I never signed up with this company and I am not using their service. ***.
Maple Call company sent me the invoice in November 2019 for some long distance calls of the amount of $9.62 + taxes. Maple Call is not my long distance provider, because before I was with ***. After receiving this invoice, I called Maple Call to ask who they are. They informed me that they took over the customers from ***. Then, I asked their rate to a few specific countries. They gave me the rate to those countries, but the did not mentioned anything about any extra fees on top of those rates. I said, that in your last invoice we can see that you charged "other fee" of $2.87+tx on top of the rate you just gave me, which represents 30 % more of what you just gave me. I asked, if I can see anywhere of their site or their bills, the statement that 30 % more money will be charged on top of your rate. The agent replied that it was a mistake and that they will adjust this "other fee" from 30 % to 15%. Once again I informed them that they cannot charge extra "other fee" at all, if they do not inform the customer about it in advance. But the agent answered that she can't remove the fee in full and said that I will receive my next bill with the adjusted "other fee" from 30% down to 15%.
Then, when I received the bill with the adjustment with a credit of - $1.35, I remarked that now they charged me $5.11+tx more for the late fee. I called and asked how they can charge me late fee of the bill that was wrong and had to be adjusted. The agent reply that this is their policy. I replied that if they will not remove those late fee of $5.11, I will not pay the bill at all, because it is not fair.
Then, I received maybe five more monthly bills with an extra $5.37+tx. So, my old November 2019 bill grew up from $9.62+tx to $31.26. I called to discuss the issue of the late fee of $5.37+tx/per month and I told them that back in November 2019 I was told to wait for the following bill with the adjustment of the "other fee"...
But this conversation was useless. In this case I informed them that I will not pay to them this bill at all with $5.37 x 4 months=$22+tx. Then, some of their employees called me from supposedly "collection agency" for Maple Call. But nobody agreed to remove the late fee.
I never signed up with this company and I am not using their service.

ehen I googled the company I saw This is a long distance service company which I never knew not even it's existence .they've been sending me bills and calling me aggressively heralding me to pay the bill .

For many years I you to have as my long distance provider ***.Last year there were several problems with the connection to the numbers I was regularly calling. I express my concern to *** several times but was not getting better. In October 2018 I called *** and I requested to have my Account closed ( I was month to month, I had no obligation to ***). At the beginning of this year ( can't remember the month I received redirected from my old address to my new address an envelope from this company with a list of charges for phone calls which where made and paid to *** and other which I never made) . I try calling many times , 20-30 times but I was never able to reach anybody. Than I was looking on the internet to find out about this Company and I reach a site ( I can't remember what site was but I am sure I have this information at home and I can search for this if necessary) where many people were complaining about the same stuff happened to me. It was a red flag and many of them were complaining to the Ministry of Consumers. I don't know how is possible like a Company to come out of blue and start sending you invoices for something you never did and pretend they have a contract with you and you don't have an idea about? After I canceled my Contract with *** I signed a Contract with another Company and I have unlimited phone calls with specific numbers. I didn't bother until today, when I received a phone call from a 647 number from *** ? and he said he is calling from my provider for the international calls Maple and he was calling because was a big balance on my account? Apparently he was the one "that you have meet our company with Maple" (I really don't know how to translate this in English). I never meet anybody from that Company? I called back and this time I was talking with ***. I told my name and my phone number and he was demanding to tell him my address. I told him that I will not provide other information because I have no idea how is this Company related to me? He than treated me that my account will be sent to collection? Really? I don't know who can protect us, the customers against this Companies which are taking over our information without our consent? I was not using their services , as I mentioned I have an unlimited plan with another company. Can you please tell me what to do? Please let me know what information to provide to you?

I don't want to have anything to do with this Maple Company. I have a contract with another company for my long distance phone calls. I don't need any services from them. I want them to delete all my personal information from their records and stop threatening me with collection. Today was the first time somebody called me and I was able to reach somebody from this company and only because they called me from a 647 number and not the number listed on their website.

