The only items that were brought out with the work crew was rolls of underlayment and some ridge vent materialThese were taken when the crew left Had my materials been left as they claim, I would not have had to pay for them again when the roof was properly repaired and replaced by Target Restoration America Roofing could not and would not produce a valid liability insurance policy after the home floodedTheir insurance had been allowed to lapse and they had no coverage at the time they started the roof job and when the home floodedThey were not allowed to complete the job being uninsured and not bonded. The home suffered water damage to every single room from the roof being torn off and not covered adequately, not just the master bedroomThe ceilings and walls in every room were soakedThe home had been releveled over a year before the roof was worked onThe releveling did not cause any roof leaksThe two pictures that America Roofing attached are from after the water came into the homeThe picture with the board holding up the ceiling was done to keep the ceiling from falling after it had gotten wet and started saggingIf you look you can easily see the wet water spots on the ceilingThe other picture was from a spare bedroom that was being remodeled prior to the roof being replacedThe ceiling had been removed in that room and insulation stapled to the rafters then covered with plasticIf you look, you can see that it is also sagging from the weight of the water that had come in from the open roofThe home re leveling a year prior had absolutely nothing to do with America Roofing tearing off my old roof, leaving it inadequately covered during a major storm and causing the home to flood

After their refusal to provide their insurance carrier information, refusal to file a claim, and their negligence shown on the roof, I declined to have them perform any additional work on the homeThey were operating with no insurance we have since determined America Roofing still has not returned my $that I paid upfront for materials that they never delivered They have cashed my check that was clearly marked materials for HoffmeyerTheir employee, *** *** *** said the pallet of materials was left setting at Lowes and *** *** **was not going to pick them up or deliver them to the homeThe money for the material needs to be refunded immediatelyI will also need to be reimbursed for my insurance deductible and any increase in premium to my homeowners insurance due to a claim having to be filed since they did not have any insurance in effect at the time of the incident.

making "excuses", and promises to show up and start work, but breaking those promises repeatedly by not showing up or calling, since September 2, 2017.It is now December 25, 2017. They have had my $advance deposit since August 21, 2017. That's FOUR MONTHS, and STILL no materials have been brought to the property, and no work has begun, even though "measurements" have been made THREE TIMES already.Therefore, I hereby inform America Roofing (again) that this contract was CANCELED as of Monday, December 18, 2017. And that the next steps I will take are: I will file a formal complaint with Waco Police Department on a charge of "Theft by Fraud", and hereby advise that if anyone representing America Roofing comes onto my property for any reason other than refunding $by either cash, money order, or certified bank check; I will call the police and file a complaint for "Trespassing"and;If my $advance deposit funds is not refunded immediately then suit will be filed in McLennan County Court.If the deposit of $is made by the end of December 2017, then the charges and lawsuit will be dropped

Tell me anything and say anything to keep putting me off and "kicking the can down the road".It's frustrating that I handed them $all at once but they want to pay me back monthly.
