OTC Online Orders take over 2 weeks to fulfill!
It takes over two weeks to get your order, so if you need your OTC products in a hurry, do not order online. When you call to ask about the delay the customer service folks are very nice so I do not blame them, it is the packing and preparing the order that takes much longer than I think it should. I ordered online February 1, 2023, called on the 9th to check on the order. I was told it would arrive by the 13th. It did not arrive so I called again today (the 16th) and I was given a FED EX tracking # and told it should arrive today. When I checked the FED EX tracking number, I saw that the package did not even arrive at FED EX for shipping till February 15th, which means it took over two weeks to package a 5 item order. The same thing happened in an order I made early in January. With that order, when I called ten days later, the customer service person told me they had a record of the order but for some reason it was not processed. As I said, the Customer Service folks are very kind and helpful when you call, but I think this company needs to get their orders packaged and sent more quickly. There is also no email or other contact when your order is placed or shipped so you are in the dark about the whole process. About using the card in person at stores (Walmart, Giant Eagle, Krogers) for Healthy Groceries, that works quite well for me. Using it for OTC medicines etc. at Walmart is hit or miss.

Same here it takes 2 to 3 weeks to get anything then they put in wrong stuff in box and I called was told in 72 hours I would be refunded well here it is February 22 been waiting since January 27 so when I called today I am told it takes 30 days or more will not shop with them again and will not commend them to anybody

I'm having the same issue.
Also, I have yet to receive my new flex card.
So I've already lost the $100 for January and February is half over.
I can't get a straight answer.
Good luck to all of us.

Strange
I go to Better Business Bureau everyday to read complaints. I go today and there are no complaints on there. Hopefully this is just a glitch. If not then what is going on now because I know I left numerous complaints on better business bureau on how bad Nations Benefit is and I never saw them at all be placed on there and now I do not see any hmmm...

I agree and bbb gives them a a plus rating? Please ...noooo way! Nations is inept and disgraceful

Depending on how long it takes to be updated and if it comes back with all complaints is what I am wondering! I do not trust any big business to not pay someone off to get rid of their bad reviews...

I just went to the BBB website and it says they're updating Nations Benefits' profile.

I work for nation benefit, and just how you all are doing wrong.. the workers are being done wrong as well… I am about to put them on blast myself…. We cannot get a hold of no manager and the supervisor barely respond to us so that makes it hard for us as an employee to assist you guys

Please be the whistle blower and call the news stations even if you have to do it anouymously! Enough is enough of this company taking advantage of it's customers and now it's workers. They need to be shut down!

No information on when orders will arrive!
I've ordered on their website twice and there is no communication or any information provided on the status of the order! The first order arrived without any notice about a week later. It's been a week since my second order and still do not know when it will arrive! Unexpected packages left outside are stolen. The website is weak at best! The Walmart service was orders of magnitude better! Orders arrived within a day or two and they provided tracking information and status. I cannot afford to wait for my medications from an unpredictable service! Anthem please get rid of this terrible service!

New response
Today I received a text message from Anthem saying they wanted to talk about the issues I was having with Nations Benefits card. They pretty much kept apologizing and said they would get someone to call me back and created a ticket. I made sure to address that not only me but thousands of people are being done dirty by Nations Benefits and how if Anthem was going to continue to use this vendor that next year I would not feel comfortable staying with them because Nations Benefits is price gouging it's clients who are elderly and disabled. That I will not be using the card on Nations Benefits site and that I also reported the issue to Medicare. Then they stopped talking said to look in mail for a 15 dollar free Walmart card for my trouble. I will also not be using that 15 dollar free Walmart card because I will not be bribed to shut up and everyone knows if a company is offering something to you and you use it then they can claim later you were paid substantially for your troubles and can not file a lawsuit for breach of contract if you have already accepted a form of payment. No I am far from done fighting for everyone and far from done making this go as public as I can. I will not stop making it public till they get a new vendor and or make everyone's cards able to use online and in stores other than Nations Benefits site. I hope soon the news stations pick this up and run with it! Everyone keep up the good work because the pressure is what they need!

