We have received the new window and, contacted the homeowner via Email to arrange a date and time to install new materials

The response sent by Mid City Roofing, was in saying that I was satisfied after installation, especially since I was at work until after 6pmAlso, the company did not say whether or not they would attempt to charge me for the correction in that last statementSince our last correspondence through Revdex.com, the company did call at around 8AM, this morning, July 5th, stating there will be no additional charges and the labor will be completed once the correct items arrive within 2-weeks

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by Mad City in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that their response to be accurateI nonetheless stand by my initial complaint that the contracted completion date of March 10, has elapsed, so far, by days, and I am thus far dissatisfied with our experience with Mad City and the Valley Brook window product sold to us Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Please, once again this complaint has been closed prematurelyIf you read the messages Mad City Windows said that they had the information from the their install for the correct window When their technician arrived, he did not have any window with himI have pictures of his vehicle and what was in the the car and in the bed of his truck.MadCity did call and I did advise that I would be out of country for a year, however I stated that they should call me as soon as they have the windows and I will have someone at the house when ever they are readyPlease see the attached emailThis is again MadCity not for filling their warranty agreement and useing delay tactics Regards, [redacted]

Refund of $is not sufficient Mad City had ordered different windows than we requested They did not notify us of any changes and ordered the windows and installed them They feel that it is no big deal of this change and that we should just accept it We have asked Mad City to do right and remove these windows and refund us the full amount, Mad City refused to remove the windows If handled properly and we were made aware of the change we may have not ordered these windows We feel that we have been wronged and that Mad City is forcing us to accept their mistake In addition, we were told approximately months ago that new sashes were going to be ordered and that they would fix the windows that they agreed were faulty Nothing has been done to date and this still does not fix the problem of them switching the window order and not informing us of any changes Why should we be forced to accept whatever Mad City says?

The customer in this case attempted to cancel the order well past the final rescission date citing the reasons as going into foreclosure and a divorceOn 6/the cancellation was attempted however the custom product was already manufactured and being shippedThe customer was informed of this at this timeAll of the contracts for this project clearly state WHITE and nothing shows BROWN in terms of the color of the windows so this is a completely invalid complaintWe went back out to settle the disagreement with the customer and graciously provided another discount on the project for them so we could move forward in an amicable mannerThe customer agreed and we proceeded to set up an installation dateOn the day of installation the installer showed up and the customer then asked to see the windowsUpon seeing the windows the customer then announced they were supposed to be Brown and told the installers to leaveThe customer then proceeded to go into the home and came back out with a shotgun in hand per the installer along with large dogs in a threatening mannerThis complaint is very old and the financing company has already sided with us as the customer was well past the rescission date, the paperwork was correct and we attempted to resolve the issues the best we couldIt is a rarity that a customer cancels their project well after the product has been delivered

Customer ordered a new French doorWas installed 8/16/Customer was upset that the new door did not come with a screen doorThe screen door was not on contract so there was not one orderedI offered her to install a new screen door at Mad City Windows expense to make her happyShe wanted this along with a large discount I explained that She could have one or the other but not both as we were giving her free materialsThere was a small flaw in her glass which was within industry standards but due to the level of frustration the customer expressed we replaced them at no cost to herMy field manager did make a human mistake and ordered the wrong size screen doors which we have on order and will be installing as soon as they come in

Mad CIty Windows installed windows for this customer on 6-30-16. The job was completed to the customers satisfaction without any service. On this morning of 7-1-16 the customer called our front desk stating that she was to have grids in the glass of her windows. Our front desk pulled up a copy of... the customers contract and informed them that the grid option had been declined. This can be seen in the copy of the contract that we have attached to this response. The grid section clearly shows that the option was rejected as all boxes are marked with a big (X) and the word (NO). During the conversation with our front desk this morning the customer asked that someone higher up look at and discuss this with her. Unfortunately before management could discuss the concern and contact the customer this complaint had already been filed. Although the contract clearly states that Mad City provided the customer with the exact product that was signed for, we do value all of our customers and are willing to give the customers the new replacement parts/glass with grids as requested. The grids will be colored white inside and colored white outside. The pattern will be colonial which is a square box pattern. The service parts will arrive at Mad City within 2 to 4 weeks at which time we will contact the customer to set a service appointment to change out the glass.

Mad city is contacting the customer to schedule a service call so that we can investigate the condensation concern

Again we have the following facts:There was no Bucks promotion going on at the timeNo Bucks tickets existed at the time Nothing is on contract regarding Bucks TicketsThe rep in question denies stating anything about Bucks Tickets and has never had any such instance or similar instance at any time during his employmentFinally we are talking several months later after the sale date in questionIf any of the above were not the case this may be different however in this there is nothing to go off that there was any Bucks Tickets as part of the agreement or promotion applied for this project.Regards,Mad City Windows

Mad City has scheduled an appointment for 7-15-to have a manager visit the customer and go over the concerns that they have expressed

To Whom It May Concern,Our previous response on this matter is very clear and concise; we are not going to simply install additional windows at no costWe visited with the homeowner, settled on a reduced project because of the financing shortfall, explained the terms and conditions, left copies of the contract and installed the productIf this was an issue this should have been dealt with at that time or shortly thereafter not several months laterShe did in fact pick something out, that is why we have the paperwork showing thisIf the trim isn't what she likes we may be willing to remedy the trim however the contract was installed as it was signed off by her to do the windows that were agreed uponWe did not simply "show up" as is stated hereWe came to the home for a change order and 3-weeks later came back for the installationAgain at this point we are more than willing to address any service issues or warranty issuesWe are also willing to offer the additional windows at a substantial previous customer discountWe can be contacted at ###-###-#### for either one of these areas; sales or serviceIt is completely unprecedented to for us to simply install the windows at no costThis is several months after the fact at this point and appears to simply be a case of someone attempting getting something for nothingSimply repeating that someone was taken advantage of does not make it so; there is no evidence that anyone was taken advantageUnless a person has power-of-attorney over a person we nor any other company are going to discriminate based on someone's age or not allow them to make a buying decisionWe have no record of her calling us stating that she was confused nor any of her family members calling usThe options were presented and she chose what she wanted, this is all in writing and in black and whiteRegards, [redacted]
