Review: I purschase a vehicle at midway chevy . I took delivery of the car but had to return the vehicle the next day for it had numerous issues ( axle broke, leaking on the window, electornics ) . Midway Chevy gave me a loaner car until the car is fix .. A week later-. Finance notify me that the bank bought my deal and I need to sign a contract .(. . The vehicle I purschase is still on the shop ) ---- I return the next day to give my downpayment to finance and bang they told me the news .. Finance explain that they can no longer sell me the vehicle because it cost to much for them to fix .. I told them that I sign a contract and I want them to fix the car -- Midway Chevy refuse and just terminate my deal ... I told them that Midway chevy sold me the car , it got finance , and just because the car they sold me have issues and they dont want to spend money to fix it - they just want to cancel the deal .. Also Midway chevy Used car manager called me a Bum and told me to to take the bus home ... I taught that was disrespecful and rude to a customer .Desired Settlement: I want midway chevy to fix the car I bought and honor the contract I sign with them

Response:

I do not agree with this statement by Midway chevy ... They are aware of the mileage on my vehicle as noted on my Adot report submitted by their finance company -- also the Loan was approve by [redacted] bank ( attach is a copy of the contract I sign ) and the text messages that the finance of midway sent me

Review: To start, I'm currently active duty (9+ years) in the United States Army, so working through difficult situations and dealing with BS is something I've become very accustomed to, but the unbelievable lack of integrity I've experienced in these last few days at midway Chevrolet have left me at a complete loss of words and spirit, and this is after I had a great buying expierence from them a few years ago.

Approximately one week ago, I stopped by Midway Chevrolet to get a quote to buy back my 2013 Chevrolet Silverado. The quote price, on paper, was $24,000. The salesman that handed me the quote was named [redacted]. At the time, I couldn't part with the truck because I hadn't bought my replacement vehicle (a 2002 corolla, I'm consolidating bills to support a new family). Once I bought the car, I returned to midway Chevrolet this last Saturday, the 13th of June, to sell the truck back for the agreed upon $24,000. I spoke with a different salesman, [redacted] was not there. This salesman took, saw, and acknowledged the $24,000 quote carbon copy. Unfortunately, there was no one at the store ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON to process this for me (red flag 1). I was told to come back Monday. I DID NOT get my written quote back from the salesman(red flag 2) after he came back down from talking to a manager/financial person. The fact that my quote slip was taken and not given back can be confirmed by the person I was there with (my ride home), as he thought it was weird. I didn't mind because I thought this place had integrity and would honor the agreement, and that a quote can't really change much over the span of a week. Fast forward to Monday, and I bring the truck in again, with no written quote, only to be told that because I didn't have that carbon copy, the most the could offer me was $22,000. THATS A $2000 DIFFERENCE!!! That $2000 is the difference between me making out ahead less than $1000 and having to OWE OVER $1000 still! Obviously this was unacceptable. The salesman kept stating that I need to produce the original paper quote, which I obviously couldn't do. I couldn't understand why it matters what was written sloppily on a carbon copy when ALL 3 OF US remember the original $24,000 quote!! After I couldn't get anywhere with this salesman, THE SAME ONE WHO PHYSICALLY SAW AND TOOK THE QUOTE FROM ME ON SATURDAY, I decided to go home, cool off, and call [redacted], the salesman who I originally got the quote from. I scheduled an appointment to come to the dealership today, Tuesday the 16th of June, to talk with [redacted] about honoring the original quote. Both [redacted] and the other salesman come back from the back office saying that $22,000 was the highest the could go. Even AFTER BOTH ACKNOWLEDGED SEEING AND REMEMBERING THE ORIGINAL $24,000 QUOTE!!! [redacted] went back and was able to reluctantly get it up to $22,500, which is still obviously a long ways from the original $24,000 quote.

The fact that BOTH salesmen remember me and the $24,000 quote, the fact that I never got the carbon copy back on Saturday, and the constant reiteration that if I could produce the carbon copy then that would help show me a lack of integrity at multiple levels of this establishment, and is completely unacceptable. I've been seriving over 9 years in the United States Army, and I can't recall ever seeing such a blatant lack of integrity and honesty. If both salesmen remember the original $24,000 quote, why can't that be honored? Why can't we make a deal at the agreed price? Why do I feel I've just been railroaded and am sick to my stomach with nervousness and uneasiness about the future of my family over this? How is this an acceptable business practice?

- [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like to sell my truck back to the dealership for the original quoted (approximately one week ago) price of $24,000.

Regards,

I purchased a tahoe (2015) new with 4500 miles, at the time of deal I was given a paper that disclosed the price I was getting the vehicle out the door and what made the deal happen before hit their so called bell of sale. On this sheet it had our agreed price and also all the extras and accessories included in the deal.. come to find out that when I signed the final sale papers products originally on deal sheet were not included, this was not explained to us at that time, I dont care how they move numbers around in a deal, It is just clear that while changing their numbers extras were taken off without us being informed. still same price just not the with the original extra options that where on our sheet that we had agreed on before purchase. on top of these we purchased the vehicle 6-28-15 and didn't get to enjoy it and drive it until 7-16-15 because when I tool it home a walk through was not done and the next day from purchase we noticed a few problems with paint, rim, and tire, also mirror, no one should have these problems when buying a brand new vehicle. we then took it back to midway where it tool them over 1 week to fix problems, I was then told to pick it up, as soon as I got there I noticed more problems on body, and now the other mirror, also involved the same rim that was repaired. I did not take it home , it took another 8 days for the truck to then have both bumper redone, tailgate repainted and mirror and wheel replaced. It is clear that work is being done with out checking afterwards. The other point I want to bring up is the sales manager Ramsey, he had very bad customer service, talked down to me, was ignoring my saying when they had agreed to loan me a 7 passenger vehicle for the first weekend that the truck was in the shop which was 4th of july weekend. He was aware that I needed my vehicle for that weekend because we where going out of town, when it got closer to the date july 2nd then he kept telling me he did not have a 7 passenger vehicle and my only two options was keep the 5 passanger malibu or take my truck out of the shop to be able to use it.. clearly the truck was in body shop having fender taken off to be painted, he was just plain out rude to me and would not even try to do anything to help out even though he knew I had plans already for travel and him saying that wed 7-1-15 that he would have ta 7 passanger vehile for me with no problems, I took this issue directly with the general manager David, it took from early afternoon that day to about 730pm at night for me to talk with him, and that was only because I was so angry and told the operators at the dealer that I was going to show up and bring a police officer in with me to resolve this problem, at that point David the general manager called me right back, and in which in less than 10 mins resolved the problem after the most bitter experience that I had earlier that day with Ramsey. I finally have my truck back, everything on it looks good, my main complaint in this is how much of a fraud they are when it comes to putting numbers on final docs and how they take away things that were already told to you when first signing docs that get the deal going. they are sneaky and will not even tell you when you are signing those final docs, so sadly customers think they are getting something when in reality they are not. I will pursue this until the end. I dont believe any person should be fooled like they tried to do it to me.