Also, I did some major digging. Here is what I found. Nations Benefits is a privately owned company with two different addresses and I found 2 extra numbers. 8050 NW 10th St, Suite 4200 Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33324 and 1801 NW 66th Ave, Suite 100 Plantation, FL 33313. The 2 extra numbers that are different from the catalog number they gave use came from the Founder and CEO, Glenn Parker's, LinkedIn profile and the other came from BBB. One of these numbers goes to the headquarters, but I can't remember which one. I called but it was after hours. (877.439.2665 OR 800.928.1558) This website shows what looks like three family members and a few doctors that started Nations Benefits. Go check it out, they are the Parkers and if you look at their job titles you'll see what I mean. (https://www.nationsbenefits.com/about-us) Also, if you'll take notice, the site is their sales site where they draw companies in. Let me know if you get through to the corporate office with one of the numbers I listed. If so, everyone should start blowing whichever number it is to pieces. :) Hope this helps instead of calling the B.S. number on the catalog! -Disgruntled Daughter

I agree whole-heartedly! My dad had the Healthy Benefits Plus(HB+) card for the past few years and so far this card is utterly useless. Why fix something that isn't broken? MONEY, that's why! I've tried multiple ways to contact them and complain because we can't even purchase the vitamins and basic groceries that we used to with HB+. Why would Anthem choose to go with a company that is charging more than double for medicine($12 for DayQuil), food($45 for 15 pieces of fruit or $7-$8 for a box of Corn Flakes), and vitamins? On top of that, the majority of the products they offer are extremely generic or the food items are things we can get from the church pantries! Did they forget to check the reviews? It's insane and I'm one disappointed daughter. We are reporting to 13 Action news, the FTC, and BBB if something doesn't change soon. Thankfully, I stocked up on vitamins and other things my father needs before the end of 2022. Sorry to the many thousands of people who are experiencing the same issues! I just checked the Nations Benefit portal and now there are no products available. Hopefully we can use our cards at Wal-Mart and Kroger soon! -Disgruntled

Bad support.
They have me waiting on the phone for more than 50 minutes, when the rings start, a total silence begins and no one answers, the worst customer support I have received from any service company. February 5 at 10:23 pm

Enough is enough of these scam companies
(212) 664-2333 Channel 10 WSLS local news number... Channel 7 WDBJ local news number (540) 985-3600...Channel 13 ABC local news number 434.455.5131...Call them all and make sure you say your insurance name and that they contracted out to Nations Benefits and how no one can use their card in stores or online or doctors office for dental, hearing or vision only at Nations Benefits who is price gouging the elderly and disabled. Tell them to look at better business bureau for complaints tell them to call Attorney General's Office and ask how many calls they have received or to call Medicare and ask how many complaints received. Tell them to call your insurance company and ask when this will be resolved and why they are using a vendor who is obviously price gouging their clients and why they have not did anything to fix this a month later yet they continue on their site to push us to use a company who is price gouging. I won't stop trying to complain and help for those who can not but I need help in numbers to do the same to make an impact. Help me to help you by continuing to call these news stations, give your testimony to them and we may get somewhere together! We can do this together. Stop the abuse of the elderly and disabled who can't fight for themselves or don't know who to turn to that rely on these benefits.

Because I can't give zero stars
Worst. Ever. What they're all saying. And if there's one thing most seniors have in common, it's not having the time to waste on issues like this. I will try to switch from anthem now to a provider with the benefits I chose. If I can't, lesson learned for next year. And what senior does not have dietary restrictions? Absolute poorest choices online. I was offered to walk thru my local kroger or Walmart and use my card at checkout. Seriously?! If I could do that any time I needed to, or use what is offered online for that matter, I wouldn't be a senior or disabled, now would I? I really don't want to waste any more of my time on this complaining officially. But maybe that's what they're counting on.

You get the run around
Agent couldn't help.I asked for supervisor. His response is supervisors do not take calls. He said he would forward my information to a supervisor. I offered the transaction I.D. concerning my issue, but the agent REFUSED it, though it could help the "supervisor".

