Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Thank you for your message and your assistance, it was greatly appreciatedAlthough I did get some resolution to my complaint, I still feel that this company was not truthful with their disclosure of the facts with regard to their advertisements, contracts and overall descriptions of the sale and trade in of my vehicleWhile renegotiating the sale of the vehicle, I pointed out to the sales manager that the salesperson had assured my wife that the small crack in the windshield would be fixed and someone would come to our home to fix itThis however was never done nor was the missing front floor mat ever replaced as promisedI have come to the conclusion that this dealership is extremely dishonest and management knows and allows their staff to lie to potential customers in order to sell carsI have since discovered that a CD from the last owner is stuck in the CD Player but I know that contacting the dealership to have it removed would be a waste of timeI will never do business with Mid Island Hyundai again Sincerely, [redacted]

After reviewing the Customer’s ( [redacted] ***) complaint, we have concluded that Mid-Island Hyundai (the “Dealership”) has done no wrongAs indicated in the complaint, the Dealership did receive a deposit from the Customer for a Hyundai – VIN#- [redacted] (“VEHICLE A”)However, due to an internal miscommunication VEHICLE A was sold to a different customerThe advertised price of VEHICLE A was $13,997, which was a typo or mistakeVEHICLE A had under 5,miles and should have been advertised at a much higher sales priceThe dealership sold the vehicle at the advertised priceAfter informing the Customers that VEHICLE A was sold, the Dealership had offered the customer a Hyundai – VIN# [redacted] (“VEHICLE B”) at the sale price of $13,The Dealership had only offered this sale price for VEHICLE B because of its mistake of selling VEHICLE AThis offer was only available to the CustomerThe advertised sale price of VEHICLE B is $16,The customer did not want to purchase VEHICLE BThe Dealership offered another vehicle for the same price of $13,which the customer refused as wellThe Dealership had tried to offer the customer two different vehicles to the customer, both below their advertised price but the customer refusedThe Dealership has already refunded the deposit to the customerBy virtue of the foregoing, the Dealership does not believe that they have done anything wrong and is not in a position to offer any form of settlementThis complaint should not reflect badly on Mid-Island Hyundai nor any of its’ affiliated companies and the dealership has not made any demand or claim against the CustomerRobert JT [redacted] Legal Assistant General Counsel’s Office Mid-Island Hyundai

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I had received a call from the dealer on Wednesday 7/ [redacted] that they finally found the car I had them send me the VIN# and when they did I noticed the car color was summit grey - I had be requesting SILVER the entire months I responded that the color was wrong The manager called me the next day to tell me that they will not be able to get this car for me at all Their are no Silver with black interior in the entire US I find it so hard to believe that upset that hyundai is willing to sell this car to me but never produce it I can honestly say we will never be buying a Hyundai again In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

After speaking with the salesman ** *** was never promised any additional parts he new all the features before driving from New Jersey to purchase the carAt this time Mid Island Hyundai has fulfilled their obligation to this customerBrendan M***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed
the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Naturally, Brendan continues the great tradition of the Mid-Island Hyundai dealership of accusing me of lyingBelow is the excerpt from my original complaint:"when I contacted the salesman (David S.), he denied any verbal agreement, and claimed I was lying (which is very convenient for him/the dealership)When I asked about the issues, I received the following responses from David S.: 1) "No Hyundai Sonatas have these towing hooks"That is patently false, as the user manual clearly and explicitly states that a tow hook is included in the car equipment2) "There was no verbal agreement"Both of the answers implied that I was lying, although in both cases I was making an attempt to restore the truthThe abject ignorance (or willful lying) of David Sis unbecoming of a salesman."So when Brendan says that "** *** was never promised any additional parts", he just repeats what I stated, and implicitly continues to accuse me of lying
And when Brendan says "he new all the features before driving from New Jersey to purchase the car", he is wrongI did not know that the Sonata comes with a tow hookHowever, after reading the user manual, I realized I was cheated out of a tow hook, one way or anotherAnd instead fixing that little issue by sending me this $tow hook, the dealership continues to insist that not only I somehow knew this particular Sonata didn't have a tow hook, but also that all Sonatas don't have tow hooksI am guessing they never opened the PlHybrid's user manual.I am not any more disgusted by the lack of integrity on part of Mid-Island Hyundai than I was beforeKeep going with your story that I made it all up, it looks very professional of you.I still stand by my claim that I was promised $in Hyundai OEM accessories/parts, and am owed an OEM tow hook, and nothing that the dealer so eloquently said just recently contradicts my claim
Attached is the picture of the page in the manual that clearly shows that the car comes with a tow hook.As for the OWE YOU note, I don't have oneAs stated, it was a verbal agreement that I didn't know I needed in writing, and the sales people conveniently forgot it ever happenedI stand by my word that they owe me, however

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The company failed to tell you that the original veh I had looked at had 5,220 miles on it and when they showed me the other vehicles for the same price they had damage on it scratches on it stains in the vehicle and the 1 vehicle they showed me had over 28k mikes so no they did not offer me a better veh or a veh like the one we saw ... It just a scame that the company pulls on people to get more money for a veh that was priced way below what they advertised ... funny how one day the veh is a price and the next day they up the price 3k more and then tell me it's sold ... my point is I had a deposit down on a veh and they sold it to someone else .

because:

Hi, I'm not sure the car is fixed. It's going to my auto garage as soon as possible. I will keep you informed. The car is making a lot of noise and the exhaust system is just hang by wire.

In reviewing the Customer’s file and complaint, we do not feel that the dealership has done anything wrong. The Customer alleges the Dealership offered him $200 worth of accessories. The Customer also alleges that the Dealership did not include a “Towing Hook” with his vehicle. Window Stickers include all features of each vehicle sold. Attached please find a copy of the window sticker of the vehicle. The cost of the added features listed on the window sticker is Three Hundred ($300.00) Dollars. These added features included Carpeted Floor Mats, Cargo Net, Rear Bumper/Applique and Wheel Locks. The Customer received these added features (accessories). The Customer supplied the Revdex.com with a copy of page 6-23 of his Owner’s Manual showing a picture of a “Towing Hook” and he has demanded that the dealership supply him with the same. The instructions of how to tow his vehicle is on page 6-24 of the Owner’s Manual (a copy of which is attached). It is clearly stated on page 6-24: “Emergency Towing (if equipped).” We have stated previously that the “Towing Hook” is not standard equipment on his vehicle.John G.
