Review: I was at work as a receptionist in an animal hospital when I was approached by a sales representative from Nashville Group. She was very insistent and kept throwing products in front of me on my work desk. I have problem saying no to people and I am also a slight impulse buyer, so I agreed to purchase the 24/7 Makeover Portfolio, a reusable makeup remover cloth, bronze shimmer brush, and the travel kit of brushes. The woman swiped my card on her Square device, which worried me but I did not stop, and sent the receipt to my email. I checked the receipt immediately to make sure it was accurate and it appeared to look fine. While I know this women was not hired directly by ME, her entering a business and approaching employees during their work hours was very unprofessional. This, however, is not my complaint. When I returned home, I realized that I should not have purchased the products. They are not product I use and I was not happy with the quality of the products. Since I had not used the products and I still had the original packaging, I thought I could email ME and ask about a refund. I purchased the products Wednesday, July 22. I sent my first email asking about refund policies the night of the purchase. I sent an email again on Friday, July 24 asking again about refund policies and if a receipt was required, since I only had the emailed copy. I sent my last email Tuesday, 28. I received no response to any of these emails, which I was very upset about. Even an email telling me I could not refund the products would have been better than not receiving an email at all. Since ME was not answering me, I went to my email to pull up the receipt and see if there was contact information on the receipt and the receipt seems to have disappeared from my email. I've searched everywhere and cannot find it, and there is no way I would have deleted something like that. Overall, this entire experience has been very poor and has left me extremely flustered.Desired Settlement: I would really like to figure out if I can refund these products or not. I understand if I cannot, but I would at least like a reply from ME letting me know what my options are.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. I issued this a few days ago against Makeover Essentials. The company emailed me directly today and apologized and offered me a full refund! I am not sure what the next steps I need to take are in order to close this case but my complaint is resolved. Thank you for all your time and help!

Regards,
