Complaint ID # [redacted]   It appears that the customer has had the vehicle repaired and fixed already. We unfortunately are unable to help with any of the repairs after it is already fixed. The vehicle was past the implied warranty of 15 days/500 miles and the customer has already had the repairs done. Customer was requesting to get help with the repairs as they could not afford to fix it. It seems that the customer must have already started the repairs when the initial complaint was filed. We would not be able to reimburse repairs done at another repair shop or for a rental car. We would like to thank the Better Business Bureru for their time in helping with this matter.

We at New Deal do our best to make sure every customer is satisfied with their purchase and has a positive experience. We would like to express that a used vehicle no matter the age or mileage, is going to need Maintenance repair items. We do feel that the customer would be happy and enjoy their vehicle without making it brand new from the Cadillac Dealer. If however, the customer absolutely does not want the vehicle they purchased. We would be willing to purchase the vehicle back at the proposed amount from the customer of $2,800. Customer would need to bring in the title and for us to look at the vehicle to make sure it is in the condition from when it was purchased. Our office manager who writes the checks is here Monday-Friday 9-4. Customer can come in any time during that time period. We would like to thank the Revdex.com in helping with this matter. JD S[redacted]

RE: Complaint ID #  [redacted] We understand the customer is un-happy that their vehicle may need struts. Again, this is not a major mechanical issue and the car is completely safe to drive. It is not uncommon for a 15 year old vehicle to need struts. We did offer to take the vehicle back no questions asked if the customer was unhappy with the vehicle. Since the customer did not come back, we assume they are satisfied with the vehicle. As another chance to make the customer happy, our cost for two front complete struts is $150. We would cover all labor associated with replacing the struts and all the customer has to pay is the cost for the parts. We would like to thank the Revdex.com in their help with this matter.

We are never happy to hear a
customer has had a negative experience when purchasing a vehicle from us. We do
all that we can to make sure every one of our customers have a positive
experience. However, sometimes in this industry these things do happen. We have
reviewed the complaint from the...

customer and respond as follows: The customer purchased two
vehicles from us on March 24th. There was an error on the salesman’s
behalf as he was giving the incorrect information on one of the vehicles. At
the time we had two Infiniti G35 vehicles. One was a 4 door sedan and the other
2 door coupe. All of our vehicles are clearly priced on the windshield as to
not hide anything. When the error was noticed the salesman notified his mistake
and let the customer know before starting the paper work. The price was still
on the vehicle and the situation was fully explained to the customer. In regards to the
registration process. The customer was given 45 day Temporary Registration
Permits on both vehicles. We notify at signing that they will receive their
title and registration in the mail before those TRP’s expire. The registration
and title work was sent to the MVD that we work with on 4/19 as we stated to
the customer. Our records show that the registration was received and mailed
for both vehicles on 4/26. We assume the customer has already received all
paperwork within a couple days of mailing out. If the customer has not received
by now their title and registration, we simply ask them to give us a call and
we can work on getting duplicates for them. At no time did their TRP’s expire
or prevent them from being able to drive the vehicles. The customer was also
already reimbursed their registration cost for plates as they brought in
paperwork from the Air Force that waives the cost. These checks were written on
4/27 and given to the customer the same day in person. We assume this complaint
was written before and of this occurred and thus would make this complaint
already handled and closed.  We would like to thank the RevDex.com for your time and help with this matter. We really work hard to please
our over 200 customers every month. If you have any further questions or
concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

customer and respond as follows: The customer did purchase a PT Cruiser from us in May. The vehicle hasbeen in Nevada and Arizona its entire life according to [redacted] so we are unsure how it would have a rusted engine block. We would be more than willing to helpout this customer in getting her vehicle back on the road. We work with an independent shop that is located on 61 st Avenue and Glendale Avenue. We have already spoken with them and they will get it in right away. The customer is well past the Implied Warranty period of 15 days/500miles. We do not feel we would be responsible for repairs made after the Implied Warranty period but we are willing to offer the following as a good faith gesture: New Deal is willing to pay for half of the repair cost with the customer. If it is ahead gasket repair, this can be done with rebuilding the top of the engine with anew head all rebuilt for around $1,200 which New Deal would be willing to pay $600 of this repair. If it does need an engine replacement, we can get a used engine that would come with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty that can be done at our cost for $2,600 which, New Deal would be willing to pay $1,300 to cover this cost as well. The shop address is [redacted] Glendale Ave, Glendale, 85301 and their phone number is ###-###-####. We would like to thank the Revdex.com for your time and help with this matter. We really work hard to please our over 200 customers every month. If you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.