NEGATIVE 10!!! Rated "C-" by the Revdex.com for "MISLEADING THE CONSUMERS" in 2011 AND 2012 AND they can now add 2013 to the list. They erased the review from [redacted], but they can't erase it from Revdex.com.

A 2013 Chevy Equinox 2LT was advertised as "Midway Price: $22,400" on their website on 10/3 or 4 with a hyperlink below it identifying $1,500 discount for cash or special financing as low as 0% for . I called to verify that it was indeed the price for VIN: [redacted] Stock #: [redacted]. I made an appointment with [redacted] for Sunday, 10/6. When I went in on Sunday, I was ready to buy the vehicle with the [redacted] discount of $750 and cash price discount of $1,500 as listed below the advertised $22,400 price and which I was told I qualified for. When I got there, I was advised that the $22,400 did not include the "add on" of $1,812 and they $22,400 included discounts such as "leaser loyalty" which I didn't qualify for. The price was well over $29,000 instead of $20,150 plus tax, license and GM Protection Plan (GMPP). A far cry from the $22,400 advertised minus the $750 [redacted] and $1,500 cash price I was told I would be discounted.

I went to look at another Equinox at another dealer but I didn't like the vehicle nearly as well. I called Midway back and was now told it would be $27,760 out the door which included tax, license, doc fees, etc and the GMPP. While it was still much more than what Midway had advertised on their site, I was willing to purchase it for the $27,760 to include taxes, license, doc fees, etc and the GMPP with the 0% interest since it was much, much more than what I expected.

After nearly another 2 hours at Midway, I walked out again without the vehicle. The "alleged" out the door price of $27,760 did not include the GMPP nor would I qualify for the 0% interest advertised. AGAIN, falsely marketing information to try to pressure a person into buying a vehicle.

Midway Chevrolet has a "C-" rating from the Revdex.com due to "advertising issues". The Revdex.com contacted Midway Chevrolet with "concerns regarding the company's email and print advertising" in August 2011 and again in August 2012. It further states, "Although Midway responded to the Revdex.com, the response did not substantiate the issues addressed by the Revdex.com."

When I've shared my frustrations and concerns with others, they quickly responded that this would be considered a "bait and switch." So I looked it up and found, " First, customers are "baited" by merchants' advertising products or services at a low price, but when customers visit the store, they discover that the advertised goods are not available, or the customers are pressured by sales people to consider similar, but higher priced items ("switching")." That is exactly what Midway Chevrolet is doing. Several comments on [redacted] identified the same issue I have.

I did speak to one of the top managers, [redacted] who told me he was going to look into it and get back to me. Almost 48 hours later and I haven't heard a word from him. Did hear from [redacted], the person with "the numbers." He was rude, unprofessional, and thought he was going to intimidate me because I'm a woman.

When I looked at the internet today, the same car with the same vin number price had changed. Earlier today it was listed as "$28,600" for both MSRP and Midway Price. Later today it was listed as "$28,600" for MSRP and "$25,388" as Midway price.

SHAME ON YOU MIDWAY FOR TAKING AWAY FROM THE AMERICAN WORKERS BY LYING, CHEATING AND SCAMMING ON CHEVROLET PRODUCTS!!!

Review: I went to Midway Chevrolet to purchase 3 new vehicles. I traded in two. I told sales person, sales manager if we are unable to do all 3 that I didn't want to purchase anything. So after spending 9 hours there I was presented the deal for all three vehicles. I signed and the sales manager signed. Went to finance department to sign paper work. I was told I would not sign on truck because it had to be delivered. The finance guy assured me that everything was taken care of. He said we are on camera and he said the truck is done deal just waiting on it to be delevered. He then tried to sale service plan which he said was required by the bank to do the financing. I said I dont want it. He had to print a new contract because he had already included the service plan which goes straight to dealership at 100+ a month on your note. So we signed and they said they would call when truck got in. I said if the truck deal doesnt get done then I'm bringing the other two vehicles back. Week goes bye and no truck. I'm told it is in customs. The next week I'm told truck is in [redacted]. The third week nobody will return my calls. The finance guy finally called my wife and said they need $4,500 are they cant sell me the truck. This was not the agreement we signed. Now I'm stuck with the other two vehicles. I have asked to speak to the General Manager and was told NO. I asked to speak with whoever is in charge and was told everybody is equally. I'm trying to resolve this without having to retain an attorney.Desired Settlement: Deliver the truck at the price and deal I signed 3 weeks ago.

Our finance department has been working on trying to obtain financing for the purchase of the vehicle. It is an unusual situation and lenders are not easy to obtain when the are credit challenges as well.We will continue to work on the issue and will advise you when this issue has been resolved.Sincerely,[redacted]Compliance Director - Midway Chevrolet

