Review: Medrano Express is a shipping company that has many offices throughout the U.S. Me and my wife decided to use Medrano Express this year as we wanted to ship items to our families living in poverty in El Salvador, Central America. On 1/6/13, me and my wife personally went to Medrano Express located at 305 East Front St., Plainfield NJ. We requested two boxes and were told to fill up the boxes with items and when boxes are complete, give them a call so that someone can up pick up the boxes. It took me and my wife approximately 3 months to fill up the boxes as we purchased items in different stores. On April 7, 2013, the two labeled boxes with the destination and my return address were picked up. I was promised that the boxes will be received in El Salvador in 6 to 8 weeks. After the 8 weeks, I began to call my mother and my mother in law to check if the boxes were received but I was advised that boxes were never received. I then called Medrano Express and was informed not to worry because the boxes will be received by my family in El Salvador and to give them a little time because they were having issues with customs. We waited three more weeks and my wife called, the was told the same thing, she was told to be patient because the families will receive their box. Two weeks went by and our families did not receive the merchandise so we reached out to Medrano Express again but this time all phone numbers were out of service and we were unable to speak with anyone at Medrano Express. A month passed with hopes that someone from Medrano Express would reach out to us or that boxes arrived to their destination. On Monday, September 3, ,2013, a relative told us that the Medrano Express office located in Plainfield, NJ was having a sale. Me and wife travelled to the office and learned that the landlord of the building opened the boxes and was selling the items in the boxes. We contacted the police about the issue but were not supported and were turned away.Desired Settlement: We would like to get our money and boxes back because we spent a lot of money to send items to our relatives. We would also like for the landlord of the building to give the boxes back to the owners of the box and not sell the items that clearly do not belong to him Medrano Express, they belong to hard working individuals who wanted their relatives to have nice things from the U.S. . In addition there have been many people affected by Medrano Express and they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.

Review: On 12/23/2012, I shipped a box (Family presents for X-MAS) with this company to Honduras which has not arrived or been delivered yet. I have called, email and submitted claims through company website and no replies yet. I am only able to speak to a representative when I use someone else phone number and they always say the same that the parcels are in Honduran's custom and they will be delivering in 30 days.

I went to the store address from where I got the invoice #: [redacted]-** ([redacted] NY 11550) and its closed. I also have an invoice #: [redacted] with address: [redacted] NJ 07060

I don't know what else to do in order to resolved this issue. I paid $155.00 to deliver this box.Desired Settlement: I am looking for an explanation of what its next? If the box was lost then this company has to re-pay/refund for all the gift merchandise inside the box.

Review: On September 13th 2012 I went into the Medrano Express location to order supplys and ship items threw their company. After purchasing a box the size of 20x20x28 and additonal insurance to cover all items I were to have shipped threw this company, I was guaranteed a 5-7 weeks delivery time frame. Currently as of May 1st, 2013 My package still has not arrived to its desired location and every time I call I receive multiple excuses as to when is the projected time of delivery. It has been well exceeded the 5-7 weeks they orginially guaranteed me on the delivery and no offical notice of when I can expect for the delivery to take place. On May 13th, 2013 it will be going on 8 full months with no delivery and no information provided to me. I am unable to file for the insurance for the box sent as I am getting the complete run around from the company.Desired Settlement: I would like to know what is happening with the box that was shipped, and would like a complete refund for the delivery charges. If the items shipped were lost or stolen I would like for the delivery charges to be refund as well as my insurance claim for the box to move into the processing state. I would also like an apololgy for lack of service rendered and the run around I have received from this company.

Review: On 04/02/2013 Medrano express pick up a large box to be delivery to Nicaragua. Delivery price $335 .

No box was ever deliver, and I am told to wait. At this time I ask, how long do I Waite?Desired Settlement: A refund of delivery and what is in box.

7. I called many times to the telephones in the USA and Nicaragua and there is no answer. I am afraid the Medrano Express is out of business.

I am placing a complaint against Medrano Express, I requested a box to be delivered to Managua Nicaragua on 4/30/2013. The box was picked up from my home on 5/27/2013 they stated that my box will be delivered 6-10 weeks. It now has been longer than the estimated time. I have called numerous times for a status on my package all of the numbers provided have been disconnected. I have sent an email to there company and have yet to receive a confirmation on the whereabouts of my package. I have asked for my money back and my package I have not received one email or call back from the company. The value of my was of $250.00 plus the price of the box which was 152.50 a total of 402.50. I need to have my money back or know the whereabouts of my package. Thank youDesired Settlement: Please have them pay me back.

Review: I had shipped a box with Medrano Express Dec. 24, 2012. I had the box insured as well. They told me that it would be a 4-8 week delivery time, which made delivery between Jan. 21, 2013 through Feb. 18, 2013. I called weekly from Jan. 18, 2013 until present day. If I was able to get ahold of someone I was told my box was in customs and to wait. The service that I paid for, shipping a box in 4-8 weeks, has not been provided. When I explained to them this and I wanted to consider it lost they told me they would not give me anything until it is out of customs. It is now going on twelve weeks and my family has yet to receive their gifts and I am completely disappointed in the lack of professional service from Medrano Express. I feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place. I don't want to lose the box because it is filled with family gifts however it is taking more than was promised.Desired Settlement: I want the box refunded as well as all the contents, worth $5000.00.

Review: On November 2,2011 I Sent a box To Honduras with a couple of Items including a Playstation,and a Laptop wich was later reported when delivered at final destination [redacted], Honduras as Stolen or lost, I contact their business here in US and took them almost one year to finally agree to offer a refund $ 100.00 or another box valued in $300.00 to be mailed by their company whenever it was convenient for me, wich I decided to Trust them again and agree to sent my family another box with items (used and New)included for a declared value of $500.00 wich was the compensattion for the previous lost items, November 12,2012 with to todays date March 4, 2013 hasnt been delivered I have been trying to contact them without any luck, please help me because I feel this is very unfair and I have a felling that this hasnt happen not only to our Family!

Review: A good friend of mine returned to his native country of Honduras and on December 17/2012 he shipped a box via Medrano Express with the agreement that the goods will reach its destination within 8 weeks and to-date this box remains un-deliverable. My friend has called the company numerous time and no one ever answers the phone. I personally went to the office 3/2/13 and spoke to the receptionist named [redacted], who informed me the box was in customs in Honduras and that sometimes it may take up to 6 months to be released???? I have been calling to find out the status to no avail. I went online and there are numerous complaints with the same issue. I understand that the company is not accredited with Revdex.com but is there any way this company gets investigated and possibly fined and/or closed permanently as they are ripping people off. What a disgrace and embarrassment to the Hispanic community.Desired Settlement: Have them honor the agreement and deliver the product
