Allied's Regional Operations Manager has been in contact to discuss the concerns referencedHe will follow up with an action plan at the first of next week

Were confused - our manager was on site yesterday and reports there has been contact / updates Were committed to make the job right Rain has kept us from working most of the last weeks We have 100ish jobs sitting due to rain.We are calling now to determine where the
problem is

Doors have the longest lead time of any of the products that Allied sellsIn this case, the door could have been installed when it arrived, but Mr*** didn't want it to be installedMaking adjustments to accommodate small size differences is a common occurrence in the home improvement industry,
but Mr*** asked that it be reordered, and Allied obligedHowever, doing that requires that it be re-manufactured and reordered, which presents a delay.Per the agreed upon contract, payment is required when the project is substantially completeAllied asked for payment consistent with the agreed upon terms and conditions.There was some confusion with the door paintingWhen Mr*** contacted our local manager to ask about painting the door, our manager said that he would come out and paint it for himMr*** declined and said that he had already had someone else paint the door.Allied painted the agreed upon soffit and fasciaThe agreed upon contract is clear that we were to replace siding on the front and rear of the homeThe left and right sides of the homes are clearly marked that we were not to replace siding on those sides of the homeSoffit and fascia is replaced in the same areas where siding is replaced.Warranty information is emailed to our customers after the project is complete and paid forThe warranty information was emailed to *** on May 27, Allied will re-email the warranty information

This a copy of the warranty, contract, and service requestOur issue was cause by a defect in installation, Tom *** with Allied Siding and Windows came out last July and adjusted the both sliding glass door frames that were incorrectly installedTom also stated that Allied siding and Windows would take care of the problem at no charge because of our warranty.

There must be some confusionLeonard never made an appointment with Mr***; thus, there was nothing to back out ofWhen Leonard called Mr***, he was told that it was too late and that another company had been hired. The project was reviewed and examined by our Regional Manager - Bryan H*** - in JanuaryHe walked the property with Mrs***. Regardless, there are no corrections that Allied can make at this point because the project was completely redone

We have attempted to reach Mr*** numerous times since he contacted the Revdex.com, and we have left several messagesThus far, we haven't received a return call

We certainly apologize for the delay and frustration that MsSmith experiencedAs of now, her project is complete, with the exception of the guttersWe should have an installation date set up with MsSmith either today or tomorrowObviously, we'll find a time and date that is convenient for
both her and our installer

Allied's Senior Crew Leader Jay *** inspected the windows at Mr***'s houseJay has years of experience leading window installation crews.Jay's professional opinion is that Mr*** has a batch of bad glassHe is experiencing an insulated glass unit failureWhile that sometimes happens with windows, it certainly should not happen on the number of windows that Mr*** has experiencedThere is nothing wrong with the way that the windows are installedThey have been installed correctly and in accordance with ***'s best practices.Jay suggested that the windows should be cleaned so that it's easy for *** to acknowledge the IG failureThere is brown overspray on some of the windowsThe picture windows on the front have algae starting to grow on themJay suggested that the front windows should have larger weep holes or more weep holes to help them drain fasterThe operating windows have dirt and sap on them that would need to be cleaned so that it can be determined which windows have an IG failure.Once the windows have been cleaned, it should be easy to tell which windows have an IG failureIf it's an operating window, *** will generally replace the entire sash, which could be installed by Mr*** in under a minuteFor picture windows, *** will either replace the entire window or just the IGUEither approach would solve the issue for Mr***, but those corrections should be done by a trained window installer.Once Mr*** has a better idea of what needs to be installed by a trained professional, he's welcome to contact Allied and we'll be happy to give him a price for installing the replacement windows that he receives from ***.

The windows are properly installed, so Allied's installation warranty doesn't applyThe complaint here is really with the replacement of windows that have failed, which has two components - materials and labor - and is a manufacturer issue*** is honoring its stated warranty, which covers the
materialsThe labor portion of ***'s warranty was covered for the first two years of ownership, so the warranty for that has long expired. We suggest that the insurance company gets involved, as this is likely a result of house shifting, especially considering that this home was very near the eye of Hurricane Ike, which occurred six months after the windows were installed. If Allied is asked to handle the labor for installing the replacement materials, we'll be happy to do so at our standard rates

We have paid the remaining balance on this account and are waiting for an estimated timeline to have the following punch list completed.-screens reordered-Dented frame on upstairs window-A/C and Power line reattached to the home-minor drywall repair in play room, bathroom, and bedroom-roofing on patio cover repaired

We have been in touch with the customer and will get things taken care of Sorry for the delay Non emergency punch list items are put behind leaks / safety hazards, etc The delay was too long - our apology

A licensed HVAC person was hired to repair the AC unit.The home was painted by the original installer and repainted by the customer's request by a second installerAllied allows for one color for the siding and a second color for the trimIn this case, additional colors were requested, but that is
not part of our service offering

largely does.The troubling issue is that the job has been substantially complete since last year yet not paid in full Complete payment is needed before the punch list is complete.We will discount the job by $due to the delays on our end We have been patient with delays on your end but you should not deal with delays on our end.We will talk this morning
