NavTool, Inc. Reviews (68)

Review: I placed an order on September *, 2014 (their order# [redacted]). Later that day I received an email indicating it had shipped. On September [redacted] I contacted them as the tracking info did not show the product had actually shipped. They indicated the product was backordered until September [redacted]. On September [redacted] I contacted them by email without response, but I also contacted them by phone and was told the order would be shipped the following Friday. it is now almost 2 months since I placed the order and now they will not return my emails or answer the phone. Checking other complaints on the Revdex.com I see they seem to have a history of taking money with no intent on delivering product. I am very disappointed, especially as this company website shows the product is in stock and brags about supporting US Jobs and buying in the USA.Desired Settlement: I would like the product I purchased (which I was told was in stock when I ordered). If it is not in stock as claimed, I would like my money refunded immediately.

Review: I ordered a Navtool product on November [redacted], My order number is [redacted].

The product arrived significant different than described. The website advised it was 100% plug and play but the unit they shipped me required wire cutting and soldering.

I wanted to avoid shipping it back so I installed it anyway and it turned out that it didn't even have the right software for my car. I called customer support and they confirmed it was installed correctly, but the software needed to be updated,

I contacted navtool numerous times about the "update" and they repeatedly told me "next week"..."next week",,,"next week". After 3 months, they allegedly released an update, and after applying the update, nothing happened--it still doesn't work like before.

When in reverse, the Navtool box is supposed to turn on the backup camera and display the image on my stock navigation screen. the software is incorrect and does not do that. not only does it not work in reverse, the unit doesn't turn off completely when the car is off so it uses up battery power and I get an error from my car saying the battery is being drained unnecessarily.

I emailed them on December [redacted] asking for a refund, but I have yet to receive a formal response. I have spoken to their reps on online forums and they asked me to contact sales and return the product for a refund, but I feel it is unfair for me to have to pay for return shipping, and incur further costs to take apart my car, remove the unit, fix the wires in my dash, and reassemble the car. this is not an easy task. Additionally, it is winter here and it is terribly cold outside. I will not be doing any repairs to my car in these conditions.

I would be happy to have someone from navtool take my car apart and reassemble it, and I will return the unit that way.

It is unjust for them to expect me to spent multiple hours taking apart my car in the cold weather to return a product that they knew wouldn't work to begin with.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund.

Review: I've ordered an interface for Hummer H2 on 5/**/2015 and never get it. It was promised as a two week of waiting, now 4 months is gone and I haven't recieved my order. I've contacted a few guys from support and they tell me different lies about my order, now they doesnt answer to my emails at all, also I can't reach them by phone and start a chat with support.Desired Settlement: I think that this guys is a scammers, so they must be arrested and go directly to jail.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

That answer is nothing, but a big lie. Firs: there was the international shipping option on the website (i've attached a screenshot with this), second: I did'nt recieve any refund from that company and I can prove with documwnts from my bank, third: their support team always says about new reason why they could'nt send my order to me and promises like "shipping that week", "will ship today" and etc. for about 4 months already.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becauseDear Vitaliy! It's the shame that you are [redacted] too, like me. One more time: you did'nt send to me ANYTHING! (prove your words with documents or tracking #). You did'nt return my money to me. You didn't excuse for this. I think that you are scammer, and your company (if that company even exist) must be closed, and you must be arrested. You lie so much, that you didn't remember your lies. I've read your answer to bank and you don't have any documents to prove that you ship my order to me. So I wish that every guy on every thematic community knows that he must beware if your company.

Ordered product, received my order 2 days later, got support at 5pm on Sunday. Great company , great people.

Review: I ordered the NavTool 2.0 from this company. It includes a push button toggle switch and properly labelling on product.

The company sent me NavTool 3.0 with any prior consent or warning. The product looks like a knockoff - it has no labelling on it. They enclosed a letter with it saying that it was hot off the presses, so they couldn't put the sticker on it. They proofed this to be a lie since they said they wouldn't have the sticker until January 2016. They later said, they may not have a sticker for it at all. (I have emails to confirm this to be true). The reality is that this is a beta version of their 3.0 version that they are arbitrarily sending to customers to (without consent) to be beta testers. They did not send a push button toggle switch with it. I've asked then to send me one through numerous emails, but they refuse to do so.

I am not even certain the product works.

They have been very unhelpful, disespectful, rude, arrogant and acting like mns (there is no other words to describe their behaviour) - to put it bluntly. They have said numerous lies to me already and continue to change their stories as they get caught into new lies. (This can be confirmed through countless other customer experiences).

I have done my best to resolve this issue with them with repeated warnings that I would contact the Revdex.com if they did not provide a fair and reasonable resolution, but they did not care.Desired Settlement: To discontinue sending customers a different product then they ordered just so they can get them to be free beta testers. This should and may very well be illegal.

To provide me with the push button toggle switch immediately and the sticker for the product later.

In the event the product does not work, provide me with a full refund (including cost of return shipping).

Get them to change the crappie customer service they provide into good customer service.

Or simply, to provide me a full refund on the product (and to it immediately as numbers of customers have complained about them stalling to do so) and to provide prepaid return shipping. I will buy a similar device from a company who provides good, customer service and deserves to have my money.

Or

I've never dealt with any other company that's been this bad. I'm surprised they are still in business.

We have offered customer to return new model and exchange for previous version, customer refuses to return product. We can't help if product isn't returned to us for exchange

Review: I purchased an electronic interface device (NAVRGB+TL10) from the Navtool website ([redacted]) on Oct **, 2014 and paid using [redacted]. I received a confirming email from Navtool as well as a processed payment email from [redacted] for the $351.98 purchase price. I have heard nothing since and have not received the product. I have attempted to contact the company on multiple occasions to get a status on the order or to find out when it will ship. I have sent emails (I have copies), used their "contact us" function on their website (I have copies of the automated response acknowledging the submission of my request for information), tried to use the "chat" function but no one responds and called their number and left voicemail - no one being available despite it being during their posted business hours.

I have opened a dispute with [redacted] to attempt to recover the money from the company. I am also filing a chargeback request with my credit card company. I will file a complaint with the [redacted] office as well.

Despite all attempts to contact them, they are unresponsive and failed to ship the product while maintaining an active website. Based on this, I must conclude they are not legitimately in business to support customers and should be considered a fraudulent entity. I see that they also have a location in Revdex.com records in [redacted]. Both company records supply the same website address so I will file a complaint under that business name/location as well.

Any assistance you can provide in getting my money returned and/or shutting this company down would be appreciated. [redacted]Desired Settlement: Since they are not supplying the product they contracted for and received money in consideration for, they should return my money. Since they are not actively responding to customer questions or requests, they should discontinue their website and purported sales of their products.

Review: I ordered a Lexus GS 2006 - 2009 Navigation video interface October **, 2014. After I purchased the product the sent me an email saying that its a back order on it 8 to 12 weeks. I've waited after 45 day called and talked to a George and he said Its still on back order. So I canceled the order for a refund. I never received it. The told me it was in the mail. They waited the 180 day so [redacted] couldn't dispute it. I've talked to [redacted] also about the problem. Navtool never sent the product or refunded my money back to my [redacted] account. I have a log on every time I called them and they gave me the runaround.
