Reviews Used Car Dealers Midway Chevrolet

Midway Chevrolet Reviews (59)

First of all, my family and I want to express our gratitude to Midway Chevrolet. Few days ago, my family and I purchased a car from Midway Chevrolet, [redacted]. The car we purchased was priced fairly, staff was polite, professional and overall our experience was great. For first time, no complaints and we were quite satisfied. Unfortunately, day after our purchase we had experienced financial hardship and had to look at an option to return the vehicle.
Now as you all may know, there is not a law out there such as “three day recession or cool off stage” when you make a car purchase. The dealer does not have to unwind the deal and your signature is a law binding contract. Yet, when we reached out to Midway Chevrolet, they were willing to listen and find an option that would resolve our concern. They displayed empathy, listened to our concerns and most of all, they were understanding. When they found that we experiences such unfortunate financial situation, they stepped out with their best foot forward and did what they were not required to do. Instead of making a sale, they thought of customer first and provided and making sure that we were satisfied. They provided us with an option to “unwind the deal”. Basically, take the vehicle back without any penalties.
Now, I am not saying to go out there and purchase a car without planning it and financially being able to afford it. I hear stories where we reference car dealerships as “out there to get you”; however, I will say that this dealership and people that work there actually care about customer service and will do their best to make sure you are a satisfied customer. Next time such story is told in my presence, I will stand there and say that one dealership is different and that is YOU!
Finally, I want to thank [redacted], staff that assisted us with purchase and and Karen from corporate office. Even though we did not officially purchase a car, if we ever do purchase one... you can bet that we will be seeing YOU! Joseph, not enough words can be said; however, I will just say that you are an asset to Midway and I am glad to know that people with your ethics are out there. My family and I truly appreciate it!!!
Once again, Thank you so much Midway Chevrolet!

Review: Midway Chevrolet advertises both on their website and on tv ads of a program they call "Cash for Junkers" which states they will give you $3500 for any trade in (with a few restrictions like it has to be a 1986 or newer, it has to be driveable, registered in your name for at least 6 months, etc) toward any new car on their lot. When I tried to take advantage of this program they tell me that it doesn't apply, that you can't really get the $3500 for a trade in if they give you anything off the msrp, yet their own website shows examples of cars on their lot that they have taken manfuctures rebastes and discounts that they have given off msrp in addition to the $3500 "cash for Junkers" program. I believe they are falsely advertising this "Cash for Junkers" ad both on tv and on their website when they have no intention of offering the consumer the deal they say they are. Below are copies of my emails to Midway Chevrolet concerning this bait and switch offer and their response.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------... />
I can give you the ad price and give you what your vehicle is worth or give you the Cash for clunkers off of MSRP. What I am trying to tell you is I have taken 4,435.00 off of my vehicle not including rebates or your trade in. Therefore the deal I have provided you is better then the Cash for clunkers. So I can give you the cash for clunkers price if you want but it wont be as good as the price I have given you already. I believe we can both say that the price I have given you is better then you can get anywhere. If you would like to pick one of the cars on the ad I will make it work for you but at the bottom of the ad it says offers cannot be combined. You asked for my best price as it pertains to you so I gave it to you. But you cannot combine cash for clunkers with my pricing. Its one or the other.

[redacted]-

I did go back and look at your ad on your website and it does not say that. As a matter of fact it shows examples on cars you havefor sale, showing that it take off discounts both from Chevrolet and Midway off the msrp in addition to it showing taking 3,500 off for the cash for junkers offer. Is the cash for junkers a come on and not a real offer then? I'm confused.

Mr. [redacted]

Sir,

I gave you the best price on my vehicle. If you look at the ad it says 3500 off of the MSRP of the vehicle or you get the savings from my dealership. Its an OR type deal. With the price I gave you I gave you the best price I could without just taking off the 3,500. It is actually better then if I had given you 3500 for your trade in. Now with that being said I'm sure your trade in is worth SOMETHING therefore the price can only get better right?

[redacted]-

Ok, so your offer is 31,863 out the door without trade. I see on your web site that you have a Cash For Junkers ad that says you'll give 3,500 for any 1986 or newer car that runs and that is traded in on a new car. So does that mean if I trade my current car in and it fits the conditions listed above that you will give me 3,500 for it as a trade in on this camaro as your ad states it will? If that is the case, how soon can we complete this deal. Just tell me the exact amount of the check from my bank that I need to bring with me.