On Saturday April 25, 2015 a contract of purchase was drawn up with Midway Chevy. A contract that was not fully explained, when later going over the contract I came to find that many things did not add up to what was agreed upon on Saturday. I have been to Midway Chevy on different occasions to dispute the manner in which my contract has been drawn up and handled. On Wednesday April 29, 2015 at around 5:30pm I arrived to speak with the financial manager [redacted]. or “Big [redacted]” as everyone at the dealership referred to, only to be given the run around, I was approached by [redacted] the financial counselor that drew up the papers on Saturday, and was given attitude as to why I was back and questioning buying the car. I was disputing the amount that the car was suppose to be purchased at. After waiting for an hour [redacted] told me that if I was disputing the car being overpriced then I needed to speak to [redacted] over at the used car building. I drove across the street to see him, but was met by other salesmen and told that [redacted] was not available. One of the salesmen looked over my paperwork and agreed with me about inconsistencies on the contract but I was not able to speak with [redacted] regarding the price differential. [redacted] the salesmen along with [redacted] another salesmen that helped me out on Saturday know that the price on the vehicle was marked down to $17,994 but this is not the price written on the contract. Since I was not able to speak to [redacted] I then went back to the main building to talk to [redacted]. Again I waited for another hour, when I was finally able to speak to [redacted] he told me there was nothing for him to do that day because he needed to call the bank to pull my account, to call their accounting office to pull my original file and see what was originally written on Saturday, and for me to come back on Thursday and we would sit down and go through it all, an appointment was set for 5pm. Thursday I arrived at 4:30pm ready to meet with [redacted] and all I see is him walking out of his office with no regard about our appointment which he himself made with me. Again [redacted] approached me to come to her office so we could talk, she told me [redacted] had an “emergency corporate meeting” and was not going to be able to meet with me. My father followed [redacted] outside and when asked about our meeting he stated he “was going to the bank but would be right back” contrary to what I was being told inside. When I brought up my issues with the contract [redacted] then asked me “what do you want to do?” I said “honestly I just want my car back, the one I traded in, I want it back and you can keep this car”. She said ok, she would go find out what could be done. After 15 min she came back and told me the contract was at the bank and there was nothing to be done. I then asked to speak to someone else, she said there was nothing more to discuss she had been given specific instructions as to what to do, I then asked her for the phone number to the lending company and she refused to provide it, telling me “if you need it, go look on the internet”. She finally had [redacted] another financial manager come and tell me the same thing, that nothing could be done that day that if I wanted to I could make an appoint to meet with [redacted] tomorrow. When I asked about my file, and calling the bank, everything [redacted] said he would do, [redacted] stated he knew nothing and would not get in the middle of this situation, at the same time he entered the office there was a woman on her cell phone recording from outside. No one informed me or much less asked my permission to be recorded, there was no need for it, and therefore they were violating my right to privacy. The whole experience is extremely unprofessional and Midway Chevy should be ashamed at the way they do business. On 6/10/15 I went back to Midway to cancel all the extras they added to my contract as again I was never fully informed, the Car Club membership, the Mechanical Warranty, the GAP insurance, but when I asked about the "Alarm" as typed on my contract for $925.00 I was told that the dealership had nothing to do with that and that they couldnt cancel it. When I asked for the name of the company they coulndt provide it, all I got was a name and a phone number, before I left I called and they guy told me he didnt have anything to do with cancelling this service that the dealership had to do it, he only got paid when he installed he then stated he would call [redacted]. and see what he could do. Again [redacted] walked out of his office right infront of me and completly ignored my presence, never came back to talk to me or anything, another financial rep [redacted] had to track him down and then came back to tell me there was nothing he could do. I then asked to speak with [redacted] and was told that he was in a meeting with [redacted] then told [redacted] to copy my paperwork and would give me what I wanted and would call me in 24 hours. Their service is the worst! And they are scam artist.

So I was a first time buyer looking for my first car I heard on the radio Midway Chevy was having a deal at the time so I went down on March 13, 2015 looked around found a great [redacted] put $1000 down fillied all paperwork and after 7 hours of being there finally left and still didn't know which bank would be financing my loan after 2 wesks of driving the car and finding 30 hits on my credit I get a call from the man who sold me the car, [redacted] and he said that I need to return the car for liability purposes, I said okay because when I went down to the dealership the next day I got confirmation from a manager named [redacted] that I would be recieving a call from [redacted] on April 13th to get last minutes issues taken care of if needed and I will be able to pick up my car on April 15th. Well the 13th rolls around no call, I call the dealership and [redacted], or [redacted] my financie advisor are unable to be reached so I leave voicemails, emails, text messages and no one responds. I recieve a text message at 9:00 pm on April 14th from [redacted] asking for pay stubs for the bank after I have already gave them about 10 for record. So unprofessional and I was so upset it was so late. I call the next day and for the next month I am in a rental car a [redacted] that I did not want and no one would return any of my messages and unfortunatly its about a 45 minutes drive from my house I worked 40+ hours a week did not have time to play games like this. I recieve a call from [redacted] says that they have sold my car that they had on hold and couldn't give me any explaination as of why it happened. So he had me come down request time from work to return the [redacted] and come look at the tent event. By this time I have wasted so much time my credit score it now terrible after so many hits and after being promised multiple times that they would reverse the hits on my credit after I return the car the people at the dealership say we can't do that were not a credit bureau. So I now go down and wait an hour at the tent event for [redacted] and multiple people come to me and try and help saying he was busy and a manager came over eventually saying he was scared to talk to me. After spending another few hours trying to work something out because I need a car, [redacted] the manager helped me get a [redacted] on April 26th and we had a set amount price APR all important info I would need and now after driving it for a week I get a call saying the bank will now not take me until I put another $1000 down now, mind you I have already put $2000 down and they said I was part of "[redacted] mess" I asked what does that means, the manager [redacted] said he and his Spanish department was caught stealing $2000 worth of gas tickets and he had taken someone lady's car that she did a trade-in for switched the license plates and was drvingin like it was his own. How dpes this happen right in front of them?? I want everyone to know how terrible buying my first car was and never go to this dealership because they will lie to you, take your money and leave you in the dark about your personal information. My credit is now terrible and I am now having to settle with a terrible APR and down payment because they can't do their job!!!!!

Review: On June 30 I signed final contract for purchasing a 2014 [redacted] after I traded my 2007 [redacted]. On July 14 I was contacted by [redacted] the Finance Mgr that there was still a balance on my trade in of $3499.00. I asked if the monies could be added to my new loan, he said he would get back with me. On July 18 I was contacted by [redacted] in Finance and told to come in and bring pay stubs so the I could speak with the bank and correct the issue. I got there and [redacted] told me that I had to either pay the balance off or I had no car. I could not come up with the money and I asked for my [redacted] back and they told me they sold it at auction. I asked to drive the [redacted] for 24hrs so I could figure out what to do and they said no I could not becuase that would be stealing their property.

