Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by New Rochelle Hyundai regarding complaint ID [redacted]. I contacted the company on June **, 2016 and was told by the finance manager Dampen M[redacted] that the $2600 would be fully returned to my bank account within in 1-2 weeks. I...

have not received the refund as of yet. I contacted Damin twice this week and he did not return my calls. Sincerely,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that...

my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I was given a check for $435.00 only after I personally went to New Rochelle Hyundai and disrupted their business. [redacted] (sales manager) also give me a letter confirming that the dealership would be responsible for the $365.00 for excess wear and tear of the 2013 Hyundai Sonata that I turned in to them. They were to contact Hyundai Financial to resolve this part of my complaint so as I could also receive my final lease payment of $136.06 being held. As of Monday, Sept. **,2015 Hyundai Financial's Recovery Department has had no notice from the dealership on this matter. They have stated that the payment must reach them by Oct. **,2015 or the account will be sent to their collections department.I sent an e mail to [redacted] again reminding him of the remaining complaint and his response was "ok". I do not understand why this dealership cannot resolve such a problem but instead does not care about their relationship with potential customers. I would not refer them to anybody and the way they have treated me in this matter I would consider taking out an advertisement in the local paper as well as handing out notices in front of their door describing how they have treated me in this matter. Thank you for your help in this matter. [redacted]

Review: On September [redacted],2014 I went to this dealership to purchase a car. After talking to [redacted]r I decided to wait and not to uy the car for two reasons; first they kept my driver license and second they had my biweekly income as my monthly income. I felt there was a lack of professionalism when the [redacted] took a personal phone call while I was in his office and started talking about what he needs to fix in his apartment. On Sept [redacted] I received a credit alert from [redacted] and [redacted] america running my credit report. I had two hard pulls on 09/**/14 from this dealership. On 10/** I faxed to [redacted] copies of my credit report and I haven't received a response yet.Desired Settlement: I need those two hard pulls to be removed. AS per [redacted] and [redacted] dealership needs to contact them.

Review: Awaiting a credit of $434.48 for item that was originally included in lease price of the auto. I was told by the salesman that a check would be sent to me within one week of purchase. This was on Aug. *, 2015 and as of today I have not received the refund. For the past four weeks I have called more than a dozen times and left messages for the salesman, sales manager and general sales manager and no one returned my calls. I also turned in my old leased 2013 Hyundai on Aug. *, 2015 (less than 19,000 miles on it). The salesman, Mark O[redacted], accepted the return with no damages as he remarked to me "In great shape". I later received a bill for $365.00 for damages and was told that the damages were done in transit from one lot to another and New Rochelle Hyundai would send me an e mail confirmation that the car was received by them in good shape on Aug *, 2015 and when it was inspected on Aug. **, 2015 the damages were noted and were done in transit to another lot.Desired Settlement: I want my refund for the Bluelink service which was originally included in the price and want notification that the damages on my returned 2013 Hyundai are waived.

Review: On June **, 2014 I purchased a Huyndai Sante Fe Sport vin # [redacted] from New Rochelle Hyundai. I also purchased an extended warranty for the car for $1,200 plus tax of about $106 for a total of $1,306. On October * I was involved in an accident and the car was totaled. I contacted the warranty company and I was told that I would received 93% of the amount of the warranty less $50 for cancellation fee. I was told to go to New Rochelle Hyundai and fill out the cancellation form. On October ** I filled out the form and spoke to [redacted] and was told that it will take a few days and that she will get in touch with me. [redacted] didn't call back and on Friday Oct ** I called again was told she was out of the office due to her son illness and that she would call me on Monday morning Oct **. When I didn't get a call on Monday I called again and was told she was at a meeting and would call me. I waited most of the day and called again. Finally spoke to her and she told she had to talk to her [redacted] and would call me back. I waited about two weeks and called again. When I asked for her the [redacted] when to talk to her and came back and told me the [redacted] indicated that it would take a month to complete the work and send the money. As I didn't hear from New Rochelle Hyundai I called again on Dec * and was told the [redacted] was reviewing the claim and would call me. I am still waiting for the call. In the meantime I spoke to the warranty company and was told the policy was cancelled on Oct ** and they don't understand why I didn't get a refund. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this problem wit New Rochelle Hyundai. The amount in question is about $1,164.58Desired Settlement: To receive the $1,164.58 cancellation amount.

