Lustine Chrysler Dodge Jeep Reviews (184)

Review: I was sold a [redacted] policy by my sales person in the amount of $995 and was told that the policy covered chipped windshields, scratches in paint, being locked out of the car, etc. I was also told that if I was not satisfied with the results, by both the sales person and by [redacted] the company that I just needed to call back and ask for a replacement. Unfortunately after a week of owning my vehicle I received a chip in my windshield. I filed a claim and it was not done to my satisfaction. I requested a new windshield and [redacted] later called me to tell me that a new windshield was not covered.

I called Lustine very upset, because at this point my paperwork had been incorrect, my payoff had not yet been received and I needed to make a new payment, and now services promised were incorrect. The GM told me he would get me a refund. This was March. It is now 5/21/2014. I have constantly had to call and re-call the GM requesting a follow up on the refund from [redacted]. The GM finally called me today to alert me that there would be no refund since I already had a claim. I said, you knew there was a claim. There's been a claim this whole time; that was the reason I called initially in March! He said he failed to understand that. So now, due to terrible business practices I have wasted my time, energy, and have been sold a faulty product. I wish I had never bought a Jeep. I wish I had never gone to Lustine. Please help me.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for the amount. It was a phony policy. They said they could refund me. It is not my fault that the sales person overpromised and the GM failed to understand my plight. I should not be out of the $995.

I am one of many that have tricked by their online prices. The dealer is posting online prices much lower than other dealers for the same exact price and then once there they tell you the car is not in stock and try to sell you another of the same type for thousands more. Please go to yelp and review the complaints.

My husband and I have had nothing but a horrible time at this jeep dealership. The customer service is VERY unprofessional. We bought our car a month ago, and our sales rep told my husband to fill out a survey, which he did and he gave him an HONEST survey. Couple days later that sales rep called him and asked him why we didn't give him all tens. Which I found highly inappropriate.. My husband then told him why we gave him what we did, and then told him we settled for the car we got after another sales rep told my husband they had the car we wanted.. Fast forward to today we are here trying to get our tags, and there was a problem..everyone I spoke to was nothing but rude. Even th customer service people I tried to speak with about the issue. Mrs. L[redacted] who was in charge of this process refused to speak with me or my husband and sent other people to talk with us instead, which is ridiculous. Fianlly someone with a half bit of common sense was able to help us get our tag. I will never buy another car from this dealership again, or recommend anyone to come here.

Review: When I purchased our Dodge [redacted] in November of 2013 the on duty sales manager verbally agreed to include a 60,000 mile regular maintenance service package in the deal. The service package would be linked to my VIN number and would be good at Dodge dealership throughout the country. During the purchase process and for a few days afterwards I continually requested that I receive something in writing about the service package and I was either ignored or told that I would be receiving something in the mail. I received a number of items regarding the warranty, information about the car, etc. that I assumed included the maintenance package information. When I took my car in for servicing about three weeks ago to the dealership closest to my home, they informed me that no maintenance package was linked to my VIN. I contacted Lustine and the customer service rep that I spoke to said that they would give me a 20,000 service package. I informed her that this was not what was agreed to. I then began an email chain with the finance officer that I purchased my car with. She told me that she would look into the matter further. For the past 10 ten days I have not heard anything form her despite having sent multiple emails.Desired Settlement: I would like that Lustine honor their original agreement of the 60K maintenance package for my automobile. This was a pretty big deciding factor in purchasing the car that night and it seems like a bait and switch to verbally agree to something like this to close a deal. It isn't a proper or ethical sales practice.

Response:

If [redacted] has a written agreement for the 60,000 mile maintenance plan we absolutely will honor it. All agreements we have are in righting and there is no way for us to validate any verbal agreements.