I spoke with [redacted], General Sales Mgr on July 24 he said they sent a check for $3337.00 to the loan holder of the [redacted] a few weeks ago and he wanted me to come in and sign a Release that stated they would not come after me for using their new car and they would not charge me. I went in on July 25 to meet with [redacted] and told him I needed copy of the check, check # and date. He said he could not provide that information to me and I told him he needed to call the loan company and give them the information and he refused and told me my file would be forward to their legal department. He also stated that the check amount was $3399.00 and he sent it 10 days before. He also told me my car was sold at auction because I gave them permission to sale it even though the loan company still has my title and no monies have been recieved by Midway Chevrolet.notDesired Settlement: I need the Loan paid on my [redacted] and a car

August 4,2014Phoenix Revdex.com[redacted] Re: ID# [redacted] We are in receipt of the complaint filedby [redacted] regarding her vehicle purchase at Midway Chevrolet. At the time that [redacted] purchasedthe 2014 Chevrolet [redacted] she used as a trade a 2007 [redacted] signed paperwork indicating that she had a clear title to the vehicle.[redacted] was given $3,000.00 for the 2007 [redacted] which was thenapplied as a down payment on the [redacted]. With other ** incentives available to her, Midway Chevrolet was able toshow to potential lenders that she had a down payment of $5,750.00. As with a number of customers who havehad credit challenges in the past few years, we were able to obtain a new carloan for [redacted] with [redacted] The approval for this loan wasdependent on the $5,750.00 down payment. It was after the loan had beenapproved and funded by [redacted] did we discover that [redacted] owed$3,399.22 to ** Financial. In order to obtain an Arizona title,Midway Chevrolet paid the $3, 399.22 to ** Financial. As the legal owners ofthe vehicle it was offered for sale at local vehicle auction. Midway Chevrolettook a loss on the vehicle as it was sold for less than the $3,000.00 tradeprice given to [redacted]. Upon request we would be happy to provide youroffice copies of the auction sale as well as the payment to ** Financial. Midway Chevrolet contacted [redacted]regarding the repayment of $3,399.22. She indicated she was unable to repay theamount due and asked if it could be added to her loan with SanTander. MidwayChevrolet was unable to renegotiate a contract that had already been funded, and based upon the $5,750.00 down payment. We regret we were unable to accommodate [redacted] request to pay off the $3,399.22 over a period of time. Additionally,we did not charge [redacted] for the use of the vehicle from 6/28/2014 to7/18/2014. As stated on the “RetailBuyers” order we have the option of charging $.30 a mile or $20.00 a day whicheveris greater. We also chose to waive any additional amounts owed over the$3,000.00 down payment by [redacted]. Thank you for the opportunity to respondto this complaint. Sincerely, [redacted]

I told him that I could be there after work, he told me when I get there to talk with [redacted]. So after work I when to see [redacted] asked me what I'm looking for, and what would I be trading in. I told him that I had a 2005 Checy 2500 2wd crew cab. He said least go to your truck to get the trucks info and mileage. I said no problem. He asked me if I had any extras that he should know about. I told him just the tonneau cover. So [redacted] wrote down all the trucks info. We want inside to put so numbers together. After about 30mins or so [redacted] and his co-worker [redacted]. They told me that they could give me 18,500.00 for my truck. I said great lets looks at some trucks. So [redacted] and I when to the back lot and found the truck I was looking for. 2013 chevy crew cab short bed white 4x4 Z71. randy said lets go back to the office to see want we can put together for me. 30mins go by again I tell [redacted] to call me and let me know what the best price they can do. I filled out a credit app, giving my personal info so they coould run my credit. He said ok, and thx. I heard back the next day from a guy named [redacted] told me that he could get me into the touch in want for 437.00 a month. I asked him how he can up with that number. He said based on the numbers he was give that's the best he could do. He asked me if I could bring my truck in to have them look over my truck to see what it is worth. I told [redacted] that I was just there last night and [redacted] looked over my truck. He said sorry that is the best he can do in a really nasty tone. I told me I will get a hold of [redacted] banks or [redacted]. So I called [redacted] on my way home from work telling him about [redacted] and his tone. [redacted] said that he was sorry, and where I needed to be at payment wise. I told him at I could do 200.00 a month for 72 months. [redacted] said that he will call me back in a few mins. I said ok. [redacted] called back after 5mins telling me at there could do 200.00 a month and when could I come down to see him. I asked him when does he start work on Saturday, he said that he gets there at 10-11am. I said I will see you then. I get a text from [redacted] that night saying that they can get my payments down to 265.00 a month for 72months. I told him that I just talked to [redacted], and he told me that you guys could do 200.00 a month. He said ok.

On Saturday the 11th I wait for [redacted] to show up, and telling [redacted] that this deal better go thru because I just had some remove my sterio stuff out of my truck. [redacted] shows up and he said that I have to do better then 200.00 a month, I told him the best I can do in 215.00 for 72 months. So we talked inside for a few mins more, and we came up with 224.00 for 72months for the truck I want. [redacted]n said sign here and shuck my hand saynthx for your biz, and to file out a nice review about how I was treated. I said that I would do that. [redacted] asked me for my keys to make sure that there was no onow problems with the truck sinse amfewmdays ago. [redacted] asked me to go out front and ring the bell. Saying that I just bought a car. I said I will later when I leave. He said great. [redacted] had me fill out 5-9 sheets of paper about where I work personal references. While im wait for [redacted] to put my info into the computer, I got to the bathroom. [redacted] sees me in the hall asking me how many miles I have on my truck, I told him 124,000 milesmor so. [redacted] said that my truck online says 150,000 miles. I said thats no right. I have all of the papers on the truck if he would like he to get them for him.mhe said no. About 15mins goes by, [redacted] comes out telling me that we have no deal. I asked why is there no deal. That my truck has 124,000 miles and not 24,000. I said ok. [redacted] said that we can't make his deal because he put the info in the computer wrong on the 8th. I told him that is on him,and not on me. He said sorry. He said thatmhe will pay for my time and gas for what has taken place to. I asked to speak with the General Manager, he said that his name is [redacted] and that he would get him. I said thanks. [redacted] came back after a few mins saying that [redacted] is not there and there is nothing more he can do. I said to [redacted] and [redacted] that was standing there the whole time listening to us talk. [redacted] said that there is nothing more he could do foe me. if I don't leave he will call the cops. I told him that I will leave after I talk with [redacted] again. I waited for [redacted] another 30mins. He told me in person that [redacted] will not be here on Monday after all of this going down the way that it did. [redacted] asked me what do I wait for him, I told him that I wait this deal,to go thru. He said that he will try and get back to me. So I left.

