We purchased a 10/Summer Accents umbrella and your company delivered a 10/canopy Part # TRK [redacted] *** The canopy attaches to the umbrella with velcro, however there is no velcro at the corners so when put up the canopy all corners have openings which let in all the bugs We have tried various ways of putting this up but without velcro at the corners we think this problem cannot be resolved Is there anything that can be done through your company to resolve this problem? I purchased a vrienden umbrella and after years of moderate use the crank completely stripped and had to be replaced at a cost of $ The canopy was completely bleached out during the second year This is not a quality product and the company will not go beyond year warranty Spend a few extra dollars and buy something that will last more than a year

We purchase this umbrella with the understanding it was sturdy It blew over on people and twisted the frame so it can not even be used anymore
We do not want a new one being that the one we purchased did not stand up to the salesmen's quarantees This was not a cheap item We are also concerned about injuries caused to people sitting under the umbrella when it fell It was properly installed All claims are that it is the toughest frame of any umbrella, this is not true

We purchased a 10xVrienden umbrella at the Branson Home Show in February Steve was the sales rep We asked how high of wind velocity the umbrella could stand and Steve said 40mph He told us the umbrellas are popular in Alaska and withstood lots of wind We received the umbrella in due time and put it on our deck We chose to bolt the staff to the deck rather than use paving blocks We had discussed this with Steve and he saw no problem with permanently bolting the frame to the deck When we used the umbrella for the very first time, a gust of wind caught the umbrella, twisted the shaft and broke the mounting tabs We immediately checked the wind velocity on our weather station and the wind was 12mph So much for withstanding winds at 40mph We contacted the sales rep, Steve, and sent him pictures He said he would forward the pictures to the company office, which he did Jerrid ***, at the company office, responded by email that they do not warrant against wind, only electrical/mechanical defects He offered to sell us replacement parts but no refund
