Mark Mitsubishi Scottsdale Reviews (51)

I can appreciate your concern about the lack of a spare tire.  We have multiple posters, displays, and handouts all around the store specifically for the Tire Inflation Kits that are coming standard on many cars now.  We completely understand that some people don't want to rely on roadside...

assistance which is why we heavily display the new Inflation Kits that come with cars.  This is not something that we as a dealer decide rather a manufacture decision.  It's not just [redacted] either.  This is a list complied by Consumer Reports last year for cars that no longer come with spare tires and the list is growing even more this year.  You'll notice some pretty expensive cars too, not just economy cars.  We do have spare tires available as an accessory kit that [redacted] offers in the Parts Department.  While it may not be the answer you are looking for, your dispute is really with [redacted] Motors, not the dealer.  We don't have any say or choice in what the [redacted] Motors decides to offer the public.  If you would like to speak with someone further I would encourage you to contact Consumer Affairs directly at [redacted]

I purchased an Outlander from Mark Mitsubishi on 7/05/2012 and I received a letter form them on 11/15/2014 stating that my vehicle was investigated and found it to be worth 19,000 plus. I went to them to research the letter and I was told that it was a generic letter and they never came up with the original price that was on the letter. I never traded my vehicle that only had 18,500 miles on it but I wish to inform others that this was a scam to get you through the door. I was also stiffed by them with the original purchase that they stated that the vehicle had bluetooth and Sirius radio but just needed to be turned on but did not have either and they were suppose to pay for the three free months but never did. They solved the original problem by having a unit installed by another radio installer. They just moved to the Phoenix Auto Row into the old Lexus dealer property.

Very fast, easy, no hassle or haggle, and got what I was looking for.

We are sorry for the confusion as stated.  The credit union originally did not accept the loan at the agreed terms.  See link from [redacted], as your credit rating should not...

be affected.[redacted]

The bank approval from [redacted] clearly states a term of 72 months, not 60.  75 months is an option they give dealers to help achieve the payment budget a customer is trying to hold too.  The $300 down payment has been returned to the debit card ending in [redacted].

We have resolved the complaint with the customer while also terminating the party involved.

I have reviewed the response...

made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. While the amount that we paid for the [redacted] does fall within the range of what an individual might pay for this car (as claimed by the company), this is ultimately not the point of the complaint.  The dealership purported to us that the car was an [redacted] Premium, and used sales tactics of comparing our car to other [redacted] Premiums in the area to make us comfortable with the price that we were paying.  The salesman was adamant that the price being offered was the lowest in town, which may have been true of the car was in fact a Premium.  In the end, this is what made us feel comfortable purchasing this car. Mark Kia was willing to sell us an [redacted] Premium for the agreed upon price, and therefore it should be inferred that the dealership would be willing to sell us an [redacted] (without the premium trim) for a lesser amount.  However, even though Mark Kia was dishonest (knowingly or unknowingly) about the car that they were selling to us, the means by which they tried to rectify their mistake was to have us just bring the car back, after all of the headache we had already been through.  This is unacceptable.  We had already had the car serviced at the [redacted] dealership and purchased other items to personalize the vehicle.  In addition, by returning the car we would be sacrificing a significant amount of our personal time and added stress to continue our search for another car.  The car will meet our needs as is, even though it will always remind me of the poor experience of purchasing it and the feeling of being taken advantage of by the car salesmen at Mark Kia.It wouldn't have taken much for the people of Mark Kia to rectify their mistake.  If they had made us a good faith offer $500, we would have accepted it and been satisfied.

We sincerely apologize for the way you feel you were treated.  It is certainly not our intention to upset customers.  Interest rates are controlled by banks, not car dealerships. We would be happy to submit/resubmit for a loan approval to see if we can get anything better than 14.9% if the...

customer wishes to do so.

As the customer knows with signed documentation, the vehicle was sold AS IS and very specifically states there is no warranty.  We go above and beyond by repairing all items we consider to be a safety issue to promote good service however, we cannot make additional repairs without cost to the costumer.  It needs to be fair for everyone.   See attached.
