I ordered a year's supply of contact lenses with the understanding (stated on the website) that the lenses could be returned in unopened condition if my doctor changed my prescriptionThe company has now placed a sign on its site that all sales after April are final, and refuses to refund my lenses (purchased summer 2016, well before the cutoff date)Customer service provides a "canned" answer, stating they're unable to do anything further

I was hesitant about buying from Vision Direct after reading some negative reviews, but the first-time-buying discount of 25% off and free shipping on contacts was too good to pass upI purchased a month supply of Bioinfinity Toric contacts for about $I've received my order in a reasonable amount of time, my contacts feel great and were received in great condition, I'm extremely happy about the price after discount, and I would definitely buy from again and recommend to others!
I have AWFUL eyesight, and an astigmatism, so I knew ordering contacts would take longer than averageI believe their website advertises shipping to occur in about days, but I anticipated it to take weeks longer based on previous reviewsSure enough, after I placed my order, and uploaded my recent prescription from my optometrist, it was placed on hold to retrieve from the manufacturerI placed my order on 4/14/16, and received them 4/22/ Waiting days for processing/shipping with a strong/unusual prescription is pretty quick to me! Or at least reasonable
I can't attest to their customer service as I never contacted themI did, however, receive an immediate email confirmation of my order, and received another email once it was shipped outI appreciated these prompt email updates
What to expect when ordering from Vision Direct: To speed up the process, have a scanned pdf or image of your prescription ready to uploadI did and it still took them about days to review and approveHence, expect shipping to take a bit longer than that days (although some seem to have better luck)With those prices for the same quality and brand of contacts, I wouldn't have minded waiting even longer than I did!

On November 8th I ordered a set of contact lenses for my son, who is a second year medical student in NYC I paid for expedited deliveryI was charged $and assured that he would receive the contacts quickly On November 14th he had still not received the package, yet Vision Direct assured us that a H McNeil had signed for it No one with that name exists at that addressThis is the second shipment that has not been delivered and we notified Vision Direct that there was a potential scam where people were intercepting and stealing their packages They assured me that they would send replacement lenses yesterday (11-15), but failed to inform us that the lenses were on back order so, in fact, they wouldn't even ship for days My son is going through his medical school exams and this situation is ridiculous Further, when I cancelled my order they assured me: "Rest assured, your credit card has not been charged for this order." My credit card statement clearly shows I was charged $on November 12th

Note that paying for over night shipping doesn't mean you will get itThe website says 1-days shipping after prescription verificationWhat's that really means in 1-days to verify then a couple more them to order the product because it's not in stock then a couple more days for them to get you your productSo my over night shipping is turning into days of waiting

I ordered my contacts for the first time with them on 9/9/because of their discount offerGot the automatic confirmation by email right away and didn't hear from them afterwardsI called them on 9/21/and was told that the manufacturer (CooperVision) has had a problem at their plant and shipment is delayed indefinitelyThey were very eager to cancel my orderI called Costco Vision Center and they told me they haven't heard anything about a delay from CooperVision!

This is a terrible company to deal withOrdered contacts on Nov and now it is Dec 19, still no contactsContacted them about a week and half ago and then they told me they were on back orderI asked them why they did not let me know and was told that they have no way to tell if they are on back order from supplierSo basically if you order from them when you check on your order then they will look into it otherwise they just do not care

I had Nancy and she was WONDERFUL!! I was a first time customer and needed help placing my order and she helped me throughout the entire process and expedited my processing time AND she gave me FREE overnight shipping because I was on a time crunch and had to fly to Wisconsin in days! She found a 35% off coupon which discounted $from my order! I was blown away and this was EASILY one of the best customer experienced I have had with ANY businessI'll be a lifetime customer! This company must have been developed by a person who needs organizing skillR dry detail of placeing an order and getting my contacts to had been one of frustrationIt took them working days to verify my prescription and I am now into my second week without my contactsWriting to them is as bad an experience as their answer to ones problem is to attach links that go now where and answer nothingSpeaking to the inept supervisor is an experience which only makes the past contact with this horrendous company go to level ten in incompetent employeesWill Never use them again and recommend no one else try them out or you will regret it

After ordering Contact Lenses weeks ago, I am now leaving on an extended vacation without themI will never order from them again if they cant ship to me within weeks