Review: Purchased a used vehicle in the beginning of 2013 and long story short, car bills became an issue where their administration didn't correctly follow up with my requests for payment due dates and proper ways to pay my bill. Infact it was well over 3 months of past due fees as I was never instructed a method or the proper parties to pay my bill until the financial company reached out saying I was severely late.As a result I've been assessed numerous financial fees in regards to the lateness of payments. To prove this even the general manager as I was informed was fired. But I'm still left with all the mess.Desired Settlement: As a result of my expenses, I'd like to have this matter resolved by refunds of all my late payments that we submitted.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased a used 2012 Audi on July **, 2015 that was defective from New Rochelle Auto Hyundai Dealership. There were several attempts made to get the repairs fixed that were later determined were/is structural damage to the vehicle. The vehicle was taken into service more than three times and I was placed in a car rental at least three times and two of those times, I was in the rental more than 30 days each. I made my monthly payment but yet I was in a rental of lessor value.

I contacted the New York State Lemon Law Arbitration Program, under the guidelines of The New York State Attorney General’s Office and filed a complaint. The actual hearing date was September **, 2015 and New Rochelle Hyundai did not send any representative to attend the Arbitrations hearing.

I received the duly executed Award rendered in my favor on or about October *, 2015. The decision was for New Rochelle Hyundai to reverse the charges on the purchase of the 2012 Audi $24,277.48 with the finance company and to refund the current book value for the 2005 BMW 5 Series average of $ 6000.00. As instructed, I signed the Notice of Consumer Acceptance of Decision and hand delivered to dealership on October **, 2015 and again October **, 2015. On this day, the rental, for about 30 days was paid off and I was placed in a third rental this time it was the dealership car rental.

On are about November **, New Rochelle Hyundai without any contact or communication from the dealership, since October **,, 2015, REMOVED the rental from my home, in which, had/ have my personal items and Thanksgiving dinner valued at approximately $400.00 or more, my license plates, my HANDICAP sign, (disability due to back and neck injuries) business real estate signs, that I want refunded and returned.

I tried on several occasions to contact the dealership, via email, phone, and certified mail with no response.Desired Settlement: I demand, that I be refunded, for my 2005 BMW 5 Series, the charges for the 2012 Audi be reversed, the late payments reported to all three of the Credit Bureau on my credit report be removed and to show that it was resolved due to arbitration. The purchase of the 2012 Audi be removed from my credit report. I also demand that New Rochelle Hyundai Dealership return/refund my personal items removed from the vehicle.

In addition, I want my $25.00 a day for each business day the dealership is in non-compliance with the New York State Attorney General Office, Lemon Law Arbitration Unit, effective November **, 2015.

Review: I purchased a car from them. They took advantage of me from the beginning b/c my intention was to purchase a car outright no financing. Instead I was duped into financing the car w/ outrageous interest w/o me telling them that I wanted to do that. In addition to the financing they took it upon themselves to charge me $2100 for some kind of protection/warranty that I had no idea about. It was my mom and uncle who caught. Since he had already did the loan, he said I would have to pay the bank off and then once I did so that he ([redacted]/Hyundai) in front of my mother and my uncle and I also have paperwork w/his handwriting. would refund my $2105.00 for the warranty. I paid off the loan in full and quickly. Needless to say that I have not received my money. they are claiming that they are no longer Hyundai of New Rochelle but instead they are New Rochelle Hyundai . My car was paid off well before any change took place and whatever the case they still owe me my money they just don't want to pay me.Desired Settlement: I would like my money to be paid back. the amount is $2105.00. having this money taken from me has caused me hardship and anguish and ruined X-mas for my daughter. I am mentally disabled and on a fixed income and there is no way I could take a loss like this . Please Help Me!

Not trusting him I went to his boss MICHAEL he swiped my card for a refund/credit. Auth no. [redacted]. Sincerely,

Review: Over three months ago I put money down to hold a deal on a Santa Fe. It took them until this month to produce the car. It was not even the choice of color I requested but I settled after waiting for so long. I went to pick up the car. I even had insurance binders with me for the new car. When it was time to do the paperwork they had raised the cost of the car and lowered my trade in value because of "depreciation" and because they stated they were still giving me the same equity provided originally. Therefore, I do not know why they were holding on to my money, if it was not to hold the deal that was originally made. Isn't this breech of contract? They had my money all these months. I thought the original deal would hold. I was also told by the [redacted] that I could walk away from the deal because they had a line of people waiting who would pay more for the car.Desired Settlement: I want to let Revdex.com know so that it could be advertised. They should pay me interest on the money they held for those months.

