Mrs. [redacted] purchased a vehicle from one of our locations in October of 2015. On March 6,2017 Mrs. [redacted] voluntarily surrendered the vehicle to MEI. On May 17, 2017 the vehicle in questionwas sold to another individual; paperwork was submitted to our corporate office for registration...

purposes.However the following day May 18, 2017 the vehicle was involved in an accident. MEI had no intentionof keeping the vehicle under Mrs. Vigils name after the sale. We apologize for any inconvenience thismay have caused. The title registration was completed on 6/26/2017. Attached is a copy of the TexasDepartment of Motor vehicle registration where it reflects the title was transferred effective May 17, 2017Should Mrs. [redacted] have any other concerns or questions regarding the service and or credit requested shecan reach me directly at ###-###-#### [redacted], and I will be happy to discuss anyfurther concerns and or questions she may have. has every desire to address Mrs. [redacted]’s needs; we have every intention to
provide the best solution available to resolve any issue as soon as possible. 
On September 28,...

2015 we received a
call from Mrs. [redacted].  She advised us that
her contractual due dates should have imaged her pay days, to ensure her
payments would be received on time.  At
that time we advised Mrs. [redacted] that she would need to go back to the
dealership where she purchased the vehicle to have them correct the due
date.  Mrs. [redacted] did not return to the
dealership to correct the issue.
Since then, we have performed a due
date change to reflect Mrs. [redacted]’s pay dates, as well as reapplied payments  to ensure that payments were credited  correctly.
On November 24, 2015 we reached out
to Mrs. [redacted] and advised her of status of her account. She was informed the contractual
due dates were changed to the 15th and 1st of each month,
as well as the payments being applied reapplied to be disbursed accordingly. At
this time this case has been closed.

The warranty covers "Internal Lubricated Parts Only". We have previously uploaded a copy of the warranty for reference. Regards,[redacted]

I have personally spoken to the customer and confirmed that her telephone number has been removed from her electronic file to prevent further calls to her. Additionally, we have confirmed proper insurance coverage on her vehicle and the insurance we placed on the account has been removed.  We have credited the amount of money she paid towards that insurance policy premium to her monthly payment. She acknowledged that she has accepts and appreciates our efforts to resolve her complaint and we consider the complaint closed.

Mrs. [redacted] [redacted] MEI did not receive any documentation of any repairs being completed in May of 2015. Unfortunately that was over two (2) years ago and we would not be able to retro back to that day.  Your account is currently past due three (3) bi-weekly payments. You have been advised to make consecutive payments bi-weekly as stated in your contract in order to qualify for assistance of an extension.  Our vehicles are sold AS IS with no warranty- however we do attempt to assist our customers when repairs are needed if and when their account is current. I will be happy to review any repair bills you have pertaining to the current delinquency in 2017. Once you make your regular bi-weekly payment consecutively in 30 days we will be happy to grant you an extension. The last payment we received was posted June 14, 2017.  You are currently due for 6/16/2107 $265.00, 6/30/2017 $265.00, and 7/14/2017 $265.00 for a total of $795.00. There is a balance of late fees for $26.50 which we will waive as soon as we receive the minimum of one payment.  Please feel free to contact me directly at 817-342-0222 ext 6107 to further discuss.  I have attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] at no avail. Our business hours are Monday – Friday 8AM -7 PM and Saturday from 8AM -5PM. Re: Case Number [redacted] Consumer Name: [redacted] Dear B.B.B:        We are proud to be one of the largest Independent Automobile Dealers in the Metroplex, selling approximately 300 vehicles a month. The majority of our customers are referred to us by...

other happy customers.      We give all of our customers the opportunity to check out the vehicle they are purchasing thoroughly and to take it to their mechanic. Also all of our customers sign a delivery and acceptance form that clearly indicates that they fully inspected the vehicle being purchased and are happy with it.         Our goal is to sell quality used vehicles by performing a very detailed inspection and reconditioning process for each vehicle sold. Unfortunately these are still used vehicles requiring regular maintenance, with some of our customers very unrealistic with their expectations and demands as this particular customer.             Additionally Mei Auto Finance, Inc. is a company that finances many of our customer’s loans and is fully compliant with all Federal and State lending regulations.   The customers vehicle has been serviced by our service department and has been released to the customer on Sept 2, 2016. The vehicle was diagnosed with a power steering that was misrouted and kinked causing an issue with the PC pump. The issue was repaired and was released to the customer without charge.

Mr. [redacted] purchased his vehicle on Friday June 5, 2015
from the selling dealership. On Monday, June 8, 2015 on behalf of MEI Auto
Finance, Inc, Mr. [redacted]’s account manager reached out to him to complete our
welcome call.  The welcome call
introduces the customer to MEI...

Auto Finance, Inc. and details and verifies the
terms of the Retail Motor Vehicle Installment contract are true and correct.
The verification process includes confirmation of the following:  (a) Year, Make, Model of the vehicle
purchased (b) Payment frequency and amount (c) Defer down where applicable (d) First
payment due date (e)verified customers information as accurate (f)discuss
payment options available and (g)provide customer with our contact information . 
 
On Thursday, June 11, 2015, Mr. [redacted] received a
courtesy email reminding of the defer down payment due date June 12, 2015. There
were several attempts to reach customer via phone June 12, 2015 through June
16, 2015, were unreturned. Shortly thereafter, Mr. [redacted] made two
arrangements regarding the deferred down that were unkept/broken.  
 
On Monday, June 22, 2015 the MEI Management Team reached
out and spoke with Mr. [redacted].  A
mutual agreement was reached in reference to the deferred down payment. This
issue has now been resolved.

customer throughout the years; we apologize for any miscommunication that has occurred. Our goal at MEI is to stay in communication with our customers to ensure that their account stays in good standing. We regret that the follow-up calls and or emails to Mr. [redacted] have felt like harassment.  We would like to assure Mr. [redacted] that that we had/have no intention of causing him any distress.  If and when an account is past due and we do not have an arrangement our goal is to contact our customer to find a resolution. I reviewed the dates Mr. [redacted] stated he had spoken to us  11/2/2015 we did not speak to Mr. [redacted]; we did speak to him on 11/11/2015 he called in made a payment and advised us he would be emailing his insurance policy 5/1/2017 we did not speak to Mr. [redacted], we did speak to him on 5/31/217 he advised us he had had some repairs on the vehicle which caused him to fall behind on the payment. I have attached a copy of Mr. [redacted]s pay history to reflect every payment he has made  on the account. All payments have been applied according to his contract. Should Mr. [redacted] have any other concerns he can reach me; [redacted] and I will be happy to discuss any concerns and or questions he may have. This was not a repossession it was a surrender and also I did not receive  said other  calls to reschedule and I also did call again to complain so you as a company will never recieve another dime from me also I have posted reviews on your company none of them good so have fun with the p.o.s you sold me
