Regards,
*** *** This is partially true they did tell me I could purchase a new kit at first and wait on it to be shipped then put the wrong parts in the new box and they would pay the shipping to return it and give me a refundI will admit I was not in a position to wait on it because I needed transportation so I asked to speak to a manager because I did not want to go that route I needed to purchase a new kit from my local parts store and get it done ASAPWhen the manger called me the next day he clearly told me that I could not return it because parts had been fastened to the car not used just bolted upHe said there was no option at that point and that I was stuck with the kit the parts where not used they did not tell me that if there where no Signs of weat they would offer me a refund he said they woman I talked to initially had basically lied to meI told the first representative that one part had been fastens on she said to send it back and they would issue a refund the manager said no that’s not trueThis has caused me financial problems and I just want it resolved this was there mistake and they won’t even work with meThe car is fixed so buying another clutch is out of the question at this point I would even except a partial refund to work with them if possible. thanks
If Mr*** provides proof he purchased an A/C system flush when installing the part he is requesting replacement under warranty, we will provide replacement instructions

As our Help page explains: "Transit times and "Receive by" dates shown are estimates by the carrier and, while usually accurate, are not guaranteed by RockAuto" (http://www.rockauto.com/help/?page=3#EXPECTDELIVERY)We are sorry that Ms*** did not receive her order by the estimated delivery dateHowever, we offer no guarantee of compensation if this estimate turns out to be inaccurateWe have made a good faith effort to compensate Ms*** for the delay in delivering her orderWe offer no further compensation

This website is very outdated and unethical.I regret doing any business with a site that cannot stand behind there business.I am not a everyday mechanic and after purchasing parts off rock auto.com and buying from other places autozone, oreilly, amazon they verify with your VIN number to match your vehicle with your needs. While orderING parts off rockauto.com they guided me through the parts I needed and have failed due to not verifying my Vin number of my truck. This could have caused more severe damage and luckily I prevented that and will pay the extra bucks up front to get quality parts and a service. This place reminds me of a dollar tree spend a dollar on something but cannot return for a refund
Regards,
*** ***
It's fine I will find else were to order parts there are so many other places I will be sure to inform people on how rock auto does business

Regards,
*** *** Thecustomer service was informed of the urgent nature of request and he told me that if I needed it overnight then I needed to choose the overnight option, which I didI never saw a comment informing me of "next business day"also next business day for the shipping company that was shipping would have been the next dayI could have selected standard shipping to save a noticeable amount of money and received it just as quickAll I want is the refund of the extra shipping since to me it seemed deceptivethanks
On 5/16, Ms*** went to our Order Status & Returns page to report that the part she ordered did not fitShe also noted that she installed the part on her vehicleAs our Help page notes, if a part does not fit, customers should not try to make the part fit and that we will not accept returns
of parts that have been installed or modified (http://www.rockauto.com/help/?page=4#Returns)We denied Ms***'s return. On 5/22, she contacted us to say that "when [she] went to install it the bolt holes do not match what so ever." We told her "it appears that you'd tried to install it and then found out you could not." We authorized her return with the understanding that the part she was returning showed no signs of installation because the part could not be installed on her vehicle. On 6/12, our warehouse notified us that Ms***'s part had, in fact, been installedMultiple bolt holes showed obvious signs of being torqued down and worn inWe denied her return and shipped the part back to herAccording to the manufacturer, the part Ms*** ordered should have fit her vehicle; we don't know why it did notSince she installed the part anyway, we cannot refund her
On 5/27, Mr*** ordered a driver side rocker panelOn 6/1, he contacted us to report that he received a passenger side rocker panelHe chose to keep the part, but asked that we refund his shipping, which we did on 6/2.He ordered another driver side rocker panel later that day and contacted
us asking that we ensure the correct part is shippedOne of our representatives contacted our warehouse to request that the part be checked prior to shipment. On 6/6, he went to our Order Status & Returns page to report that he received the wrong part againWe provided a prepaid FedEx return shipping label, which he used to return the part for a full refund (issued 6/14)We sell other rocker panels for his vehicle, which he is welcome to purchase

We have nothing further to say to Ms***
On 1/8/2017, Mr*** ordered two CV half shaft assembliesWe are sorry to hear one of them is not correctAs our Help page notes, parts may be returned for a refund within days of purchaseSince it has been over months since Mr*** ordered, we will not allow him to return the part for
a refund
Mr***'s initial claim was that he was dissatisfied with the rebuild service he purchased because the bearings on the unit he returned were not replacedGiven this fact, our response was to affirm that the service we advertise for this rebuild does not include the replacement of any bearingsHowever, Mr*** raises a new claim in this responseHe notes, as he has not previously, that he contacted A-Cardone, and confirmed that they no longer offer a rebuild service for his power steering pump.Because that information was never communicated to us, neither by Mr***, nor by A-Cardone, we contacted A-Cardone today to verify this claimIn fact, a representative in the Return and Rebuild department confirmed that Mr***'s assertion is trueA-Cardone discontinued the rebuild service that Mr*** purchased, and did not inform us of their decision. We regret the inconvenience that A-Cardone's lack of communication has causedTo prevent this problem from repeating itself, we are currently examining why we never received notice from them regarding this consequential decisionHowever, our representatives addressed the problem with Mr***'s power steering pump in precisely the manner we would expect them to.The warranty for the rebuild service that Mr*** purchased offers a warranty rebuild, in the event that the first rebuild results in a defectBecause A1-Cardone neglected to inform us that they had discontinued the rebuild service that Mr*** ordered, we had every reason to believe that 1) the rebuild service took place, and 2) the warranty rebuild service covered under warranty could be offered to remedy the defects resulting from the firstOur policy is not fraudulent, it honors the warranty provided by the manufacturer. We attempted to contact Mr*** today, and were able to speak with his wife, who was aware of the situationWe left a message for Mr*** with his wife, explaining why we handled his order the way we did, and noting that we are sorry for the inconvenienceWe welcome Mr***'s future business, and have removed the debt relating to this order from his account
On 1/17, Mr*** went to our Order Status & Returns page to report that the clutch kit he ordered was defectiveWe authorized his return and provided return instructions and a prepaid FedEx return shipping label to return the part for a full refundHe has yet to return the part.As our
Warranties page notes, warranties offer no reimbursement of labor costs or other expenses (http://www.rockauto.com/docs/warranty).Mr***'s initial return authorization has expiredWe have issued him a new one and generated a new prepaid FedEx return shipping label to return his part for a full refundHis authorization and label are valid until 3/3/He can view and print the return instructions and shipping label from our Order Status & Returns pageWe will not reimburse his labor costs. No employee of RockAuto would speak to a customer in the manner in which Mr*** says one did, though we do apologize if our receptionist was anything less than professionalWe do not offer customer service over the phone