I have contacted this business over 2 month ago to cancel the service, the cancellation rep insisted after 45 min on the phone that it is not a good idea to cancel the account, they would just keep the account and if I do not use the service I would not be charge any fees or flat rate or anything like this. A month later I got a bill which I ignored and did not pay the month after I got another bill with the previous balance and late fees. I called again and after over an hour on the phone I finally got to talk to a cancellation rep who tried to argue with me the same conditions as before I insisted to get the account closed so without arguing I firmed up my request 2 or 3 times on the phone with the rep and he finally promised me the account is going to be closed. Now few weeks after this discussion I find another bill that comes to me asking again to pay the flat fees

No further contact by the busi I really, ask Revdex.com to deal with this dishonest business practice contact this company force them to close my account and waive all the unjustified bills that I am not going to pay anymore. I have wasted too much time on this.

Maple Call Inc. got my information from another company that I used for long distance phone calls without my consent and not giving me any information about their rates and fees that I would be charged and their policies. I didn't know that the other company closed and passed my information to this other company. At beginning when we got the bill in the mail box we thought as a flyer that we get in the mailbox. We kept getting bills and getting charged so we call them and did the payment, but we were shocked that we were with another company. We thought that they had the same rules as the others. Now every time we got extra fees and charging fees and interests and even they stopped offering the service for us and they are charging us for the service, for interest .I called them 2 times to try to negotiate or to speak with supervisor but they said is impossible. I asked if I can pay for what I spend and they refused.
I'm looking if you can help me just to pay the amount that I own for the phone calls that I have made and not all other extra charges and fees that I wasn't aware or they can match what I paid with the other company that I used which is the cost of the phone calls. I don't have any contract with them and I don't want one.

Maple Call Inc is sending bills in last 6 months for phone service I've never agreed or sign any contract. After receiving a first bill I tried to call and talk to CSR, but no success. After a few attempts, I prepared a formal letter stating my issues/concerns and after 2 weeks I called and followed up. I was fortunate that time to reach someone to talk about it. I was told and ensure that issue will be solved and no more bills send. I still receiving bills every month. Please help to solve that issue.

I'm being ask to pay a bill for an organisation I have no agreement or contract signed with. Getting harassing call insisting to start paying
I was a customer of *** - long distance telephone provider until January of 2019 when they went bankrupt; at the time a company by the name of Maple Call contacted me claiming they took over from *** and I have to pay them a certain amount of money for long distance services rendered to me. I declined their request arguing that I have no contract or agreement signed with Maple Call therefore I owe them nothing. I started receiving harassing calls from Maple Call claiming I have to pay for long distance services at which point I contacted a legal adviser organisation (***) asking them for assistance. The submitted a 'Without Prejudice' letter to Maple Call in this regard which they couldn't be bothered to provide any feedback and continuing starting October 29, 2019 to calling me asking for payments for their services. I underline here the fact that I never signed any agreement or contract with the aforementioned Maple Call organisation

I used to have *** as my long distance on my home phone which is compatible with ***. *** is no longer around, therefore I stopped using my home phone for long distance. I receive statements from Maple Call with new charges and previous balances which are FAKE. My long distance bills never exceeded $5.00 and now they are $75.00!

Map call company *** me to force me to pay more than $100 service bill for a service I do not have, and a service they did not provide for me.
Maple Call representative called me on my cell on Sunday and he asked me to pay around 126$ bill. I do not know this company. I do not have a contract with them or anyone else. I do not have no long distance service at all. This is not right to collect money for no service. It is a mistake. I do not want collection agency to go after me because this company is *** me or force to pay the bill to be on the safe side. 126$ is a lot for nothing. How they got my cell phone number ? Why they called me on Sunday ? This is a harassment to get my number without my permission and call me on Sunday and ask me to pay.

I tried to call them repeatedly but only got messages saying called again later or was on the line for long periods of time waiting. with no one getting back to me and hung up eventually. ***. Checking Maple Call on line I found many other people with this same scenario as mine . So seeing the write ups that were on line with the same problem with the exact company. I STARTED DISREGUARDING THE MONTHLY BILLS THAT KEPT GETTING BIGGER BECAUSE OF LACK OF PAYMENT. I went with a different long distance company before maple call sent me my first bill (distribute). I have not had anything to do with Maple Call nor used their service in any way . But They still keep sending growing bills monthly due to late payment charges. to the point where Maple Call says I owe them $103.76 which I find offensive

Did not sign up with Maple call for the phone service. But getting bills from them.
We had phone service with company named ***. In December of 2018 we called company (***)to cancel the service. When service was canceled we paid the remaining amount and thought that was the end. But after some time we start getting bills from the company called Maple Call inc. We tried to contact this company,but with no luck. Customer service will not answer, they will put you on hold for an hour an then disconnect.Every month they will send the new bill with new charges and we don't know how to stop this.