I have reviewed Ms. [redacted] complaint and am disappointed with her frustrations. Our hope is that every customer has a positive experience not only during the buying process but for months/years to come after the sale.Ms. [redacted] did purchase a 2009 Chevy Cobalt ([redacted]) on April 17th 2015...

from New Deal Pre-Owned Autos. The purchase price was $7,200.00 not the $2,500.00 that Ms. [redacted] stated in her complaint. The $2,500.00 was her down payment. On April18'",2015 Ms. [redacted] came back to the dealership complaining that her check engine light was on and that there was a burning smell inside her car. Ms. [redacted] was advised that our ServiceDepartment was closed on the weekend but that we could get her in immediately Monday morning the 20th of April. At this time Ms. [redacted] asked to speak with our Finance Director, [redacted].Mr. [redacted] advised Ms. [redacted] at that time that we were still waiting to hear back from the banks and by Monday afternoon he could provide a lien holder to her. As promised, Mr. [redacted] contacted Ms. [redacted] via voice mail with a lien holder and great news that we had received an approval with a lower interest  rate and lower monthly payments than she had originally agreed too. Also, on Monday my Service Director contacted Ms. [redacted] to set an appointment to resolve all issues that she had. Ms. [redacted] was appreciative and told my Service Director she would call him back with a time that was convienate  for her work schedule. On Wednesday April 22, 2015 (today) Ms. [redacted] contacted my Service Director and stated she would bring in the vehicle to day to be looked at.My hope is that the customer will be satisfied with our services after the sale and this issue will be resolved. If you have any furthers questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-####.

After reviewing the response of the complaint, we unfortunately would not be able to reimburse over $3200 back to the customer. We feel our offer to have the vehicle inspected at an independent shop we work with and if it did indeed need an engine replacement we would have been able to get the same repair done at an extremely discounted price. We even offered to cover some of the work with the shop we work with as a good faith gesture after the implied warranty had expired. If the customer decided to have the repairs done on their own we cannot control that. At this time since the work has already been done without allowing us to help in the repair, we feel there is nothing else we can do. We would welcome any feedback or recommendations the Revdex.com may have regarding this matter  We would like to thank the Revdex.com for your help and time in this matter. We take pride in our “A” rating with the Revdex.com and with over 200 cars sold each and every month for the past 10 years we really do try hard to satisfy all of our customers. We are proud to be an Accredited Business with the Revdex.com. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.Sincerely,[redacted]New Deal

the complaint from the customer and respond as follows: The customer did purchase a 2011 [redacted] from our dealership back in November. We assure the customer that each vehicle is test driven, emission tested and inspected of all fluids before being placed out for sale. Being a used vehicle, it is hard to predict what could happen months down the road. We understand this is frustrating to the customer to have an issue with the vehicle. The customer is past the Implied Warranty that comes with each vehicle. Since it is not known to us what is wrong with the vehicle at this time, as a good faith gesture we would ask the customer to have the vehicle brought into us for a no cost diagnostic. At this time what we would be able to offer the customer is whatever repairs are needed to get the vehicle running, we would do it at our cost to the customer. We do not know what that cost would be since the complaint does not list the actual issue with the vehicle.   We would like to thank the Revdex.com for your time and help with this matter. We really work hard to please our over 200 customers every month. If you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

complaint as respond as follows:                   The customer purchased the 2003 Cadillac DeVille on December 2nd of 2015. Customer did come into the dealership the last day of the month with an inspection report from [redacted]. Our service manager Mark did inform the customer that most of the items on the list were recommendations. Also, informed the customer that they had a 15 day 500 mile implied warranty on major mechanical failures. In this case the vehicle had not encountered any major failure or broke down in any way. Taking a 13 year old vehicle with over 100k miles to a new Cadillac store, they will of course find items that they want to service or replace to make new again. It is not uncommon for a 13 year old vehicle to have oil seepage or a small leak given the age of the vehicle. The recall can be done free of charge at any Cadillac dealer and is only done through General Motors. We feel the customer has to understand that a used vehicle over 13 years old that was $4,000 will not be in the same condition as a brand new $40,000 vehicle. We would be willing as a good faith offer to repair the oil pressure switch, since that is a component that could affect the oil pressure of the engine. We did replace the coolant reservoir tank when they were previously here. Everything else on the inspection list is service maintenance or recommendations that is typical for a vehicle of this age.    We sell over 150 used cars each and every month.  We take pride in our A rating with the Revdex.com and work hard to make every customer happy.  We appreciate the Revdex.com in taking the time to assist in this matter.   Kind Regards,   JD S[redacted] New Deal Pre-Owned Autos

