3 weeks and keep being told that Kyle, the local manager, will call me back. He's yet to return my call and the company shows no interest in working with me, the customer, to make me happy. STAY AWAY!

One star too much. Please do not hire this company!
This is the worst company and the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I really wish now that I had researched reviews on Lush Lawn before I hired them. There are an unbelievable amount of people out there who have had bad experiences with Lush Lawn.

After one treatment for moles that didn’t work, I spoke to someone and asked to cancel. I also paid the bill even though I was dissatisfied. The came out twice more and have been hounding me for payment. I told their csr I would not pay for services I asked to cancel with 2 different people. This seems to be a pattern for this company and should be investigated. Please, trust me, stay away from them

1 star too much. After reading other reviews it sounds like we all have the same complaints. We were charged $300 and our yard looks as bad as it did before they said they came. We are currently fighting these charges. None of the work they said they did showed any results. We told them we would pay after each service was done again and we were home when they did it. A big no from them. We can not ever get a hold of them. Please do not go with this service. You will not get what you pay for. Shame on you Lush Lawn. Read these reviews and start doing right by people.

Fraud.
I wrote a review of them earlier in the summer stating we still had weeds and that I literally watched the guy enter the back yard, take the machine in about halfway to the lawn, then turnaround and leave. So, no wonder I have weeds. Today, I filmed the guy because I happen to be home. He brought the machine around the edge partway, then proceeded to leave. I filmed him as I tried to push the machine on the deck. As he began to destroy the brickwork I came out. I said, "Are you going to finish?" He said, "I did." I told him that I watched him do one row and leave to which he turned his back made the peace sign and left. I said, "But you didn't do it." He left.
They took my money upfront and have not delivered the product--on at least the two occasions that I happened to be home. I'm assuming it's the same every time given I have weeds. By definition this is fraud. I have video of the guy not doing this and I have pictures of all the weeds.

This company got the wrong address and went into my back yard and tore up my lawn all while no one was home. I did not ask for this service and am bothered by chemicals being put into my yard. They left the bill on my front door and when I opened the envelope it was addressed to a resident 3 blocks over.
