Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The dealer claims the vehicle no longer needs serviceThis dealer repaired the vehicle for the same issue recently and has since broken down miles from homeThey have been courteous, but have insistently pressed me to drop my complaint BEFORE repairs are completedI realize they are sales oriented at heart, but I will continue to bring attention to this matter in additional forums if needed until it's resolvedI'd be willing to listen to ANY independent arbritrators opinion as to whether or not might complaint has merit.
Sincerely,

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2014/08/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
the I owe from the dealer has no set amount nor was one discussed on Friday attached is the I owe you from the deaLER AND THE RECEIP FOR PAID REPAIRS, I FEEL I SHOULD GET THE TOTAL AMOUNT I PAID FOR THE REPAIRSAND NOT JUST $

New management/ownership is awful and liars!
I went in to purchase my third Jeep in less than a year and they lost my businessNapletons lied about rebatesFirst they said they did not existI pointed them out on the Jeep website and then they changed their story to "you aren't eligible, those are for military members." I called a Jeep dealer down the street which informed me that was not trueI then called the corporate office to confirm which they didNapletons then said they could do one of the rebates but not the otherI told them that it was not a military rebate and they still arguedThey were trying to play the numbers hiding the rebates/overchargingNapletons tried to only taking a few bucks off the sticker priceA manager then stated that if I financed through them they could take a bit more off, but couldn't go a penny lessThe vehicle was listed on their website for $less than their "very best price" in personAnother lie and scamTHEY WILL NOT HONOR THE ONLINE PRICES!
When I purchased my last Jeep a few months ago the salesman, sales manager, finance manager, and multiple other managers told me that If I gave them perfect reviews on the NEW VEHICLE PURCHASE SURVEY that corporate sends out Napletons would give me a coupon for $off my next vehicle purchaseThey did not deserve perfect ratings but a $coupon swayed me to obligeThe only stipulation on the coupon was "This coupon has no expiration date." NO OTHER STIPULATIONSI went in to purchase my third jeep and they refused the coupon:
First Excuse: This coupon cannot be combined with any other offers including rebates
Second Excuse: We gave you a good deal on your last car we can't do another "Stink deal" you are ripping us off(Blame the customer for YOUR coupon)
Third Excuse: We can't honor the coupon on this vehicle but can if you choose another vehicleHowever, every vehicle I chose they would find another excuseFourth Excuse: The coupon was a misprint and is invalidFifth Excuse: The coupon is only valid if you have a trade inI dealt with multiple managers and eventually Jody *** the owner and his brother Doug ***Both of which kept changing their stories, not backing up their promises, and jerked around about vehicle prices and the couponThey do not honor their own website prices, their coupons, corporate rebates, or their customers

Ms*** is not a customer of this dealership Any concerns related to a deal finalized by her husband, *** ***, and this dealership have been resolved to his full satisfaction

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/04/13) */
Ms***'s issue has been resolved at this time

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: a customer is defined by
dictionary.com as "apersonwhopurchasesgoodsorservices fromanother;buyer;patron." As the payments for the vehicle come from my bank account, I am therefore a buyer and patron of Napleton'sAdditionally, this issue has not been resolved to neither my, nor my husband's satisfactionagain, this dealership is trying to sweep this issue under the rug and write it off as resolved when both legitimate customers in this situation are well beyond displeased.
Sincerely,
*** ***

The customer has been in communication with the service managerHis car requires multiple repairs in order to try to rectify his issuesOn his last visit, he approved repair but declined the 2nd repairWe would be willing to work
on a discount if price is what is stopping the customer from approving this repair
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/02/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The service manager promised to call me back buthe never didThe repair that he quoted me accoeding to him is not a guarantee of fixing the problem, so what is the point of having repair if it is not going to fix the issue.I would take a "refund"
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/02/25) */
The customer was explained why and what was being done to his vehicleThe service work that was paid for was performedWe understand the customer has taken his vehicle elsewhere for service at this time
Thank you

With this review I am not trying to profit or get something out of Napleton Dealership in Arlington Heights but for the customers that are shopping for a car I want to explain to you guys the worst experience I have had with not just a car dealership but with any place that I have bought somethingThis Dealership and company is dangerous and very manipulative and are all about ripping customers offI was shopping around for a used carMy preference was a *** *** make and modelAs I was searching for the perfect car that fit me, I saw that Napleton in Arlington Heights had a *** *** ***I decided to check out the reviews that people had left for this dealershipAs I checked out their website reviews there were some good reviews*** reviews were so so because they have a rating of But I never checked the Revdex.com reviews before purchasing the car because if I would have, I would have noticed that there was negative reviews in Revdex.comThe car was listed online for $but when I went in and spoke to MrIrving *** (one of the worst salesman ever) he decided to raise the price up to $10,and his reasoning was because I didnt have any creditMind you I test drove the car and the car was cold because it had not been turned on for while Again we are talking about a *** *** C4Matic with 102,000+ milesAfter going back and forth with Irvin about price being ridiculous Mr.Irving *** statement was its about being a want not a needSo his idea of selling a car was being rude with his smart comments because he was telling me when you buy a car its about a want not a needI told him thank you I know its a want not a need because if I needed a car I wouldnt look at *** but get something that will drive me from A to BSo since MrIrving *** didnt want to work things out I decided to leaveAs I was walking out Irving *** walked in the Managers or finance guys office MrRay *** and said hold onBECAUSE I DIDNT HAVE THE CREDIT THEY TRIED TO RAISE THE PRICE TO MAKE AN EXTRA $AND USED THE EXCUSE THAT ITS BECAUSE OF NO CREDIT AND THE BANK WILL FINANCE FOR THAT MUCHSo my payments were going to be about $a monthSo as I was about to walk the Finance manager came out MrRay *** and said "hey where does the problem stand"? On June 27th, the day her contract was funded, we cut a check for the payoff and mailed it that day to the bankNow that the holiday weekend is over, we should be able to see if the check cleared our bank in the next day or

