This repair would need to be done at a Ford dealershipThe defect is behind the lens, and I would assume that might be why there is a small amount of moisture in this lightThese Ford dealerships have been denying the repair because there is an acceptable amount of moisture in the lens ??" its within their acceptable standardsIf a Ford service representative inspected the light, they may be willing to goodwill the part to keep the customer happy

We finally got the bank to approve the lease for this customer.? She has come in to take delivery of the new vehicle and is driving it as we speak.? Joe Basil Chevrolet did make good on the offer for the veteran contest

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Regards,
I do not accept this because I should have been told before I took the test drive and l also had to go back to the dealer a second time to fill out a slip and was not told by the a second sales man that I would not receive it
[redacted]

I have a letter from NYSERDA stating that my car would have qualified for this rebate had the dealership filed the necessary paperwork at the point of saleIt is really a shame that a huge dealership like Basil's would not at least attempt to remedy this situation? Upon first contacting them, the manager chose to deny any wrongdoing and try to swindle me by saying that they gave me a bigger discount instead of the NYSERDA rebate? As to their claim of the $15,discount I received, half of that was a federal tax credit for electric vehicles that had nothing to do with the dealership? The remaining amount was a Chevy rebate and a discount for the vehicle having 2,miles on itAs to the date on the Dealer Implementation Guide being past the point of sale, I would argue that the timeframe was still within the allowable time to apply for this rebateTherefore, that excuse is invalidAfter spending around $33,at this dealership, it is very disappointing that they refuse to at least apologize for costing me $1,?

A full refund of the truck.?

Consumer called, I have not received the promised card as of yetMy calls there are passed along and I get the run around.?

I will have him removed from our customer maintenance system.? Steve [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below? The response of Joe Basil is very, very, very disrespectful !!! The confusion is on the part of the salesman & the dealerWe were promised year satellite radio from the salesman who said to call him each time the month subscription endsThe "Glassman" that Joe Basil hired said that he could remove the "etching" of the glass with the dealers approvalWe will repeat what we already reported before purchasing the car, we said we wanted it cleaned up - the car, the engine & the glassWe have called the salesman repeatedly & he rarely answers & doesn't return our voice mails, hence the time lapseWho would want "sold" & numbers on their glass? If you want a dealership you would be satisfied with & want to return to & recommend to many people - it isn't Joe BasilThere are a lot of other car dealers in the area, hopefully, there is an honest one that treats customers respectfully, is pleasing & wants return customersregards,? Tell us why here...this vehicle has no open recalls per GMThis vehicle was purchased used 11/30/The repairs are not covered by warranty and are the customers responsibilityWe are not able to reimburse customer for repairs

The offer we sent out was by mail, and specifically stated while supplies last.? We gave out $gift cards before supplies ran out, which in our opinion is an ample supply.? There is no way to know how many people will take advantage of these offers, and that is why we have to set a
limit or budget to any offer like this.?

I picked up the truck on August 9th and the sound in the front driver side tire was still present after calling Joe Basil Chevrolet I was told not there problem but this has been an issue from first visit and instead of replacing parts they tried to grind on pads to no satisfaction?

Customer purchased a used vehicle from usCustomer's concern was with a/c not blowing through vents all the time and a brake squeakThese concerns are not a covered item under NYS Lemon LawWe fixed the brake squeal concernWe sent vehicle to Ford dealer for a/c vent concernCustomer did
purchase an extended warrantyThe a/c vent concern was an item covered by the extended warrantyThe customer was provided a rental car to use at no charge to customerWe also detailed the complete car at no charge to customer.? ?

The dealership will send the customer a check for the tax on the warranty purchase price.

We have absolutely no intention of keeping the customer's $However, there is a process that is followed when a deposit is refundedThe check must clear our bank before we can process a check and mail it to the customerThe check will be processed and mailed to the customer

The original complaint was satisfied with the agreement that we would send a letter to [redacted] stating that the credit bureau was pulled in error.? Both parties agreed that this would resolve the problem.? The letter is attached that we sent out in July
