The complaint stands the same way it has when I tried to settle with McDavid Ford back in early 2016. McDavid Ford admitted to over spraying my truck (*** ***, service consultant)The company made available to me the repair estimate to paint the truck (*** ***, McDavid Ford Collision Center). I am looking at the estimate as prepared by right now and it totals out to be $7,to get my truck painted. If you would kindly send me a check for this amount we can immediately close out complaint# *** with the Revdex.com as settled. *** ***

The settlement amount is $is the customer accepting or rejecting this whole amount? If the amount offered is not acceptable what is it that he requires?

I am rejecting this response because: The truck was NOT found in my neighborhood. It was found in a totally different neighborhood. The truck had to have been towed from *** *** during day time hours, because the yard is locked at night. This was probably an inside job according to police. YES, we did file a claim on OUR insurance; however, it did not cover the $deductible that we were short. This truck was our work truck and it was only a small electrical issue. Anyone could have got the truck to start. This matter is not closed, because the service manager told us that they would pay us the $deductible PLUS the tow bill that we had to pay to have the vehicle towed off the street where it was found. *** ***'s comments are NOT correct, and this matter is not closed or resolved. The service manager has a copy of the tow bill that we provided to him. It was over $100. He said they would take care of it. The least they could have done is rent us a car. That in no way, was agreed as payment for the money they owed us and agreed to pay

Because the customer could not initially get financed we had to rewrite his contract which entailed a further down paymentWe were never aware that the vehicle had been involved in any kind of accident.Tell us why here

I am rejecting this response because: The company lacked in response in 2015, which displays no desire to make good on the lack of respect and service that has been displayed - a member of management should have taken on the role of apology maker when the complaint was made. There is nothing that would alleviate the disrespect shown. It is apparent that they have had numerous Revdex.com complaints now that they had to hire someone to handle them. This should be a direct visualization of the type of company that McDavid Auto Group is.

We offered to order and replace the bed cover. Customer requested that we not replace it but instead refund the price of the cover.We did not have labor to refund. The labor was to remove and reinstall it on the truck.We would install a new cover but not refund labor.His
deductible is $500.00, and the price of the bedcover is $plus tax of $= $898.35. This is what we offered to do: wave the deductible $501.00 balance of bed cover $397.35 total $

I am rejecting this response because:My real problem with McDavid is things. 1-The fact they submitted the deal at months and got the 8.65% interest rate, then quoted me that interest rate on a month payment On months they would have been given a better interest rate...really manipulating the system to their advantage 2-Leading me to believe the loan was with my preferred lender, and not telling me they were changing lenders - again to their advantage, without thought to my request 3-And all the hits to my credit that were unnecessary when I brought in a pre-approval letter which I handed to them. I am refinancing and moving from *** *** and to my preferred lender *** *** (at about 2% better rate) Taking me time and energy to get it all done The only thing I still want from McDavid is to remove the unnecessary hits on my credit Thank you again! *** ***

This part is now obsolete due to the age of the vehicle. We are continuing our search in hope that we can find one either at auction or as trade. It is not impossible, we have found one but it was the incorrect colour.Tell us why here...

We have come to an agreement with Mr [redacted] that once the parts have been delivered we will make an appointment for him to bring his vehicle back to us to perform the work required.

[redacted] sorry for the lack of contact. I was at the Dr. office yesterday morning and did not find out that your truck was dropped off at around 6:30 Wednesday afternoon. I think we both saw him lift the truck and put the nuts on. Im not sure right now what could have happened. Had the wheel been...

tightened down with out the wheel being flush It would have caused a horrible vibration. Im not sure if you felt that or not. Either way as I told you before you left we will take care of whatever we need to to make this right. I have had several very negative experiences with Overhead Door in my lifetime as well but they always stood behind what they did and fixed the mistakes their technicians made. I am still a loyal customer of OHD because of that and hope you can be a loyal customer with us as well once all has be completed to your satisfaction. Since yesterday afternoon when I found out about your truck I tried to find a new wheel. I have attached the communication from Discount Tire regarding the availability of a replacement wheel. As you will read in the circled area they have informed me the wheel is discontinued and no longer available. I have my tire and wheel team searching for a new wheel that someone may still have in stock. In the event I cant find a new wheel I will offer you two options, 1 – I can send yours out to be re-newed and it will look and perform like new or I will replace all four wheels with a like kind and price of your choice. I have also instructed Tim to provide you a truck as long as required. I do not know why you did not get one when yours was dropped off. Did Neal not offer you any transportation? The truck is here and ready and I will keep you posted on where we are with yours. That is not...

true. You led me to believe the vehicle was financed when I left. Also when the accident occurred I called the dealership  immediately because the air bags did not deploy on the new 2016 that was purchased. Then on 7/25/16 I told [redacted] it was totaled again and he said yes I heard. So your dealership was fully aware it was totaled and you cannot sell me a new car 07/25 when the vehicle was totaled 7/19 I have the contract from 7/05 and 7/25 as well as the accident reports and phone records showing I called the dealership numerous times.