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have confirmed with my bank on 6/9/that the loan on the Ford is STILL AN OPEN LOANThis dealership has had possession of the vehicle since JUNE 7, THIRTY-TWO DAYS and still the loan is NOT paid offWhy did the dealership wait until 6/27/to "mail" a check to payoff the bank? Twenty days after they took possession of my trade? During the time they have had possession of the Ford, I have had to make the June car payment and soon I will be required to make the July car paymentDoes the Revdex.com actually think that sounds like a reasonable business deal?
Final Business Response /* (4000, 12, 2014/07/16) */
Our finance director has been communicating with Ms***She will receive any payments that were deducted from her account from her bankShe does need to be sure to contact them to cancel that deduction on the vehicle she traded inShe will also receive an additional payment from us in the form of a check for all of the inconvenience she experienced at our dealership

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2014/09/29) */
Mr*** purchased a new vehicle from our store on 7/31/In the state of Illinois there is no cooling off periodAt this time, we do not owe the customer anything

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I was told by ***, the GM that my deal wasn't about the money, well if that was truly the case, why did he personally setup the deal so that I would be stuck paying so much to get my trade in back? The price I paid for the Durango vsthe price they sold the Durango for after I "traded" it in should be the most I should have to pay, but instead I'm paying double that price*** says it's not about the money, but they sure did make a lot of it off this dealIn the end, they made more money off this "deal" than they would have if they sold the Durango as new
Works out great for them, screws everyone else
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 14, 2014/10/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Their response doesn't fix anything
The fact remains, the dealership screwed me over and made more money off the car than if they would have sold it as new
Bad business, is bad businessThis is proof of that

Our answer remains the same

Eric *** is the worst service consultant that works thereNever offered me a shuttle bus or a loaner and told me my car would be ready by 3pmWhen I arrived to pick my car they haven't even started on it and I had dropped off my car at 8amEric *** had a careless attitude blamed other people for his mistakesHe was very unprofessionalWhen I told him I was going to make a complaint he said he didn't careJust want the owners of this dealer to know what type of people work for them

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2015/02/10) */
The customer has spoken with our GMThey discussed the taxes and gave the customer a credit

I purchased a used Jeep from Napletons on a Saturday and while driving miles home experianced an issue with the car shaking and imediately called the service department for a Monday appointmentAfter looking at my car they could not find anything wrong with it and said I was ok to driveA week later I still experianced the same issue but took it to a closer dealer in which they found $of work that needed to be done and it has worked ever sinceNapleton offered to reimburse me a $but phone calls with promises and months later, no checkI will never recommend buying car here to anyonePoor service all around

I love my car ! It's my first car , a *** *** ! My dad speaks Spanish and little English and Ofcourse I knew nothing about purchasing a car Q helped us out Totally tricked us into getting a warranty after asking many times if it was a warranty to begin with , they said no it's not Even called a financial advisor so reassure us So angry!!! I put in a cancellation request on 10/, days later sent an email out after calling the dealer and no answer Got a reply right away saying that the warranty cancelation was then being processed to find out that it hasn't been sent out!! I called where I have my warranty and the So upset ! It has already been more than a month So sad that they lied to us to begin with after asking many times

The dealer was ***, lied to us and wouldn't respect the price the car was offered for on the websiteHe was trying to charge us $more than they advertised without him adding anything or doing anything to the carI found a deal on ***.com for a per-owned toyota camry for $at napleton's arlington heights chrysler dodgewe went to the showroom in the eveing, and the car they brought up front was filthy, had garbage and papers all over the carwe asked the salesperson to at least have it cleaned so that we could take the car for a test drive, which they did but didn't even vacuumThe test drive was okWhen we got back to the dealership, the salesperson asked us what our ethnicity was, and started being rude to usThe car had scratches on the side (which they didn't mention in their ad) and a hole in the rear bumperWith all these things that were wrong, the dealer increased the price and stated that the sale price listed on the website is wrong and he will sell it for without fixing anything or even vacuuming and washing the car

Mr*** is free to have his vehicle serviced at any Dodge dealership, especially if it is for work covered by the manufacturer warranty However, just as Dodge customer service told him, we would have to see the vehicle to do any further work on our end We have been following the
manufacturers process on the vehicle
