I’ve been holding off writing this review for some time but things have just gone far enough where I can no longer hold backI started the process to get solar panels back in September I met with representatives from four different companies and finally decided to go with My SmartHouseThey were not the cheapest but I like the fact that it was a veteran owned company and they were making products that were built in the USAMy sales consultant was Gary and he did a great job of explaining everything and making sure My wife and I felt comfortableAfter I signed the contract towards the end of September everything was going pretty smoothly and I had my solar panels installed on November 21, It is now January 16, and I still do not have working solar panelsI was told that when installing my solar panels they would also install an new and upgraded electrical panelWhen the installation took place they did not install the upgraded electrical panelThey told me that I did not need to install the upgraded electrical panel and they would petition to Edison to not have it installedTo me I felt as if they were just trying to be cheap and not install the upgraded electrical panelAfter going back and forth with Edison the electrical panel that My SmartHouse was trying to get out of installing still is required and needs to be installedNow two months since installation of the solar panels I still don’t have the upgraded electrical panel installed and do not have working solar panelsAlso, there must be a revolving door there because I have been assigned 4-different representatives to my project because the representative with keep quitting or getting firedIt is so frustrating to have to re-explain myself and my situation every time a new person comes in and gets assigned to my projectThe only explanation I have received from My SmartHouse is that they are waiting on Southern California EdisonIt seems to me that they are just passing the blame onWhy wasn’t this all figured out to prior to installing my panels back in November?!? To make matters worse my loan payments for the solar panels started in November so now I have been making double the paymentsI have to still pay SCE for my monthly electrical bill as well as pay for these panels that do not work!!! My SmartHouse did reimburse me for one of the electrical bills from SCE but this could have been all avoided if they just installed the new electrical panel in the beginning like they said they were going to do instead of trying to cut cornersThey promised me a Nest thermostat and a $back to me for coming on board with themBoth of those promises still not have been delivered upon and I am told that they will happen when my solar panels are up and operationalThe Nest Thermostat and $is not worth the headache that I have gone through to get these solar panelsIf I could go back I would NOT go with My SmartHouse and have chosen a different solar providerI will update my review when/if my solar panels ever get up and runningI have not been given an estimated time frame for when things will be completedI’m basically just waiting with no idea of when things will wrap up

Our experience with My Smart House has been a very pleasant one. From our first meeting with our salesman, Chris and through every step of the various stages of installation and follow up. The crew that prepared the roof was fast and tidy. Solar installers were polite, clean and informative. Contact follow up was excellent. Our coordinator, Lauren, was so helpful in helping us to understand the flow of work. And, the installer of the ring and the nest, Austin, was fast and clear as to function. And the bonus was he was so friendly and helpful.

Every part of the process was extremely smoothI was constantly kept informed and it was completed very fastFrom the beginning of the process with Amiee, to the install with Lauren and finally the perk installation with Austin the entire experience was greatThank you My Smart House!!!!

My solar contract stipulates that I would receive specific incentives, to include 1) Nest Doorbell, 2) security cameras, and 3) Nest thermostat, as well as the installation for each of these devicesTo date, I have only received the Nest doorbellPrior to receiving the security cameras, I contacted My Smart House to inquire if I could upgrade the cameras from a wireless to a hard-wired systemThey agreed under the condition that I would have to pay the differenceI paid the difference ($350), but when it came to the installation day, they informed me that they were not capable of installing a hard-wired systemIt has been nearly two weeks since they were unable to install the system and I have yet to hear back from My Smart House

Erica and Austin from my smart house were excellent with our solar system installation.Came through with ring and smart lock as promised!Would do it again.

My wife and I have been looking at getting solar panels for about yearsEvery previous salesperson that came to our house for solar wanted us to give them money up front which made us doubtfulThen we found My Smart House, and our views changedThey showed use where we could save moneyRequested no money up front and worked with us step by step to get our panels installed so we can save moneyThe process was fast and easyOnce everything was approved it took the workers hours to install the panels, which were top of the lineThey even gave us the Nest and a Quiet Cooling system to help us save energy cost down the roadEveryone at My Smart House was friendly and professionalThey kept us informed all the way through the process and answered any questions we had promptlyWe highly recommend their service

Terrible CompanyThey have called my phone asking me if I am interested in solar after I have told them I am not interestedThey call twice a week for the last monthsBunch of snakes working there

My Smart House delivered with each expectation they laid out for me when I signed upThe timeline, appointments, installation was meet as promisedThe installation of emt, box, and the coring was clean, satisfied with the craftsmanshipI would recommend them to family and friends if they are considering solar energy

It's very interesting to me that after 11/15/2017, there are no positive reviews Must be why my installation is going south already with the installation day before yesterday Everything looked good while they were installing Great guys, friendly and worked hard Only problem is I can't get the cover to my breaker box open because the electrician install a conduit junction box too close to the breaker box I called Solcius yesterday, and they sent me an email with pics and asked that I send them pics back showing the deficiency (what! you don't believe me!?) I had to tell them today on the phone if they don't get somebody out here by noon tomorrow, poor reviews will go up on every website I can find!
My Smart House is just a reseller I emailed my sales rep and customer service rep yesterday morning about next steps and whether or not my patio type cover over my pool pump house would be put in or not as agreed to; silence all day I had to call and was treated like "why are you so upset?!" I'm going to be watching both companies If the service improves, I'll upgrade this ratingIf companies in this country or state want to be successful, communication is key Keep your customers informed Here's a guiding principle: "communicate with your customers, or they will make it up!" You don't want that

Very happy with are solar panels and the people that worked with us

This company is very shadyThey had a nice sales pitch when in person but soon after, the plans will quickly change to something totally differentI made the mistake of signing a contract and soon after, our representative Amanda was no where to be found when I had questions and issuesI was also contacted by Edward informing me that they cannot deliver on what was originally agreed and signed for, he sent over two different proposals and I never heard from him again, nor was I able to contact him againI wanted to deny the proposals because it was not going to produce enough energy to meet our needs but then I started receiving emails from Solcius regarding the plans and permitI tried to call Solcius to figure out what is going on, they referred me back to My Smart HouseAfter tons of frustration I decided to cancel and went with a great company, "Baker Electrical Solar" who was held up because they weren't able to pull a permitTurns out Solcius was holding the permit and would not release it unless I pay a cancellation feeAfter a lot of back and forth, I gave up and paid the feeAgain, VERY SHADY COMPANY!!!

My husband had a sales person from this company come to our house and we listened to the speechHe did not qualify for the solar panels and we told them repeatedly by phone we were not interestedThey keep calling and I have hung up on them after I told them to lose the numberNow they are coming to the houseWe are not interested and would very much appreciate you company and sales people to stop calling and to stop coming to our houseIf it happens again, then I will be filing a formal complaintNo means no and stop means stop

I have had good luck with My Smart House for lining up my Solar Panel Installation, etcI believe it might be that my rep is the best! Aimee made sure I had all the info and answered all of my questions immediately, whenever I texted for helpI am very satisfied with the service I received and am glad they came to my door
