At time of purchase, potential buyers have the
opportunity to inspect the vehicle they are purchasing from the selling
dealership and/or to take it to their mechanic for a thorough evaluationMr
*** signed and agreed to, with the selling dealership a
“Limited Power Train Warranty”, at the
time of purchase, at no additional costs to the customer
On June 08, we received a call from Mr
*** complaining of a smell coming from under the hood, as well as stability
control light onAn appointment was scheduled for the customer to bring the
unit in for diagnostics; however the customer did not keep the appointment
Additional calls made to the customer as follow up to reschedule the service
appointment were not returnedFrom June 08, 2015, until the day the vehicle was surrendered on
August 05, 2015, there were no additional complaints documented regarding
continued service issues In closing, from
the time of sale (05/16/2015) until the day the unit was secured (08/05/2015),
there were 2,miles added to the vehicle
Unfortunately,
the money’s paid towards the account are non refundable as requestedIn
closing, the signed “Motor Vehicle Retail
Installment Contract” is a legal binding contractSince the obligation to
pay in full was not satisfied as per the original agreement, you are still
responsible and we are unable to remove the credit bureau reporting that
indicates the unit was repossessed and there may be a balance due Please feel free to contact our office

I am rejecting this response because:This does not answer the complaint at allThere is a balance on my account that should have been taken care ofI have spent over $in repairs on this carI have you the receipts for this alsoI only gave you half due to me taking care of one issue myselfI was supposed to be credited when I called back in November of for having to replace the whole brake systemThey tell me I get a credit If I pay a billWhat kind of business is that? This isn't a negotiationYour vehicle had problems that should not have occurred and you said you would credit meMy account needs to reflect this creditsI want the money I spent in this car reflected on my payment.

Repairs were further made and the customer picked up the vehicle on Sept 8thI checked in with the customer on Sept and she explained that she is satisfied with the repairs

On 9/26, customer called in stating unit was overheating, we towed unit back to *** *** as they had just replaced tank recovery hose on unit. *** *** repaired unit under their warranty and did not charge customer and we (MEI Auto Finance) waived the tow charges as well. We have reviewed this customer's issue two specific times and sent the vehicle for an external review and repair. The vehicle was repaired at this external shop (AutoChoice) and the customer was not required to pay any additional charges

first and for must we want to apologized for the inconvenience, the part of the vehicle that needs to be repair is not cover under the warranty, however we want to provided you with some assistance while you repair the vehicleplease reach out to the finance Director *** *** and he will

I am rejecting this response because: This company is providing informationMy attorney spoke to MEI/Automaxx several times in March after this Bankruptcy was filed in which it was confirmed they received notice of the bankruptcyIn addition, I myself spoke to separate rude managers in March who confirmed knowing I was in bankruptcy which is why they insisted on not taking any action with picking up the vehicle that was left by *** ***. The bankruptcy papers were not sent to wrong address as it is clearly listed as correct on the bankruptcy papersThis again is their attempt to deceiveIf they weren't aware of the bankruptcy, why did they call my attorney in March after the vehicle was left there asking if I was going to keep the vehicle?

note the items referenced in Ms. [redacted]'s complaint are not covered by her
warranty. The warranty covers internal lubricated parts only. I have uploaded

Ms. [redacted] purchased a vehicle from one of our locations in December 2016. Ms. [redacted]contacted our service department on March 23, 2017 stating she had taken the vehicle to an outsidemechanic and was advised that she needed some transmission work that was covered under her warranty.Mrs....

[redacted] was not satisfied at the time that we would not be able to provide her with a loaner vehiclewhile her vehicle was being repaired. Mrs. [redacted] was advised at the time that in order for a loanervehicle to be provided she needed to have a drivers license being that the vehicles are loaned out throughour rental company as well as one needed to be available. Mrs. [redacted] did not bring her car into serviceat that time. On July 5, 2017 Mrs. [redacted] brought the vehicle into our service department and she wasadvised that the vehicle needed a water pump and was quoted a price of $345 which MEI would break upinto a payment plan if she need too. The warranty deductible for the transmission repair was $100.00 andMEI would be willing to work with her on that payment as well. Mrs. [redacted] allowed MEI to repair thewater pump however refused service on the transmission because she stated she needed transportation.As of today August 23, 2017; Ms. [redacted] has not brought the vehicle into service for the transmissionservice it needs; the continued wear and tear on the transmission after it has been diagnosed as needingmechanical repair will be voided by the warranty unless she allows MEI to service it. If Ms. [redacted] hasrepair bills she would like to request a review for compensation/ credit on she would need to provide MEIwith a copy of the receipt as well as the opportunity to inspect the vehicle and verify the repairs have beenmade. Our goal is to sell quality used vehicles by performing a very detailed inspection andreconditioning process for each vehicle sold. Unfortunately these are still used vehicles requiringregular maintenance. Also all of our customers sign a delivery and acceptance form that clearly indicates that they fully inspected the vehicle being purchased and are happy with it.Our goal is to sell quality used vehicles by performing a very detailed inspection and Thursday reconditioning process for each vehicle sold. Unfortunately these are still used vehicles requiring regular maintenance, with some of our customers very unrealistic with their expectations and demands as this particular customer.Additionally Mei Auto Finance, Inc. is a company that finances many of our customer’s loans and is fully compliant with all Federal and State lending regulations.Ms [redacted] has been a customer of MEI since February 2014; since the origination of the loan Ms. [redacted] has verbally agreed to receive a total of 4 extensions on the following dates 7/25/2014, 12/25/2014, 8/25/215, and 8/25/2016. MEI does not charge a fee for an extension our goal is to try to provide all of our customers the opportunity to keep their account in good standing. Please see attached receipts made at the time the extension were granted, the payment received was to cover the insurance due not the p&I payment. Ms [redacted] has a good pay history and is a valuable customer.We apologize for any frustration Ms. [redacted] may have encountered during these time. Ms [redacted] became an MEI customer on October 16, 2015.  MEI received a phone call on  March 14, 2016 from Ms [redacted] sating the vehicle as located at [redacted] and that the manager [redacted] had possession of the keys she was wanting to voluntarily surrender the vehicle. On...

March 16, 2016 we received a call from a lady that worked at AUTOMAXX that our vehicle had been dropped off at their location after the vehicle had been in an accident while the manager from [redacted] was driving it [redacted]. This loan was treated as a voluntary repossession being that we never received any correspondence from the Bankruptcy court for Ms [redacted].  After receiving this complaint we have pulled the Bankruptcy docket and verified that paperwork was submitted to the wrong company therefore we were not notified that this vehicle was included in a Bankruptcy discharge. The information will be updated with the IRS and reflect the 1099- C line 6 as “A”.          We apologize for any frustration Ms. [redacted] may have encountered during these time. Issue has been resolved to customer's satisfaction. The supervisor of the title department ([redacted]) contacted the customer to apologize for the inconvenience, and explained to customer the reason the temp. tag was not sent on 11/23/16. Explained to customer that the tax office was closed by...

the time the porter got there, and then closed 11/24 - 11/25 due to the holidays. The temp. tag was obtained on Monday as priority to make sure we provide good customer service. The supervisor contacted Ms. [redacted] to let her know the temp. tag was emailed to her, and made sure she received it.

I've rejected the response because the first item listed on the "systems covered" is the engine.