S. [redacted]

[redacted],

The lowest offer on this car without your trade in is $31,863.27 out the door. Obviously it will be better then that with your trade in. But without seeing your trade in I cannot give you a price with it.

[redacted]Desired Settlement: For Midway Chevrolet to live up to their advertised offer of $3500 for any trade in toward the new car. I have already negotiated a price on a new car in their lot , but with their advertised "cash for Junkers" program it would give me an additional $3500 off this car when I take them up on their advertised "Cash for Junkers" program and trade in my current car. If they are unwilling to live up to their offer, I'm expecting the Revdex.com to make them stop their false advertising or sanction them with whatever power the Revdex.com has so they won't continue to deceive consumers like myself.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The explanation by Midway Chevrolet does not address my issue and is factually incorrect. 1). In Midway Chevrolets response they indicate that my trade in did not match their required criteria per their ad, which is not true, my trade in matched their requirements perfectly per their ad posted on their internet site at the time the complaint was filed and I was trying to purchase a new car that was on their lot (see copy of their ad that I included with my original complaint)

Review: I have repeatedly asked this dealership stop making sales calls to my home and cell phones, but they keep calling and calling. I am registered on the federal DNC, general motors DNC (which I was told applied to dealerships also) and have requested no sales calls directly with the dealership through their website chat and every sales person who has called me. I’m fed up!

This company is violating every law there is regarding DNC and TCPA compliance and they get away with by calling existing customers and first asking how you like the vehicle you purchased from them, and then go straight into the sales pitch. I am tired of being harassed to trade my car in. Even if I was interested in trading up I certainly would not do it with this dealership.

The feds don’t do anything because of the “existing customer” relationship. I guess I need to start going somewhere else for service too.Desired Settlement: NO MORE SALES CALLS!

I took my car there for issue one time when they still had Midway Pontiac (now they service Pontiacs but as Midway Chevrolet). They curbed my car and broke the side marker turn signal. Though they had done a careful and thorough walk around when I brought it in, and noted everything was fine, and though I called immediately upon noticing it, they denied everything, and refused to repair it. So they 1) have or had someone who drove my car in a manner to damage it, and then 2) they denied it. For sure, always walk around your car and examine it while still on the lot, when you pick it up, no matter where you go, but certainly at Midway. Of note, I have always been treated honestly and fairly at Liberty GMC service department. Some miles further for me, but well worth it.

Review: On June9th2014 I brought my car to [redacted],because one of tire kept losing air, beside change tires ,I was told the car needed a lot of repairs ,I agreed to have the service work done.My total bill was $2139.23 on June9th2014. On June 10th2014 my brakes were making a noise . I brought my car to [redacted] . I was told it needed more repairs. My total bill on that day was $1576.52. A couple days later, I noticed a leak on the ground where I park my car. I brought my car to the [redacted] shop . I was told that it was a coolant leak, I brought my car to Midway Chevrolet because I was told I had a coolant leak that had to be fixed by the dealer. Midway Chevrolet told me they fixed the leak and the car was fine and that the repair was good for two years. I paid the dealership $2335.91.The next day while driving the car,it overheated and stopped working. It was towed back to Midway where they told me I now needed a new engine because there was a coolant leak and the engine was damaged beyond repair. I told them they had been negligent in repairing the coolant leak in the first place and the damage was their fault. They then tried to bargain with me on the price of the repair. After they checked the car ,they said to be fair,I must pay $4000,the other half they will take care of. Of course,I disagreed. Then the next day they called me back to make a deal with me. They said that I could pay only $2000. I told them I wouldn't pay anything because this damage was definitely due to their error, especially since they told me my car was in good shape previously and I had no worries with the coolant system for at least two years. As of 7/7/2014 I came to Midway to pickup written estimate, all I got hand written estimate and ask to sign by [redacted] from service department, they then added that I should definitely not hire a lawyer, it would only waste my money. My friend did look over all the receipts and told I been charger same work over and over each shop.I have missed work over a week now. Please help meDesired Settlement: I want my car repaired so that my coolant system is perfect as well as my damaged engine in perfect working order . I need my car to be able to get to work. I will not be taken advantage of by Midway Chevrolet. Thank you.