A few day went by, so I called looking for [redacted] the GM of Midway chevy. I spoke with [redacted] him asst. I told [redacted] about what had taken place a few days back. He asked me if theyntried to do anything to make it right.I said no they did not. He said that he would get back to be soon. I said thx. I called 24 hours after we talked, and he was not there. Soi left a message for him at that time. The next day I still didn't hear back from him, so call him again. [redacted] said that he gave [redacted] my info and that [redacted] was to call me. He said that he was sorry, and that he would call me back ASAP. [redacted] calls me back asking a few question, and to see if I could bring my truck so they could check it out. I told [redacted] that I did that in the 8th. He said ok I will get back to you. [redacted] calls back saying the best that they can do is 315.00 for 72 months. I told him the best I could do is 224.00 a month. [redacted] said if you can do better let me know.

I call,[redacted] back the next day, tell ing if I change some things around that best I can do is 250.00 a month for 72 months. [redacted] said that he will call me right back. [redacted] calls back saying that 298.00 an month for 72 months, I told him that I cant pay that much. I asked [redacted] will [redacted] pay me for my time spent that your place and gas? [redacted] said maybe 100.00 for you time. I said that I need to have them pay for someone to reinstall my stereo and my time and gas. He said sorry we can't do that for you.Desired Settlement: For Miday Chevy to sell me the truck I want for 224.00 a month or to pay me for the reinstall of my stereo and my time and gas.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.HelloLike I put in my statement, I had someone remove my stereo out of my truck because I was told by Midway Chevy that they could sell me the truck for $200.00 a month. I've spent money to have the stereo removed and reinstalled because of there mistake. I spent $475.80 to have audio express remove the stereo and reinstall it, plus my gas going back a forth. So there $250.00 pays for half of what I need. I have all my paper work from them if you need it. Thx for your help [redacted]Regards,[redacted]

On Thursday, Feb 11th, I submitted an email request to Midway Chevrolet for an "out-the-door" price quote on a specific Silverado truck (stock #XYZ123). This truck was advertised on their website as having a pre-rebate sale price of $45,195. The Internet Sales Manager responded to my inquiry with a pre-rebate price quote of $47,500, plus another $348 of non-descript "Options"... meaning total purchase price, before rebates and taxes, of $47,848 ($2,653 higher than their advertised price). I had already given him a link to their own page page (showing the advertised price), along with a picture of their pricing summary, for this specific truck. I told him that if he "can’t honor that price, then provide the contact info of the sales manager who can." He never responded to that request.

Two days later, Feb 13th, he contacted me via email with a request to come in so he could "make a deal" with me. I reiterated my request for an out-the-door quote on stock #XYZ123, based on their advertised sale price (at which point I again provided their web page link and a pic of their advertised price). He responded by saying, "We gave you the best price and we gave you all the rebates that you qualify for. I sent you the BEST deal we have." His "BEST deal" was still $2,653 higher than advertised on their website, before rebates and taxes, for this specific stock number.

At this point, I'm no longer willing to do business with Midway Chevrolet. I refuse to support businesses that behave unethically, and this is fraudulent advertising. I will advise all my friends and family members to avoid Midway Chevrolet. They need to be held accountable for their unethical business practices.

Review: On the day of 3/14/2016 my girlfriend and I drove into the dealership to look at a second vehicle for our family. We drove into the used car lot and were greeted by sales person Nick. We informed him we were looking for the cheapest truck they had available. Nick told us about a couple vehicles they had in the back. We found a truck we liked but Nick told us it was a salvage title. We decided a salvage title was not what we were looking for, he then brought out a 07 Suburban which he stated was $10,000. Once the paper work was started we found out the Suburban was $24,000 and that is when we walked out of the dealership. Nick came chasing after us telling us the S-10 was not a salvage title his manager Jack was lying and he couldn't sell the truck until the next day due to a tent event sale. on 3/15/2016 we arrived at 8 am to find someone had carved " [redacted] on the drivers door, to finish the purchase a blank check was needed so I drove down to Chase with Nick when arriving back to the truck it wouldn't start. Nick said we would fix the truck 100%. We finalized the deal and later when we were driving away the check engine light came back on. We called Nick and he said to bring it in on 3/18/2016. We arrived back on 3/18/2016 to find we had to wait for Jack because he said he didn't agree to those conditions. Waited 2 hours for Jack all he has to say was come back on 3/21/2016. On this date when I brought my truck in the had no idea what I was there for, and said it would take half a day. Since, then they still have my truck and we are constantly playing phone tag with this company. We did end up speaking with the general manager of sales and he said we could return the truck, but seemed neglected to inform us it will be under a voluntary repo and would hurt my auto credit for 7 years. It's currently 3/25/2016 and they will not return our calls to inform us about our truck.Desired Settlement: A refund without it being considered a voluntary repo.

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter will confirm our telephone call today with respect to Midway Chevrolet Auto Dealership located at [redacted] .

Thank you for sharing with me the 53 various complaints that you stated during our conversation. You did indicate that you would send me a hard copy of all registered complains.

I am enclosing a copy of a letter to my fiance', [redacted],that she received soliciting her to purchase an automobile and that Midway Chevrolet specialized in selling and financing people who had Bankruptcy pending or completed. [redacted] had her BK- 7 discharged July 09. 2014.

The attached letter to Midway Chevrolet management is self explanatory so I am requesting that the

Revdex.com record this complaint against the dealer. I will be contacting the [redacted] to file a formal complaint against the dealer's license.

Thank you very much for sharing with me the breakdown of the complaints; 29 of which were sales related but in my complaint it is sales, false adverting and also illegal and unethical conduct by their Sales people. If you have any questions with respect to my complaint or their solicitation letter, please (;<::11 me at [redacted] any time between 9:00AM and 5:00PM.

Re: [redacted]

Attn: [redacted],General Sales Mgr.[redacted],Used Car Sales Mgr. Gentlemen:

I am a semi-retired legal and financial consultant who accompanied [redacted], my fiance',to your used car facility at [redacted] received an invitation letter from your company soliciting her to purchase a used car since she was in Bankruptcy,Chapter 7,but it

recently was final and discharged, therefore, she has no debts. We have the letter that also promised

a $25.00 [redacted] Debit Card.