There IS a concern about price gouging if you have to order online.

Solution? Simple 1st off they do business by internet so you should file a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission), FCC (Federal Communications Commission) and your local D.A.'soffice. DA for price gouging suspicion.

They think you have no recourse, but you most certainly do.

Good hunting

Time to create some drama for them!!!
Anthem promises for it's clients healthy benefits but if you put in products on Nations Benefits such as water that can be purchased they are flavored water which is not basic water and is not healthy. The other foods are also not healthy. We can not use the card unless we are forced to use Nations Benefits and they are price gouging the disabled and elderly on their horrific website. Until March 31 a lot of people can change to Humana if you have a dual plan which is Medicare and Medicaid. But the problem lies with people like me who can not change because every dual plan in my area uses this scam card. Everyone needs to file a complaint with Medicare against their insurance agency using this card and call your local news stations and complain that we are being scammed and stuck in an endless loop hole of our insurance promising us these benefits yet in stores they can not be used and only used at the scam site. If in a month this is not fixed I think we need to find a class action lawyer because let's face it nothing our insurance company has promised has been fulfilled. When this first happend my advocate at insurance company promised to try to help and now guess who ain't even answering her phone for me anymore. All this has been is lies and more lies and trying to force us to use that Nations benefits scam online site to price gouge us all. So then our insurance agency gets a discount on their vendor while we can't use the benefits correctly unless we are forced to purchase third world items from a crap vendor. So our insurance agencies make out because if no way to use card then they are saving money and if we do use it at Nations benefit they get to price gouge us. If something don't give soon we all need to get a class action going for discrimination, breach of promise of a contract and price gouging. They want to play a game with us. Let's see how they like making national news for scamming the elderly and disabled. Go to Facebook, Twitter, any social media and write local news stations, go to better business bureau, medicare, call Attorney general office, call news stations, call your local newspapers. Do not stop till we see this everywhere. Put your insurance company and Nations Benefit on blast anywhere you can daily. Enough bad publicity and they will do something because they do not want to look like or be associated with scammers!

count me in my email is [email protected]

I am beyond tired of big companies taking advantage of the elderly and disabled. It is bad enough we are not well but it is a whole complete different ball game that they think it is ok we wait on them to fix something that is not going to be fixed by that company anytime this decade. This should have been a cut and dry deal, Nations Benefits did not comply with their vendor contract to these insurance companies so our insurance companies had an out to back out of their vendor contract with them and hire someone else. Not tell it's clients to wait and be patient. It says no where in our insurance contracts to wait and be patient while they fix anything this should have been fixed by finding a new vendor and should have never happened to begin with. But instead I guess them saving money is more important than their clients. Remember how you were treated by your insurance companies come time to change insurance companies! They can either make this right or they can loose all their business too.

Count me in,,,, really tired of being take advantage of. The large and powerful abusing the little guy.

Oh My God!
Three weeks into the new year and this nationsbenefits mastercard was supposed to be so much better than the OTC card I had last year...it is not! It doesnt work anywhere but Walmart, when it works. And if you try to call for balance be prepared for the sloth from Zootopia reading your information...back...to...you.

Anthem BCBS must be brain damaged
Got this new nationsbenefits debit card that works no where except on their site where things are 3 to 4 times higher the walmart and kroger. Filed a complaint with BCBS and also filed a fraud report with the FBI. nationsbenefits is a total rip off and abusing us seniors. I dropped BCBS on 1/14/2023 and went with Humana and get more monthly benefits and can even use it toward utilities, groceries at what ever store I want to shop.

Dysfunctional and very high priced items.
The prices on the items in their catalog for the OTC purchases are outrageous. Approximately double the amount of what WalMart is charging. This is highway robbery for sure. Anthem will be notified of this tomorrow. What on earth was Anthem thinking when they switched to MyBenefits Nations Benefits?

