I was hesitant about buying from Vision Direct after reading some negative reviews, but the first-time-buying discount of 25% off and free shipping on contacts was too good to pass upI purchased a month supply of Bioinfinity Toric contacts for about $I've received my order in a reasonable amount of time, my contacts feel great and were received in great condition, I'm extremely happy about the price after discount, and I would definitely buy from again and recommend to others! I have AWFUL eyesight, and an astigmatism, so I knew ordering contacts would take longer than averageI believe their website advertises shipping to occur in about days, but I anticipated it to take weeks longer based on previous reviewsSure enough, after I placed my order, and uploaded my recent prescription from my optometrist, it was placed on hold to retrieve from the manufacturerI placed my order on 4/14/16, and received them 4/22/ Waiting days for processing/shipping with a strong/unusual prescription is pretty quick to me! Or at least reasonable I can't attest to their customer service as I never contacted themI did, however, receive an immediate email confirmation of my order, and received another email once it was shipped outI appreciated these prompt email updates What to expect when ordering from Vision Direct: To speed up the process, have a scanned pdf or image of your prescription ready to uploadI did and it still took them about days to review and approveHence, expect shipping to take a bit longer than that days (although some seem to have better luck)With those prices for the same quality and brand of contacts, I wouldn't have minded waiting even longer than I did! I was ordering the so called "1-year supply" of contact lenses, days after the eye exam, expiring in yearThis appeared to be a problem because they said prescription is six days shorter than supplyI explained that I usually wear lenses in the evening and most mornings to avoid having them full hour daySo for me pairs actually last barely months so perfectly fit within prescription expirationDirect Vision support said I have to go back to doctor and get in writing my unusual use of lenses Seriously? Waste time and money for extra doctor visit? I order lenses for many years and none of the other companies had problems with a week-short prescription

On 12/31/I placed an order online to purchase boxes of contact lensesBefore I received the shipment I had realized that the prescription was too highSo, I contacted Vision Direct & advised them of the problemThey said no problem & sent me a label to return the productThey said as soon as they receive the product they would give me a full refund On 2/3/I used the label they sent me to return the unopened box via USPS and tracking # [redacted] The product was received by Vision Direct warehouse on 2/16/After few weeks I called to get an update on the refundThey said it can take up to days to process the refund On 3/7/I called againThis time they said that because days has lapsed, I can only get a store credit I told the rep but you have had the product t in your warehouse days agoHer reply – well the Warehouse didn’t put any note & that she has no one of contacting them This is ludicrous .She took my contact in

I suspect the contacs are rejects, since the first one I used started curling and was unusable within weeks, rather than they have always lasted me at least weeks for the past yearsAlso, they got my prescription wrong, and sent me a -instead of a +1.75, and because I opened one without noticing the - instead of the +, they are making me return them and only giving me a 50% credit It was their mistake because I sent them the prescription

Once you sign up with an account, it is impossible to delete itThey save your credit information without your consent to do so and won't give you an option to delete it off your account

Vision Direct failed to honor their price match guarantee as stated on their website I made at least seven attempts to contact them via email to resolve the issue starting on April through April The issue was never resolvedI made at least three phone calls to them on April 18, April 24, at April againAll of those calls I was transferred to a supervisor's voicemail, but nobody ever called me back Their policy is to refund the 105% of any competitorI followed the directions specifically on their websiteThey refunded me of $ The original total with Vision Direct was $Four boxes or a year supply on the Opticontacts website was $ Order [redacted] / Price Match [Incident: [redacted] ]

I ordered my contacts 11/ I called in 11/to track my order They were never sent out I then faxed and emailed my prescription online them I called back in to make sure they were received I had to resubmit Then called back in again and Hanna reassured my that yesterday they were being sent over night and I would get them today 11/ I called in this morning and needless to say they were never shipped out I will now not get them until Thursday I am extremely pissed and I can't see So, I will NEVER again order from this company And I will make sure to spread the word and needless to say this [redacted] Hanna should have NEVER tould me I will be getting them That [redacted] better get fired

I ordered contacts for my son who is active duty military on May 12, Vision direct sold to *** after our transaction As of today my son has still not received his contactsI have called and I have emailed continuously! My son just got back to his station in Italy and is leaving again, to fight for our country and still has no contacts!! And he is out the money he paid!! Shame on you!! Send him his stuff that he paid for!!

I placed an order for a 90day supply of contacts on 4/24/That same day my eye doctor called me to tell me they could not validate the prescription because it had expired Naturally I assumed the $order would be cancelled by visiondirect as they did not have a valid prescriptionOn 4/25/I had an eye exam from my doctor and was given a new & different prescription for lensesI ordered the new prescription lenses and paid $to my doctorAfter I got home I received an email from visiondirect telling me my order had shippedI immediately called them and explained the situation and asked for a refundThey said they were no longer accepting refunds, and that they had a legal right to process the order even though they didn't have a valid prescriptionNow I am out $for lenses I can't use and they won't give me a refund And, their "legal right" makes no sense to me

I was a bit apprehensive about ordering daily wear contact lenses from Vision Direct due to the negative reviewsThe price was very good and I had a new customer coupon code and was not in a hurry to receive the contacts, so I ordered themI was pleasantly surprised when they arrived days later (of those days were weekend days)I will order from Vision Direct again
