We are in receipt of your complaint and will be reaching out immediately to our customer. Please know that we certainly understand how frustrating it can be when a problem is intermittent and makes diagnosing the problem hard. We are more than happy to keep the vehicle again to see if we can get the problem to show itself while we have it so that we can fix it.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Ultimately I won't be satisfied until the problem is fixed not only is the car dangerous to drive the feeling that I leased a brand new car with only 16 miles I'm unhappy I'm having more problems that no one seems to want to address the dealership is a hassle itself honestly this was the worst decision I've ever made and the worst experience of my life.leasing a car shouldn't be this stressful I'm payin for something that has a dangerous defect and no one is listening

Nalley Kia Response • Apr 18, 2018

Your safety is our top concern. If you feel the vehicle is unsafe, we would be happy to provide a loaner vehicle while we test the vehicle again to see if the problem will present itself. Please reach out to us to arrange us to diagnosis the vehicle. We are happy to help.

I took my car to have the oil changed and the tires rotated on 02/03/2018 in the process of this dealership rotating my tires they broke a bolt on the tire, then quoted me a price of 477.00 to fix it. How am I responsible for paying for this when they broke it. it was not broken when I brought my car in to be serviced. I was told that when I purchased new tires that the people who put my tires on put it back on to tight therefore they are not responsible for the bolt being broken. They refused to fix it sent me out the door to the place I purchased my tires from. I had to spend almost 500.00 miss 2 days of work and Kia broke the bolt on my tire. This is not right and I need some help with this matter. I was no way responsible for the damage to my vechile *** was so how am I made to be responsible for the repair. I did not go in for a repair of anything, I took my car to have the tires balanced and rotated and ended up in the end having to pay almost 500.00 this is not right on any level.

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like for Kia to pay me back the money I had to spend getting my car repaired due to them breaking the bolt on my tire. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation and had to pay to have another company fix my car that Kia damaged. I had to have my hub bearing, parking brake shoe, wheel nut, parking brake, remove and replace wheel bearing rear, remove and replace parking brake all repaired when I went in for a simple oil change and tire rotation.

Thank you for the opportunity to look into this situation. First let me apologize on behalf of Asbury Automotive Group for your experience with our Nalley Kia dealership. While we certainly understand how frustrating this situation is, and we did not do a good job of communicating to you what caused the damage. On occasion when tires are installed, the person (in this case not an Asbury company) who installs the lug nuts on the vehicle over tightens the bolt causing the threads to strip. So the only way to ever remove that tire again is to have the bolt broken. Had the customer had a flat on the side of the road the same thing would have occurred because the stripped bolt would have had to be broken to remove it. The cause of the damage was a result of the over tightening of the bolt by the tire shop.

So ultimately, in order to do the tire rotation you had requested, this bolt had to be broken off. Had the bolt not been over tightened by the tire company this would not have been the case.

The customer should be reaching out to the tire company who over tightened the bolt causing it to strip. We offered to repair the bolt at our cost without labor as a goodwill gesture however, the customer declined our offer. We also offered to goodwill credit upcoming service as a gesture of goodwill but that was declined as well.

I gave John N the info: 2017 loaded Sedona I wanted and asked he get the vehicle ready for test drive and sale. No2017 for me to test drive. Only 2016. Said No to zero finance, no to $1k rebate no to hitch and cross bars. Low ball on 2015 Kia trade. He had no vehicle ready and I spent 8+ hours on the transaction. I verified via Kia that they cheated me and Farrook, the GM got ugly. So did I. Farooq the crook and sorry leader of any, actually chased me outside and was 4 inches from my ear as I frantically wheeled my chair outside. They refuse my calls and hang up. Go to Bulldog Kia in Athens or anywhere but here! I am pursuing an exec customers svc compliant. Worst experience ever on a $50k purchase. Run don't walk away from this devil house! This dbl amputee can not walk but rolls pretty fast! Love the Loa, hate the devil dealer, all dressed in black, no name tag. Looks like he works for Puma not Kia. Hey Kia, flush this turd!?