Review: Midway Chevy kept calling me to get me to come back and trade my car in for a year newer model and get a smaller payment. I finally agreed to come in after all the harassing calls. I made an appointment for 11:00. The manager called me back to confirm my appointment and said if the sales rep was busy, I could talk to him. When I got to my appointment the sales rep and the manager were not there. They sent me to talk to a girl who was the reps assistance. She ran our credit and would not give us any of the rebates promised by the sales rep who called me. She said we would have to put $5000 down to get a newer car. I would not have come down to the dealer with those terms as that was not what I was quoted. The car we got already had 3000 miles on it when we bought it and the sales receipt said it had 0 miles. They lied to get me to come to the dealer and lied to pull my credit report. I recently filed this complaint and Midway Chevy said they would send me a letter and remove the credit inquire from my husbands and my credit reports. They lied again have have done neither.Desired Settlement: Since they did not fulfill their promise to remove the inquires from our credit reports they need to send me $100 to pay the credit repair company to remove them.

Review: I am being harassed by Midway Chevy employees. They call me all the time trying to get me to trade in my car that I have only had for 1 year. These calls started the week after I purchased the car. Each time they call I have asked them to take me off their list because I am not interested in a new vehicle and I do not want any more calls from them. They say they will take me off of their list and yet I am still getting calls. I am not only getting calls on my personal phone but to my work number as well. They even tell my co-workers about the interest rate I have being too high and the interest rate they can offer me. I believe that is not any of my co-workers business to know what kind of interest rate I pay. I've spoken with managers and I'm still getting calls. After getting a call last night at 8:50pm, I'm very fed up with this. This has to stop!!! I am not interested in any new vehicle especially from Midway Chevy!!! I want my number taken off from each and every list that they have. I have few more oil changes left under my warranty and after that I will no longer be taking my car to Midway Chevy to be serviced. I have never dealt with this type of harassment from any sales person before. It is out of hand!Desired Settlement: I want them to stop calling me! It would be easy to change my phone number but I shouldn't have to do that. These types of calls and how often they occur are considered harassment. I want my number taken off each and every list Midway Chevy has.

Review: I was picked up by a saleman from Midway Chevrolet beacuse I did a online app. for a car loan and my current car was not running, so the sales manager had a salesman pick me up. The took me there and started showing me a [redacted] that was listed at 12,000. I told the salesman I checkeck into loan rate and pricing and budgeted a payment of 300.00. With interest, that left me looking for a car for under 10,000. I inforned the salesman I did not want to look at the [redacted] beacause it was over my budget. Long story shor, the salesmanager came to me and said" if I can get you this car for 1000.00 down and 319.00 a month....will you do it. This was after I asked them 3 times to please drive me home. I agreed to 319.00 a month, but after waiting 2 hours for the finace person, the end result was a payment of 348.00, and they charged me 800.00 for paint protectant that I was not informed about. I called back several times and asked to speak to the head of finance, when I can come in, and even offered to bring the car back in.

I to this day have not recieved a call from any manager in the finance dept., and the registeration for my car still has not been paid as my 30 day tags have expired.Desired Settlement: I want the 800 dollars taken off my finance charge and my new plates and registration.

Review: Please See Below the email sent to the General Manager of sales responding why I did not finish my purchase, I never received a response and have tried numerous times also I have fit all criteria to be initialed to the radio advertisement promotion that was not addressed by then in addition below explains everything that has happened also I am sending a complaint with the attorney generals office:

[redacted],

I came in yesterday after speaking to Isabel about a online offer on [redacted] she told me I was in and out for 14,058 I then spoke to [redacted] over the phone after having my financing looked at and was told I was good to come in I made sure the price was what I was told before I drove from [redacted] To [redacted](Which took me a hour) I arrived and was told it was actually wrote up at 19,000 with all the extras of warranty and gap which I did not want also the car was raised 2,000 from what I was told in addition I was told to bring a 1,000 check I decided to drive home because no one would give me a honest answer why I was told so many different numbers, today I spoke to I believe his name is [redacted] whom ever is answering from your number that you attached to the previous email informed me that I was looking at a online discount that I do not qualify for I was one also told in writing the night before a price that couldn't be reduced and then was told today that the tax, title everything out the door 17,736 was the best and final offer I could receive -and that was with putting a 1,000 down. I was confused so I called another [redacted] dealer in town and was told that I qualified for all of the 2,000 rebate - 500 dollars I also received the car for 2,000 less that your final and best offer and total closed the deal 4,000 less than what I received in writing from Midway and a portion of these documents were signed by me I also was offered NO MONEY DOWN at the other dealer vs 1,000 with Midway This was the worse car buying experience dealing with the staff that seemed not trained to answer simple questions I felt like I was getting the run around I asked to pull up the original offer I spoke to [redacted] about -and financing and sales said they didn't have anyone to speak to about it and wasn't willing to help The vehicle I purchased is the same exact car bumper to bumber I wasted two hours driving back and forth to Midway to leave without the vehicle I was told that Midway beats everydeal in town I called sales this evening and was told that if Midway cannot beat another dealerships pricing apples to apples Midway will give 10,000 guaranteed I asked what the fine print was and was told all I need is the numbers and offer in writing from another dealership I was also told your advertising this on the radio so please see attached I would like to sit with you with my paperwork that I was almost coursed into finishing signing before I saw the bottom line I also would like the gentleman that told me 17,736 was the best he and Midway could do because I had planned on coming in to purchase then I'll be more than happy to show you my paperwork of a different dealership that beat Midways pricing and financing by thousands for the same car. I feel as a general manager you should be aware of what your sales force is doing and how they are not one communicating with management and two clarifying with the customer I also had spent 5 hours yesterday speaking to [redacted] two times and my wife spoke to [redacted] and I also spoke to [redacted] before I jumped in the car to go purchase the vehicle I also hit the gong and was signing before I realized it was not what was told to me to get me and to come to [redacted]. I realize you have a lot of employees but a man in your position needs to be aware of what is taking place within your sales force I look forward to speaking with you also please see attached forms to show proof of same vehicle and lower pricing from the two separate pricing terms and conditions I was told from Miday. [redacted]Desired Settlement: Honor The advertisement that is stated and that I was told I qualify for because they did not beat what they stated that they would so 1. false advertisement 2. false pricing online which I was told by sales and manager [redacted] until signing at the table(Bait and Switch) 3. Un ethical business practices

I fell and was told I qualify for the advertisement over the radio airwaves because of my due dilence and they need to honor what they are advertising

I am responding to the complaint submitted by Ms. [redacted] regarding his experience with Midway Chevrolet.

On behalf of Midway Chevrolet I apologize for any inconvenience Ms. [redacted] experienced in dealing with our sales staff. On all Internet advertising, Midway Chevrolet provides the following disclaimer:

Review: This complaint is against Midway Chevrolet - I went on a GMC website to see what my car is worth and to possibly trade it in and downsize to a less expensive vehicle if I could. I filled out the normal information online and was called by Midway Chevrolet and they asked me to come in to see someone who was interested in my vehicle for 120% over book value. So I went in there on Friday (4/5/14) night looking to see what the trade in value of my KIA Sportage SUV would be and to possibly downsize into a used car to get a lower payment of $225 - $250.

They took my keys to my Kia to appraise it, and were showing me all these deals which none of them were appealing to me. I was there for 4 hours and during that time I kept asking for my keys back, that I was tired and wanted to go home and revisit this later. They would not give my keys back and finally brought me a used car at the 11th hour with a payment of $225 and I was exhausted and said I would take it not even driving it very far or going on the highway.

It was a 2011 Ford Fiesta for $14,999 and they asked me to put $750.00 down and they would pay off my Kia for $19,204. The shoved me out the door at closing, put me in this vehicle and said goodbye. I started to leave, there wasn’t any gas in the vehicle, the salesman had to give me $20 to put gas in the vehicle. I ran out of gas trying to find a gas station, finally had someone help me push it down the street, put gas in it, and started down the road and there were no shocks in the vehicle. I bounced all the way down the highway, tears streaming down my face because I knew I made a huge mistake. Couldn’t even sleep that night.

Called the Assistant Sales Manager [redacted] the very next morning and said I could NOT keep this car, it was horrible, that I wanted to bring it back and get my car back. So I was back at the dealership within 24 hours and asked for my car back and my money back and they told me NO! That there is no right of rescission in the state of Arizona. I started crying and was very upset, and instead of trying to calm me down and help me, the Sales Manager, [redacted] started yelling at me that this was not a ‘something to be bought and returned to the store’, that they didn’t even need to help me, but that they were going to do me a favor and try to find me another vehicle. I told them I was so emotionally exhausted and upset, that now was not the right time or that I was not in the right frame of mind to look at or purchase another vehicle. However, my choices were to either take the Fiesta which I wanted to return, or find another vehicle. I was so afraid that they would make me take the ford fiesta I felt forced into taking a brand new Chevrolet Cruz for $27,000 which increased my debt and increased my payment to $354.00 month when all I wanted to do was reduce my debt and my monthly payment in the first place.

