Check [redacted] and [redacted] for my rants about this company, but be very wary of a company that hands you an iPad to sign without actually showing you the total Yes, I know, my bad, and when I thought about it seconds after they left, looked at the bill that I signed (yes, I know, my bad...), and saw it was $when the other companies were in the $80-$range, well, shame on me Also, shame on Channel for having associated their name and perceived support to this company This whole deal is just bad news..., please learn from my mistake OVERPRICED, OVERPRICED, OVERPRICED!!!

I have a signed invoice from the customer authorizing the work to be done for the agreed price of $They had no problem when they signed off on it , and we also swiped their credit card when at the propertyThis customer obvioulsly caled other companies after we did the job and feels that they were overcharged for what was donewe exterminated a beehive of over 20,bees and cut in the wall and removed honeycombAgain they were informed of the price, and signed and agreed to it, I would like this complaint dismissed.I have a signed copy of the invoice and can scan and send to you in an email if you provide the email address Thanks, [redacted]

I usually read reviews before I contract anyone but was in a hurry Contacted Mountain View Pest Control and they promptly responded I asked for a quote before they started work and was told they first had to assess the problem and then let me know the guy put on his bee suit and starting spraying some kind of white powder on where the bees were entering the house After about a minute he comes over to me and tells me it will be $to kill the bees and $to open the ceiling and remove the honey comb I balked at the price and said I needed to get a couple more quotes before I would decide He said that he had already treated the nest and killed the bees so I already owed him the $ To make a long story short, I refused to pay him anything because I had asked for and was expecting a quote up front Instead they tried to shake me down and strong arm me into paying for something I never agreed toIt's clear these guys use this tactic all the time which is a deceptive, disgusting, and unethical practice After a bit of discussion, he said he would take $which I finally agreed to pay just to get these guys off my property

Dishonest company and poor work leaving family in danger when they claim all the bees were dead Removed the wall and found 1000's of bee alive and well!!! Called the company back several times and they just hang up on you! Poked several holes in the wall and claims to have use spray but did not find anything but live bees to our surprise Do not use this company!!!!

We called this business late on a Thursday because we noticed a bee problem under the eves of our roofTheir Web site states, "BEE REMOVAL IS OUR SPECIALTY"They sent a man out who fogged under the eves and charged us $The next day the bees were back and there were more of themTheir Web site contains an audio recording which states that they are available hrsCalling the number on the invoice got us a recordingCalling the number on the Web site that I had previously called to schedule service got an answer and the individual that answered said, "Let me give you the office number." The number he gave us was the number that got us the recordingWhen I told him that he said, "That's because we're closed." So, in addition to not rendering the service they advertise as their specialty, they're also really *not [redacted] available hoursA $mistake on our part

I was on vacation and my brother was taking care of the house He informed me that we had a bee issue in the back yard The bees could not have been there more than two days He called Mountain view pest control out to access situation They told him it was going to be $to remove bees He called me when they were on site and I told him $595,was way to much and to hold off He went outside to inform them to stop work but he had already given them his credit card and they were half way through work so it was too late They were on site for less than minutesWhen I returned I from vacation I called Mountain View to try to get some resolution with no success

This customer called me and I made an offer to refund him $100, as a courtesyHe demanded $200, which I will not do, he seems to be unreasonable, and I question the "Alzheimers" of his mother, if she has the mental awareness of a year old, why is she allowed to live on her own, since she
could easily get hurt, but that is his mother, and his businessBut don't say that we prey on people, she called, was told three times the price, agreed, signed, and we did the serviceIf he wants to try to "void" the contract, lets go to small claims court and have a judge decide, Im up for that

This is the beekeeper equivalent of a high schooler with a pressure washer coming to clean the exterior of your house$FOR LESS THAN MINUTES OF WORKIf I could give negative stars I wouldDO NOT USETerrible work - the bees are still hereTried to upsell with "we have to take down the wall because there are honeycombs"REALLY? How do you know"Well they just act differently"
Had to call another beekeeper, who was much more professionalDid a good job, and used a scope inside the wall - NO HONEYCOMBS!
Don't even let these jokers on your propertyTheir rate is $2975/hr and they do terrible workNo guarantees, no explanation, no quoteJust start working and drop the bomb after they've started