Review: I recently purchased a Certified Preowned vehicle from a Hyundai Dealer in New Rochelle, NY. I purchased the vehicle on October *, 2013. VIN Number: [redacted]. I live in Lancaster, PA and I drove about 3 hours to purchase this vehicle, so I called and made sure multiple times that the vehicle I was interested in was still available; in short while on my way there I was told that my vehicle was sold, although a similar model with a slightly higher price tag was available, and since I already was 1.5 hours away from the dealer, I went ahead and drove to the dealer and purchased this vehicle. I had financing already approved from [redacted] and all I had to do was submit my paperwork to the dealer. When I sat down with the [redacted] to sign for the car and financial documents, he told me he got me approved for the vehicle. The purchase price that was listed was $14,400. When it came time for signing, $3000 loan fee was added to my purchase price, so now the cost of the car was $17,400. I was skeptical, but I thought that maybe its my finance charge. I was also required to purchase a $3000 warranty plan in order to get the finance. I was told it was like a formality and I could cancel later on. He said it gave the bank a safeguard that the car will be fixed if something goes wrong so the buyer will continue to drive and pay for the vehicle. Once I got home I tried canceling my warranty plan, but the warranty issuing company told me to mail in the warranty paperwork, I never received any warranty paperwork from the dealer. I was told to contact the dealer directly and request a cancellation form. I spoke with the [redacted] requesting a cancellation form, and he mocked at me saying that nobody forced me to buy the warranty in the first place or the car. I also contacted my bank and asked about the loan fee, I was told it wasn't my responsibility and that it was not the finance fee. I was charged $6000 more than what I should have for buying this car. Im still waiting on obtaining the correct documents for a refund/cancellation. The [redacted] told me he would send out forms, but never did and keeps lying that he will send it. I hope by contacting you, I can resolve this issue and get the appropriate refunds back for my overcharge.Desired Settlement: Refund my overcharge

Business

Response:

The purchases of warranty is never necessary to obtain financing. The price of the vehicle is correct at the $17,400. The warranty has since been canceled and funds have been applied to the balance of the loan.

Review: On the day I purchased my vehicle I was given a hand written registration with an expiration date of November [redacted] 2015 and called the dealership several times a week prior to it expiring with no returned calls or assistance. Due to the expired registration I received a $125 ticket that I personally hand delivered to Isreal, who assisted me with my purchase, and was told that it would be handeled immediately and paid. I have contacted the dealership countless times to follow up on the status of the unpaid ticket from November unitl today, January [redacted] and have not gotten any resolve. The level of professionalism that I received during the time of purchase has since been erased and replaced with excuses and un returned calls. It's extremely aggirvating and disheartning to feel like someone has not been their true self and has scammed you. This is not how a business should be run. I am very disappointed in the outcome especially when dealing with such a big purchase.

I am a business woman that travels for work every single day, I need my license and driving record to be clean and should not have it jeprodised because someone else cant effectively do their job. I drive with my children in the car and I'm constantly in fear that the unpaid ticket will turn into a summons or an arrest warrant. That fear has pushed me to pay the ticket myself and then waste more of my valuable time calling and calling the dealership to now personally pay me back what they owe me.Desired Settlement: I expect for the $125 that I paid out of pocket for the ticket be paid back to me in the form that I paid it, cash.

Review: Reporting on behalf of my 81 year old mother...

Last June my mother received a postcard to visit this dealership, come in and get $400 off a car! They talked her into purchasing the two month remainder of her current lease. Then they set up another 5 year loan for almost $18K with an extended coverage for $2250 on a car with 7K miles on it. She never even got the $400 off the car, they never asked if she could pay in full and told her she could cancel the extended coverage any time.

When my mother told me what happened, I immediately payed off the financing so she would own the car in full. I then called the dealership at least 3x to cancel the extended coverage. The dealer continues to ignore my request and Honda Finance is still billing my mother $2250 plus interest.

Because the dealer continues to remain irresponsible in clearing this matter I called Hyundai Finance who stated this is a dealership issue. I then contacted the coverage company who confirmed coverage was canceled on 6/**/15 with the full amount being credited back to New Rochelle Hyndai The coverage company agreed to contact the dealer to have my account credited but has also been unsucessful after 3 attempts.Desired Settlement: This is clearly an issue between the New Rochelle, NY dealership and Hyundai Finance. The dealership, as I understand it, must contact Hyundai Finance and report the money returned from the coverage company. I need them to do this in the full amount of $2250 plus interest accrued since 6/**/15. Kindly advise, thank you.

Review: On September **, 2015 I traded in my car at New Rochelle Hyundai. Balance after trade that New Rochelle Hyundai owes to me is $7,000.00. The Sales Manager I dealt with is Demond J[redacted]. Demond promised that I would get my check in a couple of weeks. At the end of October I started to call Demond. He was ensuring I would receive the check soon, then he stopped returning my calls. I called the dealership several times, asking to connect with the Finance Manager of General Manager. They were always busy and never returned my calls.

