Terrible company. Completely wasted our time. Said they could install a fence in our back yard without drilling into our decking material. The day they came to do the install they said they would have to drill into our decking material and that they did not have the main brackets made to install the fence and they said it would take 2-3 days to make them. After weeks of calling them to figure out when they were going to come back to install they said they were waiting to hear back from us about what they wanted them to do even though we told them multiple times exactly what we wanted. To make things even worse we had to call for a week asking for our deposit back. When they finally said they were going to send the refund on the deposit they ended up charging us a second time for the deposit amount and we had to call back again to get both deposits refunded. They did end up refunding both deposits.

We went to install the fence on the stated installation date with the material that was contracted. The contract clearly stated that the posts would be flanged to the patio. There is no way to install 30' of fence over a patio without setting any posts, it is impossible. The crew left the job and told the customer to call when they decided what they wanted to do. The deposit was refunded back in full and we did not charge the 20% restocking fee that is on the contract. Custom material was ordered and welded, a crew of three was sent to install, and costly time was wasted, we ate those costs and still ended with a bad review.

Extremely poor quality. Stain missing, nails sticking out, cracked boards, crooked/jagged cuts, chunks of wood missing out of the boards, some boards not nailed. Fence was not installed where it was suppose to be and had to be moved. Owner agreed to fix the above mentioned issues at that time, but did not.

We will not refund or remove fence for Ginny. She has refuted charges with her credit card and has not paid for an installed fence. Customer was not happy with the style or placement of where the association made them install the fence. This customer decided that they did not want a fence AFTER it was installed. The fence was installed correctly and looks nice. If there is warranty work that needs completed we will take care of that once the balance is paid.

We refuted the initial down payment of $1400 with our credit card company only after Mr. S did not take care of the warranty issues that he agreed to fix from the initial install and would not return any phone calls from us. The remaining $2800 he did receive. We never once stated we were not happy with the “style” of the fence. In fact, we love the style of the fence. As for the placement of the fence, it was incorrectly placed by Mr. S’s workers the first time, which he admitted to when he came out after the initial install to go over our concerns. This had nothing to do with where the association made us place the fence. The back fence line should have been placed back 2’ further than it was, according to our agreement. Mr. S said that the workers probably did that because they would have had to cut an 8’ section of fence. This way it looked “cleaner”. In their effort to make it look cleaner, they literally placed it up against a tree in our back yard. Because the fence had to be moved back anyway and to make things easier, we agreed to pay for (2) more eight foot sections of fence. Mr. S said that would be fine and he would not charge us for them. It was also incorrectly placed on the East property line. We agreed to leave it there provided we would not run into issues with our HOA. Please refer to the attached correspondence regarding that issue. We never one time decided we did not want a fence. All we wanted was a quality job, which we did not receive. We took Mr. S for his word that he would take care of the following items as we discussed after the initial install:
1. Both gates to be replaced.
Only one gate was replaced and looks as bad as the original one.

2. Stain missing in several places.
Still many places missing stain. In fact, your workers upon leaving said “we will be back to finish because we ran out of stain”.

3. Back fence line to be moved back, as it was improperly placed according to our agreement.
Completed.

4. Several cracked boards to be replaced.
None replaced.

5. Boards sticking out because they weren’t nailed.
Not fixed.

6. Nails sticking out in many places.
Not fixed.

7. Caps on posts to be removed and replaced as they were on crooked.
Completed, but now some are damaged.

8. Clean up of area. Pieces of wood, big chunks of dirt left in the yard. One worker wiped his muddy boots off on our tree ring and left it there.
Tree ring was cleaned up, but still debris left in yard.

The crew was sent back to complete all issues for Mrs.. They were short some material and said they would be back to complete the minor details. The next morning we received a chargeback from Mrs. credit card.

They are asking for a refund of $4200 when they have only paid for $2800 of the total. I will not give any refund for the fence.

First they wanted a full refund and now they are asking for minor work to be completed. I have no issue completing any warranty work once the balance is paid in full with check or cash.

After the initial install, we paid Mr. S in full. We took him for his word that he would take care of all the warranty issues as we discussed. On March 24th, Mr. S’s crew showed up to address the issues. They moved the back fence line, replaced one gate and removed and replaced the post caps. The gate they replaced looks as bad if not worse than the first one (see attached pictures). I spoke with one of the workers about why they were not replacing the second gate and he said he knew nothing about it and that he would need to talk to the owner. Several of the post caps became damaged during the removal. Instead of using new caps they used the same ones that they had to beat off with a hammer. At this point, I called my husband to come home from work to deal with the situation. He called Mr. S on his way home and left a message asking him to come to the job site. Mr. S never returned the phone call and did not show up. The crew packed up and told my husband that they ran out of stain and would be back. They never returned. We tried reaching out to Mr. S again. No answer and no return call. At that point, I filed a dispute with my credit card company in the amount of $2800. On Sunday, March 26th I sent Mr. S an email telling him how disappointed we were in not only the final product, but his lack of customer service. I also informed him that we had filed a dispute with our credit card company for $2800, which was denied because we used a courtesy check instead of the actual credit card. I requested a full refund and removal of the fence. On Monday, March 27th I filed a dispute with my credit card company for the initial deposit of $1400. They pulled back the funds and gave Mr. S the opportunity to respond. After 90 days with no response, the case was closed. We are not asking for minor work to be completed and have not changed our mind about wanting a full refund. Mr. S had been paid in full when his crew came out to complete the warranty work. This work was not completed and Mr. S would not return calls.

Wonderful company to work with! They installed a 4 ft picket style fence around 200 ft on our corner lot in half a day! Best prices around and took the time to answer all of our questions and show us examples of past projects.