I have a reoccurring issue with bees swarming at locations at my house in San Tan Valley so I called MT View pest control out to exterminate I was in a pinch and needed service same day due to our work schedules They were the first to respond so I did not get estimates in advance They told me initially it would be $400-$per locationThey then reduced it to a $total I agreed to the price and he began to spray the areas
He then told me they would charge me a total of $for the roof to be removed from the locations and the honey to be removedThey were also not able to put the roof back together and would have to get a contractor to do this at an additional cost I said I would pass on this and get estimatesThey soon called me back and offered to do it same day for a discount of $ I told them yes and the quickly arrived back In that time I had a chance to check their Revdex.com history to find they were not accredited and had several complaints against them already
Upon their arrival they wanted payment in advance I said no as they were not accredited with the Revdex.com as it was He then lied to me stating that they were I offered to show him the website and he declined I then called "The Bee Hive" and was quoted almost half for the extermination and quoted almost half for the honey removal and they do put the roof back as it was with a year guarantee
At least it was only a $error on my part rather than a $ I will always check with the Revdex.com in the future before calling a company to potentially rip me off

I was quoted $150-$over the phone to remove a bee hive from a tree When the technician got there he quoted me $because it was so "big" I told him what I was quoted over the phone and he said he could not go under $ I said I was quoted by other companies as low as $and did not want to pay over $ He told me he drove miles to get there and called me an "***" as he walked away I will never use this company again

DO NOT USE MOUNTAIN VIEW PEST CONTROL...Same experience as the rest of the people commenting, just wish I would have done a little more research before selecting themI called mountain view to come out and remove a bee hive in my backyard under a wooden deckThey were very prompt in coming out, I'll give them thatThey looked at the situation and said they would take care of it hurriedlyWhile they were walking back to put their suits on I asked them the cost, the man quickly said $and continued walkingI thought the price seemed high at the timeI figured they were a reputable company, and why would a reputable company fleece it's customersI later came to find out it should of cost about half that priceWhen I sent an email to the owner *** *** he actually agreed I paid more than I should ofHis response was "well you agreed to it"If you Google them you will see a long list of complaints against themThere are many other reputable pest control companies in the Phoenix areaDon't use Mountain View Pest Control

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in
reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I was not told that the cancellation fee would be $125, the service guy lied to me that he was going to do the service I signed the paper before he started the job and then I went back inside the house to speak to my landlord to confirm what he said, next thing I do is step back outside and he's driving offThat was my mistake I trusted him that he would do the job to spray the area and he didn't he drove offHe lied and told me that my landlord was going to just let him spray the bee area on the roof. Here is the attached paper I signedI have my family as a witness and my neighbor who saw him drive off
Regards,

We came out to this home and treated a huge africanized bee swarm, also scraping down pounds of honeycombThe customer states that the other company says there was no honeycomb,(THATS BECAUSE WE TOOK IT DOWN), eve though they say there was a little wax left, left over after we took honeycomb
downWhen the customer called to say bees were in the front of the home, we went back, he than stated to us the next day he had one , ONE, bee in his home, when we offered to go back, he says no I called someone elseThat is not my problem that he called someone else, we were willing to go back, this is not a valid complaint as we did the job, went back once, and wanted to go back the second time. Please remove complaint

I am shocked that these people put a complaint in with the Revdex.comI talked to the husband on the phone, gave him a discount and he told us to proceed with the work, thanked me for giving him $off, and I even said to him three times, "we dont have to remove the honeycomb, you can leave it or try
and get someone else", to which he said "no, we need to do it"What absolute nerve to put in a complaint after we talked on the phone, we did the work at the agreed price, I have a signed invoice and will not refund anything, and would expect them, if they are decent people to withdraw the complaint, all I can say is this is unreal, I guess there are people out there who expect hard working people to give their work away for almost nothingI will make a one consideration, let the husband I talked to , put on a bee suit and go with my guys to a honey removal job, help them exterminate the bees and dig the honeycomb out of the roof, if he does that Ill pay him $

