Mr. [redacted] submitted a repair order to NAC which identified the following repairs or services performed on his vehicle:   Oil change, cooling system pressure test, a coolant flush, an engine block chemical test, water pump replacement, and thermostat replacement.  Under the terms of Mr. [redacted]'s service contract, coverage is available for the cooling system pressure test, water pump replacement, and the coolant flush.  We have advised Mr. [redacted] of this in our multiple phone calls with him.  However, Mr. [redacted]'s service contract does not provide coverage for maintenance items such as the Thermostat and oil change.  Listed below is Exclusion # 15, as well as the contract provisions regarding maintenance requirements: 
Exclusion # 15.
 Replacement of maintenance items. Spark plugs, glow plugs, PCV valves,[redacted] filters, lubricants, thermostat housing, thermostats, [redacted]alignments, coolants, batteries, battery cable, fuses, hoses, belts, tires, wheels, wheel covers, tire pressure sensors, light bulbs, sealed beams, light assemblies, LED lighting, lenses, shock absorbers, seat belt systems, exhaust systems /catalytic converters, brake rotors, brake drums, brake shoes,brake pads, speakers, cellular phones, upholstery, paint, glass, trim, moldings, weather strip/seals, door handles, lift gate handles, tailgate handles, door bushings / bearings, body panels, sheet metal, bumpers,frames, sub-frames, brackets, convertible top assemblies, vinyl top, personal computers, phone systems and pre-heated car systems, rust, corrosion, water intrusion, water damage, water leaks, air leaks, carburetors, manual clutch system, programming, reprogramming, or updating a component that has not mechanically failed. Any equipment not installed by the manufacturer.
MAINTENANCE:
Regular maintenance service is a condition of this Vehicle Service Agreement. In order to keep this Service Agreement in force during its term, the Agreement Holder must have the Vehicle serviced as recommended by the manufacturer's scheduled Maintenance Guide or, if it is a used vehicle as specified in "Minimum Services Required." Therefore, the Agreement Holder must keep all maintenance receipts and furnish them to the Repair Facility upon Administrator's request. Receipts listing date, mileage, services performed and materials purchased will be the only acceptable proof of maintenance. Receipts for self-service will be required.
MINIMUM SERVICES REQUIRED:
The Agreement Holder must follow the manufacturer's maintenance requirements for new and used vehicles. Including, but not limited to engine oil changes, transmission services or any other special services recommended and/or required by the manufacturer. We have discussed the coverage exclusions with Mr. [redacted] in our telephone conversations with him.  Unfortunately, the service contract does not cover his oil change or thermostat.  Therefore, we were unable to pay for those items. While we understand that Mr. [redacted] wishes for the thermostat to be covered, the contractual provisions do not extend coverage to the thermostat.

I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 12196105, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me.

I reviewed the response made by the business NAC has decided to pay for the repair, so the complaint has been resolved fully and I would like to closed this case.

The clarification is this.  I wanted the transmission replaced, but that has not happened and it should have by now.  If the company is unwilling to do this, I will have to close the claim and take up potential court action as a last step.  I need some kind of satisfaction here as I believe the warranty company has not agreed to pay on things that were covered, in the contract, not just the transmission but other things.  So what is the answer on my complaint from NAC?  I NEED A YES OR NO on the transmission request and I need it by Tuesday the 6th, that is 48 hours.  If the answer is no, the Revdex.com can close the claim and I will look at all other options.  MRT

I am rejecting this response because: In speaking with the company they have stated that I have not maintained my car per service recommendations. I have talked to Christy H who stated that the information I submitted to Revdex.com of Ohio wasn't accepted because it did not come from Volvo. I have since gotten the same information from Volvocars. com and submitted all my supporting information to Christy H with NAC. I am waiting on a response from the company in regards to my complaint.

I am rejecting this response because: I am not asking them to pay for my oil change, my biggest complaint, is that labor was $464.91, they paid a mere $194.00 and that is unacceptable.  This why I am still fighting for this, I believe they took advantage of me and are not living up to their end of the bargain, especially since I went to an approved National Auto Care business.
