Review: I sent 2 packages with this company to Mexico in July. As of today, 11/**, packages have never been delivered. Been in communication with company for several months now and all they can tell me is that the packages are en route. Requested numerous times to speak with a manager, but no luck. Told the mgr. will call back or is not there.Tryed calling a home office, but also no luck. Asked for compensation of some sort and was told no way. All of my patience is goneDesired Settlement: Cost of delivery service of 590.00. This doesn't include the cost of lost merchandise. Not sure what value to put on this

Review: On 11/**/12 a package was picked up at my residence to be shipped to Guatemala. When said package was picked up we were advised that it would be received before the holidays. It is 7/**/13 and the package not only has not been received it has been nearly impossible to reach this company to find out what the delay is. The phone numbers provided on their website and complaint form available on their website are not responded to. Finally I attempted to contact the main office in New York and the operator that answered, after three attempts with no answer, advised me that the website is not monitored and the complaints filed on the website are rarely responded to due to lack of agents. This is not what the form states "within 24 hours" is what the response time is expected to be according to their website. I filled out two forms and yet none has been responded to. The invoice number listed on the receipt provided to me also is not correct according to their records. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a shipping company and the lack of concern to the customer and their missing product is appalling.Desired Settlement: To be advised on the situation as to why the package has not been received and not just "It is in the container". Contact information to be updated on the status of the delivery of said package and estimated time of such. Closure of the website if not being monitored or updated without false information or expectations listed.

Review: Medrano Express never delivered my package which cost me a total of $1,820.00. Review: It's been over 10 Months that I sent a box through this company (Medrano Express) with cloth, hand creams, toys and shoes for my family back in El Salvador. Up to this date Tuesday, August **, 2013 at 7:02 pm there is not signal that my box is been delivered nor explanation to what's gonna be the outcome. If any one find themselves in the same situation. Review: I contracted Transporte Medrano or Medrano Express to deliverer 2 boxes of household items to my country Nicaragua since March ** 2013, is at this date and have no information vwhere my boxes are. I have paid for such services a total of us$ 493 , Chase Manhattan Bank checks # [redacted] & [redacted]. The checks were deposited on Bank of America , NY10, Tranporte Medrano acct # [redacted].

At this time Is very difficult to contact them because at this moment this company have serious problems, they doesn't answer the calls, when they respond is to say excuses for the delay. They have hundreds if not thousands of complaints, the situation is at national level , and the problem is in Latin America.

Is very imperative that some authorities help us to stop this fraud and to help us to recover our properties and money.

The company funds must be frozen to avoid these people send our money outside de country.

Maybe Revdex.com agency already have the knowledge that this is a Federal problem, that The Federal Maritime Commission has received more than 300 cases against Medrano Express or Transporte Medrano ( FMC License #[redacted], even the bond insurer [redacted] ([redacted] and [redacted]) has been receiving claims from some Medrano Express customers. As you can imaging the magnitude of this problem has reached the category of a big fraud , a big scale fraud that is involving hundreds of persons affected and hundreds of thousands dollars.

Medrano Express, is playing with the laws and the agencies that protects the consumer and oversee the behavior of this business. Evading the law and avoiding to face the problem with responsibility they are closing several, if not all the branches across the country, and opening other companies with other names, but under the management and ownership of the same members of the Medrano family. Even they recently start opening another business across the country, the most recent is Icargoshipping Services( [redacted]) is located in the same area where it was located the central office of Medrano Express ( [redacted] ) this business was open and is under the ownership of [redacted], wife of [redacted] , owner of Medrano Express. All this information have been recollected on a [redacted] page (VICTIMAS DE MEDRANO EXPRESS), where many of the affected Medrano Express customers post their despair, impotence, and inconformity, hoping to receive the help from the government agencies to receive answers, and a solution of this immense problem. That is why we are appealing to the government and law enforcement agencies to help us to stop this persons to continue harming working families.

Review: I have tried to reach Medrano Express various of time. I had send a box to El Salvador on 3/*/13. they said that usually it only takes 6 to 8 weeks. until this day my family has not receive the box. we have tried to reach them to their office in El Salvador and the phones are disconnected now. same here in new york.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a refund if the box is not delivered or found.

Review: This is a international shipping company which I hired to send items to Nicaragua. The box of items were picked up by Medrano February [redacted]. The company was paid by check which the company cashed a week later. On the company's website and I was also told by phone that delivery of the items is made within 4 to 6 weeks. It has been over 16 weeks and the items still have not been delivered. I called in April and was told they would be delivered in May. In May still no delivery. I tried calling numerous times to the 800 number and to the local office in Hempstead and it is impossible to get someone on the phone. I called again today June [redacted] and was finally able to get someone. Yet again that person told me that I still had to wait. According to this person the box is being held in customs and there was not timeframe of delivery. I stated that I wanted my items back and my money. If that was not possible I paid insurance for the items and that I wanted the dollar amount of the insurance and a refund of what I paid. I was told that I had to wait until the box was delivered before I could file an insurance claim. I asked how long I had to wait and the person told me he didn't know. I told him that I had waited long enough I did not want to wait another 4 months for them to tell me the same thing. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I was told that the supervisor would tell me the same thing.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $245 that was paid to ship the items and $1000 which was the value of the items shipped.

