Like every other thing there is this concept works great as long as you make sure to use itI have found that the staff at MSC really does know what they're doing in terms of community engagementsI have received replies back to my emails for event suggestions as late (or as early) as 3:30amThey want to make sure you receive the full benefit of what they offerThe events are really uniqueDo not expect to be attending things that you can simply find on Groupon all of the timeLast year I tried a Fire Eating Workshop as well as a Stunt ClassThose are two things I would have never set up for myself being a busy professionalThere are other events for the less adventurous tooI have connected with a bunch of folks for networking purposes and their claims that members are single and stay open to dating have proven true in my case, so I would therefore recommend My Social Calendar to friends an colleagues

On August 2, 2016, I called My Social Calendar after having hear advertisements for their services on the radio It is a social networking service that plans events for single people in different areas throughout the East Coast I called and had an extensive (minute) interview and was very interested in their service I agreed to join and charged $to my credit card The contract said that I had hours to change my mind and be refunded the entire $ Since I work full time and go to graduate school, I realized I would not have enough time to utilize their service I sent a certified letter stating that I changed my mind and requested a refund (as per directions on their contract) The letter was post marked on August 5th (within the hour window) I followed the instructions listed on the contact exactly as they were written

I am rejecting this response because: The organization's website (http://mysocialcalendar.com/locations/) does not provide individual contact information for each of the business's locationThere are three toll-free numbers provided on the site, which cover all of the organization's locationsIf the different locations are independently owned, then why are there common toll-free numbers and no individual contact addresses/individuals provided on the organization's website? The main corporate office should have some oversight of the different locations.I have sent a separate email to the email address provided by the respondent and have also filed a separate complaint with the New Jersey Board of Consumer AffairsIf it is necessary for the Revdex.com to transfer the complaint to the Manhattan office, I ask that this be done

They closed the local chapter of My Social Calendar where I was a member without any noticeI want a refund of my membership dues

This place is a rip off and a scam and does not get back to you! The phone doesn't even work!
They sent me a "final" notice saying they were going to send me to collections for an amount that does not even make senseThey never sent me an email before this so I don't know how It is finalI tried calling and only get an answering machine and no one will get back to meI have been fighting with them since almost done one and they are ridiculous

I paid $for a three year membership in February and $for my son's membership in December As of April 2018, there have been no activities and I am not getting the services which I paid for

My personal account of my experience with this company has truly been nothing but positiveI joined in the Boston location in mid-August and was concerned about price vsvalue, as I am a single Dad with primary custodyUltimately I made the decision to join as an outlet to have something planned and organized for those rare days when I found myself with nothing to doLike many of us, I used to be extremely active, but between work (I manage a Hospital) and my son, life leaves little time for socializing or finding someone to date AKA "adult time." I know many are keen on social media and online dating nowadays, but I prefer to see how someone interacts in a social setting so this approach has been working wellI have attended several events, some small, some large, but I have to say that the staff I worked with made this experience worth every pennyI joined with Katy and there has not been one question left unanswered thusfarI would recommend to anyone joining to utilize the concierge service provided to the fullest by asking for personalized suggestions each month instead of picking at random Overall, A+

I signed up for My Social Calendar December 7th, I paid $by credit card over the phoneI decided I did not want to spend the money and had no time to participate in the servicesThe associate Jase promised me my money back in to weeksI have made several calls a week for the past month and have not heard back

My Social Calendar was a thorough and huge disappointment. The marketing was heavily misrepresented, especially by the radio, phone interview, and in person interview. I was led to believe that his group was more exclusive and for young professionals in the DC area; however, the people in this group has a wide range of ages, most of them being significantly older than me, and I have been harassed by men who are in their 60s. I am not ready to hang out with people in their 50s and 60s. In addition, I was also told that there are background checks done on members but I have learned that some members have previous jail time or are mentally unstable. These are not the young professionals I was hoping to meet. I was hoping to meet people my age or that shared similar interest, but I have been unsuccessful due to the above. Also, not many people show up to the events and they lock you into a CONTRACT. This should be a red flag to anyone.

The group is very highly priced and it also had a monthly charge. The pricing changed right after I joined to a significantly less amount. I tried to get feedback and refunded so that I could leave the group after only being a member for less than two months, but customer service is NONEXISTANT. it is nearly impossible to get in contact with anyone.

The events they choose are good but half seem to get canceled. Interesting concept but nowhere near worth cost investment. Hopefully this will help someone not make the same mistake. This is one of my biggest financial regrets. Do not join this group.

I am sorry you are upset but Manhattan, Boston and South Florida are all owned by the same person and there phone number is all the same ###-###-####. I have no access to the Manhattan members or there calendar. The mysocialcalendar website is owned by a company called [redacted] and we all pay a fee to use the website.
