I ordered a cell phone skin from New Egg. I paid $5.95 +$3.95 s/h. The postman comes to deliver the product and asks me to pay $3.70 for shipping because the shipper didn't correctly affix the shipping label and pay enough shipping. I refused the package. This was February 14th. I am due a refund. I haven't gotten one and am told that I have to wait for this to be received by the shipper. So if USPS has lost it or is unable to return it due to the messed up shipping label, I don't get a refund. I've emailed back and forth and they take zero responsibility for this and I get no refund.

Bought a high end motherboard.

Item had been handled prior to arriving to my hands. I noticed the box was not sealed, I didn't think much of it since not all parts are sealed. Then I noticed some oil residue and a few scuffs close to the CPU cover and just figured [redacted] tested the item prior to shipping it since all companies have lazy workers. I mounted the item on my case and noticed that a nut that attaches the wifi antenna adapter was missing. At this point it was WAY too much to be a new item. I contacted Newegg for an RMA and they listed the reason as "WONT BOOT, MISSING NUT ON LEFT SIDE" instead of the real reason. I barely caught this when I was getting ready to print the RMA label and send it away. I called and asked them to fix the reason for the item being returned and they did. Now I have to wait two weeks or more for my replacement to arrive and see if the rest of the parts that I bought from newegg even work.

I was going to write a negative review, originally.
I needed to return the computer that I purchased, but I needed a box to make the return. The first representative said that I had no recourse without the box and its UPC, but after a second effort the representative was able to bring my issue to a complete resolution.
If you buy a computer from Newegg, I would highly recommend reading in full their purchase agreement for full disclosure of return policies. They do not reiterate these policies in the package. Keep your box for return.

So I purchased a refurbished Raspberry Pi on eBay from NewEgg, comes in defective, nothing coming out of the HDMI Cable. Return the thing but no refund. I contacted the company weeks later not seeing the refund in my account, they claimed I had filed a chargeback with my credit card company, which is ridiculous since I had paid with paypal. Anyhow spent hours emailing back and fourth, I had to file a claim with Paypal to get my money back which I did but just a whole lot of trouble! They are either just very bad on admin issues or ill intentioned, in either case I would just shop elsewhere. Go see the feedbacks on ebay from peoples, they are just horrible

Purchased 2 32Gb flash drives on 12/16/14 but never received them. Notified Newegg on 01/09/15 and the response was to blame me "why did you wait so long to notify us? They apparently have a 15 day window to report items not received. They stated that they would make a one time exception and file a claim with their shipper on my behalf. Wow, they charge my credit card yet fail to provide the items purchased then insinuate that this is all my fault! The only reason I waited so long is that it was the Christmas shopping season and I assumed this was the cause of the delay. I have never heard of such a policy and I have never experienced such bad "customer service"! I'm still waiting for a refund on 01/26/15!

I've been a Newegg customer for 11 years. My first order date was on 8/11/2005 when I was a ripe age of 16 when I built my first computer. Back then Newegg was the go-to place for tech hardware. Since then Newegg has started selling all sorts of tech and I've stuck with them for the most part, with a few hiccups here and there with customer service. In fact, the Newegg customer service used to be the standard in my eyes. I've since found myself going with Amazon for computer parts (just spent $400 this week) more and more, as I've started to lose faith in Newegg. In the past 3-4 years been screwed on Newegg refurbished products, rebates, and just general purchases.

My most recent order was on 6/28/16, which had a rush processing with 3-day shipping. While they disclaim that there is no guarantee that the rush processing will work (then why sell it for 3 bucks?) that it should ship out on the same day. The very next day an alert goes up claiming from 6/29 - 7/1 they are doing inventory and we shouldn't expect our orders to go out. I contacted customer service inquiring why my product hadn't shipped by 7/1 and I get boiler plate apologies and garbage excuses. I was PROMISED that my item would ship on 7/1. I have since been told that my item wont ship now until 7/5 and wont receive my item until 7/8.

I've considering canceling the order but I actually have a client who needed this yesterday, I suppose I will keep it for myself now or as a Christmas present. This will be my last Newegg purchase. I'd rather have the reliability of Amazon that will back their word then useless fake apologies of Newegg customer service.

Also they laughably offered me a $5 dollar gift card for my troubles. It's not about money, its about principal. Not to mention right as I try to cancel they mark it as Shipped so I have to resend them back the item for refund.

During a week long "sale event" an item was tagged as being on sale for a certain amount that entire week. During that same event, a day after my order, the price dropped significantly. This is just sketchy in my opinion and have never dealt with this before. I contacted them about the issue and was told they could not credit me the difference. Why do they have 4 out of 5 stars here when 79% of the reviews are negative?