The day your letter was received, we made an appointment with your used car sales department and came to your used car facility yesterday and was introduced to [redacted], your sales consultant. We came specifically to test drive a 2006 [redacted] which price was quoted to be on sale for

$8,500.00. However, in the invitation letter, it indicated that an additional $500.00 off the price would

be deducted if we came to test drive the [redacted] which brought the sales price down to $8,000.00. Though the odometer read over 100,000 miles,my test drive proved the [redacted] ran well though it was not a certified vehicle with only a 30 day drive train warranty.

[redacted] and I decided we wished to purcha se the [redacted] and [redacted] took our application. To make the financing easier,I decided to trade in my 1992 [redacted] convertible collector car which was free and clear. Retail book on the [redacted] on my last check was over $7,000.00 given the low actual miles of only 102,000 miles. [redacted] test drove my [redacted] which did have some unrepaired body damage from a minor auto accident last May 2014.

We were into the financing segment of the purchase when your F & I man joined us to explain the financing options but then was only allowing me a $500.00 trade in allowance. Any dealer who looks at the lnfinitithat drives well with cold A/C,new convertible top with all accessories working will testify that the trade in allowance was a bad faith appraisal gesture and that Midway Chevrolet was trying to steel my [redacted] from me. [redacted] knew I was a [redacted]. retired auto dealer for years and that I was a professional car buyer buying a few thousand cars at Dealer Auto Auctions.

Re: [redacted]

J. [redacted]

Attn: [redacted],General Sales Mgr.[redacted],Used Car Sales Mgr.

I had to retire from the car business due to several heart related surgeries. I am a current resident of [redacted] and am a decorated Veteran who served in the [redacted] in the 1950's over seas so all my medical or perscription needs are free to me. I am also a disabled Veteran and am protected by [redacted]

While the F & I employee was looking at the financing options and we were still at [redacted], another sales person came in to take the [redacted] keys and I told him we were in the process of buying the [redacted],it was sold, but the salesperson returned later and said that a new customer wanted to test drive and perhaps buy the [redacted] from under us. That was such a shock to me and a very unethical business practice that I could hardly believe it was happening. I told the F & I person that we could make a $2,000.00 or more cash down payment and a $500.00 monthly payment since our combined income is nearly $3,000.00 per month with no bills except a [redacted]

issued to [redacted] which I generally pay off monthly.

Desired Settlement: We waited another hour only to be told by another employee that they had just sold the [redacted] from under us. [redacted] and I were shocked and decided to leave but wanted the $25.00 Visa Debit Card as promised in the letter that we had received. I waited for a while only to find out the Dealer had no [redacted] Card to give us so we walked out and [redacted] was crying at what the dealer did to

us. She decided to call the dealer management about what happened to us but got no where.

It is for theses reasons, among others, that a complaint will be filed against your Company/Corp. with any sources available to us. It is my legal opinion and that of a local law practice that your Company acted in bad faith even though your employees committed illegal acts against us. Under the law of Agency, your Company is responsible for any and all acts that they commit against the public body. At this point I am not sure that the [redacted] was really sold to another party for cash as we were advised by your staff.

August 14, 2014Phoenix Revdex.com[redacted] Re: ID# [redacted] We are in receipt of the complaint filedby [redacted] regarding [redacted]’s experience at Midway Chevrolet. We would like to bring to your attention thatMidway considers [redacted] to be the customer, not [redacted]. We sincerely regret that we were notable to place [redacted] in the vehicle of her choice. As was stated in the complaint there wasanother customer that was at the dealership at the same time to look at thevehicle. Standard process at our dealership to negotiate a price for the newvehicle and where applicable negotiate a trade value for a vehicle being tradedin. Upon completion of this negotiationan “offer to purchase” is formed and the customer is asked to sign the documentindicating that they have agreed with the terms and conditions that werenegotiated. An offer to purchase was not completedand signed by [redacted] or [redacted]. There were no written agreements as tothe price of the vehicle, trade value for the 1992 Infiniti, and no writtendown payment. In the time that [redacted] spenttrying to negotiate a better price for his trade, the other customer finalizedtheir negotiations and closed the deal by signing all of the appropriate legalpaperwork. This is standard operatingprocedure for car dealerships. I canassure you that the vehicle was indeed sold as stated. We apologize that our staff did notrespond in an appropriate manner to the set of circumstances as they wereevolving and provide better feedback to [redacted]. The staff may have used bad judgment, but inno way acted in bad faith or committed illegal acts against [redacted]. Midway Chevrolet has been in contactwith [redacted] and apologized that the gift card was not available on the dayshe visited the dealership. A gift cardhas been sent to [redacted]. Review: The general manager, sales manager, finance manager ignored my complaints about the high monthly payments. The finance officer stated that my credit score was 100 points lower than it actually is and after first overcharging me on no agreed price 3200 dollars over the sticker price. The original contract was voided and re-written based on a bad credit score. With my verbal attempts to let them know I was unhappy with the loan, they promised a call back and did not.

I've talked to the bank who financed the loan and they said Midway could have gotten me a 3% instead of a 5.09% interest rate and monthly payments approximately 150.00 Less than agreed on. Midway quoted on paper my credit score at approximately 625 and Paper recieved from the bank quoted at 712 considered "A" paper at First Credit Union.Desired Settlement: A new loan with lower monthly payments and lower interest rates based on my good credit rating.

Our Finance Director, [redacted] has contacted Mr. [redacted] regarding his purchase at Midway Chevrolet. We believe all of Mr. [redacted]'s concerns have been addressed to his satisfaction.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

I traded in my car to Midway Chevrolet and got a new car. They did not verify that the title on my car was clear before finalizing my loan. after the loan was paid to them then they called and told me to return the car or pay the other car off. I could not do that so they took the new car and won't return my trade in.

