We have contacted the customer.  The customer is aware
of the qualifications required for under 25. He was confused because in the
past he had gotten a free upgrade into a F150 out of the 4415 location. We set him up with a 1 day
rental out of 4406 this Wednesday and took care of 2...

hours for him so he would
only be charged 1 day.Customer seemed satisfied.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Mangement at downtown Milwaukee told me that my deposit will be returned when I returned the rental. They never stated nor does it say in the contract in which I signed that my deposit won't be returned under the circumstance of extending a rental. If I asked to extend my rental and pay the amount per day of 78.10. How is my deposit just gone because I extended my rental. That doesn't make any sense. This company has ruined my thanksgiving Holliday and continue to be a inconvenience. Exceptional customer service would be to take care of the 81.48 and return my deposit as I was told it would be refunded when the rental was returned and inspected and there was nothing wrong with the rental, when I returned it.

Our [redacted] spoke to the customer this morning and we are refunding her the cost of her rental for her inconvenience.  Registration is now up to date.  This is good to close.

Our Area Manager spoke with Mr. [redacted] and apologized for his
frustrations with his rental experience on his pick up date.  The Area Manager also
followed up with him last Monday and made arrangements to meet him at his gym
to switch him into a different vehicle of his...

the inconvenience, customer was told he would have no personal out of pocket expense
while his insurance company is paying for his vehicle for driving the upgraded

The reason why I am rejecting the offer of Enterprise taking care of the balance of$ 81.48. Is the company has inconvenience me enough I have been dealing with this issue since 11.27.2015 and it still isn't resolve. The company should be taking care of the balance and returning my deposit in the amount of $150.00. To accommodate me for this ongoing issue were it took to the middle of December to even get a response. As told to me by management at the Downtown Milwaukee location. Once I return the rental the deposit would be release. If that's what I was told that is what Enterprise should be offering the return of my deposit.

Our [redacted] did contact that customer and we agreed to refund the customer the amount he was asking $138 plus tax and the customer was satisfied with that.  To our knowledge this issue has been resolved.

On
7/26, Michelle came to our [redacted].  She and the [redacted],
called the bank together.  The bank requested a handwritten letter
from us indicating that we have no claim to Michelle's funds.  Nick, the [redacted], sent
that in on Michelle's behalf that same day.  We have not heard back from
Michelle since 7/26, so we assumed that this had been resolved.
 
We have left a voicemail for Michelle this morning to follow-up.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] I work until at least 4:30 and I knew I would not be able to make it to Enterprise until Wednesday july 26. I tried to call but no answer and phone does not leave an option to leave a message. I did speak with another manager of Enterprise and they are suggesting I go to the Baraboo branch and call my bank and have them speak to them personally. I told her that I have already done all that.. And I told her that I did put the bank on speaker and the bank did verify that Enterprise did take funds from my card and told them that Enterprise needs to take the hold off my funds. [redacted] that I spoke with on the phone said this has never happened before. Therefore I think they do not know how to fix this properly. I just want my money back and its Enterprise that is not doing what they can to fix it. Its alot of money to me and has set me back as far as paying some bills and being charged late fee's and other problems.
