Consumer called, I have not received the promised card as of yetMy calls there are passed along and I get the run around

I previously complained (complaint # [redacted] ) that Basil Chevrolet in did not refund the sales tax that they collected on an extended warranty that I bought from them and subsequently cancelled a few days laterMy previous complaint (# [redacted] ) was considered closed by Revdex.com as the dealers response to the complaint was that they would refund the $sales tax to me by checkThat was TWO WEEKS AGO! I have not received my $refund check, nor do I get any of my calls to the dealer returned regarding my refundI am requesting my complaint not be considered closed as the dealer has not complied with the solution they agreed to when Revdex.com contacted themAlso, your website automatically considers a complaint closed if they get no reply within days.Sent me my refund Check in the amount of $that I paid for sales tax on the contract that I cancelled

The offer we sent out was by mail, and specifically stated while supplies last.? We gave out $gift cards before supplies ran out, which in our opinion is an ample supply.? There is no way to know how many people will take advantage of these offers, and that is why we have to set a limit or budget to any offer like this.?

This repair would need to be done at a Ford dealershipThe defect is behind the lens, and I would assume that might be why there is a small amount of moisture in this lightThese Ford dealerships have been denying the repair because there is an acceptable amount of moisture in the lens ?" its within their acceptable standardsIf a Ford service representative inspected the light, they may be willing to goodwill the part to keep the customer happy

As of 3/1/2016, the financing issues concerning paperwork and loan establishment have been rectifiedAs with any purchase where a loan is required, an applicant's credit will show inquiries from banks as part of the process of securing financingThe customer's credit is by no means "ruined"There were some delays with delivery because the vehicle needed to be driven to reset monitors to pass New York State inspectionE-mail and phone contact has been made with this customer and other family members to explain this process and how it is being rectified

The Finance manager who made the error is sending a letter to [redacted] explaining the mistake and asking them to remove the inquiry from her credit report That should resolve this issue

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Regards, I do not accept this because I should have been told before I took the test drive and l also had to go back to the dealer a second time to fill out a slip and was not told by the a second sales man that I would not receive it [redacted]

I have a letter from NYSERDA stating that my car would have qualified for this rebate had the dealership filed the necessary paperwork at the point of saleIt is really a shame that a huge dealership like Basil's would not at least attempt to remedy this situation? Upon first contacting them, the manager chose to deny any wrongdoing and try to swindle me by saying that they gave me a bigger discount instead of the NYSERDA rebate? As to their claim of the $15,discount I received, half of that was a federal tax credit for electric vehicles that had nothing to do with the dealership? The remaining amount was a Chevy rebate and a discount for the vehicle having 2,miles on itAs to the date on the Dealer Implementation Guide being past the point of sale, I would argue that the timeframe was still within the allowable time to apply for this rebateTherefore, that excuse is invalidAfter spending around $33,at this dealership, it is very disappointing that they refuse to at least apologize for costing me $1,?

Tell us why here...this vehicle has no open recalls per GMThis vehicle was purchased used 11/30/The repairs are not covered by warranty and are the customers responsibilityWe are not able to reimburse customer for repairs

A full refund of the truck.?

Mr***'s claims are completely and totally falseAt no time was this vehicle offered to Mr [redacted] at a price of $21,The texts that he has attached in his response are fabricatedThe first never came from an employee of this dealership and the second isn't even for the truck that Mr [redacted] purchasedThat is for a completely different truck that is still for saleI have attached screenshots of Mr***'s actual [redacted] page that supports our claim that he knew that he was paying $28,for the truck (he ultimately paid $27,because we offered him an additional $in savings at the time of delivery)Mr [redacted] reached out to friends on [redacted] to see if they thought our price was fairIt's apparent based on the responses he received that he and his friends knew the deal was more than fairMr [redacted] also made contact with the previous owner of the truck he purchased and was aware of the truck's history and useMr [redacted] even thanked him when he bought itFurthermore, Mr [redacted] made several visits to the dealership and was never put under any duress to signHe knew what he was paying and signed in personNot a single document was forged as he suggestsIf needed, camera footage from our showroom may show Mr [redacted] in our finance office signingIn addition, the two employees that Mr [redacted] refers to had nothing to do with the reconditioning, inspection, sale or signing of this vehicleTheir opinion is uncredible because they had NOTHING to do with sale

The truck was delivered to Mr [redacted] with 6/32" of tire tread depth, far more than the 2/32" of tread required to pass New York State InspectionThe dealership has offered to purchase new tires for him and he could purchase the other He felt that our prices were too highIn an effort to satisfy the customer, the dealership is willing to contribute $towards a new set of tiresIf he feels that our prices are too high, he can use the money towards a set that he can find at a lower price

