Review: In March 2013, I contacted Medrano Express and requested their service to deliver a box to my family in Nicaragua. For this service I paid $325.00. For the service charge, pick up and delivery in Nicaragua and also $1,000.00 insurance.

They mailed the box via USP and one the box was packet a agent from the company came to my house and pick up the box. Their customer service personal provided me with 6-8 week for delivery. After this time I check with my sister in Nicaragua and she did not received the box. I contacted the Customer Service line and their response was that there was a delay.

a month later that there was problem with customs.

Then they will check and contact me back and it never happens.

I paid with a check and it cash on 03/**/2013.

I try contacting them and the phones are disconnect.

I need your assistance with this issue.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my box back, and also refund of the charges.

or I need a refund and the insurance

Review: I shipped goods to go to Nicaragua, C.A. with Medrano Express shipping company on March, **, 2013. I would call every few weeks to check if my box was delivered to my family and they would give the excuse that it was stuck in customs. It's six months later and the ###-###-#### that is listed is no longer in service. My goods have not been delivered and I paid $195 for this service.

Review: In December 2012 I packaged $600.00 worth of new items (clothing & shoes for which I have an itemized receipt) and entered into a contract with Medrano Express to have these items sent to Sulotan, El Slavador. I paid an additional $140.00 to Medrano Express to insure these items and to cover the cost of the box and shipping fees. By February 2013 I began calling Medrano to see why the box hadn't arrived. They kept telling me to wait two more weeks. I called every two weeks and went to their office in Hempstead in July. Again their answer was to wait two more weeks. As of the end of August 2013 they are no longer answering the phone and the box has still not arrived.Desired Settlement: I would like all expenses for shipping and the box repaid to me as well as the cost of the contents of the box for a total of $740.00.

Review: I sent a package to El Salvador at the end of 2012 hoping to have it deliver by February and until today they haven't deliver it and they don't answer any phone calls and I recently found out that they closed down the business in Hempstead.

They even offered me to pay an insurance which I did.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the insurance and full price of my lost package. And an additional $200 dollars for all the time I have lost trying to get in contact with them.

Review: I send a box 24x24x26 size, they charged me $207.50dlls. I send this box on Dec,*,2012 to my mother in law in Guatemala, but she haven't received this box, it's been a long time and they don't give me any information about my box. This company is not giving me any reason why my box is not in Guatemala yet. Since is a big box has a lot stuff in it. This box has new shoes, clothes for women and men, a used computer, toys and personal hygiene stuff. Please help me, I don't know what to do next. Review: Haven't received box that was shipped out in March *, 2013. I was told approximate delivery to Guatemala in about 6-8 weeks. Called several times and they said the package has been received and we should receive it by the end of May 2013. May 2013 has come and gone. Another phone call was made, same thing was said...we should receive our package by the end of May. Once again a phone call was made, same thing was said but we would receive the package the end of May...still no package. Another call to the company, they said it was being held up in customs but we will receive it in three weeks. Still no package. We insured this box for $500 and have paid $165 for them to send out the box/package. We are very disappointed in the company. We read that others have been having problems receiving their box/packages as well.Desired Settlement: We would like to receive a refund of the price we paid ($165) and the insured price of $500. Or get our box/package to us ASAP. thank you for your help!

Review: I requested that my caseworker file this compliant on my behalf. I am of Spanish descent would prefer that all literature sent to me be in Spanish.A package 20x20x20 of clothing estimated value $250.00 was pickup from my home to be delivered to Guatemala on January **, 2013. The company owed me a $145.00 refund and stated it would be used toward the delivery fee with an additional charge of $7.50, which brought the total to $152.50. I was informed that the package will take 2 months (8 weeks) to arrive at its destination. I contacted my family in Guatemala to inform them that the package will be arriving in 8 weeks. When the package did not arrive by April 2013, I contacted the company which informed me that it was accidently sent to Columbia to give it another 2 weeks. I called 2 weeks later and they stated it was in Niagara. Every time I contact this company, its a different story regarding my package. I called the beginning of June 2013, and was informed that the package has arrived in Guatemala, waiting to be delivered and should be patience. It has been Three weeks now and the company is no longer answering the phone and my family still has not received the package.Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the cost of the clothing $250.00, that was lost as well as the cost of the delivery fee $152.50, which brings the total to $402.50.

On February **, 2013 I send a box to my country Guatemala using Medrano Express services. I pay them $250.00 For the box plus$7.50 For insurance in case of any damage or anything that happended to the box. Also the valué of everything that was in the box between $500-600. As of today October ** 2013, my family have not receive the box in Guatemela and when I go and ask For information they said that they don't know anything. In other words they lost my box.Desired Settlement: I would like Medrano to pay me every pennie I spent to send the box.