Never authorized "Maple Call" to have my information was never informed that we have become their customers. We do not make long distance phone calls & yet still get bills/phone calls from this company demanding payment.

Maple Call continues to send invoices although we do not recall ever entering into a contract with them. Their invoices do not include a breakdown of services as required by the Consumer Protection Act of 2002.

No further contact by the busi Today, Thursday, August 8, 2019 we spoke on phone directly with Maple Call Inc. rep and asked them to immediately cease and desist from sending any more invoices for services they never provided and that our account with Maple Call Inc. be closed immediately. Maple Call complied. We will be monitoring to see if we receive any more invoices from here on. We request that the general public be made aware of Maple Call Inc.'s business practices.

I received the following bills from Maple Call Inc, a company I never entered into a contract with, a company whose service I have never used, a company who continually harasses me by sending me monthly bills.

Apparently, this company bills me for unspecified "Other Fees" worth $7.98, plus taxes, plus late fees each month.

I have no intention of paying for the nonexistent service that this company insists upon me. During a conversation with one of their agents a few months ago, I asked that I be deleted from their list. But they still continue to send me the monthly bills. This is harassment and it must be stopped.

Maple Call Inc, keeps sending me bills for the long distance calls plus several extra fees for the services I have never asked. The last invoice was over $71.
I have never been a customer of Maple Call Inc., never asked them for any kind of service, and never signed any agreements with them.
Previously I was with *** for the long distance services. Maple Call provided the same account number which I had with ***.
I have never received any correspondence from Maple Call that would indicate their intention to take over the business from ***.
Any attempts to contact Maple Call Inc by phone or email to explain them that I am not their customer and not going to be, were unsuccessful.

Since January, 2019 and today I received numerous calls and invoices from Maple Call Inc. stating that I own money to them for their service. Interesting, I newer heard and I never signed contract with this company. For years I was customer of ***. I have been customer of *** Telecom for years.

When my long distance provider disappeared, I never received any mail or email that they were bought or otherwise became Maple call. But Maple call started to send me invoices to pay and they even called me for my due balance. I never used their services, never gave them permission to use my personal info, never agreed on anything with them. I told them clearly all this and that I will not pay for something I never used and that I want a statement about how they used/will use my personal info. Instead, I receive an email to welcome me as customer!! When I replied stating the obvious and asking about the use of my personal info, they told me that this email is a confirmation of my balance! What's this, a blackmail?? You pay and we will be nice with your info?

I really hope somebody will stop them to harass me! I can show the exchange of emails as proof.

Very unsatisfied with the service. Called back in June to figure out why I my bill was higher every month even though I was paying the bills and figured out that *** was bought by Maple Call. The customer service rep at that time( a nice lady) explained that even though the account number is the same they would not be able to receive the payment bc it was still registered under the other provider(***). I gave her authorization to go ahead and retrieve that money that I had paid for couple of months and pay her company. According to her that wasn't possible and I had to go to the bank and do that. *** I asked her to freeze my account and not charge me any other late fees. I wasn't going to make it to the bank anytime soon and I didn't want to continue to pay for their mistake. I made it very clear that I wouldn't pay that account until I get my money back. They had failed to inform the customers about the changes and this was their problem. In my view I had payed that account why should I continue to be charged late fees? After I went to the bank (July 9, 2019) to start the investigation I decided to pay the bill and called maple call to cancel the service as I was very unhappy. The customer service rep (Mike) informed me that my bill had increased because the late fees. After I explained him everything he had the audacity to ask me why did I go to the bank now and not before. I explained to him again that this problem is because of their *** practice. I went to the bank when I had time. I should not be charged for that. I asked him to speak to a supervisor and his answer was very disturbing" the supervisor won't accept a call just like that". Decided to hang up and call again. Finally I spoke to level 2 supervisor Deborah who made it very clear that I should pay my late fee and that was nothing that she could do. I am very upset. It's not a question of not being able to pay a $6.00, it's just not right I should pay for their malpractice. My account was clear as of May 2019 but because I was not made aware that I should change the company name even though the account number was the same I had to incur the late fees. Maple call did nothing to fix this! Apparently you just get the money and your problems should be fixed by customers.

Horrible client service experience, I keep getting late charges for not using the service.
Customer service support is unprofessional in dealing with client inquiries.
You can't make profit by late charges, you need focus on service you offer
