I have never had such poor customer service in my lifeI ordered a desk and ended up receiving a filing cabinetI tried to return the filing cabinet and get the desk where apparently I had to issue an RMA for the "desk" and reorder the deskSo I issue the RMA and order the same desk againThe desk was set for shipping in business daysbusiness days and instances of speaking to customer service later, I still have a filing cabinet sitting in the middle of my apartment and I have no deskThe final customer service person told me they would give me an update on the situation in 3-daysI told the person not to bother and just cancel everything as I did not want to deal with newegg again

For days I was trying to resolve one issue with NeweggI placed numerous calls to Customer Service trying to figure out why only component I ordered went through, while others were cancelled due to "verification glitch" (customer service's term), How is it possible, since all components were ordered at the SAME TIME, with the SAME CREDIT CARD?!
After days of trying to resolve this problem and several rejection e-mails from "verification department", I was told that I should re-order other componentsSo, I cancelled this orderThe whole point of ordering all components at the same time was a promise of a discountOrdering the components separately defeats the purposeThis was my first and will be my last deal with NeweggI am sure it is just a coincidence that the component, which costs $went through and was shipped on the same day, while others ($and $69) were cancelled :)

I ordered a *** Pro from them which was listed as "Cosmetic B- grade with moderate scratching/wear on the exterior chassis" and no mention of the case being bentWhen it arrived I opened the box and it had clearly been under packed, one wrap bubble wrap (the packing order that came with it even specified layers minimum) and a few sheets of packing paper but able to slide all around the inside of the boxOnce I removed what little packing material there was I found that the case had apparently been dropped at some point, either at the seller or in shipping, and was quite bentI contacted Newegg and got the run around about how it was one of their sellers and they would have to contact the sellerOne week later still no update so I contacted them yet againAnd again got the same run around from themIn the end they offered me a whopping $discount on my next purchase for damage to a $computerWhat a jokeI will NOT be buying from them ever again and I'm still not sure that I wasn't talking to a computer the whole time

I have been shopping with Newegg for yearsSo, last thanksgiving I decided to purchase a $Newegg Gift card through a Groupon deal When I tried to use it about months later, I was surprised to see it only had cents left Reported to Newegg the next day and had a long chat with Ruby.L.LiuShe said she would try to issue me a new gift cardI had to leave for a meeting before it was done Everything looked all right The next day, Ruby emailed me that my account had been closed I contacted Newegg right away and chatted with a Dougalas (didn't get the full name) and Vivian.C.Zhao Both of them were rudeThey had shown no interest in resolving the issue with me Horrible customer service

I'm not really sure how a company like Newegg.com, that has hundreds of negative, nightmare customer reviews all over the web, including more negative than positive on the Revdex.com website can have an A+ Revdex.com rating, but maybe no one cares as long as they pay Revdex.com to be accredited?
In any case, Newegg.com is one of the WORST customer service experiences I have ever hadI purchased online only to have my order cancelled due to a "verification" issueTwo hours of multiple calls and on hold time and I now have now order, the funds are on hold at my bank so I can't re-order and out of three people I spoke to, zero of them actually care to make it better

I tried to purchase a printer and toner from www.newegg.com because their prices were the cheapest I foundTheir website has a promo code if you pay with Visa CheckoutI signed up for Visa Checkout only to find out I couldn't use the code because I was purchasing a "combo" packageSo then I tried to purchase all items separately and use a code to take $off of $200+ worth of tonerIt told me I couldn't use that code either because it had already been applied to one of the itemsClearly, it had notTheir website did not warn me about any code restrictions before I tried to use themOnly under their FAQs do they tell you that you might have to be a subscriber to their newsletter for hours before you can use certain codesBased upon my experience, it seems like this company is practicing "bait & switch" and "advertising" which are illegalI will not be buying anything from them nowI would rather pay a lot more for these items at a more honest retailer

Just wanted to say how much I appreciated doing business with Newegg I had gotten a price on 11/aluminum blinds for $at the local Home Depot I stumbled into this company by putting the blinds size online It was absolutely fabulously priced at $per blind I couldn't believe it They arrived promptly and are beautiful and perfect for my windows I cannot believe the price I am more than 100% satisfied with product and service I will be ordering another blinds for other windows Thank you!

