Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The trim on my car had NO previous chipping, and the rubber is still soft and pliable, not at all brittle as the employee from Maaco contendsA few days after picking my car up from Maaco, a piece of trim lifted up at one end while I was on the highwayAfter arriving home, I walked around my car and noticed the pieces of trim on the front driver and passenger sides jutting out and lifted up at one endMy car may be years old, but it has been taken extremely well care of and has very low mileage For the Maaco employee to claim that the damage was caused by an automatic car wash is untrue, as I do not use automatic car washes, and I attested to that fact while speaking to him in MarchFor him to reiterate that information is absurdIf he did not agree with me while examining my car in March, then why did he attempt to repair the trim that was lifting up and out? He would have told me at that time that they weren't responsible for any damage to trimIt also clearly states on the contract that there is a "limited lifetime warranty" for any trim removed and any area's "masked off" are covered by a full one year warranty or a two year prorated warrantyWhy is Maaco refusing to stand behind their warranty? I was told by [redacted] upon completion of my vehicle that the color was matched to the inside of the door jambI have documents from a third party merchant as to the variance in the color that they painted my vehicleAt no time was I told that they could not match the original Toyota factory colorPlease tell me where to mail in the documents from the third party merchant, as well as the original contract with Maaco, and I will do soThese will support my claims against Maaco Sincerely, [redacted]

[redacted] states he is unhappy with the color of the vehicle.RESPONSE - [redacted] was given an option to purchase BMW FACTORY PAINT and said NO due to cost and in his words " I am just selling the car" Kameran was adamant to purchase our least expensive and economy level paint to maximize his profits on the sale of his vehicle THEREFORE THE COLOR IS CLOSE BUT NOT EXACT [redacted] states the clearcoat is peeling off and the car has just been sitting parked.RESPONSE - THIS PAINT DOES NOT HAVE CLEARCOAT ON THE TOP LAYEROur economy level SINGLE STAGE ENAMEL paint does not have clearcoat on topIt is impossible for the clearcoat to peel off becuase there is none That is not how economy paint works [redacted] states he wants his car repainted with PREMIUM FACTORY PAINT AND CLEARCOAT.RESPONSE - [redacted] Was given the option to upgrade his paint and have his car repainted by Maaco at no charge for labor - OR accept a $discount off his final billKameran chose to take the $discount and resigned a contract that the car will be accepted as is and that he is happy with the paint and the results- this case was resolved, signed by customer and accepted on those termsI will be happy to provide a copy of the final invoice of $and the agreement if necessary - KAMERANS AMOUNT OF $IS COMPLETELY FABRICATED AND I HAVE THE CREDIT CARD SLIPS,SIGNATURES AND AGREEMENT TO PROVE IT NOTE - [redacted] SAYS HE WANTS HIS CAR PAINTED IN OUR PREMIUM TOP OF THE LINE BASECOAT/CLEARCOAT PAINT AND PRIMER - - THE PRICE DEFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE PAINTS IS $- WE OFFERED THIS OPTION FOR 200$ MORE TO [redacted] AND WE WOULD COVER THE ADDITIONAL LABOR AND EXPENSES NO CHARGE - KAMERAN DECLINED, TWICE.- [redacted] ACCEPTED A $DISCOUNT INSTEAD OF THE UPGRADE AND HAPPILY SIGNED AND ACCEPTED THE CAR [redacted] CAR IS NOW FOR SALE ON CRAIGSLIST WHERE HE BRAGS ABOUT THE PAINT JOB AND IT READS AS FOLLOWS:my grandpa owned this for many years always kept up and maintainedClear coat and some dings and dents is the reason for a paint jobit looks like a brand new car nowAll recent preventive maintenance that has been done-transmission fluid and filter -coming system -ngk spark plugs -valve cover gasket & grommets -brakes -Guibo (drive shaft coupling) Runs great, transmission shifts very smooth and reliablethere is not a single ding/chip/or dent anywhere on the bodyGreat first car or add to your collection-LSD -Heated seats -MFront bumper ( I have clear fog lights to put in still) - Fresh paint completed about weeks ago.($- have receipts) -Interior has very little signs of wearno big rips or tearsor cracks in the dashthe only flaw on the interior is the sunroof headliner sags a little$oboSorry pics aren't the best quality and my garage is very dirty lolwill send more detailed pics to serious inquiresThank you!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below On 8/I had both verbal and written communications with the General Manager of Poco Verde regarding a resolution to my complaintHe came up with a written punch list of items to be addressedThe following week the superintendent came out to discuss the punch list items, and I was surprised to learn that he didn't even know about one of the items on the listHe did complete item on the list that day (leaving 3), and he was supposed to come back later in the week to complete more items, with the last item being a "different crew." The superintendent never came back, or even calledAnd the "different crew" never showed eitherI was willing to withdraw my complaint with the Revdex.com if Poco Verde would have just followed through with the punch list items and completed them to my satisfaction, but as of 9/12/15, this is not the case Regards, [redacted]