Their treatment of me by this Sales Manager, [redacted] and His Assistant Sales Manager, [redacted] was abhorrent! They would not give me the keys to my vehicle before I purchased anything – they would not let me leave and held me there for 4 – 5 hours, they double teamed me with their sales practices until they wore me down with the last deal right before closing.

The next day, when I wanted to get out of the deal, they bullied me and manipulated me with threats that if I didn’t take the new car deal I would be stuck with the vehicle (ford fiesta) I wanted to return. I felt helpless and there was no one to help me through this. I asked to see the owner and they would not tell me who that was, or even if I could see the manager on duty. [redacted] said he was in charge and he was the only one who could approve any deals…it was a nightmare. The worst possible experience I have had. I am a 61 year old widow that would just liked to have my car back and be treated with respect and not be bullied and manipulated in to a deal that I didn’t want. That’s all. Now I have $7,000 more debt and a higher payment and insurance cost, when all I wanted to accomplish was downsizing my debt and payment.

The scam is..they get in you into the dealership saying they will buy your car for 120% over value - but need to see it to appraise it. When you get in there, they hold you there by not giving you the keys to your car back until they double team you and exhaust you with the oldest sales gimmick in the book by wearing you down and double teaming you until you fold. Especially someone like me, an old lady that is there alone and at their mercy!Desired Settlement: I want to return this vehicle and I want my original car back. If that's not possible I want the cost of this sale drastically reduced!

Review: I have called multiple times and have been assured multiple times that Midway Chevrolet would stop making sales calls to me. Instead, now, I not only continue to get sales calls to my home phone (###-###-####), I am getting calls at work (###-###-####). I have asked and been assured that this will stop, but despite these many assurances, the calls continue.

I am so disgusted by the poor service, blatant lies, broken promises, and deceptive sales practices that I not only will NEVER again purchase anything from Midway, I actively spread the word to all of my friends and colleagues to avoid Midway completely.Desired Settlement: I want all sales calls to cease immediately!

Review: Midway Chevrolet sales representatives have been calling me daily for months, asking me to sell back the vehicle I purchased from them. I have no desire to sell my vehicle or to ever work with Midway Chevy again, as I found their practice to be extremely dishonest. I have asked to be removed from their calling list each time they call. I have spoken with managers and supervisors who have promised me more than once that I would no longer receive phone calls from them. I continue to receive phone calls at least twice a week, sometimes several times a day.Desired Settlement: I would like Midway Chevrolet to stop contacting me immediately.

I was lied to and misled about a part recall. When I asked for a partial reimbursement on my rental car, I was told no because the dealership would not be paid back by **.
Do not get your car serviced here, or at any other of the [redacted] dealerships. With all of the ones I have dealt with, they all have poor customer service and shady, if not downright deceptive, business practices. See more on my review on [redacted].

Review: I took my husbands truck in on 1/22/2016 as his car a 2008 Chevy Silverado temperature gauge start failing. When I called earlier this morning to set up the appointment I talked to the service advisor. I stated what problem was and that I need it a estimated quote for the problem. I stated that the car had been diagnosed with a failure on the gauge and assuming that was the worst case scenario I need it a quote and to check if the necessary parts for the repair were available at the shop; since the car was leaving tomorrow to San Antonio TX (my husband is currently station in San antonio with the Army National Guard) His response was that there was a $135 diagnostic fee; which would be taken towards the repair and that yes, the parts were available. I drop off the car a 10AM; after calling twice I finally got an update from the service guy at 3 PM; letting me know that indeed the temperature cluster gauge was not working but unfortunately nor this particular dealership nor GM have this part available hence they could not fix the car but I still had to pay for the "diagnostic" fee. My first question is why? Both the dealership and GM are unable to fix the problem (which I was going to pay for); so I can not fix the car ; yet im bounded to pay for a fee for "diagnostic" with out having a possibility of recovering the money. No, the car is leaving to San Antonia; my husband will take it to be fix there but we already lost money on thisDesired Settlement: I should not be charge for the service fee given the Dealership or GM are unable to provide the repair on a timely matter

I have not lived in the area for over 2 years and yet I continue to get harassing phone calls wanting me to trade in my car to finance a new one. They've called us 10+ times since waved moved across the country and every time we tell them to STOP! We always ask them to remove us from their phone list.

