Dear Ms***: We empathize with you in that loan rates did move sharply higher in early November shortly after the election. However, our compliance and legal department have reviewed your file in detail and would be more than happy to explain to you why your loan file (or any loan file for that matter) may not have a rate lock in place at the preliminary stage of a loan. Due to privacy laws, we cannot discuss any matters on social media relating to a specific person’s personal data or loan. Please feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] or [email protected], and we would be more than happy to discuss this matter with you further

This email from the Revdex.com is a mystery to me For one thing, I sent to the Revdex.com of Orange County For another thing, the complaint has already been sent to the business and has been partially resolved Once I have verification that the funds are actually in my bank, I will notify Revdex.com that it was completed to my satisfaction

We contacted Monster Loans to refinance our home in MarchThey were quick to call and get the process startedWe submitted all required documents and we're told it was going to be an easy and quick processWe were told not to pay our April mortgage since we were going to closeApril came and went and when we tried to call and see what was going on our agent said we should have paid April but not to worry because we will close in MayWe paid April late then when May came and went we had to pay May (again late per their instruction) and still hadn't closedAll paperwork had been submitted and in June we were told yet again not to worry that it was hours from closingBy June 27th we still hadn't heard anything and there was no returned calls or emailsWe finally contacted them to stop the refinance processOur credit score went from to below a in the months of this process only because each month we were instructed not to payThis is the worst and most unprofessional company out thereWe paid $for our home inspection which was of no use along with $in late feesThey have destroyed our credit and we got nothing but promises and stress in return

I filed a complaint back on October 2016 because the business - after going through the whole loan process, said they would not honor the rate we had locked in. After I filed the complaint, I did hear from a manager, (who never actually left me his contact information) and he said they would try to get me the rate that had been advertised, but it could take a week or so for the rates to go back down. Additionally, he said they would take $1,000 off of our principal owed. That was in November. Here it is the middle of March and I never heard back. Not a follow up, not a "sorry rates haven't gone down" - NOTHING. And now rates are going up again. We've missed out on so many opportunities waiting for this company. Their customer service is appalling.
Would like the rate 2.99% as advertised, with no closing costs or fees, and the $1,000 towards principal.

Dear Mr. [redacted]:We do empathize with you in that loan rates did move sharply higher in early November shortly after the election.  Our compliance department and legal department has reviewed your file in detail and would be more than happy to explain to you why your loan file (or any loan file...

for that matter) may not have a rate lock in place at the preliminary stage of a loan.  A rate lock agreement or notice will be provided to a borrower in writing with a number of other disclosures and usually occurs after a loan underwriter has reviewed the file and provided a conditional approval.  Typically, this will require that the loan file be sufficiently complete to include many documents (such as proof of income, ownership, credit review, preliminary title review for issues such as liens, marital/divorce matters, etc.).  Due to privacy laws, we cannot discuss on social media any matters relating to a specific person’s personal data or loan.  Please feel free to reach out us at [email protected] or [email protected], and we would be more than happy to discuss this matter with you further.

On 6/9/17 I received written verification that my issue involving Monster Loans has been resolved to my satisfaction.  I'm not sure how to have the records updated with the Revdex.com. Complaint #[redacted]Thank you. [redacted]

I live in Florida on the east coast. My husband and I decided to refinance our home to consolidate bills. I was very uneasy at first since Monster Loans is located on the other side of the US but the gentleman I dealt with was very good and went out of his way in my opinion to help me with all the paperwork. We kept in close touch by text messages.
We went through a VA loan as was our original mortgage. I wanted to have everything happen by Aug. 15, and as it turns out it looks like it will happen by the 12th. I am very pleased with this company and very relieved that our debt problem will be so much more manageable. There was a lot of paperwork and inspections but all in all it was made simple thanks to the young man I dealt with. Thank You

I would say that my overall experience with the entire staff I worked with at Monster Loans was great! The customer service was outstanding. I judge that in the fact that there was not a time of day that I couldn't call or email and expect to receive a response or some guidance.
Our refinance took about two months and honestly later in the process my wife and I were starting to worry something might fall through - especially as this was our first ever refinance! However, the team at Monster really went the extra mile and provided reassurance and quickly lined up our closing! Also, we did do a cash out refinance and received our deposit in about a week - standard for any wire transfer. We definitely intend to do business with them in the future and would highly recommend anyone to consider them. Thanks!

Monster personnel controlled a very pleasant experience for me while refinancing my home. [redacted] and [redacted] were professional and timely every step along the way.

While I understand 100% that rates have risen and that is not your fault, I am 100% upset that no one ever followed up with me about this either. I was told I would be hearing from someone within a few weeks - and that did not happen. I should have at the very least received a call that "we're so sorry but it doesn't look like we are going to be able to make good on our offer". We missed out on low rates with EVERY other company waiting for you.  We started this process in September 2016. We should be paying $300 LESS a month on our mortgage right now, but we are not. That is $3,600 annually. We were offered $1,000 off of our principal as well - and at this point, I would think that is the least you could do, compensate us the $1,000 for our opportunities lost elsewhere. Your customer service really is appalling. I'm sure my file just got tossed to the side and no one looked at it again after my last call with manager what's his name, knowing full well rates would only be going higher.
Regards,
[redacted]