All items were resolved on September with a meeting, repairs and palm tree replacement

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/09/25) */ Mr [redacted] did bring his car in for a paint serviceWe were extremely busy and had been informing our customers that it may be weeks or longerAfter the car was painted as Mr [redacted] requested, he asked that we paint his hood differentlyWe did that for him He did bring the car back for some overspray issuesWe did buff the areas he pointed out with no problems to the paint He brought the car back again and pointed out other spots, We did take care of those, As for the headlight wiper, it was clearly broken prior to us having the car, it was obvious that his was broken for some time and someone tried to put electrical tape on it We have corrected the issues with his vehicle and therefore, there is no need to repaint Pictures we have of the vehicle when it was dropped off show that Mr [redacted] did his own bodywork, that the car was full of scratches and gouges, moldings were bent and parts had been replacedIf there are issues in the areas where his bodywork is, there id no warranty as I cannot guarantee his work I feel we have addressed all issues wit this car

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/21) */ We have been painting for this Used Car Lot for over a year with no problemsThey brought this car to us on June 17thIt was a busy day and they just left the key on the deskWhen we went out to move the car to the back lot, it would not startWe contacted them about the fact that it wouldn't startIt sat in front of our shop for weeks before they decided to do anythingThey came out and said our jump box was not good and tried to jump it with their own while our salesperson sat in the car and tried to start itThen he said it needed a new batteryHe didn't come back until Thursday, July 9thI gave him thekey so he could start the carHe came in and said the starter was bad and he would replace itA few minutes later he came in and said to just push the car around because he didn't have time to fix it At that point I told him there would be a charge to push the car since I would have to take people off the production line to push it at each stationIt is a VERY heavy carHe just said to get it painted He came on July to pick up the carTwo of us pushed it to the front of the shop from the back lot After a few minutes, he asked me to come outside and look at the vehicleThe rocker panels were not paintedIt was our mistake and I offered to fix the issue for himAt first he said okIt was at that point that he said we lost the key for the car that had the chip in it to start it This was the first time anything about a second key was mentionedHe said he drove the car to our shop with the key and it was on the same key ring that the other key was on, We only had one keyAt NO OTHER time did he EVER mention a second keyWe even gave him the key we had to try to start the car I then asked him to please check if he might have taken it with him back to the shop as there was no other key on the key ringWe would have no reason to remove it let alone lose it After a while, he apparently decided not to let us fix the problem with the paintHe left and came back about minutes later and drove the car awayI guess he found the key He never said anything else to me about the car and now he has the audacity to demand a refund and key replacement? I think he owes me an apology

The paint service she selected was the special we had packaged upAbout $of service for $She also had some clear coat peeling off that required extra prepThe paint service was for the single stage UrethaneWe take the paint code from the vehicle and enter it into the [redacted] computer systemThis will generate a formula for the colorIt is mixed and sprayedSometimes single stage paint will be a shade off but on an overall the entire car is being painted so all panels still matchIf we do spot painting on collision work we use the high dollar Base/Clear paint service along with a camera color matching systemThe molding that this customer is complaining about were not taken off the car when it was paintedWe do remove molding on low cost single stage paint services unless it is requested by customer and there is a chargeThey are mask around before paintingThe rubber on the belt molding is chipping off in a few places due to the fact that the car is years old and the rubber has dried out and is brittleThe customer go through the automatic car wash and the brushes can cause this kind of damageIf it had been a piece of her car we had worked on and we damaged it I would be more than happy to repair or replace itIn this case we didn’t do any work to her moldingAs for the paint color it’s out of our control to get an exact match all we can go by is the [redacted] computer system.Complaint# [redacted]

