Our overall experience was great. Reggie gave us an estimate which turned out to be very accurate. It was also the best price of the four quotes we obtained. We did have a scare the day before the move when we were told the move would be delayed another day but after a while things were back to the original date we were told when we signed the agreement. On moving day, there were two men, Darren and Jamal. Those two guys worked very hard and quickly. They were courteous, friendly but did not waste time chit-chatting. The truck was loaded on the first day and taken to their warehouse overnight. The next morning, they arrived to our new house in Fort Myers from Plantation and quickly got to work. It took them only three hours to unloaded the truck. Great job guys!

The support that I received throughout my moving process was excellent. I was always catered to and was able to stay in touch with all of the representatives that helped me since the beginning. I would definitely encourage anyone to use Nationwide Van Lines for their upcoming move.

Office communication was excellent. Returned calls and answered questions clearly. Made us feel comfortable that everyone cared about our belongings. Movers were on time, actually early, friendly, knowledgeable. They arrived to our new home early and off loaded everything exactly where I asked. We would use them again and would highly recommend them to others.

I've moved with other companies in the past and have never had such a bad experience. In addition to their practice of suppressing negative reviews through signed settlement contracts, you should avoid Nationwide Van Lines because KNOWINGLY send out movers that are unprepared and behave unprofessionally and who cause damages to your property.

Despite the fact that Nationwide Van Lines, Inc. sent out a mover that has received multiple complaints and has since been dismissed from their company, their claims process is inexplicably slow. It took them over 30 days to even acknowledge the receipt of my claim and over three months to process the claim.

Here are some details about my move:

1. Unprofessional behavior:
On pickup, the movers strongly hinted to me 3 to 4 times to generously tip them, as this is not an easy job and that they're the ones doing all the hard work. They also told me that if I took care of them with a tip, then they would take care of me. This is not acceptable behavior. Any person in this scenario would believe that if they didn't tip them, then they would not take care of their stuff.

They completely missed both pickup and delivery windows. The pickup window was from 9 am - 1 pm. They didn't arrive until 3:30 pm. They blamed it on bad traffic. They spent an hour setting up blankets before they came up to the apartment at 4:30 to start wrapping furniture. I had to stay there until 10 pm before they were finished completely. And this is even with having packed all of the boxes before the move.

The delivery window was also from 9 am - 1 pm. They did not arrive until 7 pm. Again, they blamed it on traffic and sent me photos via text of traffic, but they told me they were coming from Virginia, which is only a 4-6 hour drive. They were not finished until 11:30 pm, creating a lot of noise for my neighbors, and I received complaints from the leasing office about the noise that they caused at a late hour due to them arriving late.

The method used to wrap the furniture was not done in a professional manner. It left considerable adhesive residue from the tape on the furniture, which I had to carefully remove. Additionally, a lot of the blankets used to wrap the furniture were filthy, leaving lots of black soot for me to wipe up.

2. Unprepared:
They took apart my futon when no other previous movers had taken it apart. This would have been fine with me, but upon delivery, they forgot how to put it back together. Fortunately, I was watching them take it apart and had to give them directions. Also, in order to unwrap the blankets, they needed to cut the tape on there. They didn't even have a box boxer available and asked to use my chef's knife to cut the tape. Fortunately, I had a box cutter available that I provided (Ironically, the box cutter was left over from a previous moving company's move - they were prepared!).

3. Damages:
All of the boxes upon delivery were dented or smashed in some way or the other, which only happens if items were improperly secured or if the movers stacked too many boxes on top of each box. My bike was bent from too much weight being placed on top of it.

There was a large dent/chip into one of my solid wood bookcases on the front that was transported. I noticed upon moving that the movers only wrapped the sides of the bookcases with blankets, leaving sizable gaps for the shelves to be exposed. This would not have happened if they wrapped the bookcases completely. The company considered this damage "cosmetic" and would not even offer the full measly $0.60 per pound.

BOTTOM LINE: If you want any semblance of a professional move, undamaged property, and a responsive company, do not use Nationwide Van Lines. I'll give up my settlement money so other people won't have to go through this awful moving experience.

Our experience with Nationwide was good, we have no experience to guage it to put the people we interacted with were all great. They treated us and our belongings with respect. I really enjoyed watching them dig their truck out of the snow. We had a couple of items broken and the original estimate of space rquired was about 20% short of reality. But their atitude made up for the little problems.

I recently relocated from MD to SC. I had a great packing and pick up experience. They were punctual, professional, thorough, and careful with my belongings. I had a great delivery experience too. They were punctual, thorough, and their demeanor cheered me up on a tough rainy day. They worked hard and smiled through it all. Nationwide Vanlines is worth the money!

Top Notch Professional Service!!!

I made a long distance move from south FL to Asheville NC. I was more than pleased with the entire process as managed by Nationwide. My moving consultant, [redacted], was available for questions and explained everything clearly prior to the move and his explanation reflected my actual experience.. The movers themselves [redacted] and [redacted] were professional, friendly, and very competent at both the pick up and delivery of my goods. Due to very cold weather in Asheville, my apartment was not ready for occupancy until a few hours after the van arrived in Asheville. However, the moving crew checked with their dispatcher and waited until I had access to the apartment (and the snow had tapered off) so they could unload the van. I appreciate the good customer service and the fact that my belongings arrived on-time and in good condition.

I just moved from ct to fl and had excellent service from nationwide van lines right from the start. starting with patrik helping me with my estimate and then with the movers johnny and charlie. everyone was very pleasant friendly and very very hard workers. my wife and I were both very pleased with there service and can't think of a single thing that they need to do to improve their service and we would gladly recommend their service to anyone!!

The Nationwide teams that packed and unpacked my items were both courteous, professional and meticulous. The items were packed with care and preparation for the few months I had them in storage with Nationwide and the delivery team took the same care in the deliverance of my items. I would recommend Nationwide based on my move. They were very professional and always stayed in contact throughout the process.

Our move from Long Island to Spring Hill was handled with the utmost of professionalism. The packers on Long Island did a marvelous job wrapping everything and the movers here in Florida were also excellent. They were both friendly and helpful in wrapping and unwrapping the furniture and nothing had even a scratch. We were very satisfied and would recommend them to any of our friends for a move. My coworker expressed her surprise on the way all of packages arrived rather intact and well organized as compared to other shipments for other coworkers that used another shipping company .

Overall very happy with decision to use moving company. They were very meticulous wrapping and handling our belongings. I recommend them highly.

I used Nationwide Van Lines to move my furniture from Georgia to New Jersey. My first contact was with Alana, Moving Consultant. She explain the whole moving process clearly with me. I had a lot of questions and she answered them all. She had a lot of patience and whenever she told me she would call me back she followed through. On the day of the move the movers, Alberto, Paul, Juan arrived on time. Their dress appearance was very professional and they were very courteous. They put covering over my floors so they would be protected. They took great care in wrapping my furniture and packing my fragile pieces. My furniture was delivered in a timely manner. I had no damage items and no missing items. Nationwide Van Lines did an excellent move for me and I recommend them highly!!