Review: Last year I purchased a car from Midway Chevy and on the sales receipt it said the mileage was zero when the true mileage on the car was a little over 3000. Jan 2, 2016 Jordon called me and said he could lower my payment and have me trade up to a year newer Equinox. I did not want to but he harassed me until I said I would come in on Jan. 3, 2016 at 11:00. His [redacted], Jason, called me back to confirm the appointment and said if Jordon was busy with another customer at our appointment, he would help me. When my husband and I arrived at the dealer at 11:00 neither Jordon or Jason were there. So they had me talk to a girl who was Jordon's associate. She said she could not confirm any of the things Jordon had told me and they did not have any more cars available. Jordon was going to buy back my Equinox and get me a newer model. The only ones they had left were 2016 models and this girl said I had to much negative equity to buy a 2016 model. I had told Jordon on the phone how much I still owed and what the online quote said they would give me as a trade and he said he could give me another $5000 in rebates on top of the Chevy rebates so I would qualify. The girl told me to come back in a year.Desired Settlement: Remove the credit inquire from my husband's and my credit reports since they lied to me to get me to come to the dealership.

Regards,

We purchased a [redacted] in February, 2015 which was on their lot. We traded in a [redacted]. The [redacted] had extendable, power adjustable towing mirrors, and the specifications said they were power and heated. We drove the vehicle and noticed the mirrors didn't adjust by using the power switch in the cab. We were told that would be fixed, along with other problems we found with the vehicle. The other problems were fixed, but, after several days of hassle, we were told the mirrors on the vehicle weren't factory mirrors but were after-market add on mirrors and that the dealership would only install the small, factory mirrors on the vehicle. We are full-time RVers with a large 5th wheel. It is a serious safety concern that we have extendable, adjustable towing mirrors. We explained this to the people but the dealership wouldn't change their mind. Even though the vehicle was represented as having the mirrors we needed by showing us a vehicle with the appropriate mirrors for our use installed, and seeing the specification sheet that confirmed that was what we were getting, they wouldn't fix the problem. We had to settle for small, non-extendable mirrors with the passenger side mirror being wide angle. It is very difficult to back up the trailer using a wide angle mirror. Also the driver's side mirror would adjust to the height necessary. During the entire unpleasant experience, we had a very difficult time getting anyone to return our calls when we would try to continue to follow up on this issue. Twice we had to drive to their location to check because, after days of waiting for a call, it would never come and when we would call there would be no one available to talk to us. Honesty only exists with those people if it doesn't involve an expense. Do the right thing because it's the right thing to do is a foreign concept to them. The brightest part of this was the interaction with the salesman, [redacted], who was an advocate for us, but to no avail.

Review: I took my GMC Acadia in ONCE for an oil change over 6 months ago. At my appointment I requested to not be put on their paper mailing list. I was put on the list and have been receiving letters to trade in my vehicle that I sold 5 months ago and service offers. I have received at least 3 mailings a month. I have called in on each and every mailing that I have received and requested to be taken off the list. I have spoken to the General Manager of Midway Chevrolet, John Vance, he was completely rude basically telling me that there is no way to get off the list. Today, Oct. 4, 2013 I received yet another mailer. I called and this time spoke to the sales manager, he could not understand my phone number, I had to tell him 5 times in English. I have been told each and every time that I will be taken off the list with no success.

To further the matter, I have contacted General Motors in Detroit, MI. and have spoken to several customer service reps. who say that they have contacted the dealer themselves to get me off the list. I want to believe that GM has done this, yet I still receive unwanted mailers after several requests.

I have each and every one of the mailers that I have received.

What is my next step of recourse? The dealer will not do anything, Corporate General Motors will not do anything.Desired Settlement: I want an apology from GM in Detroit Mi., Midway Chevrolet and an explanation on why they refuse to remove my name from their mailing list. Its not like they can replace all the wasted time that I have spent being harassed.

Response:

I have been requesting action for at least 6 months. I have been told time and time again that I have been removed. I do not feel that I can accept this answer again, until I stop seeing mail. I just received another today. I am usually told that it takes any where from 30-60 days for the cessation of mail, after that I will accept that they actually did in fact remove me and are not just empty claims. How long until I should not be seeing any more mailers?
