I am rejecting this response because: I have contacted Money Lion on several times in regards to this issueI contacted them last week to make sure they had my correct information on file to process payments and was reassured the correct information was on fileHowever, once again I am getting correspondence stating my membership is suspended due to non paymentThe customer service is horrible and ALL the mistakes being made is no fault of mine.

The company has investigated this consumer’s complaint and been working with the consumer to resolve this matterOn October 9, 2017, the consumer signfor the company’s Plus membership program which provides a variety of financial and investment servicesAs a part of that membership program,
the consumer also took out a $loan from the company on October 12, Due to a system error when the consumer entered their banking and payment information, the system inadvertently attempted to process the consumer’s monthly subscription fee on their savings account which lacked the necessary funds to make the paymentThe company has corrected the error and sent the consumer a refund for the overdraft fees accrued in her bank accountWe have canceled her Plus membership and waived any outstanding subscription feesThe company will still hold the consumer responsible for the outstanding balance of the loan she took out on October 12, The consumer may continue with her payment schedule or call our customer service team to payoff the loan at any time

On November 22, 2017 Ms. [redacted] signed up for the MoneyLion Plus Standard Membership program which provides a variety of financial and credit monitoring services. out a loan from MoneyLion. Ms. [redacted] now claims that she was not made aware of the monthly membership fee stating that she thought it was only a one-time fee. The costs and benefits of the membership program, including the monthly membership, were disclosed to Ms. [redacted] during the sign-up process as well as in the Membership Agreement that she signed. Nevertheless, MoneyLion will refund her the subsequent membership payments she made after the initial payment and cancel her membership. MoneyLion will still require her to payoff the loan she received while in the program and she has made arrangements to do so. MoneyLion believes that these actions should resolve her concerns.

MoneyLion has researched this complaint and will resolve it for the customer. On October 18, 2017 Ms. [redacted] applied and was approved for a loan from MoneyLion. At that time, Ms. [redacted] appears to have also enrolled in MoneyLion’s credit monitoring tool that allows members to monitoring their credit...

scores. Ms. [redacted] has made her loan payments on time and is current on her loan. Neither the terms of the loan nor the credit monitoring product promised that MoneyLion would report on Ms. [redacted]’s loan progress to the credit bureau that it works with, TransUnion. Nevertheless, MoneyLion will submit a report on Ms. [redacted]’s loan to TransUnion and it will be reflected on her credit report after they’ve had time to process it. We believe that these actions should resolve her concerns.

MoneyLion has investigated this complaint and come to a resolution with the customer. The customer applied for and received a loan from MoneyLion on November 15, 2017. Based on the information provided to us by the customer, MoneyLion set up his payment schedule according to the dates that he is...

paid by his employer. The customer later disputed that he is paid on the dates given to MoneyLion in his loan application. MoneyLion is happy to rearrange the payment dates based on the updated schedule he provided to our customer service team and MoneyLion has now made those changes. MoneyLion will also process a refund for the overdraft fees the customer incurred.

MoneyLion has resolved this complaint and believes that no further action is required at this time. On November 15, 2017 Ms. [redacted] applied and was approved for a personal loan from MoneyLion. payment information and informed her that it would run the payment. Due to a system error, the payment was not processed. MoneyLion has spoken to Ms. [redacted] and arranged to make-up the payment that was not processed and waived any interest that accrued in the meantime. We believe that these actions should resolve her concerns.

Nevertheless, MoneyLion has canceled her membership and waived the outstanding membership fees. The outstanding membership fees were not reported to TransUnion, the credit bureau with which we work. We believe that these actions should resolve her concerns.

6, 2018, Ms. [redacted] called MoneyLion to update the payment information on her account and make a payment. Due to an internal error, the payment was not processed and Ms. [redacted] was sent a notice of default by our automated system. MoneyLion has since contacted Ms. [redacted] and processed the requested payment and her account is now up-to-date. MoneyLion believes that these actions should resolve her concerns.
