Revdex.com rating of A+ on the Company web site does not match Revdex.com rating F in the Revdex.com site
Per the website, www.elementprotectionplans.com has Revdex.com rating of A+ (top right hand corner), but when you click on the Revdex.com link on that website, it takes you to Matrix Warranty Solutions in the Revdex.com website, which has a current rating of A+. In the Revdex.com website, if you search for Element Protection Plan, you find the Revdex.com rating of F. Looks like they may be the same company with different names as they have the same address, 3110 McKinnon St, Dalla TX (One business does not have a Suite number, the other is Suite 420).

Desired Outcome

I recently put a down payment for warranty coverage for my car. I was told via phone that Element Protection Plans has a Revdex.com rating of A+, but per the Revdex.com website, Matrix Warranty Solution has an A+ rating and Element Protection Plans has a rating of F. I felt mislead and I will be requesting my down payment $207.50 back and canceling my warranty protection.

Matrix Warranty Solutions Response • Aug 23, 2018

Matrix Warranty Solutions is an administrative claims company and does not directly market to consumers. Matrix maintains an A+ Revdex.com rating. Element protection plans is not the name of any company so it would not qualify for a Revdex.com rating. We administer claims for the Element program. Matrix asks the Revdex.com to close out this complaint as erroneous.

these folks call incessantly. 20 x a day, 100's of times a week. they ignore do not call requests, they are rude and hang up.
I want them to stop CALLING !

Desired Outcome

I want to be taken off their callling list for good.

Matrix Warranty Solutions Response • Aug 13, 2018

Matrix does not own any telemarketing call centers. Matrix does not solicit or harass consumers. Matrix is an administrative claims company and does not directly market to consumers. Matrix does not condone telemarketing or any other forms of harassment. It is possible this consumer is confused. There are several marketing companies in the extended warranty space. However, Matrix does not do any marketing to consumers. Matrix asks the Revdex.com to close out this complaint as erroneous.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
These folks call my home phone constantly... I have tried repeatedly to get them to stop calling. I have pretended I was interested, got a manager on the phone, etc. These folks used to identify themselves as National Dealer services and now they are directly identifying themselves as Matrix Warranty Solutions. That's you.

I understand that perhaps you are the end provider of the warranty, but in investigating this you are contracting telemarketers that are violating DNC rules repeatedly. I have actually considered disconnecting my home phone number because of these calls. I would but it is the only number my 92 year old mother knows by heart.

The telemarketers you are employing to sell your products are directly using your name. I would suggest you figure out which of your telemarketers is doing this and FIX IT.

https://www.autoremarketing.com/subprime/matrix-warranty-solutions-now-part-fi-express-network

I also understand that apparently all the warranty solution providers (like you) get leads, etc from a group of telemarketing firms (I dug into this with National Dealer services) and there are dozens of these firms that market warranties, and that your car, when it goes out of warranty, gets put on a national database of 800,000 some cars that these jerks can use. My husband was STUPID enough to list our home phone number which is not published when he brought the car to the dealership for service. this allows you to claim that you are not paying them when actually you are utilizing the network that they participate in to bring you leads...

I would suggest you call National Dealer Services, and check with them about how they got the infamous "Dillon ***" robo call company to stop using their name and use yours instead.

https://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/dealer-services-unwanted-phone-calls-for-automobile-warranties-cXXXXXX.html

Here is the feedback I got from these folks...

Apparently they somehow got this robocall company to stop using their name.....and now they are using yours...

Good afternoon, Ms.,
Thank you for your time earlier today and for sending this link. I have discussed the matter with our General Counsel and have a couple things for you.

Second, when you "google" "National Dealer Services", one of the first hits is "Interstate National Dealer Services", also a company located in the Atlanta area. They administer Vehicle Service Contracts (VSC, what many call "Extended Warranties" for multiple companies, but do not actively place sales calls themselves. They have a good reputation in the industry and our counsel is reaching out to someone he knows there to see if they are getting complaints similar to yours. I will let you know if we get any information from them that may help you.
Third, I can't seem to find a website or any other concrete information on "National Dealer Services". Almost everything I found on is similar to your tale - they seem to call numbers repeatedly and have no regard for being asked to stop, or be put on a do not call list nor do they seem willing to let you talk to a supervisor or manager.
Finally, I have provided below my contact information which includes our company signature line. reply or call if you have any questions or would like additional information.