This is my first and LAST experience with NewEgg.com I ordered a tablet for my wife for ChristmasAfter spending over an hour on the phone with Cablevision tech support, we were NOT able to get this tablet to hook up to our wireless serviceAll of our other wireless devices work fine, so I know it is the tablet, not our wireless service
Upon contacting NewEgg, they told me the item was NOT ELIGIBLE for either return or refund, without explanation
My advice to you is do business ANYWHERE else but with NewEgg.com, and consult internet consumer reviews before orderingI wish I had

This is the worst place to shop, very bad experienceCustomer service are very rude, and they never help you You get stuck with what you buy as if it is "NO RETURN"

Newegg does not do what it says it is going to doI ordered a computer tower 3day express and had not receive it after two weeksI then called Newegg to resolve the issue and was told they wouldn't be able to confirm anything with their warehouse for another weekThey confirmed with Fedex they had never actually shipped the product, yet they needed to wait another week to confirm with their own warehouse.This week would made three since my purchase and the payment being removed from my account, yet they had no urgency to get it resolvedThis was an urgent purchase need hence the express shipping and when I asked that they ship the product immediately, they demanded more moneyI had no reason to give this company more money to do what they were supposed to have already doneAll attempts at a resolution arrived at waiting a month before I would receive what I should have received days after my online orderOtherwise, I would be forced pay more and I should plan to receive it whenever they might decide to get around to doing what they sayAFTER A LONG ARGUMENT WITH A MANAGER I DECIDED TO REQUEST A REFUNDThe Newegg manager said he was refunding my money and it would be a few days before I would see it in my accountDays later I found a credit for only the cost of shipping in my account, but the other $was nowhere to be found
IN THE END I HAD TO CALL PAYPAL TO GET MY MONEY BACKPAYPAL FINALLY MANAGED TO MAKE THEM REFUND THE REST OF MY MONEY ONE FULL MONTH AFTER THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE DATE
There was no reason for this difficulty, as my money was out of my account by day number two and by day I had nothing to show for my purchase other than argument from management that they couldn't help resolve the issue until they messed around for another week or were given more moneyThis company doesn't care about its' customersI will never use this company again and I would recommend everyone else avoid it as wellYou are better off going to a company that values its' customer like AMAZON!
The moral of the story is trust AMAZONMany other companies have self-centered policies to take advantage and screw-over customers in favor of their own company

I bought a RAT mouse for my PC a while back, When I got it I found that it was not working properlyWhen I asked for a refund they proceeded to try to make me pay the return shipping PLUS a restocking feeThus I opened a paypal caseSince I have opened the paypal case I have been threatened with having my account blocked and being stuck with the broken item by newegg in emails sent to my personal emailthey refuse to answer on paypal and keep trying to get me to send the item back and threaten to block my account if I use paypal to dispute the saleI am appalled that any company calling themselves professionals would behave in this mannerThis was my first purchasing experience through Newegg and will certainly be my lastI can't believe these guys are even still in business with such rude customer service

I purchased items on 11/26/trying to take advantage of newegg's black Friday deals I placed the order and entered all information correctly and received a confirmation email
days later I get an email saying that the order has be canceled because newegg couldn't use my credit card...I double checked the status of the card and that I had entered all information correctly which I had
Later that day I called newegg, after about minutes on hold with their automated system it hung up on me before I talked to anyone So I tried to start up a chat session, which was another minute wait
Finally I got ahold of someone after minutes, and they informed be that since I placed the order on black Friday that those deals are no longer available The difference in price was just over $
I talked to the representative and their supervisor and they said the best they could do was $credit
I see no reason I should be punished over this web site not functioning properly
I will not ever come back to newegg nor will I recommend newegg till I receive a full credit for the difference in price and an apology
You cant punish others because your website doesn't work

