*** ***We were told the vehicle had a thorough inspection yet they’re thoroughness missed holes that had been drilled into the headlightsThe service manager even stated they missed it! They just stated if we wanted it fixed they would have had to adjust the price which would suggest they knew about the issue yet did not divulge that information to is the customersPretty shady customer service if you ask meI will never do business with this dealership again and will forever inform any and everyone I come in contact with to avoid this dealership like the plague!

all she has to do is bring in the bill of sale and odometer statement from her new purchase and we can cancell her products.  been told the sevral times  can not be done over phone

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  I am not satisfied with the explanation given by the manager and still stand on my request to be refunded 1/2 of the labor charge. I wrote in detail my reason for this stand and believe the handling of this situation is not correct neither right!!

To Whom It May Concern:We did receive the complaint and called and discussed the issues with the customer.  I reviewed all of the documents with her and explained to her that each job has a specific amount of labor that is set by [redacted] which is used by Chevrolet and most dealerships...

nation wide.  I explained that if a repair is 1 hour, then that's all that we charge even if it is 30 minutes or 2 hours.  This is standard at nearly every dealership nationwide.  Customer did approve the diagnostic and the repair to be done and was aware of the cost associated with it before hand.  We have everything documented with the customer and the customer even admits that she did approve it.  There is no price gauging like the customer claims, everything is was done exactly as it was supposed to be.We try to make every customer as happy as we can, we followed every guide line that is set by Chevrolet and the State of South Carolina.If there are any additional questions or concerns please feel free to reach me on my cell phone at [redacted] Ken D[redacted]General ManagerSpartanburg Chevrolet

The customer, [redacted], was contacted by phone on 2/4/2016 at 4:10 pm.  The customer was informed that a refund check in the amount of $2,716.57 was being processed and that it would be available for pickup on Friday, 2/12,2016.   Sincerely, [redacted]Controller

I am speechless after reading your response to me. At no point did you take responsibility for any of my issues.  Basically, you out right have called me a liar. You must have forgotten that I had someone with me that can backup my experience that day and confirm that my words are true. Furthermore, I have messages between myself and a sales agent with your confirming that I wouldn't need a down payment or trade in vehicle. Given your childish, unprofessional and grammatically horrible response I received from you, I am prepared to go forward with my truthful evidence to accomplish so sort of satisfaction from this horrible experience!

To Whom It May Concern: Just as the customer stated, the headlight was working when the customer purchased the vehicle.  All of our pre-owned vehicles are sold as is and the customer even signed documents stating the vehicle is sold as-is.  Any and all issues need to be addressed...

before the purchase of a vehicle, not after.  Had the customer addressed the issue before hand we would have explained that all of our pre-owned vehicles are priced by the market and the condition of the vehicle, including any and all defects that there may be.  Had the customer wanted the repair fixed we would have had to increase the price of the vehicle to adjust for this.  We did offer to cancel the deal and return his trade and take ours back, but the customer refused because he knows he got a very good deal on our vehicle, but now wants something for free after the fact.While we do strive for excellent customer service, we have fulfilled all of our obligations to this deal.

As was previously explained, the customer approved the work to be done.  We quoted the work and followed South Carolina and Chevrolet guidelines.  The dealership did nothing wrong and therefore there is no further reply necessary.