If you buy from newegg, just know that you wont be able top return or exchange anything you buy. They sell name brands but offer ZERO exchange or refunds. Their staff intentionally misleads to drag out the return/exchange policy. Newegg is a complete JOKE. If I had read a review like this I would have paid 1.5X to support local and to avoid these complete douche bags. NEW EGG is order only, not return... Scam.

I ordered two new laptops from NewEgg.com. I received them and when setting them up, one of them froze up while the basic components were installing, and the other froze up when I tried to download one basic program. The return process was just as frustrating. It took multiple emails to get a response, first from newegg, then the 'seller'. They FINALLY sent the RMA slips for me to return their crap products. I sent them back, followed up once I knew they were received. At that point the 'seller' was more responsive and I did receive the refund for the laptops. We had also purchased an additional protection warranty from newegg that they claimed would 'automatically' be refunded once the laptop refund was processed. It wasn't. So I emailed. No response. I emailed again. No response. So I called. Finally got through to someone and he started the process to get my refund. Put me on hold, came back, said he was putting everything through and then all of a sudden the call turned into a prerecorded survey wanting to know how I would rate their service. They weren't even done with the service!!!! I am now on hold a second time trying to get my money back. This is ridiculous. I'm starting to think they just keep putting people off until they give up. Worst customer service ever to go along with their crap products.

I recently placed an order with Newegg, received all the notifications, checked my credit card to see the two transactions pending and felt comfortable with the whole process.

Today, I checked the status and both orders were voided. No explanation, just orders cancelled and call or resubmit the order if you want to.

Now I have missed the window for delivery prior to Christmas. I can only surmise that these products are not available as there is no issue with the Credit Card or the verified delivery addresses.

Very poor performance, I wound not use Newegg again.

Hi, we ordered a Dell computer from Newegg and it was damaged by UPS during delivery. Newegg was compassionate to our situation(even though it wasn't their fault) and covered the shipping cost to overnight us a new one. Stand up company

I found at item I could not not find anywhere else, so I was very excited to order from Newegg. After waiting 8 days for the item to even be processed as shipped-I contacted the seller through the newegg marketplace website. They told me a defect was found and could not ship the item, but would ship a new one out in 1-2 weeks. At that point I requested a refund rather than wait two more weeks for the item to be shipped. I did not hear from the seller again. At this point I appealed to the Newegg customer service. I shared all my email conversations between the seller and I. Newegg contacted the seller, but told them I wanted to return the item. It was clear from my emails I never recieved the item and wanted a refund. Finally newegg said they issued a refund. I have waited five days, and still have not recieved the refund and Newegg has not returned my emails.

Defective Merchandise, poor customer service, poor policy and DECEPTIVE ads too! , Warning do NOT buy anything from ‪#‎newegg‬ !!! Ordered a laptop lenovo T400 160 gb with 18 month warranty on 8/25 (warranty appeared to be from Lenovo but in fact was NOT) Defective out of the box, I was told I could get a refund or REPLACEMENT, I chose a replacement. Did not receive replacement, but got a refund without any further discussion. I was told it is now "out of stock" but its actually still on their website (multiple ones). However #newegg says those are "different sellers". they won't make this right! conveniently the price has now been raised and the "rebate" is over ............. Never again will I buy from #newegg!!! Deceptive advertising, bait and switch on prices, won't honor replacement OFFERED by them etc also FYI if you buy an items with a rebate and send it in (I didn't) they will not even let you return it. its almost a MONTH of trying to get a working computer from them, totally unacceptable!

Having dealt with Newegg previously, I felt safe in dealing with them again. Sadly, this was a major mistake on my part. The order I placed through their site was quickly accepted and my account billed. The company fulfilling the sale dropped the ball from the get go. Attempts to contact the selling company daily for two weeks went without response from them, either by phone or email.

Attempting to contact Newegg was almost as bad. Contacting them daily it took them 12 days to respond. Their classic response, give the seller another day or two. I informed Newegg that I had been contacting the seller for nearly two weeks, thus the "day or two" was well past.

Newegg's latest response? The same as the fulfillment company, NOTHING.

Newegg needs to improve their customer service by leaps and bounds. Right now, avoid them like the plague. You can get far better service from another major online retailer, that actually has customer service.

Selling counterfeit product. (Confirmed with manufacturer.) When trying to reach Newegg to complain/return, no response. Auto reply to email said they would reply within 1-2 business days. Nope. No one answers phone. "Live" chat always says wait time is almost an hour, and has unexpectedly disconnected/ended session while I waited!