Review: While I was looking for my first car in 2011 of Junex, so that I could get back and forth to work. I gave Mid-Way Chevy/[redacted] a try and later went with Mid-Way Chevy. On the day I arrived to the Chevy location I was met by a sale's woman by the name of [redacted], she attempted to sell me a car for the most part what I was looking for at the beginning, but as time went by like an hour she and the sale's team began to try to get me in any thing that they could! But I was not seeing any auto I wanted and was about to leave, when the [redacted] my state to me that if I would only get an auto for 6-8 months but more so 8 months she would get me a mush lower auto payment and drop the interest rate by at least 7% to even 10%! From a 22% interest and lower the close to $500.00 car payment; after the 8 months past with full payments! I agreed and got a 2007 SUV with close to 90,000 miles with an interest of 22% and payments of close to $500.00 monthly, she informed she would get me the truck I wanted Tacoma! And the next day the sales team also told it would be nothing but productive to get an warranty and [redacted] insurance and it would make it a WAY better tread in, so I took their advice and did so and the payment went up to $530.00 and also my dad co-signed! Now I made all my payments and even had no issues making other payments! After a bit over 8 months I went back to Mid-Way and was like am ready to tread the auto and it was like I was talking in a different language and no one know about the 8 month program and said they could not help me get out of the car and they told me if my dad co-singed again they could get me in a new Malibu! WHAT! I then attempted for MONTHS to talk with the highest manager, but never got one call back, no appointment nothing; even after driving they’re which was like an 2 hours drive back and front! I know never where to go to try to get this matter fixed and I lost my recording of the 3-4 hour sale! Months go by no help, and then years still no help! Then I thought at the end of 2014 to complain to the Chevy headquarters and they did not much but send an e-mail and Mid-Way sent them an e-mail saying they could not help me! And nothing was done, now one day in Junex of 2015 I was going through old files and FOUND THE AUDIO RECORDING OF THE LIAR SALE'S WOMAN AND TEAM! I just completed a new complaint and reopened my complaint from 2014 with Chevy headquarters and was able to discuss the matter with Chevy headquarters and it has gone all the way up the executive office and my be going to the CEO [redacted] of Chevy headquarters. I am waiting to hear back from them and they have some of the recording of the sale's woman lying to me and being deceitful!

They have just about damaged my credit cause the cost was to much for me to pay and it was wrong what they did, all to sell a car and the sale's woman and most of the team have been FIRED since! Mostly every time I attempted to have Mid-Way fix this matter they were and are RUDE, GREEDY AND TO A POINT JUST RIGHT EVIL!

They messed up my and my fathers credit!

And it's ALL RECORDED, SO I'M NOT TELLING HE SAY, SHE SAY STUFF!Desired Settlement: To correct the auto matter to right an unjust action done by their team and to pay for the auto or get me an great, tremendously fantastic.... deal on a new car, even if it's at their cost, so a wrong can be corrected in the most productive manner! And to NEVER again use making money as the end day goal and not caring about the out that a horrifying deal can cause on a person and family!

Response:

We are in receipt of the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted] regarding his experience at Midway Chevrolet. Mr. [redacted] and his father purchased a 2007 Equinox from Midway Chevrolet four years ago. Our records indicate that his loan APR was set at 20.95 for 48 months. The final payment is to be made on July 2, 2015.The interest rate afforded to a customer is dependent on that customer’s credit worthiness and is controlled by the lender, not Midway Chevrolet. Mr. [redacted] had every opportunity to find re-financing independent from Midway Chevrolet during the last four years.Mr. [redacted] did visit our dealership in February, 2012. We were unable to place him in another vehicle due to the negative equity on the vehicle he wanted to trade in. We regret that we are unable to comply with Mr. [redacted] request that we pay for a vehicle he has had in his possession for the last four years and has driven over 62,000 miles. As we stated in our first correspondence, Mr. [redacted] purchased this vehicle over four years ago. On the “Retail Installment Contract”, the primary owner of the vehicle is listed as [redacted] is listed as the co-buyer. We can provide a copy of this document upon request. Please find attached records of phone calls that were made to Herbert and [redacted] over the past 3 years. These calls indicate that Midway Chevrolet contacted the customer in an effort to create a new sales opportunity. Our position has not changed in regards to the resolution Mr. [redacted] is asking for. Mr. [redacted] was free to pursue other financing options with the current lender, other dealerships or lenders during this four year period and did not. We would be willing to work with Mr. [redacted] in finding another vehicle, but cannot make any guarantees as we do not know what his current credit situation is.Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.Sincerely,[redacted]Compliance Director – Midway Chevrolet

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

[redacted] To Midway Chevrolet:

In reply to MidWay, I in no way can agree with their lies and blunt deception. Their words on paper... sound a bit well, but they and I both know they deceived me and even a first time car payer!

1. They were informed that I had NO intentions on keeping the 2007 Chevy that they deceived me into buying. They knowingly know this, was stated and documented. They did not want me to leave without them getting a sale and this goes beyond the saleswoman, it’s the sales team!

2. Second they really enjoy attempting to throw around, well Mr. [redacted] can simply go to another place for re-financing!

The fact of the matter is that Mr. [redacted] had no drive to get a car to “RE-FINANCE” it! Mr. [redacted] looked at a cars at MidWay to perhaps get and found NONE and got ready to LEAVE the MidWay Chevy location after the sales team tried everything (fact), but once the sales team informed Mr. [redacted] again (also informed of this at the MidWay [redacted] location, right next door) of the 6-8 month program, not until that point did I agree to work with THEIR program of getting to car for 6-8 months, and not “RE-FINANCING” in 6-8 months but getting the car that I wanted at a much lower % rate!

3. Now to “four year” statement!; swindlers they are! Now let the truth continue to come out. After the 6-8 month program was completed by Mr. [redacted] without issues! Mr. [redacted] arrived (Febx 2012) to the location to be only met with the end result of liars; the liars (Midway team) had nothing to tell me in the matter of following throw with their part and could not even really look me in my eyes! At that point I known I was deceived! But they did in fact try to sell me a Malibu (I was promised I would be able to get the TRUCK I wanted with a much lower % rate), SMH. The sales team just gave me the run around and management would not have dialog with me. I asked to speak with the main manager of that location, which I was informed of and took his information down to contact later in the week. Once I began to contact the main manager it was ALWAYS something, and he was NEVER there, and I main never, this to is document. Cause MidWay will lie and I really mean it! After driving there from Tempe, Az to North Phoenix multiple times (takes at least to close to two hours), on top of one of the salesman told as he walked me out after waiting hours to fix this matter, he said, “you should go down to Kia, they have better deals”! SMH. I called for months and had not one person to help with this matter nor have ANY OF MY MESSAGES TO THE MAIN MANAGER BEEN RETURNED AFTER MANY ATTEMPTES, EVEN DRIVING THERE NUMEROUS OF TIMES. What do you do when you are stuck and know no others way out, or in this case whom to complain too? Remember I’m from Texas not Arizona, young and a first time car buyer alone! In the year of 2012 I contacted them a numerous amount of times! Also documented.