To whom it may concern;As per your request, please accept this as a formal response to the above mentioned complaint numberThe complaint is not backed up by any evidence! All the services, paint and rust removal that were promised on the estimate, were performed completely and to the customers satisfaction The complaint is that the paint job is "awful" Awful, is just an opinion, not evidence of services not being performed I have a receipt signed by the customer and pictures of the final product which I am attaching to this email [redacted] stated that he did not trust us installing the pin stripe on his vehicle He stated that it needs to go under the clear coat, installed in the booth while the car is being painted! We explained to him numerous times and encouraged him to ask other paint shops how pin stripes are installed because we don't pin strip cars in the booth while getting painted We did not charge him to install the pinstripe or remove the old pin stripes, we only charged him $for the cost o the stripes The stripes are installed on top of the paint after cars are painted His pin stripes are still at our shop, he's welcome to pick them up.He brought the car with completely failed break system and accused us of wearing out his breaks Then he accused us of sleeping in his car since the seat was moved back His car was delivered to us from another shop where they removed the leather top and upon delivery a note was left on the wind shield to be careful of driving this vehicle, since it had no breaks! We brought that to the customers attention and his response was that we must have worn out his breaks!Maaco corporate has a phenomenal, outstanding relationship with Maaco customers and was rated one of the top franchises when it comes to customer service in the past years, by [redacted] and other associations I cannot speak for Maaco corporate but since they are mentioned in the complaint regarding our services, in their defense I must add that if the customer provided them with no evidence other than his opinion of awfulness which is contrary to the facts, pictures and receipt, if they "blew him off" its not because of any reason other than a complaint that is not valid!We charged him to paint his car and repair rust in certain areas, as described on the estimate We did not charge him to stripe his car which we also did free of charge.As far as the landscaping guy, fake spraying weed, Im not sure what to say about that! There 3-different businesses on this property and there are landscaping services being performed at different times, I cannot order them to not spray weed, or make sure they do their job to ***'s satisfaction!!! [redacted] signed a receipt when he picked up his vehicle stating that he has inspected his car and is satisfied with the services and the shop has completed the services on the repair order (a copy is attached for your review)SincerelyMaaco [redacted]

Mrs. [redacted] 's windshield has been replaced at no charge to her, from the start of the conversation I ( [redacted] ) explained to her that we had no problem replacing the glass. I called [redacted] to find out what the problem was and it turned out to be just a misunderstanding of what I said. Mrs.... [redacted] is happy now with a new glass and a new paint job, I left a message for her to follow up with me about her glass replacement and she has not returned my call. Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/06/02) */ Customer originally brought his vehicle in on March 9 for paint only. It was noted on his repair order that the car was in primer and no warranty was offered. The paint was finished on March 11 and he paid for it and picked it up on March 13. He... came back a few days later with some issues. Some of the problems were attributable to his bodywork but we agreed to address the problem. I also sanded the bubbles on his car that another shop told him was water in the paint gun, but it was just his bodywork reacting with our products. we have no control over this as we did not do any of the bodywork, that is why we offer no warranty. He dropped the car off on April 27. During the repair process, it was noted that the bubbling in the bodywork was a problem and he was shown the issue while the car was still at the shop. We did address the problems he outlined and he picked the car up on May 29. Customer came in on Monday, June 1 complaining that the car is now in worse shape than before. I asked him to bring it by and I would look at it. Instead he decided to put in a complaint and I have no idea what the problems are. I am attaching a copy of his signed work order for the original paint where it clearly states NO WARRANTY, and also the work order for the issues I agreed to repair. I have worked for this customer before and that is why I tried to accommodate him with the paint problems since he has been very easy to get along with,

owner *** has a very good concept in how his conducts his business"Honesty" which
goes a long way when someone is concerned about a moving company they have not dealt with beforeI have been burned and like most people read the reviews before doing business
with a company with a bad reputation*** was straight up over the phone and sold me without even having to come to my houseIn other words there are still some good guys out there!!!Thanks Bagby MovingI will use them again in the futureMy move was Wednesday 9-06-

Miss *** did leave her car for repairs at our shopShe also paid to do a full color changeWe did repairs to the dent on her right front doorThe attached pictures show the dent we did repair onIf there was another dent in the bottom of
the door she did not indicate she wanted repairs for thatWe also repaired scratches on her left front and rear doorsShe has other damage around the car that she did not indicate she wanted repaired
As for the engine undershield, when she came back to the shop and showed us the part which was in pieces in her trunk, it was plainly evident that this part had been hit and scraped numerous times prior to it being in our shopPaint embedded in the scratches indicate that the part was indeed on her car when it went through the painting processSince we do not have any areas where the shield may have been hit, and since we did not do any work under her car, the fact that the shield fell of is more than likely due to wear and tear
Any damage to the underside of her car is from the shield coming off and not caused by anything we did or did not do
We did no repairs to her trunk button as we do not repair or replace any interior parts

I purchased two separate CPAP machines from companies that sell their Machines and service their machines through their service department*** *** has been billing company, one machine purchased through *** *** *** *** now closed an the newest one through *** *** *** *** ***Both machines broke after covered period but before insurance allows for replacement causing me to have to have the machines repaired or replaced at personal costI had the machines repaired and both repair statements seem to suggest a faulty productI was directed to make actual complaint to Respironics who informed me that the complaint was registered and I would have to wait to see if the repaired unit breaks before any action is indicated on their behalfI am now out of pocket for second repair and the first repair two years ago was that I also paid for out of pocket