Review: I send two boxes on 3/**/13 to El Salvador and they say its going to take about two months to deliver it, however my family haven't received anything. I tried to call the company but nobody answers. The woman that was working there told me that I must pay insurance so I did. The value of my boxes is near $1,000. Review: Medrano Express picked up a box on November * or November **, 2012. It was suppose to be delivered by January 2013 to Nicaragua. It is now 8 months later and the box was NEVER delivered. They are not responding to my inquiry as to what is the status of my delivery. They state that the box is in customs but it has been 5 months and there has been no progress or further information provided as to the delivery of my box which hold precious personal possessions. Review: On 02-**-2013 I paid to Medrano Express the amount of $336.00 charged to my Amex card for the shipping & delivery of a box (34x26x28) with goods (clothes, shoes, etc.) to my family in El Salvador (Central America). As of today 06-**-2013 no delivery has been made yet. When I paid for the service I was told the box would be delivered within 2 months, which would have been 04-**-2013. After several phone calls placed back in April & May, I was told that customs in El Salvador is holding all the containers and they do not know when it will be released to Medrano Express in El Salvador for distribution. During the first week of June, I at least called 5 different locations of Medrano Express nationwide & also location in El Salvador, no one answered their phone or returned any of the messages left on their answering machines. My shipment was also insured for $700.00 in case of loss. I asked when the delivery will be considered lost so I could get the amount it was insured for. Medrano Express said it is not lost, it just has not been released for distribution in El Salvador. My address at the time of the shipment was [redacted] & my house phone # was ###-###-####, cell phone remained the same. I am registered under old address & old house phone #.Desired Settlement: I am requesting the delivery of the goods to my family in El Salvador at this time or the reimbursement of $700.00 (3 % additional cost paid for insurance in case of loss).

Medrano Express never contacted me directly or returned any of my many messages via phone or email. About a week ago, I received a phone call directly from family in El Salvador stating they received the shipment in a sealed box and no missing items.

Review: I sent a package to my family in Honduras on 2-**-13 using MEDRANO EXPRESS. The package was to arrive in 8 weeks and as of today , 8-**-13 the package still has not arrived. I called customer service several times and they said it was at intake in San Pedro Sula. Now when I call customer service they dont answer and it said that there isn't any service to the number I am calling.Desired Settlement: I paid insurance on the package for 700.00 US dollars. I would like my money plus interest.

Review: Medrano picked up three packages to be delivered to Nicaragua to my dauther's home. Three separate pickups and packages and she never received them.

Necessary items were never delivered to her and she has already had her baby and these items were very important for her because my family has very little and not able to purchase items for my granddaughter.

I am very disappointed that these items were never received.

I paid 189.00, 167.00 and 154.00 to have these box delivered. That excludes the value of the items in each boxDesired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the value of the items shipped which was more than I insured the boxes for. My preference would have been to have the items delivered, but if that cannot be done, I would like a refund of amounts paid for delivery and insured amount.

Review: On 12/**/2012, I shipped a box (Family presents for X-MAS) with this company to Honduras which has not arrived or been delivered yet. I have called, email and submitted claims through company website and no replies yet. I am only able to speak to a representative when I use someone else phone number and they always say the same that the parcels are in Honduran's custom and they will be delivering in 30 days.I went to the store address from where I got the invoice #: [redacted] ([redacted]) and its closed. I also have an invoice #: [redacted] with address: [redacted] I don't know what else to do in order to resolved this issue. I paid $155.00 to deliver this box.Desired Settlement: If they are not able to delivery box (gifts and presents for family) or box is lost then I want them to pay or refund all expenses ($1,200.00) I did for gift purchase for my family. The box was delivery on 12/**/2012 and was suppossed to be deliver 6-8 weeks. The excuses I received all time when they have answered my phone call is that container is still in Customs in Honduras. Thats not possible after 7 months. My name is [redacted]. I am a Colombian teacher who sent out a box through Medrano Express around 7 months ago but unfortunally it hasn�´t been delivered yet. So, I have called to the customer service phone ([redacted]) but they do not give me any specific information about when they are going to schedule the delivery of my merchandise, nor give me any tracking number neither the location of it. Because, several times I have said them (if you got the box in any department of Colombia, just let me know where it is that I can go to pick it up) but they do not reply any successful response. That�´s why I am emailing you in order to find out any kind of help you can provide me, because there are many important things that I sent out inside that box, and my clothes as well. I left the country a day before sent out this box and since date I haven�´t received any news.

4. The resolution you believe is fair

What I needing from them is that they must drop off the box ASAP, due to there are many important things that I sent out inside it, like certifications, clothes, some gifts for my family and so on. Also, they must pay up something extra for its awful service and delay. they didn�´t fulfill what they promised. It was gonna be delivered within 4 or 5 weeks and they never meant that I had to await for more than 6 months.

Review: My complain to medrano express company.that this it's the first time that they make me afraud of not sending my package to the address that they supposed to do. When I wast washing the news channel 41 that's we're I knew about the fraud of this company. I always use this agency to send my packages. I feel des appointed cause the people that serve me they were so nice to me.Desired Settlement: I just want them to paid me back what they stoled me. Cause Iam one more victim of them. Review: I sent a package to Nicaragua using medrano express services, medrano picked the package in february of this year, tell me the delivery was going to take as a maximum of 6 weeks. after the six weeks the package never arrived in nicaragua and I kept calling them asking for the reason and when the package was going to arrive to my family members. The answer was always the same: package is in the costume ( aduana) and they could not tell me when the package was going to be release. Seven months has passed and little by little my calls were not answered and sudently by the news, I found out that Medrano Express closed and my package is now lost.

I contact Consumer Affair and complaint about it, over the phone and they asked me to got on line to file a complaint, a couple weeks later I received in the mail a form to complete , send copies of the few documents I have, also received a letter/form from Roanoke Trade, asking for almost the same documentation.Desired Settlement: If the package can not be recovered, at least I would like to recover the money I invested. I has been praying to God to give me a solution to this matter, and I have faith I will find it through you.
