Duke Energy has researched our records which indicate the Deferred Payment Arrangement was set by the customer via our automated system and established as confirmed on the customer's account No record found of any other arrangement agreed and confirmed in the automated system and no record of a different date quoted The customer did not pay the Deferred Payment Arrangement according to the agreed upon terms As a result, the agreement was in default, the power was disconnected for nonpayment, required payment to restore service received, and the service was restored the same day of disconnection

Hi [redacted] I received an email back on 8/with your contact info at the bottomWhen I checked the status of the complaint it said I could send additional informationI received a call from a rep [redacted] at the Duke on 8/I called back and left her a message requesting a call back to which I never received oneI came home on 8/to no powerI called and was transferred to their HQ department and spoke with [redacted] She stated [redacted] never made any note on the account and if I wanted power back I was forced to pay the very amount I was disputing, 214, now including a $reconnect feeI paid this to have power restored and have requested a call back from ***'s supervisor [redacted] I am not sure how to proceed as no one with authority who handles these issues is returning my call.Thank You, [redacted]

Duke Energy apologizes to the customer for the time necessary to complete the new service installation. The inspection was received from the inspection department on 8/25/17 and in most cases the meter is set within 2 business days. In this case, we found existing underground service at... the location but more work required that involved installing an additional underground service cable. This caused a delay with completing the service installation for the customer. The previous commitment date quoted to the customer was prior to the knowledge of the additional underground work required. The meter was installed on 9/7/17 at 1236pm. Duke Energy called Mr. [redacted] to inform of the completion. Duke Energy closing the BBB based on this resolution.

The customer needs to contact the SC Office of Regulatory Staff in order to resolve this issueHe has already contacted them and it has now escalated beyond this department's ability to assist Thank you

My apologies for my hasty email complaint yesterdayI was BEYOND frustrated that no one at Duke Power could answer any of my questions, nor explain why all these charges kept piling onI was able to speak with someone last night who was kind enough to go over everything with meWhile the fee
still seems high, I completely understand why they did it nowI've paid the fee this morning and all is resolved on my endI tried to explain to them all I wanted was answers and I'd pay it. I am just looking for the company to complete the task of moving my underground power

The tenants made several attempts to have power put in their name and were refused by duke powerThe apartment manager also called duke power and told them we weren't there and duke power still did not put the power in the new tenants nameThe apartment manger is preparing a statement and I will forward this to youThank you