I purchased a refurbished laptop for student in September. After several attempts to get the device to work, I resolved to return it and get a refund. The device was returned in November 15, 2015. I received an email on December 15, 2015 acknowledging the return received and my refund would be issued within 5-7 business days. To this date, I have not received a refund. I have spoken with several persons but no resolution on 2-3 day promises. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

I purchased three TV sets for a project. I paid extra money for 3 day delivery service since it was a rush project. It was Sunday night.

On Wednesday(The third day of my order), they notified that the delivery would be changed to standard delivery and I did not need to pay any extra for delivery.

I got three questions after I read that email.

1) This was 3 day shipping and the day sent mail to me were third day of my order. Why they did not ship the product yet.

2) Why they change the 3 day shipping to standard shipping without my permission?

3) Why do they think I had to pay more for changing to slower shipping option from 3 day shipping?

I read the email multiple times. That was right, they changed that 3 day delivery to standard delivery for their convenience and KINDLY said that there was no extra charge for me to get the slower service. I thought it was joke, but it was not a joke. They said it would delivered after 10 days of my order. My project would have an issue now.

I told them I would like to cancel that order and would buy the TV sets at local retailer. Guess what - no answer. I was concerned about this issues and sent them email again and again... five times. NO ANSWER.

After 5+ canceling request, I got an email. They already sent those TVs but they would recall the delivery. In a few hours, I got an email saying my surveillance camera order was canceling. The camera was sold/shipped by a market place seller who did their job correctly (unlike NewEgg). The surveillance camera would be arrived by Friday but NewEgg canceled this order Wednesday evening. I had to contact the Marketplace seller on Thursday morning to correct this mistake and I got that by Friday.

NewEgg sent TVs anyway and they are coming I will get that this Wednesday if I would lucky enough. I tried to cancel that order but I am not canceling this order now. I just don't have confidence to refund this TVs and talk with NewEgg anymore. I decided to take that TVs - I do not want to have more problem. If I ask something to NewEgg, they will make an excellent problem with very creative methods.

I told them, I just wanted to get the extra cost back for that I paid for 3 day shipping which they obviously failed the service. They said they did... of course, they did not. Now, I do not care about that 3 day shipping cost. Keep it NewEgg. I am OK... I need to get my blood pressure down... I am really OK.. I just want to get out of the NewEgg Hell.

was given a estimated delivery date of April 24th with a purchuse. Now looks like it will be the 30th. called and talked to 2 different customer service rep and emailed a copy showing them the estimated delivery date and was told they will return $15 of a $300 purchuse 5%. Informed them that the differance in delivery dates has cost me well over $15 more like $45 and was told sorry can't do anything else. my tip is buy from somewhere that cares about customers Newegg doesn't

Absolutely the worst business I have ever come across. I ordered a $1600 laptop and wanted it delivered to an APO address as I am deployed right now. Seven days after the order was labeled as shipped, it is still stuck in Pre-Shipment. USPS confirmed they still had not received the package for delivery to begin. Newegg claims you cannot track APO shipments and this is just a flat out lie. You can track them all the way until they leave the Stateside MPS facility. SEVEN days sitting in a warehouse eating up my warranty. I contacted 3 times before someone gave me the real answer and said USPS had not picked up the package. Trying to shift the blame to USPS. USPS doesn't just forget to pick stuff up for seven days. Your fault Newegg. So anyways I am upset and file a claim for a full refund. That process will now take 3-5 business days and then up to 3 weeks after that before I get my money back. So when all is said and done I'm out 5 weeks of my time and no laptop. And It would be foolish to purchase from somewhere else before the order is confirmed cancelled and refunded. So basically neweggs laziness and poor business practices have screwed me out of enjoying a little performance gaming during my last couple months of deployment. Oh not to mention their terrible customer service who just lie lie lie. Be warned people, read other reviews I'm not the only one this business is backstabbing. Do not buy from this company.

After numerous calls, on-line chats, and an email, I guess I am giving up on Newegg. I have had two accounts suspended and four orders canceled with no clear way to fix the problem. I don't know if it is an issue with their ordering or their verification system. No one I have talked with seems to have an answer to the problem that actually works. It is very frustrating because it seems once their system wrongly decides there might be fraudulent activity on your account, there is no way to correct it. I was unable to log in even after talking with a customer rep on the phone who verified my legitimacy and said I would have access again. This means that Newegg already lost one sales opportunity because I had to order an item from Best Buy instead. I do not normally take the time to do reviews, but something is not working correctly in their processes, and it needs to be addressed.
