Valet Living is contracted to pick up trash from resident's apartments at *** at *** *** in *** The residents pay $per month for this service Last night, December 30, the trash wasn't collected Since there is no service on Friday or Saturday and they don't pick up on New Years Eve or Day, our next collection will be Jan2, which means no pick up for a week
At least once and sometimes twice a month, Valet Living does not pick up trash as contracted They are paid but they violate their contract
Valet Living consistently fails to fulfill their contractual obligations for service at my residence
I am contractually obligated to utilize Valet Living at my apartment home for garbage disposal services I have had to contact Valet Living at least once for seven months about my trash at my residence not being picked upI am given excuses, and now I am being ignored with my complaintsI am being charged $a month and my trash is not being picked up on a consistent, monthly basisThis company is unprofessional, and it is unethical that I have to pay for a service I don't get and no longer wantI am here to file a formal complaint with this company as this is my last resolveThey have made my apartment experience horrible and I feel I am getting robbed every month by still being charged payment for services I end up doing myself!
I want them to refund me the $25/month I pay for my trash services because they forget my trash almost weekly
I spoke with the district manager on the phone last Monday, January 30th, to complain once again about my trash not being picked up the evening prior (Sunday)I advised him that I have to call and complain about my services at least once or twice/month and sometimes moreI want my $back because again, they left my trash in the trash bin last night, Sunday, February 5th, I opened my door this morning and lo and behold, my trash bin was still fullI am frustrated and want my money back! I only sit my trash out for pionce or twice/per week because I don't have much to put outI've also learned the hard way that they don't take cardboard down to the dumpsterThe trash they pigoes right into our dumpsterI can do that myself and have many times beforeWhy should I pay for a service that doesn't provide a piservice?
Valet Waste started collection at my community about months ago, in the fall of Since then there has been an additional charge for trash service and their service isn't reliable Almost every week there is a missed night and I have been communicating with the property management about this There doesn't seem to be a lot they can do When I addressed this with management a representative from Valet Waste lied to the management to a point that I am now having to take pictures of my trash can before putting it out
In addition Valet Waste has a process in which they will "fine" a resident if they don't comply with a list of regulations that was taped to the door one day IMO this is a violation of the residents due process rights The resident has no procedure (at least that I can find) to fight the fine or even be heard when this happens It's just added to the rent and if unpaid the resident will be evicted
If it was just me that was having this problem it would be a different circumstance, but a quick online search of reviews on places like Yelp show this is happening all over the country And since I have no choice but to use this service or move I can't even bring my business elsewhere
I put this out to apartment / condo and association managers, make sure you review this company before doing business with them - they are a bad egg