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? That you also have to provide to New York State that states do your best knowledge is your odometer reading correct they checked yes and enter the mileage of which truck was inspected with milage stated to sum things up they sold me a commercial vehicle that almost killed myself and my yr old son along with a bus full of children and another vehicle after truck went over a bump in road could not control truck as steering wheel went left right numerous times truck went hard left into oncoming trafficIf My statements where not true why would joe basil chevy in [redacted] buy this overcharged unsafe death trap? Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,David Novak I [redacted] have two employees working at joe basil that will come forward if need be to prove that there was unsigned paper work as in the mv-and registration and another employee in shop to admit the truck was not inspected correct way seeing emmisions system was tampered with and front end was not checked and still an inspector placed a new york state inspection sticker on said vehicle stating vehicle was 100% safe and all systems where okI have proof from repair facilitys and a state inspector truck is infact deemed unsafeMyself john [redacted] and mike the buisness manager all no I walked out do ? to the MV having the wrong purchase price on it have to dealership heard me fighting over that they agreed to have a change in at a later time I can sign it that never happened I've dealt with Mv-50s for years and the signature on The forged ? I dropped the vehicle back off as myself Joe basil the service manager and use car manager had a meeting they agreed to repair my vehicle had a call next morning that they were keeping my vehicle ? due to the fact that they could not repair it ? when the truth was they knew they put any legal inspection sticker on the vehicle and scammed me for $10,more than what the vehicle is worth every bank denied it except The vehicle was registered and 10/18/how is that ? all the paperwork I signed besides the MV and Registration was on 10/19/insurance was added 10/20/? and one more thing the mileage at time of sale differs from what is on the title so not only did they forge my name to the mv-there paper work has been flagged by ny state I wont back down to many people been taken advantage of ? and use keep sweeping them under the rug I'm standing my ground for myself and the others you took advantage ofMy family is close with the basil family as they are just now getting informed of this whole transaction the managers are keeping to there selves thank you

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am not shocked by Joe Basil Chevrolet's response They do not strive on customer service and seem to be very greedy We were not notified of storage fees until the very end and received nothing in writing from them We asked them to put a new wheel and tire on the front so we could come pick up however they decided to raise the price from $on our body shop estimate to $plus charge storage fees There are so many holes in their response that it is comical Our fleet company has no authority to authorize body shop repairs on our behalf because we do not carry insurance with them For them to say that they authorized repairs is absurd Not once did Joe Basil contact Jeff Hark or myself prior to us telling them we were picking up the van Seems they are making up lies to cover themselves now What I am going to do is dispute the charge on my Master Card since they think they are in the right The credit card company will ask for written proof that we approved the repairs, which there are none They will also ask for a signed receipt of services which again they can not provide one since they never asked us to sign off on these bogus charges I am also going to write a letter to General Motors/Chevrolet stating the dissatisfaction with the dealership and their customer service We have vehicles in our fleet and 85% of those are GM products I will not let one dealership ruin our reputation with GM products however I want them to know how we were treated What I would like to see is Joe Basil come up with a much better policy on storage fees than what they have, especially for customers that have vehicles towed in and do not personally walk in to their shop It may be posted in their shop, I'm not sure because no one was willing to send me a picture, but I do know there is nothing in writing showing their storage fee policy Jordan in the body shop said his manager told him the policy would be printed on the invoice but of course it was not I have a feeling they made this up just to charge us a fee I have attached the invoice that "should have" the storage fee policy listed but it does not I'm also attaching the body shop estimate I will be submitting this to our credit card company as well Lack of customer service is the biggest issue here We have been in business for over years and we strive on customer service If we had treated one of our customer's like this we would have done everything possible to make it right!! Regards, [redacted] ***

The vehicle in question did sit here for a long timeThe customer did want to file a product liability claim with General Motors for a tire that had blown outWe advised the customer that they could do that but was not in their best interest because they could not prove a defective tire and chances are it hit a road hazard and blew outThe vehicle was towed in and given to my service department but after they saw thousands of dollars in body damage the vehicle was turned over to the collision centerThis is some kind of a fleet vehicle that was being leasedThere were delays and questions as to who was responsible for to pay for the damagesLike we stated previously the vehicle was towed in 1/18/and a estimate was requested by us on 1/and it was sent to efleetscomThe vehicle was finally removed on 2/We have posted labor rates at the door per NY State lawThis is a standard operating procedure for impound and collision lots in New YorkInsurance companies pay storage daily to us for vehicles that are totaled or if towed here and removed to another facilityThe customer was advised if they had the work performed here that no storage charges would have been ***edThe customer opted to take the vehicle to his shop of choiceI attached a photo of our posted rates
