This "story" has become more and more fabricated as time goes on(ALMOST Months now) I presented to your establishment with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Odometer and damage disclosure statement indicating that the new dealership was the new owner of the HyundaiThis statement was written on April **, The proof of payoff was evidentAt which time, your finance person stated the refund would be given to me by the dealership whom now owned the carAfter investigating the process and as stated on my cancellation request form, word for word-"Regarding any cancellation refund that may be owed to you, contact the finance department at the dealership in which you purchased the car" I did what was written only to be given the run around.In further investigating I contacted TD finance and they pointed out to me that the refund check from Hyundai did not existAfter discussing the situation with TD Finance we realized that the address on the refund check was to a TD Bank and not to TD financeIt is now an error on Hyundais controller Pamela Z*** whom I tried to contact with no response from her eitherI just wish Hyundai would do what is rightRefund my money owed and take the responsibility to straighten out the mess that your business created

Consumer did not provide us with proof of payoff when she came in to get the warranty refund, so we had to send the check to the lien holder TD Bank with her account referenced. They cashed it.  At this point [redacted] needs to go to them.  Attached are copies of the check sent and cashed.

[redacted],  I am sorry that this is your recollection of the events that took place. When you came in you informed us that you were a tier one credit score and in fact, Hyundai gave us a different approval level. So, yes, that was one factor that effected your payment and deposit amount....

We worked extremely hard getting you an approval. The only option that your vehicle is missing is the Smart Cruise Control, which is a $2,000 package and you opted not to take it. Together, you and your saleswoman picked out and priced several different vehicles with different packages and this is the one that suited your wants and needs best. In finance when we were reviewing your contracts with you we did discuss the mileage. It would have been a $25.00 increase in payments for the 15,000 miles a year, and you choose to stay with the lower payment. In addition, when you return a lease it is our obligation to Hyundai to report that vehicle as returned. this is actually for your protection. The right and proper thing to do when a customer has an issue is to yield to the customer. Riverhead Nissan contrarily has put the blame on the customer trying to justify any wrongdoing. I would have hoped you could have done something further. It is possible.        I would hope the Revdex.com makes this complaint public so that another customer does not encounter the same ordeal.

I had cancelled my contract in April not July. There was no mention of this check being sent to TD Bank when I personally spoke to the finance person at Hunydai. The copy of this check has no signature or proof of cashing, and my name is spelled entirely wrong. I spoke with the bank and no record of any check was received . I suggest Hunydai write me out a check and get the funds back from TD Bank as I have waited 5months for this return. In addition, why has TD Bank not refunded the money to me if it was sent to them?