On November *, 2015 I called the Hyundai National Customer service. They said they can only call the dealership and relay my request. A day after, on November *, 2015 Sales Manager Mike from New Rochelle Hyundai dealership called me. He apologized, promised to fix the issue ASAP and return to me the day after at the latest. On November *, 2015 I called Mike, he was not available and didn’t return my call.

Six weeks after the situation is still the same – no calls back, no check with my $7,000.00.Desired Settlement: 1) A check with 7,000.00 the dealership owes me +

2) Interested earned as they have been using my money for more than 6 weeks:

- I paid a $1,000.00 deposit on September **, 2015

- they owe me $6,000.00 for the car I traded in on September **, 2015.

Today is November *, 2016.

Review: This dealer did not deliver the car as promised. I purchased a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe and at that time I was told the sd card for tye navigation system had been ordered and it would take 3 days for me to get it. So I took the car home ready to wait for the sd card, the next day I noticed some brake issues, dents, and a broken cover on the car. I contacted the dealer regarding these problems and they told me to bring the car in, since it is certified by hyundai they'd take care of everything for me. I brought the car back the next weekend and asked for the sd card and was told they already had it and I would get it when they fix the car and return it to me. Next week after, the car was still not ready, another week still no answer or anything regarding my car. It's been 3 weeks since I paid for the car and I have not been able to use it because of the negligence of this dealer and its people.

one of managers asked if I wanted to return the car, I told him I do and he said he was going to start the paperwork but he's been MIA after this conversation. At this point I want them to take the car back since they don't know when it's going to be ready so I can use my money and go to another business. I don't want to deal with these people any more.Desired Settlement: They can either deliver the car to me as promised, no dents, remote key, working brakes, working navigation system with the sd card, new cover or they can refund my money and keep their car.

Review: In May 2013, I purchased a 2009 Audi Convertible from [redacted]. Along with purchasing the vehicle, I also purchased the extended warranty for both the vehicle and tires. After reviewing the extended warranty in more detail, I contacted the dealorship to cancel the extended warranties for a full refund. After repeated attempts to contact [redacted] via phone and email to complete this cancellation request, he passed the task on [redacted]. She performed the cancellation request in July 2013 (note original request was in May 2013). I was then told that once the dealorship received confirmation of the cancellation request, they would refund the money by cutting a check toward the Capital One Auto Loan. Since receiving this email form [redacted] in July, the auto loan has yet to be credited. In November 2013, I reached out to Capital One to see if the delay was on their part. Capital One had a record of the warranty, but not the refund. They provided me with the account information at Fidelity, who called and they confirmed the cancellation request had gone thru in July. Hyundai of New Rochelle has not yet credited the loan. I contacted them several times (first to [redacted], then to the Finance department, then the general manager) between November and December 2013 and have not received a call or any communication back.Desired Settlement: I would like Hyundai New Rochelle to credit my loan with the full extended warranty amount plus any interest that was realized between May 2013 and the present.

If it will help resolve this issue, I am attaching the email communication between Hyunday ([redacted]) and myself confirming that the extended service warranty and the tire/road hazard were cancelled, as well as the cancellation confirmation.

In addition to these communications, I'm also attaching the Purchase Agreements which outlines the fees for the warranties. The total to be reimbursed is $5,000 ($2750 + $2,250). I am asking that Hyundai cover the finance fees since these items were cancelled in May 2013.

Please let me know what my next steps to resolve this issue.

Review: Went to Hyundai of New Rochelle to test drive a car, the [redacted] whos name was [redacted] and [redacted] tried to convince me to give a down payment of $500 to hold the deal and were very adament about my leaving a down payment. I asked, if I give a down payment is it fully refundable and they both said yes, if I do not make a purchase the money will be refunded. I asked a second time are you sure I will get this refund and they both promised that I would be refunded. I decided that I could not afford a new car 2 wks later and decided to go back in person to get my money refunded and [redacted] promised me that he would put the paperwork thru for my refund and told me it will take a few weeks for the refund to appear on my account. I went back 3 weeks later and the refund was still not returned. I then spoke with another [redacted] named [redacted] and he told me that he would look into it and never got back to me on the issue after 5 calls made to him. Finally I got a hold of [redacted] and he told to dispute the charge with the bank, when I called the bank they told me I missed the deadline to file a dispute by one day. I then went in person again and spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] again and they told me that I wasn't the only person this happended to that the company is under new ownership and they could not do anything about it. Recently when I called to get the inforamtion of the last owner to try and get this money returned they told me they did not have a way of contacting the old owner. I still have the receipt of the transaction in my possession. That is why I am filing a complaint today with Revdex.com for assistance.Desired Settlement: All I want is to get the money refunded back to me.
