I've been using McCarthy Services for 6 years. They have always been very professional and helpful. They have maintained my HVAC system and also replaced an aging system.

Kevin W[redacted] is a real asset to McCarthy Services - and to the world of HVAC. Not only is he knowledgable about the systems he services, he does the job with such kindness and grace. Kevin would be an excellent mentor to the next generation of service technicians. Though the company as a whole does not always get the highest marks (more on that at another time), Kevin deserves the highest possible praise.

Very satisfied with technician competency and personality.

Tim and Ryan installed a new HVAC system in our home yesterday. They did a fantastic job and were so nice and a pleasure to deal with. Tim and Ryan stayed late to make sure everything was finished and done correctly. I would recommend them and McCarthy to anyone looking for service for their HVAC systems.

Randall was prompt, should up at the front end of the schedule widow which was extremely helpful to me. He was knowledgeable and professional.

I have been a satisfied customer of McCarthy for the past 5 years. They replaced the entire HVAC system in 2011 and have maintained it with an annual service contract. A technician inspects and adjusts the system prior to the heating and cooling seasons.
Only once was there a malfunction that required an emergency visit. Five hours after reporting the issue they identified the mechanical failure, replaced the faulty switch and restored the HVAC system. I could not be more pleased with the professionalism and competence of all of the McCarthy Services personnel we have come into contact with.
Highest recommendation from a satisfied customer.

Randall D. did a great job today repairing to areas of plumbing for us in our home. He was courteous, timely, and skillful. McCarthy Services is our "go to" company for a variety of services.

McCarthy Services just finished the annual inspection of my air conditioning unit. The technician, Craig F was professional, thorough, and helpful. He graciously resolved an issue with my heat pump that had been left by an earlier technician and recommended an accessory that would extend the life of my air conditioner. I have had great experiences with their plumbers (Danny M, Randall, and James M) and their office staff (Chrystal), too. They are probably not the least expensive company, but the quality of their service is top notch.

Services (“ARS”) has received your email dated March 17, 2016,
regarding the above-referenced complaint. 
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and allowing us the
opportunity to respond.   
On March 1, 2016 while working on a
water line adjacent to [redacted]’s line, approximately 12 inches from our line, we
grazed a small portion of [redacted]’s water line. 
We notified [redacted] and subsequently completed the repair of both water
lines.  The inspector verified no leaks
were found and that the connections for both lines were in compliance with code
requirements.  ARS backfilled the hole on
March 2, 2016 after both lines passed inspection with Fairfax County.
On March 16, 2016 [redacted] contacted ARS
about a leak in his water line.  ARS
returned to the property for diagnosis with the understanding that any necessary
repair to a portion of the line that was leaking from our previous work would
be completed at no cost to [redacted].  Upon
arrival, our service professional was able to determine the section ARS
previously repaired was not the portion of the line that was currently leaking. 
ARS appreciates the opportunity to
clarify that [redacted]’s water line is approximately 40 years old.  As a gesture of goodwill, ARS offered to
repair [redacted]’s water line at a discounted rate.  [redacted] informed ARS that he did not wish to
proceed unless ARS agreed to guarantee not only the portion of the line where
ARS performed work, but also the entire line. 
 Our service professional informed
[redacted] we could only guarantee the portion of the line where ARS performed
work.  [redacted] declined further service
and requested our service professionals leave the property.
It is difficult for ARS to accept
responsibility for damage to a portion of [redacted]’s water line where ARS did not
perform any work.  Therefore, ARS would
be willing to honor our original offer to perform the new repair at a
discounted rate and to guarantee the portions of the line where ARS performs
work.

Revdex.com:Mr. Mccarthy of the Mccarthy heating and Air Conditioning Co. contacted me on 11/14/14, admitting the service person charged me the wrong book price of the part and is willing to send me a check of $600 and promised me for a honest service.  My husband and I took a oversea trip 
on 11/16/14, therefore I can not verify whether the check is being sent to us or not.  If Revdex.com can wait till the end of November when I get back from the trip, I will write to Revdex.com again to verify it.

Services Washington DC, Virginia and Maryland. Randall D. is a very well mannered and very Profesional in dealing my Plumbing issues.The services we received is AWESOME, he works really hard and knows right away on what needs to be done.