Thank you.

Scott ***
Telecommunications Manager

I am not putting Scott's contact information here but if you want it I will send it to you...

I would suggest that you reach out to him and see what he did (or National Dealer Services did) to identify the company which is part of your leads network that is using your name now so that they can be prosecuted.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Listen to the attached audio. Their sales rep indicates he is employed by National Dealer Services who is selling plans for Matrix Warranty Solutions/Element Protection plans. Matrix is once again fraudulently claiming they are unaffiliated with National Dealer services. Their sales rep indicates differently (listen to attached audio). This is blatant misrepresentation. Do the Revdex.com organization not go after companies for fraud ?

Matrix Warranty Solutions Response • Nov 27, 2018

This sounds as though this consumer needs to take this issue up with National Dealer Services. Matrix does not make any telemarketing calls and therefore does not have any sales reps. Matrix does not own any call centers and does not condone harassment of any kind. Matrix asks the Revdex.com to close out this complaint as erroneous inaccurate information.

Multiple telemarketing calls per day from fake phone numbers.
This company hires or does business with telemarketing companies that use computers to call people several times a day from fake phone numbers, meaning that when you call the numbers back they do not go to their business, they go to people who have no idea what you are talking about when you say they just called you. This is because they do not want people to know who they are talking to. Even though these telemarketing companies are out of state they, hijack local numbers that are the same prefix as yours to appear that is is a local call, and they switch numbers often so they cannot be blocked. If you stay on the line however you get connected to Matrix Protection and they try to sell you a warranty on your vehicle. The company also refused to take my number off of their call list, even though I requested them to do so four times. I have received at least 200 calls from the telemarketing companies they use. In my opinion they need to be fined heavily for their shady sales tactics. when confronted the salesman from matrix admitted that their tactics were "deceiving". I will also be contacting the Indiana Attorney General and filing a complaint with them. Below they will list the same false answer that they give everyone else. Instead of the canned response claiming this is untrue, please explain why when I stay on the line for any of these calls I get connected to Matrix Protection.

Desired Outcome

Stop calling me

This company, Matrix, works with predatory call centers that constantly call/solicit/harass me to buy extended warranties for my cars. I don't know how they can have a A+ rating from Revdex.com.

This is the exact same canned, automated response that this business gives to anyone who complains about their "predatory" sales practices. I believe this companies sales/marketing practices are unethical and should be stated as such by the Revdex.com.

Matrix Warranty Solutions Response • Jul 18, 2018

This consumer is not a customer of Matrix. Matrix does not own any marketing centers. Matrix advises this consumer to contact the marketing centers directly for resolution. It is quite possible the consumer opted in to receive this information and is being contacted by several marketing companies. Matrix is an administrative claims paying company only and does not market any consumers.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The response by Matrix is untrue. They DO work with call centers/organizations that use predatory marketing techniques. I know because it happend to me.

This company calls every other day even though I have consistently stated that I am not interested and have asked to be removed from their call list (approx 3 months now). They either hang up or say they will, but call back a day after.

They call all the time and even if you tell them your not interested they will keep calling. Went through the whole sales pitch told them it's not something I'm interested in because they wanted $4384 spread out over the next 12 months but would not send me the paperwork to review prior to me making the first $657 paiyment. Told me that if I make the payment and decided I didn't want the coverage I could just get my money back. Why could I not get the policy up front and then decide? He said it's because I failed to get this coverage through gmc and there doing me a favor by offering me there coverage and it's time sensitive if I hang up the phone they can't do anything for me after that. But still will call all week trying to sell me the same thing. This company is overly aggressive on sales. I didn't even know the exact mileage to the car and asked what if it's higher or lower than the generic 80,00 that they put in to get the quote if that would effect the price? They said it didn't matter just to make the first payment and we will figure it out later. This was all from a manger they transformed me to. Element protection plans stop calling me.

Relentless Telemarketing
I have received in excess of 200 robocalls over the past two months from a telemarketer working on behalf of Matrix Warranty Solutions. I have said on each occasion that my number is on the Do-Not-Call Registry and that they are breaking the law by 1) marketing to me by phone, 2) using robocalls and 3) ignoring my requests to stop calling. It's the same guy every time, "Dylan." We've had so many conversations I recognize his voice.

After an initial telephone screen, the calls are transferred to Matrix representatives, and I have again told them not to call. They tell me that my file will be "permanently removed from qualification" for their product, but the calls keep coming.