NationsBenefits LLC is going to Get Anthem Sued
File a complaint on Anthem with Medicare. Anthem contracted NationsBenefits LLC to manage their combined spending cards for 2023. We have Anthem MediBlue Plus (HMO) Advantage Plans. NationsBenefits is managing the Flex and OTC account cards. The cards were mailed with a catalog with instructions that stated for in store shopping download the MyBenefits app to scan a product UPC code to see if it was eligible for purchase. Well I downloaded the app twice, then deleted it. It doesn't work. It has no UPC code scanner. The app like their website are exactly the same. They both have a section to manually enter a UPC code or product name for Walmart to see if it's eligible. It doesn't work either. Just like all the other reviews on this site and the Google Play Store after trying to enter our member numbers to register our cards, I finally figured out you have to drop the first 3 letters. Use everything after the first 3 letters to register. The 1st day on the website if you wanted to download a catalog, it was only Vietnamese. If you chose all products from the drop down menu on the website you will see 2 wallets on the left side of the screen. In our case it is Flex and OTC. If you check the Flex wallet it will bring up all these products like toothpaste, dental floss, mouth wash, eye drops, contact solution, etc. Under every product on the website it will state if the product is an OTC product, or Flex account product. The problem with this, is Fraud! The Flex allowance is only for paying for out of pocket expenses at Dental, Vision, and Hearing providers. This is stated in Anthem's Medicare contract, the plan's Evidence of Coverage, and Summary of Benefits. The Flex allowance is not for purchase of toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwash, eye drops, contact solution, etc! This is FRAUD if NationsBenefits charges the Flex allowance for these products. All the products you can order off the app or website are 2 to 5 times more than you would pay at any other retail store or online store. All the other stores offer free shipping, their products are 2 to 5 times cheaper than NationsBenefits. Even if you factor in free shipping, business expenses, NationsBenefits is gouging Medicare seniors. I have watched NationsBenefits apps on Google Play since 1/1/2023 slip in star ratings. Today the MyBenefit Portal is down to 1.4, the Nations OTC is at 1.9. The apps have 100s of complaints, none are good. Like everyone else I tried to call on 1/2/2023, only to be on hold for a while till I gave up. Like everyone else I first tried to have a code sent to me by email to register an account. Never got the codes till hours later. Finally chose the security questions to set up our accounts. Never entered our emails in our account after I chose the questions option, won't do it either. NationsBenefits has bad reviews all over the internet on Google Play, this site, BBB, indeed, glassdoor.com. Other than their app or website, there is no way to tell which items are eligible to purchase at retail stores. You are going into a store blind, not knowing what is eligible to purchase, till you get to the cash register to see what the card will cover, if it works at all. Beware if you order from the website or app that your Flex account is not getting charged for online products from them. That Flex allowance is only to be used at Dental, Vision, or Hearing providers. I will not order from NationsBenefits online or through the app, I don't trust this company. From complaints on Google Play, I'm seeing the card is being denied in stores. I saw a complaint an Anthem member ordered through the app, it deducted off her card, but showed no order on the app. I have seen other complaints that people are not getting products they ordered and their cards are being charged. Don't trust NationsBenefits LLC. This is a bad company, it's only been in business since 2015. There is no excuse Anthem, Aetna, has for contracting NationsBenefits to manage their cards. There is no excuse for why none of the apps, website, work 6 days into the new year. There is no excuse why the cards are being denied at retail stores. With the bad tech NationsBenefits LLC has, I predict they will get hacked and every Anthem, Aetna, member is going to have their information stolen. Time to shop for a different Medicare Advantage Plan between 1/1/2023 and 3/31/2023. Jump ship now before it totally goes underwater. Make sure NationsBenefits LLC does not manage the cards on any other plan you are thinking of signing up for. NationsBenefits LLC is a joke, Medicare seniors are being scammed by this company!

Very careless decision from Anthem to choose MyBenfits Nations Benefits. Also, their prices for the OTC items are double the cost of what WalMart charges. What a shame.

Incompetancy at its finest!
Unable to log into nations benefits portal. Terrible app. I will be switching from Anthem to another provider that does not use nations benefits. I don't have the time to waste on this crap.