Since June **,2012, the above referenced company came and picked up a box with various articles of clothing, towels, sheets, and shoes. These were items that I had gathered so that I could send to my family, that live in poverty, that very much need that clothes. Included within the box were also school supplies for my nieces and nephews. There were also toiletries as well. I spent a lot of money putting this together, and had delivery charges as well.Desired Settlement: The box back with all the items in it, or the cost for the shipping and handling, and the items. The whole cost is around $500.00

Review: I used Medrano Express' services to ship a big box full of clothes and shoes and a few other things to Mexico but they never delivered it to the destination. It has been more than a year and a half now since I used their services and every time I went to their office and asked about my shipment they would tell me it was being retained by the customs office to check if there was anything illegal inside. They kept saying that to me for 8 months until I went back to ask them again and they were no longer in their office, all I found was an empty office with a leasing sign on the window. Medrano should have at least contact me to let me know my shipment was not going to be delivered and give it back to me so I could send it with another company but instead they didn't say anything, they kept my belongings and closed their business; even though I visit them to know the status of my shipment a week before they emptied their office. This is really unfair. I spent a lot of money buying things for my family, and what hurts the most is that I bought every single item with much love and for Medrano to just keep my things makes me mad because they don't know the value of love for family. Every single item was bought with special love.Desired Settlement: I would like for Medrano Express to please return my box with all its contents.

If they don't have my box anymore I want a refund and an explanation of what happen to my box, but I really would like to get my shipment box back.

Review: I requested a package to be sent on 3/*/13. It was picked up and should have been received with in 45 days in Guatemala, Central America. The package has not been received. Every time I go to the office to inquire I am advised that it will arrive in three weeks. It has been more than six months and I haven't received a refund or any explanation for the delay.Desired Settlement: If the package has been lost I want a refund for the value of the items included in the box and a refund for the service charge. The box has a declared value of $500. The service charge was for $215.

Review: I contact this company at the end of February asking information, prices & method to send a shipment to my country Nicaragua, after they explain the prices they agree to bring personal the boxes to pack my goods giving a deposit or U$ 20.00 4each box, after that, and when I was ready with the thing they will pick it up also with no charge. So I founded very convenience and comfortable. I went to all the procedure and when they came I pay the services 4 (2) boxes and a 42" TV - the TV was not packed they cover it with a temporary box until get to the warehouse where they had to do a wood box according to the measuring of the TV to go secure. They check everything it seems ok.and pay the amount of U$ 1,087.00. So it was a matter or 6 to 8 weeks for the shipment to get to my family door to door. It's been 5-6 months now and my things never arrive my family and I been calling to put pressure and they always give excuses like: the merchandise was already in custom to wait 2 more weeks cause there was a problem and to be patient ., but now they disappear and the telephones are disconnected, the offices no longer exist and Nobody knows nothing about it. They robbed my things. I HAVE ALL RECEIPTS, BILLS, PROOF OF MY TRANSACTION AND COPY OF THE CHECK, PICTURE OF THE TV. ETC.-Desired Settlement: 1st. Put this people where they belong (in jail)give them a lesson....2nd. I want my things back, completely .. including the TV I send.3rd. option:: MY REFUND, WHAT I PAYED ... even know I been wasting more money seen I send the merchandise and with all this procedure., calling, papers etc.

Review: I sent two boxes from Richmond, VA to Colombia (South America), one on February 27th/2013 and the other one on March 2nd/2013. They told me that the boxes would be shipped in three weeks, it's been five months since that and I haven't gotten any of the boxes!! The office in Richmond is close and nobody answers the phone, not in Richmond nor in any other state! Review: On march 16,2013 I sent a package to Colombia using the services of this company.As I was filling out the papers I asked them clearly " how long it'll take to the package to be delivered at that address"? their answer was two to three weeks ( 2-3). Today is june 1, 2013( exactly 80 days) and my package hasn't arrived yet.My frustration gets worse when I called them to their local office number and their 1800 number; there's no answer( I'd called them at least 15 times) and for the last four calls I'd tried leaving a message and there's no answer yet.I've read reviews online (really bad btw) about them and I found that their common answer to this issue with their costumers is " your package is in costumes in your country and we don't know when are they going to release it". There's no probe they delivered the package to that point and the situation gets more sketchy when they don't even answer their phone.Desired Settlement: I had paid an insurance for this package but due to the irresponsibility of this company and the importance of my stuff I want full refund for the cost of the parts, insurance and damages (Since this piece was suppose to be fixed in Colombia and returned to the States delaying my project).

They have repeated told me that it is in Nicaragua, but every attempt has been made to locate it and all the offices are closed and no one answers the phone in this country or any other country.Desired Settlement: That the box is delivered would be my greatest hope.