Not only is it illegal and annoying but it's stupid and inefficient. How can it possibly be effective to call the same number hundreds of times and repeatedly pitch people who have already made it clear that they have no interest in the product?

Desired Outcome

I want to be compensated for the time and annoyance caused by the illegal conduct of businesses that Matrix pays to market on its behalf.

Matrix Warranty Solutions Response • Jun 11, 2018

This consumer is mistaken. Matrix does not own a call center nor does it facilitate telemarketing calls. Therefore, it is impossible this consumer received a call from Matrix. That said, there are independent non-affiliated call centers that market Matrix products. We are immediately reaching out to all of them with regard to this customer to ensure he is not solicited again. In addition, this customer will receive a gift from Matrix for bringing this to our attention. We strive to be the best.

Customer Response • Jun 13, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It is a lie for Matrix to say that they "do not facilitate telemarketing calls." They surely have contracts with these telemarketers and pay them for their service. If Matrix wasn't paying the bills, the telemarketers wouldn't be calling. They make this statement purely in an effort to protect themselves from legal liability for penalties ($150 per call) allowed by Do Not Call legislation.

Call 12 times a day from 7 am to late at night. Went thru there spell wont give a number to call back told them not interest keep calling . This is just crazy .

They repeatedly call me offering a "final opportunity" to buy an extended warranty for a truck I have told them repeatedly that I no longer own.
I have received at least 50 calls from Dillon Thompson with Dealer Services offering my last final opportunity to buy an extended warranty on my 1998 Dodge Ram pickup. The calls come from various phone numbers (CA, OK, TX, etc.) I explained I am on a do not call list, I no longer own the truck, I am not interested, to take me off their call list, and DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN. I have been called as often as several times a day. I finally pretended to be interested so I could find out what company is behind Dealer Services. I was transferred to Brian. I asked if they had a website where I could see their plans and was directed to www.elementprotectionplans.com. He continued to direct me thru this website. I asked if this was also part of Matrix and he confirmed. I told him to take me off of their calling list.

Desired Outcome

Under federal law they owe me $1200 for each of the 50 +/- unauthorized phone calls. However, I will settle this matter with them for payment of one violation (i.e. $1200) and for them to never call me again.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The person calling knew I had an extended warranty that had expired on my 1998 Dodge Ram truck. When I let him transfer me, the person I was transferred to assumed this was about my 2005 GMC Denali which also had an expired extended warranty. If it is an a third party vendor, you are still responsible for providing them with my name, phone number and the vehicles that we previously had extended warranties with you. Obviously you have approved of them calling and provided them with my phone number and other information which is probably another violation of more laws. Therefore, you are still responsible. Please provide the name and phone number of the vendor who was calling me. If you are not sure, I want the names and numbers of all vendors from which it could be.

I continue to get up to 15 calls per day from this company after refusing to purchase services
I have a home office and I get 15 plus calls per day from Matrix / Element protection Plan it starts as an automated call then transfers me to a live agent where I ask them to please stop calling me, I have gone to the next live person to hear there sales pitch then politely inform them that I am not interested and please remove me from the call list. and soon get another call. They will not stop calling and it really disrupts my business with calls ringing in while im on the phone

Desired Outcome

I no longer want to be contacted by this company at any of my contact phone numbers ever again or i will take leagle actions

Continual phone harassment. Demanding credit card info for deposit while refusing to send any contract information. SCAM
Repeatedly told them they violate No Call policies and asked not to be called again. their hired telemarketers spoof phone numbers that are not in service most of the time. They demand credit card information for a deposit but refuse to provide any written contract terms until such time as the deposit is made. This sounds like an illegal scam to me on the part of Matrix or the telemarketers they use. I did not make payment. They hang up when asked about their company name and address, and then call back later to try to get credit card information.

Desired Outcome

Assurances that they change their policies in regard to their telemarketing as well as assurance I never get contacted by them again.

Numerous phone calls trying to sell auto warranty's for vehicle I no longer own. They use a fake # that shows up local on my caller id. When I block it they just call from different #. No sure if there selling warranty or trying to scrap people for info.. numberous complaints on internet about them but nobody knows how to stop. I stayed on phone to see how much info I could get from them so I could file complaint. Not to mention I'm on the national registry for Do not call list

Desired Outcome

No further contact by the busi Quit calling