Overpriced and outclassed by far superior companies who offer better services at a better price We were quoted $150-over the phone which was in line with an A+ rated firm that we actually used previously, but, we decided to proceed with Mountain View before checking their rating Upon arrival, the technician was not dressed very professionally (he looked like he had come from the gym) and my gut reaction was to send him home The technician reviewed the location of the bees and then increased the estimate to $for treatment allegedly due to the location of the bees We uncomfortably agree and treatment was performed The technician did seem knowledgable and was good in how he handled our challenges to him regarding the Revdex.com rating after we learned about it while he was there His response indicated that pricing was the big issue because bee removal is an expensive industry While he is correct that it is an expensive and unlucky thing to deal with, we solicited a second opinion from an A+ rated company whose fee for the same service would have been a flat $vsthe price gouge increase from Mountain View The A+ rated company did a far superior review of our issue, noted that their fee would have included more chemicals to ensure eradication and provided a lower estimate for honeycomb removal ($vsthe $estimate from Mountain View) Based upon the fact that the other firm took much more time and had far better equipment to confirm where the honeycomb was in our home, the difference between A+ and F rating was obvious

As I have stated, we have a signed invoice for the amount agreed upon that we have submittedThe signature is the owner authorizing us to do the work at the agreed price, there will be no refund, and as I stated in my first response I would like to see the Revdex.com end this complaint, my signed invoice is proof that we did a job at the agreed on pricem\, this customer is not unhappy with the "bee removal", he is unhappy with the price

Price structure way out of line with other companies, will never use again. 395 to come out and spray additional 600 to remove a very small hive. Bees had only been here for three days. Acted like you didn't have an option on removing hive or not and they left a hole in the drywall. Offered to have someone else come out and fix it for 400 more dollars. Get your cost estimates up front. Terrible company!!!!

Horrible!!!!!! Do Not call this company. They lied and said that it would be a maximum of $200 to remove a killer bee hive under my house. Then when they came out they said $500.00 because they were aggressive bees. Which they already were told before coming out. Then they said it would kill any and all pets inside and outside of the home They wanted to spray poison under the house which would kill my outside cat! When I called the company number, the man started screaming at me demanding a $100.00 "house" call and threatened to take me to court if I didn't pay. They NEVER said there would be a $100 fee for just coming to the house. I never let them do anything, just told them to leave.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the...

business in reference to complaint ID [redacted].  The company did in fact, FINALLY agree to send out a team to review the situation. Although I do not believe they had the right to charge me the original cost ($395.00) for two minutes of spraying the area, I understand that I paid them, and stupidly signed the form that they gave me afterward, releasing them, possibly, from legal repercussions. I had not been quoted any price before the team came to my house, nor was I informed that there would be a trip fee. I could not get a quote from the office as they rarely answer the phone and because the field staff did not seem quick to ask me about what I required them for before coming, I assumed I would have adequate time to cooperatively examine my options with the field staff. I still believe that their business practices are despicable, and as their customer complaints, as I have since found on the [redacted], are widespread and so similarly intensely dissatisfied with the difficulties, it seems that some action should be taken against them by someone that can. The business came and placed strips under rocks which should (supposedly) diffuse the bee's pheromone trail.  I am no etymologist, but my father was and I have had enough background in biology to know that anything placed under a rock does not diffuse very well.  I spoke to a bee keeper that I had contacted before Mountain View Pest Control finally agreed to send out a team and he confirmed that the strips they had placed would do nothing to solve my problem with the bees returning, and it was ridiculous for them to suggest that it would. $395 dollars later I am having to buy strong plants oils to apply around the pool, along with spraying clorox directly over the area to hopefully allow my toddlers to swim in the pool without being stung. I have no further desire to deal with this company and as such, I am "accepting the business' response" because I do not think they have any better ideas.  However, I am not feeling appeased and I shall never lose my distaste for a company with such unethical business practices. Hopefully, this will teach me to never hire a company simply because they have made use of a great marketing company.