Before I was a "Premier" member, my orders would take about days to arriveNow with "Premier" day shipping, it takes at least a weekThis is on different orders in a row, so I know this isn't a coincidenceI called them today about it, and all they had were empty excusesEvidently, the first day of your order doesn't count as one of the days, the weekends don't count, but I can deal with that, so there's days of the week that don't count as day shipping...that still leaves at least one extra unaccounted for day....My advice, stay away from their "Premier Membership" scamYou'll get faster shipping without it, and you'll be treated better by their customer serviceBefore if I had a problem, they would try to remedy it quickly by giving me some store credit, or free merchandiseNow that I'm "Premier" they just tell me to deal with itI run a computer shop, and I've ordered hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from neweggI'm done with them!!

I recently ordered a battery and charger from new egg. The orders were not from new egg as I assumed, but ended up going through their "third party" sellers. It has now been two months and I do not have my battery, and I had to fight the company sending the charger for me to actually get the charger. I have e-mailed new-egg about my missing product and have not recieved ANY responses beyond "We contacted the 3rd party seller, it's on them now".

I do not understand how a company like new-egg can stay in business using their name to allow 3rd party sellers to rip off customers. I have no product and no money, and New Egg continues to ignore me. It is deplorable.

I was a victim of a bait and switch routine from NewEgg.com. A vendor in their marketplace, OneDeal Outlet, for whom they supposedly market and sell products, sold me a printer, and then later advised me that they had made a mistake. After I waited 48 hours for the order to process, I inquired as to why the item had not been shipped. I was informed that the item had been priced incorrectly, and that the shipping amount would be increased from $14.99 to $142.99. Otherwise, the order would be cancelled The total purchase price for the item with the $14.99 shipping amount was within $14 of competitive online vendors at several other reputable vendors in the Google Shopping department. The changing of the shipping amount by $128 from the originally listed price at the time I committed to purchase the item made the price non-competitive, and more importantly caused me great inconvenience, where I was forced out of an agreed upon deal because a vendor would not honor a published price on their website. I ended up purchasing the item from a different vendor at a slightly higher price than the original price from NewEgg. NewEgg's marketplace is dangerous. They do not stand behind the resolution of bait and switch offers from vendors in their marketplace. I recommend using Amazon.com and their A-Z guarantee because after many purchases in their marketplace, I have never seen anything like this horrible experience at NewEgg.

I order a 300$ graphics card late Monday night. I called Newegg first thing Tuesday morning to add the RUSH service. The person I talked to on the phone told me that my order has already been picked and will be processed shortly. That there was no need to add RUSH service. The next day my order was not processed so I contacted Newegg through their chat service. They told me that I was unable to to add RUSH service now but my order should ship that day. They cut off for their carrier pickup is at 4PM PST. I contacted Newegg through there chat service again at 2:30PST and told them my order was still not processed and I need it to be shipped not just processed. They told me there was order was on track to be processed and make carrier pickup. At no surprise my order was not processed until after their carrier pickup time. They tried telling me that me order was processed on time but billing me and not shipping my order is not the same as shipping as my order. How would the bank like it if I told them I wrote a check for rent on the day rent was do but did not drop the check off until later that week. It is unexceptional. My order did not leave their warehouse until the next day until 4PM. Since they processed my order on Wednesday their web-site stated I would receive my order on Friday. Since it shipped on Wednesday and not Tuesday my order would not arrive until next Monday. I am a two day shipment from the warehouse since I am the next state over. I order my product on Monday and should have received it on Thursday or Friday. Since they were late on my shipment that I called 3 times and wasted 4 hours my package arrived 3 days later then it should have. I cannot explain how upset I am at Newegg. Any other company in America would have helped a customer who called in three times. Order #[redacted]

Tip for consumers: Do your self a favor if you need anything delivered on time use a different eCommerce web-site that puts customers first. Newegg is not the same company it was a few years ago.
