They claim you can get a membership for $a month for Unlimited movies Then they put in the fine print that "unlimited" really means one movie per 24-hour period I was fine this until they emailed me forcing me out of that plan that I had already agreed to and told me I could pay $a month for unlimited movies or $a month for a max of movies per month They tried to force me into paying more than triple the previously agreed upon amount Whenever I asked them why this was, they claimed that it was due to my high account activity and that I had seen seven movies in a month period so now I would need to pay more What happened to "unlimited" movies? What happened to "a movie every hours" A complete scam! Be warned!!!

I received my movie pass card 2 days ago, I followed the instructions to activate but it keeps telling me to wait for my card to arrive in the mail which doesn't make sense since I have my card already. I called customer service and the rep advised me they cant activate cards or assist me with activating over the phone, which left me speechless. What's the point of even having a customer service department if the can't do something as simple as activate a card. Both the rep and her supervisor told me they have to escalate it to another department without even attempting to see what the issue was or if they could resolve it, once I mentioned activation they said they can't handle it, so they submitted the ticket for me to be contacted within 24-48 hours.
Here I am 48 hours later and still no reply, so I called them back and what do you know, another rep telling me he has to submit another ticket. Its almost comical, I've been passed the anger stage so all I can do is laugh. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I wonder if I should just ask for a refund now because if I have a problem down the road I already know what to expect.

MoviePass has a good opportunity to keep people going to the movies at a discounted rate- UNFORTUNATELY they cannot seem to get things corrected. Along with the poor app there is very little support or reaction to a very serious problem. A common problem is that the all-access plan movies do not show leaving the person to phone or start a text conversation with g-d knows who to resolve the check-in. That resolution is very cumbersome and nerve-racking. In fact, on 2 occasions it could not be resolved in time for the film to start so we needed to purchase a ticket which they will not reimburse. All for now - What a PITA!

I downloaded the MoviePass app onto my phone with the intention of taking advantage of a free two-week trial I heard aboutI clicked on the prominently displayed "Start Week Free Trial" button on the app's home page to sign upI then waited several days for my MoviePass card to arrive in the mail (longer than the promised 5-day wait period, even though I live in New York City, the same city the company is based in)Once I received the card, I had trouble logging back into the app, so I conducted a live chat with a MoviePass rep on the company's websiteOnce the issue was resolved, I asked for him to confirm that my free two-week trial would begin that day (the company's messaging said the trial wouldn't begin until I received the card)The rep then informed me that the company no longer offers a free two-week trial of its serviceI told him that was the reason I signed up and that the app still very prominently features the "Start Week Free Trial" messaging on the home pageHe said the app is going to be updated, but they no longer offer that trial; what more, MoviePass had already charged me $for my first month of service without my authorization! The fee was charged on January **, 2016, but I didn't receive the card in the mail until January **You can't use the service without the cardSo not only was MoviePass reneging on its promised free two-week trial (which is illegal since the app clearly promotes it), but it charged me for a service it wasn't even providing me for days! MoviePass promised to cancel my membership and refund me the $Still, their practice is illegal and others should know about it

My account was suspended because I had an iPhone which was no longer compatible with their app/service. I purchased a
new phone and was given an unlimited plan for $44.99. But I have had nothing but problems since then. The first time I tried to use the new plan, my card did not work. So I had to wait for a new card and during that time I had to purchase movie tickets on my own and submit them for reimbursement. I received new cards and had to call to determine which one was correct. Then the service worked. Last night I tried to use it and the app said my card is not valid. I called customer service, they told me they fixed the problem, yet my card still did not work. Now again I have to purchase tickets and submit them for refund while I wait for a new card. I am left to wonder if this is incompetence or a deliberate attempt to discourage me from using their service

10pt;" class="MsoNormal">I did get an email after I sent them several telling me that my options were what they had originally emailed meI feel they are underhanded and they did a disservice to many people who have accounts I think it is unfair how the still advertise 30.00/month unlimitedadvertising is a terrible way to lure people in!