We at New Deal
do our best to be fair to each and every customer. We have expressed in our
previous response that we would have had no problem replacing the fuel pump if
it in fact had been damaged when we first repaired it. It is very possible that
during re installation there may have been an issue and something happened to
the fuel pump. However, if the customer noticed it right away, we should have
been notified before the customer spent $1,300 at an outside repair facility.
We can’t be held responsible for a repair that was done while under our
warranty that would have cost substantially less. As a good faith gesture, New
Deal would be willing to reimburse the customer the cost of the Fuel Pump part itself. We
called Camelback Mazda and our cost for that pump is $407.76. We can’t pay for
another shops labor or extra cost that they may have charged the customer.   It is
unfortunate that this shop charged as much as it did to the customer, but we do
feel this is a fair offer given the circumstances. We can have a check in the
mail to the customer if the Revdex.com feels this is a fair offer sent out right away
certified mail. We would again like to thank the Revdex.com for
your time in regards to this matter. JD

To: To Whom  It May ConcernFrom: [redacted] Date:March 4, 2015 Subject: 10#:[redacted] have reviewed Mr. [redacted] complaint and have found some valid points. I have also spoke with Mr. [redacted] and absolutely agree there was a breakdown in communication between both my...

Business Managerand my Service Manager leading to a delay in responding to his concerns.I have agreed to and have already mailed a check to Mr. [redacted] for a portion of his out of pocket expenses. At the end of our conversation I  believe Mr. [redacted] was satisfied with the resolve to his concerns. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at [redacted]

In response to the customer’s statement of not being refunded registration cost or not being present a second time at our dealership. We ask to please see the attached paperwork as the customer brought in an Exemption of Arizona Vehicle License Tax form stamped and notarized from the Air Force. The customer brought these forms in on the 27th of April, the same day they were signed and notarized as can be seen on the forms.  Also attached are copies of the deposited checks that were written and given to the customer on the 27th as the customer cashed them the same day. We have the utmost respect and appreciation for anybody serving in the military.

We are never happy to hear a customer has had a problem with a used vehicle they purchased from us. However, in this industry sometimes these things happen. We reviewed the complaint as respond as follows: Ms. [redacted] did purchase a vehicle and attempted to fiance through one of our lenders. We...

always notify the customer that when they are getting paid in other ways instead of a traditional pay stub, we need to show bank statements to prove income. It was not until the customer brought in the bank statements that were shown to not have her name on the account. Unfortunately our bank will only accept a bank statement when it belongs to the customer. We also offered to attempt to put a co signer on the account to go to different banks as well. Unfortunately the banks turned down any cosigners that were available. We are in the car business and in the business to sell cars. Ms [redacted] statement that we just don’t want to help her or sell her a car is completely false. Selling cars is our entire business. We did reimburse Ms [redacted] for the battery as well as a tank of gas that we have attached a copy of the deposited check that shows she did get reimbursed for. We explained to Ms [redacted] that we have held our entire obligations to the contract and since she had the vehicle for 15 days she would be forfeiting her down payment.  As a good faith gesture, and since we have already reimbursed her for the battery and even her gas that she used in the 2 weeks. We would be willing to mail her a check back for $400 as a good faith gesture. Please forward the address in which would like the check to be sent. Thank you We sell over 250 used cars each and every month.  We take pride in our A rating with the Revdex.com and work hard to make every customer happy.  Please let us know if we can do anything further.  Kind Regards,   JD S[redacted] New Deal

reviewed the complaint from the customer and respond as follows: Mr. [redacted] purchased the 2006 Subaru on January 8th. There was an issue with the air condition and we did attempt to repair it. We have had no loaner vehicles for Mr. [redacted] to use so he could bring the vehicle back for the air condition repairs. However, Mr. [redacted] brought the vehicle in on May 5th and we repaired the air condition at no cost the the customer. We have not heard back from Mr. [redacted] so we assume the issue has been taken care of and there is no further problems with the air condition. If there is still an issue, we ask Mr. [redacted] to contact us and bring it in right away. We would like to thank the Revdex.com for your time and help with this matter. We really work hard to please our over 200 customers every month. If you have any further questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me.

We did not receive rembursement for being Active Duty Militaryas we only visited their location once which was to purchase the vehicles. Also the time the information was sent to ADOT was not timely. The paperwork was not submitted until April 19th which was several weeks after we purchased the vehicals.
