MoneyLion has resolved this complaint and believes that no further action is required at this timeOn November 15, Ms [redacted] applied and was approved for a personal loan from MoneyLionOn February 16, 2018, Ms [redacted] called MoneyLion to make a payment on her loanMoneyLion accepted her payment information and informed her that it would run the paymentDue to a system error, the payment was not processedMoneyLion has spoken to Ms [redacted] and arranged to mathe payment that was not processed and waived any interest that accrued in the meantimeWe believe that these actions should resolve her concerns

MoneyLion is an online provider of loans and financial servicesThe company has provided loans to thousands of customersThis customer applied for a loan with our company and shortly thereafter contacted our office and requested his application be withdrawnMoneyLion withdrew the loan application and marked this file accordingly

MoneyLion has researched this complaint and resolved it for the customerOn February 6, Ms [redacted] signfor MoneyLion Plus, a membership program that provides a variety of financial and investment servicesAs a part of that membership program, Ms [redacted] also took out a loan from MoneyLionThe costs and benefits of the membership program, including the membership fee, were disclosed to Ms [redacted] during the siprocess as well as in her membership agreementNevertheless, MoneyLion has canceled Ms [redacted] ’s membership in MoneyLion PlusMoneyLion will still require Ms [redacted] to pay back the loan she received while in the membership programMoneyLion believes that these actions should resolve her concerns

MoneyLion has researched this complaint and will resolve it for the customerOn October 18, Ms [redacted] applied and was approved for a loan from MoneyLionAt that time, Ms [redacted] appears to have also enrolled in MoneyLion’s credit monitoring tool that allows members to monitoring their credit scoresMs [redacted] has made her loan payments on time and is current on her loanNeither the terms of the loan nor the credit monitoring product promised that MoneyLion would report on Ms [redacted] ’s loan progress to the credit bureau that it works with, TransUnionNevertheless, MoneyLion will submit a report on Ms [redacted] ’s loan to TransUnion and it will be reflected on her credit report after they’ve had time to process itWe believe that these actions should resolve her concerns

MoneyLion has researched this complaint and resolved it with the consumerOn November 22, Ms [redacted] signed up for the MoneyLion Plus Standard Membership program which provides a variety of financial and credit monitoring servicesAs a part of the membership program, Ms [redacted] also took out a loan from MoneyLionMs [redacted] now claims that she was not made aware of the monthly membership fee stating that she thought it was only a one-time feeThe costs and benefits of the membership program, including the monthly membership, were disclosed to Ms [redacted] during the siprocess as well as in the Membership Agreement that she signedNevertheless, MoneyLion will refund her the subsequent membership payments she made after the initial payment and cancel her membershipMoneyLion will still require her to payoff the loan she received while in the program and she has made arrangements to do soMoneyLion believes that these actions should resolve her concerns

MoneyLion has investigated this complaint and resolved it with the consumerOn December 27, Mr [redacted] signed up for MoneyLion Plus, our membership program that provides a variety of financial and investment servicesOn January 4, Mr [redacted] requested to cancel his membership which MoneyLion honored and processedDue to constraints with our payment processor, Mr***' first membership payment was already set to process and a payment was made of $on January 5, MoneyLion has agreed to refund Mr [redacted] that payment and he should see that refund within the next 1-business daysWe believe that these actions should resolve his concerns

We received an application containing the complainant's name and personal informationHowever, our system promptly and automatically rejected it due to inconsistencies with the ID information provided.An adverse action letter was sent to Mr [redacted] advising that the application was rejectedNo, hard inquiries were made on any of Mr, [redacted] 's credit report's and in that the application was rejected, Mr [redacted] is under no obligation to the loanIf you have any questions or need any additional information please let us know

also took out a loan of $from MoneyLionAfter utilizing the membership program, Mr*** disputed the membership fee. The costs and benefits of the Membership Program, including the membership fee, were disclosed to Mr*** during the application process and in the Membership Agreement that he signedIn that Mr*** does want to continue his membership, we have agreed cancel his membership and refund the membership payments that he has madeMr*** has agreed to payoff the balance of his loan In regards to Mr ***’s allegations of harassing calls and the use of his private informationWe have not made any calls to this consumer other than the one call to resolve this matter, which was resolved as described above; all interactions we have had with the consumer were from calls he placed to our customer service team or chats he initiated on our websiteOur customer service representatives have endeavored to provide him with the best support possibleWe have not shared his private information with anyone and protect his information in accordance with our privacy policyBased on our discussions with Mr***, this matter has been resolved

MoneyLion has investigated this complaint and resolved it with the consumerOn January 9, the consumer signed up for the MoneyLion Plus Standard Membership Program which provides a variety of financial and credit monitoring servicesAs a part of the membership program, the consumer also took
out a $loan from MoneyLionThe costs and benefits of the membership program, including the membership fee, were disclosed to the consumer during the application process as well as in her membership agreement. Nevertheless, MoneyLion is willing to cancel her membership and refund the membership payment that she made in January of MoneyLion will require that the consumer still payoff the loan that she received while in the Membership ProgramShe may contact our retentions department to arrange for payment on the loanWe believe that these actions resolve the consumer’s concerns

MoneyLion on February 11, The membership fee was disclosed to Mr*** during the application process and in the membership agreement that he signedNevertheless MoneyLion has canceled his MoneyLion Plus Membership and waived the outstanding membership fee that he owedMoneyLion will only require Mr*** to payoff the loan that he received while in the program as indicated in his loan agreementWe believe that these actions have resolved his concerns

MoneyLion has reviewed this complaint and resolved it with the customerOn October 12, 2017, Ms*** applied and was approved for a $1,loan from MoneyLionDue to technical issues with one of our third-party payment processors, the funding of Ms***’s loan was delayed and not able to
be deposited into her bank account until October 17, Ms*** contacted MoneyLion regarding the delay and MoneyLion apologizedAs a further curtesy, MoneyLion offered to defer her first scheduled payment due to the delay in depositing the funds into her accountMs*** declined the deferment and instead elected to rescind her acceptance of the loan which MoneyLion honoredAt the time of the rescinding of the loan, the funds were already en route to Ms***’s bank accountMoneyLion waited for those funds to settle and then initiated a transfer to reclaim the fundsMoneyLion has now received back the loan funds and Ms***’s account has been closedWe apologize for Ms***’s experience and inconvenience but would be happy to serve her in the future