4. Now to the “we called Mr. [redacted] for sale opportunity”, now by now we all should know once a company has your information they time from time we solicit you for SALES (I.E TRYNG TO YOUR MONEY, THAT’S IT!). Did the MidWay team also bring up the FACT that every time they called me I informed their sales people that their sale team lied to me to get me in this car? No! THE ONLY REASON THEY CALL ME IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE MY INFORMATION AND I’M NOTHING BUT A FILE TO APPEMPT TO SOLICIT FUNDS FROM, THAT’S IT! If MidWay tried so hard to help Mr. [redacted], why did no one for over a year get back to me on the matter, every call to the head manager went with NO reply back time and time again! Why was the two numbers they provided me with for their headhunter’s one number only would ring (Arizona office)? Why was the other number they gave me to their Tx office non-working and when I called them back on this, they said this is the only information we have for headhunter’s?

I have many voice recorded documents to show the LIES of the MidWay Chevy team! That’s easy, if the Revdex.com would like them all you have to do is ask and I will mail a usb to you with the files and notes!

The Most High of the bible is my father and you all will have your day for your wickedness, don’t worry it’s coming, FACT! Repent if you can and start to keep the law! I will leave you with this:

16 These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

[redacted])

12 But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of [redacted] in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.

[redacted])

11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

[redacted])

28 A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.

[redacted])

19 The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.

[redacted])

2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

[redacted])

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

[redacted])

18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

[redacted])

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

[redacted])

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

[redacted])

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Lord will be done.

The sales side is amazing. By all means buy your car at this dealership. They have the most professional sales department I've ever seen at a dealership and I worked at one. As for the service stay far away from them. The mechanics are incompetent. They first off let the car that I bought through shop with a blown trans cooler. Then took almost two weeks to do a job that should of taken way less. I got the car back and the transmission is bouncing which means it's loose. Avoid the midway service department at all costs.

Review: This dealership took my car and did not give me the value of the trade-in to apply to the car that made me buy. As of today’s date, Midway Chevrolet has made $19,795.00 on my trade-in of $7,000 and the new loan amt of 12, 795.85 on the 2007 Chevrolet Malibu they then told me was the option left for me once I returned the 2013 Equinox. Midway Chevrolet has close to $20,000.00 of my money and a brand new vehicle listed for $24,680.98. I believe in my heart that they took advantage of a woman still undergoing cancer treatment and have left me financially holding the bag. For their deceptive business practices.Desired Settlement: I would like the $7,000 trade-in value 2008 Equinox applied to the new loan, have them take the loan of the 2007 Chevrolet Malibu and it become a wash but what I would really like is my Chevrolet 2008 Equinox back.

Ms. [redacted] had the vehicle in her possession from August 3, 2013 to August 16, 2013. It was after this period of time the customer decided that the vehicle did not meet her budget guidelines and that she wanted to trade it in. The 2013 vehicle was funded by and titled to Ms. Simonelli. When a vehicle is officially titled, we can only buy it and sell it as a used vehicle.

We were unable to return Ms. Simonelli’s original trade (2008 Equinox) as it had been sold. The dealership worked with Ms. [redacted] to place her into a vehicle that met her financial situation. In this investigation we did find that there were two products Ms. [redacted] should have received a refund on. We have requested those be cancelled and a

check will be mail directly to her.

On 8/16/13 Ms. [redacted] purchased a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu.

The listed vehicle price was $10,900

Trade in value for the 2013 Equinox 20,500

Amount owed on 2013 Equinox 24,680.00

of products on 2013 Equinox: $ 4,887.00

Total price of vehicle to finance: $12,795.85

We have met with Ms. [redacted] on previous occasions to explain the transactions and the loss of money for trading in the 2013 Equinox. We would be more than happy to have our Director of Finance, Matt Stewart sit down with Ms. [redacted] to review both transactions. We regret that this has been an unpleasant experience for Ms. Simonelli.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

Sincerely,

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I a am not satisfied with the outcome and would gladly welcome speaking to someone in authority at Midway Chevrolet since I feel that they took my car and did not give any kind of concession for it, that is called theft since they did not provide any consideration and then two weeks later sent me an email showing my 2007 Equinox for sale on their website. As for the application of whatever substance they are talking about that was part of the warranty they talked me into purchasing for an additional $3,000.00 and was not applied at anytime that the car was in my possession. I believe that this company should, be investigated by the [redacted] and intend on filing a complaint with this office. They took my trade-in and put the 2013 Equinox back on their lot for sale. The only financial loss to them was the $30,000.00 loan they would no longer claim on their books as a sale. I still believe that between what they took from me and then turned around and sold for $13,500.00 according to their email ad and then had me purchase a used 2007 Chevrolet Malibu which has now cost me $20,000.00 in total. Financially Midway Chevrolet has benefited greatly by my loss and I am not satisfied at all with the outcome and continue to ask your office to pursue this matter further.

Thank you.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

I'm a business owner who was looking to purchase a work/service van for our business, after several e-mails back and forth I made a time to come down and look at three work vans, all advertised on-line from Midway Chevy, one advertised for $25720.00 dollars and one advertised for $27923.00 dollars and $27923.00 respectively. Each of these vans was in stock... the salesperson started to work up a deal in which I stated each of these vans are listed as advertised units and gave him the pricing of each; he said he couldn't sell them for that, that he would lose $9000.00 dollars. Immediately the sale manager was called, the sales manager said the van was being sold with out the service body, I told him he was crazy and showed him the on-line ad, he told me he wasn't responsible for the ad. Midway has many vans for sale and some of the ad's show just a van with out a body which is understandable. But to have (3) of these work vans advertised with pictures of full van bodies etc. Is very deceptive, and indicative of a true bait and switch tactics. I have full documentation of their ad and pricing. There is no ambiguity only false advertising.
